In this episode of the PricePlow Podcast, we welcome TJ Dillashaw, two-time UFC Bantamweight champion turned supplement entrepreneur, to discuss his journey from elite fighter to founder of Wild Society Nutrition. This fascinating conversation explores how TJ's decades of competition experience, combined with hard-learned lessons about supplement quality and industry practices, led him to create a brand focused on clean, effective products for athletes and health-conscious consumers alike. TJ shares his evolution from someone who “didn't really care” about supplementation early in his career to becoming deeply knowledgeable about nutrition and ingredient quality. His frustrations with taking products he wouldn't personally use, despite being sponsored by major brands, ultimately drove him to create Wild Society with a focus on natural flavoring, natural sweeteners, and third-party testing through Informed Sport certification. The discussion reveals a fighter's mentality applied to business, emphasizing transparency, quality over margins, and building products that can “outlive” their founder. Looking for unique and authentic F1 merchandise? Check out www.racingexclusives.com! Check out The RaceWknd magazine here! Title music created by J.T. the Human: https://www.jtthehuman.com/ Contact & Feedback: Find us on Apple Podcasts, Spotify or wherever you enjoy podcasts Email: scuderiaf1pod@gmail.com X: @ScuderiaF1Pod Episode Show Notes: May 29, 2025 Hey everyone, and welcome back to the Scuderia F1 Podcast! Let's jump right into our Quick Hits! First up, that F1 movie is hitting theaters on June 27th. Get ready, because due to insane demand, Warner Bros. and IMAX are actually expanding the Fan-First Premiere Screenings of Apple Original Film F1 to 400 IMAX locations worldwide. And guess what? We've got one right here in Coquitlam! Shifting gears to the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona, it's wild to think that since 2016, only two drivers have taken the win there: Max Verstappen in 2016, 2022, 2023, and 2024, and Lewis Hamilton in 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021. Also, make sure to check out F1: The Academy when it drops on Netflix on May 28th. Fun fact: the last McLaren driver to win in Monaco was Lewis Hamilton back in 2008, the very year he became champion! Huge congrats are also in order for Spaniard Alex Palou for his Indy 500 win over Marcus Ericsson. That was his first-ever oval win, and he's been on fire, winning 5 out of 6 races and leading the championship by a whopping 108 points! Now, about Imola's future on the calendar... it's a bit up in the air with Madrid joining next year. Imola's contract is up, and there's talk about whether they'll get an extra year after missing 2023 due to flooding. Word on the street is F1 asked for a cool 60 million Euros to keep the race going. Just a heads-up, Barcelona's contract wraps up after 2026. On the partnership front, we've got some new big names! Pepsi has officially joined as an Official Partner of F1, with Sting Energy stepping in as the official Energy Drink, and Gatorade becoming the Official Partner of F1 Sprint. Moving onto a quick recap of the Monaco Grand Prix. If you want all the details, you can find full analysis on Wikipedia and Motorsport.com. Stefano Domenicali has actually come out defending F1's Monaco GP tire change rule after some drivers voiced their criticism. And even though some folks called it a "garbage race," the ABC/ESPN ratings in the US were absolutely massive, pulling in the largest live audience ever for a Monaco Grand Prix telecast! Our main topic for discussion today is a big one: How can we actually fix the Monaco Grand Prix? We'll be diving into some feasible ways to create more overtaking opportunities and exploring proposed changes to the circuit itself to try and save the Grand Prix. In other F1 news, we'll be asking the question: Does Lewis Hamilton need a new engineer? We'll also share the full radio exchange from Hamilton's pretty frustrating Monaco GP. Mattia Binotto has admitted that Audi "won't have the best power unit" in 2026. Plus, Adrian Newey suggests Max Verstappen will "always chase the fastest car" amidst all the speculation about a switch to Aston Martin. And finally, we'll be speculating if big things are coming for Ferrari with a new wing! And to wrap things up, a quick Spanish GP Preview! Fernando Alonso has become an ambassador for the Circuit de Barcelona, and he's pretty confident it'll be around for the next 3-4 decades, even if there are two Spanish GPs in 2026, as he sees the others as temporary. Also, F1 is reportedly clamping down on flexi-wings at the Spanish GP. Join the conversation! Follow us on X @ScuderiaF1Pod Subscribe to the Scuderia F1 Podcast wherever you get your podcasts. After trying the Bloom Sparkling Energy drinks before its official launch last year (and