We just couldn't help ourselves this week! Much love for Phantom of the Opera as depicted over the past century plus, and even more admiration for Hammer films in general. This week's episode is a little longer. We said we weren't going to go into comparing the different films and stage productions to the Gaston Leroux novel, but yeah . . .we did! Some great Hammer alum throughout this one that is light on kills but still fun. Enjoy (and leave those rats alone!)

But she had to go back first. Think back to the moment where you almost allowed your light to give out. Flickering Light She didn't want to think about that. It was too dark. Dark to experience and it was too dark to think about. That moment had come close to taking her out for good. But it didn't. You had light. Remember the lesson, not the moment. What are you going to do with it? Even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you - Psalm 139:12 Reluctantly Coquette went back to that day. The day she was hearing voices. Those voices.Voices that wouldn't ever leave her alone. But on that particular day they were a little louder… loud enough that they started to make sense and they started to sound right. It was too hard, it was too much and she could fix it if she just ended it. It almost worked. She got up and said to herself… world have your things I'd rather be with God. But God had other plans. You may not be with me but I am with you. Always. “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you or forsake you” -Deuteronomy 31.6 Her light had started flickering that day – it almost gave out but it didn't and it wasn't going to now. Quite the opposite, it was getting brighter and brighter. The candle rant towards the end might just be my best rant ever…  I also wonder “what is going to be the state of my hair during the interviews?”.  And how that is representative of the egoic battle.  The candle rant materializes because I receive a random text from Cooper, my 20yr old, about some candles I'd given him for his birthday.  And that text made my heart shine!  ...And even more!Episode notes:With the intention of repurposing content I have my light more proper in my fledgling recording studio.  I get to start reaching out to my influencer list.  Current headline, “Want to skip your midlife crisis or get through the one you're in…”Lost track.  Found track.  Lost my voice.  Will I edit this madness out.  The lighting is proper.“The Tools For A Good Life Summit”.   “…We cover everything from the scientific to the metaphysic and from the ancient to the modern.”  How fun is that gonna be!That's where I've ended up…   After all those months of shenaniganizing…  The backs and forth the ups and downs. As I interview people, what is gonna be the state of my hair?  Let it be what it's gonna be :).  Let it be it's gonna be fun.  It's representative of that egoic battle.  That the shiny objects matter.  That I look right that it matters, that I sound right and that it matters……another topic.  If I survive this Summit my next one will be “Modern Mystics Summit”.  I'm putting that out there because I'm trying to put all ideas out there.  There are unlimited Ideas and Unlimited Content…  Thank you Kyle Cease.  He was the first one that I could really start embracing that thought. In the mortgage business I'd have these ideas…  And I better keep them inside for when I want to use them.  Ironically I can't even remember what they are :).God bless if I am able to share an idea and somebody else is able to run with it.  That's progress for Mischa.  I need to give it away for free.  Share share share.II got this great text from my son Cooper.  He's a young twenty at the time of this recording.  I gave him some candles for his bday.  I do love my candles.  The current chakra candles just smell really good.  But back when I was in a state of mental distress they were saving my ass!  Not Turtle Island they are “Aloha Bay”!I'm not apposed to some incense or sage now and then.  Especially the little bottles of sage spray.   I used to use it at the end of my yoga classes that I taught when everyone was in Shavasana…  So good. But Coops has picked up some of those things…  He will have some of those Zenful, or mindfulness tools…  It's funny how candle is a mindfulness tool.  Nah it's just a candle.  Oh no, it's part of mindfulness strategy sir.  Do you realize what you have? The power that you have with that candle?  It can be life changing.  I'm not sure which part of the spectrum you fall on?  “I like to see the flickering light.” or “Its like your conduit to god.”So I give Coops the candles for his bday…  Do whatever you want with them, re-gift em to your girl friend…  So just the other day he sent me the coolest text out of nowhere…  He took a picture of a couple of them burning… “Hey I just dug these up!  …I love the money smell and the abundance smell”   …It was so sweet!  Omg to get a random text from your 20 yr old son.  That is like a massive gift.Life is so good.  I am going to have to remember the candle rant.  Is it a little flickering light that makes you happy or is it a conduit to God for you?  Thank you universe for that thought!Time to reach out to the speakers…  And a little riff on the summit!  It's gonna be rad.  Who knows what the hair is gonna look like on any particular day that I interview someone.  That is gonna be half the fun people.Start podcasting!  Get the Shure MV88 mobile mic, you can literally take it anywhere on the fly https://amzn.to/2Mnba3QAccess my “Insiders Guide to Finding Peace” here: https://belove.media/peace    See more resources at https://belove.media/resources.   Email me: contact@belove.media   For social Media:      https://www.instagram.com/mrmischaz/  https://www.facebook.com/MischaZvegintzov     Subscribe and share to help spread the love for a better world! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.

Pop some champagne because we’re kicking off Books and the City with some exciting convos about how we met, what we’re reading right now and what we want to read next! Plus, are we ALL Charlotte York or does someone have to be the Samantha?! Here are the books we discussed and the bar that matches it in NYC -------------> Kayla Read: The Words I Never Wrote by Jane Thynne https://www.penguinrandomhouse.com/books/557329/the-words-i-never-wrote-by-jane-thynne/ Read this one while you have a cozy hot toddy and type away at your own history-making novel on the vintage typewriters at The High Line Hotel’s Lobby Bar in Chelsea. Up next: Before and After by Judy Christie Becky Read: City of Flickering Light by Juliette Fay https://www.simonandschuster.com/books/City-of-Flickering-Light/Juliette-Fay/9781501192937 Read this while you sip a latte or an old fashioned at the art deco themed Five and Dime in the Financial District. Go at night for happy hour and you might find a silent film (or should we say flicker!) projected on the wall. Up next: Ninety-Nine Glimpses of Princess Margaret by Craig Brown Emily Read: Catch and Kill by Ronan Farrow https://www.littlebrown.com/titles/ronan-farrow/catch-and-kill/9780316486637/ Because of the sensitive subject matter of this book we do not have a location recommendation to go along with it. Read this book in the place that makes you feel most comfortable.

Episode 3 – BansheeLeave your Ghost stories at the door, Kitty is here to talk about Banshee of The Good People, The Wee Folk or the Sidhe. Faerie of traditional Irish Faerie Folklore are old, clever and can be really shrieky. They are all around us and watching, always watching. But what are they thinking? Are they impressed by our social-influencing or are they unfriending us? Should we fear them? In this episode, Kitty bins the hysteria to take a fresh, compassionate look at the most misunderstood of all Faerie: BansheeWho is she really? Why does she suffer so?Does it matter what she looks like? Can she really follow Irish families to America? To get to the bottom of this and more, Kitty discusses 3 very different accounts of Banshee. We celebrate Banshee and the Good People in song and poem and as always, Kitty explains why it’s okay to believe in Faeries. To read more stories of encounters with the Good People, share your own story of an encounter, perhaps one handed down through your family, or just an unusual experience on a visit to Ireland at:www.encounterswiththegoodpeople.comglassonionstories@gmail.comwww.facebook.com/encounterswiththegoodpeoplewww.instagram.com/encounterswiththegoodpeople*Credits:‘The Banshee’ poem by Alice Guerin Crist (1876-1941).
