David and his twin brother, Jason Benham, are former professional baseball players, nationally acclaimed entrepreneurs and best- selling authors. Their family's first real big success happened through their real estate business which grew to 100 offices in 35 states. Their company topped several charts, including Inc. On April 18, 2014, HGTV announced it was planning to premier a home improvement reality television show called Flip It Forward in October 2014, featuring the identical twin brothers David and Jason Benham.