getting a better sense of the overall go-to-market strategy), I provided a very rare public statement on a beverage within the pre-launch phase of the commercialization cycle. And for those that might think I'm capping…you can ask AI to analyze thousands of my short- and long-form content pieces over the last decade. Yet, it would only find one other occasion where I declared pre-launch that massive success was guaranteed for an energy drink. But just like GHOST Energy a handful of years earlier…something felt special about Bloom Sparkling Energy, even as most beverage industry pundits questioned the extension strategy by the “greens supplement company.” And within our conversation…Bloom Nutrition Co-Founder (and CEO), Greg LaVecchia, explained just how insanely successful the initial year has been surrounding those Bloom Sparkling Energy drinks. Also, we discuss how…with help from the Nutrabolt (and KDP) strategic partnerships, the brand is building on those breakout wins in the beverage category by launching Bloom Pop, its answer to what fans feel the modern soda category is missing. Episode 087 – Leading Through Chaos, Carrying the Burden, and Knowing When to Walk Away In this episode of the JP Dinnell Podcast, JP and Lucas deliver one of their most transparent and hard-hitting conversations yet — tackling what it means to lead when the burden gets heavy, the mission gets messy, and the relationships around you start shifting. Coming off a powerful FTX leadership training event, JP shares behind-the-scenes lessons on clarity under chaos, how most leaders fail when pressure hits, and why leadership isn't just about serving others — it's about protecting your standards, your team, and your time. They also dig into the hard truth about relationships: not everyone can go where you're going, and sometimes, leadership means cutting ties with people who don't align with your mission — even if they're good people.

Just when CELSIUS was beginning to drown…Alani Nu had the ring-shaped flotation device ready to save the energy drink brand. Celsius Holdings (NASDAQ: CELH) had quarterly revenue of $329.3 million, which was down 7% YoY. And while that activity now marks the third straight quarter of falling YoY revenue…the addition of Alani Nu next quarter will guarantee positive YoY growth restarted (albeit mostly from the non-comparable acquisition-related aspect). According to Circana last 13-week data, CELSIUS decreased by 3% YoY...but sustained place as the third-largest energy drink brand in the category with a dollar share of 10.9%. And I don't want gloss over this accomplishment…as CELSIUS became the first brand in over a decade not named Red Bull or Monster Energy that was able to capture more than a 10% share in the U.S. energy drinks market. Celsius energy drinks has seen massive growth in convenience stores, foodservice (e.g. fast food restaurants), mass retailers like Walmart, the club channel in retailers like Costco, and the Amazon marketplace. Additionally, the early international market development groundwork is starting to formalize with CELSIUS with performance continuing to exceed initial expectations in those recently expanded markets. It's my opinion that international expansion presents significant opportunity for incremental growth over the next three to five years. With Celsius at basically full distribution now…the TDP growth will have to come from increased items carried per store. Going forward, Celsius will increase items per store through a combination of product strategies like flavor, format, pack size, and variant expansion. Additionally, CELISUS will continue scaling up the new Essentials lineup that has exceeded the company's expectations. Moreover, they will seek more store placements like leveraging cold display activity in Celsius-branded coolers. If you missed the massive news from February, CELSIUS Holdings announced it had entered into a definitive agreement to acquire Alani Nu for a net purchase price of $1.65 billion. And the big news was that CELSIUS announced that, according to Circana last 52-week data for the period ending April 13, 2025…Alani Nu surpassed $1 billion in retail sales. But heading into next quarter, the combined brand platform of CELSIUS Holdings will have just over 16% category share (trailing only the Monster Energy combined brand platform and Red Bull). Also, because of the insane 70%+ YoY growth rate of Alani Nu, the combined brand platform of CELSIUS Holdings would be considered the fastest growing energy drink brand portfolio of the top 10 categorical competitors. But with the Alani Nu acquisition now closed…CELSIUS Holdings becomes an even more dynamically interesting company positioned favorably long-term. Lastly, with a great balance sheet...Celsius Holdings keeps strategic optionality available within (what I believe is) this market volatility fueled opportunistic period.
