“The art of one to many selling”, is a potential tagline.  The to do list is rather larger.  Hiring a designer for the logo art takes the weight of the world of my shoulders.  It's incredible how getting one simple thing done sets off the dominos for the rest.    Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting!  These are the best mobile mic's for IOS and Android phones.  You can literally take them anywhere on the fly.Get the Shure MV88 mobile mic for IOS,  https://amzn.to/3z2NrIJGet the Shure MV88+ for  mobile mic for Android  https://amzn.to/3ly8SNjGet A Course In Miracles Here! https://amzn.to/3hoE7sAAccess my “Insiders Guide to Finding Peace” here: https://belove.media/peaceSee more resources at https://belove.media/resourcesEmail me: contact@belove.mediaFor social Media:      https://www.instagram.com/mrmischaz/https://www.facebook.com/MischaZvegintzovSubscribe and share to help spread the love for a better world! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:02Good evening. I'm recording this in the evening time. It's very peaceful in my house very quiet. A train will perhaps go by. Anyway, this episode is going to be about what happened today. Again what happened today? And as a reminder, there's you know, I'm all in on Russell Brunson right now click funnels and all that stuff. Funnel Hacking live funnel hacking.  Dot com secrets traffic secrets. What else am I deep in right now? I'm deep in expert secrets right now. Getting ready to do some sort of a webinar it seems. And all the work within that. And also yes, a reminder that I am rebranding the podcast to Table Rush. The Table Rush master class and marketing and sales secrets the table rush… Table Rush, masterclass marketing and sales secrets I was thinking for a moment perhaps to go... What was it the art of one to many selling... because that is in essence what the Table Rush is a result of one to many selling. So webinar is one to many selling a webinar. Much of the internet internet sales is one to many selling.  but I decided that... I wasn't sure yet if I was going to go with the art of one to many selling or or the Table Rush masterclass marketing and sales secrets because I do have a history of some one to one selling and that's a very valuable skill.Mischa Zvegintzov  02:15So I digress we were going to talk about what happened today. Why I started talking about Russell Brunson in the first place was as I am looking at of this chart of of episode ideas.  this could be for your YouTube channel for your email, email sequences for your blogging for your podcast, and there's 16 of them. And one of them is "episode style". "What happened today?" So what happened today? I'm going to tell you what happened today. I'm very excited. And it took me a bit to get to it. But I hired a logo developer for my Table Rush masterclass logo for both the podcast and for the YouTube channel. Because I need to have that because I'm going to be making the switch soon. So as you listen to this episode, it may or may not the change may or may not be official.  but it is coming just know so it's not a surprise to you. And you can look forward to my, to the spiritual side of what I've been talking about on the pitch slab podcast to be my spirituality as it expresses itself through my entrepreneurship. Or perhaps it's my entrepreneurship, as it expresses itself through my spirituality. But it's been happening on the podcast either way, so I ordered I ordered the logo work so I'm very excited about that. Which means I'm committed and it's happening and I felt the clock ticking and I was like we need to get that done. And what's interesting about that is is I felt I don't know if you ever have this I'm sure you do but you can email me and let me know or or my emails in the in the show notes my email address. but I can feel there's that one thing that that subconsciously you're not getting it done.  or subconsciously I'm not getting it done and I feel behind and I feel like everything's falling apart.  and oh no, the you know the wheels are coming off the bus. The train is coming off the tracks. However you want to say it.   that I was feeling that with the with the podcast art.Mischa Zvegintzov  04:55So I put this big list of I'm looking at it right now have to does on my whiteboard and and I'm I'm picking one to get done for sure. Right like looking at the list I've got all sorts of things on their.  podcast art.  YouTube art.  Passport.  I'm going on a Russell Brunson... He's got a trip to Mexico for his 2CCX'ers. And people from his mastermind go as well, or his inner circle, excuse me. so I'm super excited for that.  But I've got Table Rush speaker invites on there. I've got you know, framework number one offer number one needs to be worked. on my value ladder mission statement for Facebook. So that was the other thing that I got done yesterday. I got my value ladder mission statement up on my Facebook profile. And that was another big thing that was was that I was feeling the weight of the world on my shoulders for something so simple. And that's I help entrepreneurs jumpstart the growth of their business to this crazy funky new age communication tool, the winfomercial. Yeah, so I got that up on my Facebook profile, and I did a couple of cool little things on it. So we'll see if that gets me any traction or what the response is. So those are the two things that I was going to talk about what happened today and got a bunch of other stuff up there.  find test subjects for my winfomercial so I can do proof of concept. how to introduce people on the winfomercial. there's speakers who sell from stage that are very successful at it like to be introduced... there's a very there's a high converting way to do it. A really good way to do it. So I want to make sure that I get that locked down, get some examples of that. Practice future pacing.  these can all be different episodes, I can talk about what the future pacing is. trial closes.  Get my trial, the trial closes on the card. So a lot of a lot of sales one to many, whether it's webinars are old school, infomercials or sales letters, or all these sorts of things, there's trial closes. And so you write them on the cards, put them on your desk. That way when you're interviewing somebody or or doing a webinar you can put in the trial closes. And if you're unsure what a trial closes, what we'll save that for another episode. And then I'm still working on the groups to get to 100,000 people to interact with.  and some other things up there, but as I pick a main one, to knock it off the list while I'm working on others, it's actually working very well. So great day to finally have ordered the artwork. I felt a weight lifted off my shoulders. And that's where we are. Have a great day. Hopefully you got some good tips out of there if you're if you're following along and starting your own ventures or working on your own ventures PEACE OUT

Accelerated Path To Peace, Table Rush. This episode is about how I can't spell “entrepreneur” or “entrepreneurial”!  Time to record the new intro's outro's for the podcast rebrand to Table Rush.  And to make the art for the new Table Rush podcast name and sister YouTube channel as well.  A bit of discussion of my Winformercial method.Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:01On this episode, I thought it would be really funny to talk about how entrepreneur is spelled and pronounced and my difficulties with that. And then also laced in within all that are mixed in with that where I am on on the change from The Accelerated Path To Peace  to Table RushMischa Zvegintzov  00:37so as I as my as my direction is becoming clearer and I'm and I've committed to changing to Table Rush you know, I've got to get, I get to get new logos made. I get to record new intros new outros. Since a YouTube channel is starting, I'll get to do some, you know, some visual intros and outros for video. So that'll be super fun. And that's honestly one of the things that will keep me from making the change. The official change is that I need that those logos and things and so that way, when I make the change, I can have the new branding, I could make the change without the branding. And when the branding comes around, it comes around, but I'd like to have it be seamless. And it also gives me time to, you know, get the word out there that name and branding of the podcast is changing from the from the you know, The Accelerated Path To Peace  to to Table Rush. It's funny, I did have a thought for a bit to go call it bitch slap Business Edition, instead of pitch, slap The Accelerated Path To Peace . And then my coach fans said, Hey, man, you know, just cleaning easy, just change the name of the podcast, Table Rush and have fun with it. And I'd love that idea. And I'd love that thought. And, of course, as you heard for a few episodes there, I had a panic moment that that wouldn't be able to happen due to RSS feeds, subdomains domains, all this podcast hosting Tech Talk, that kind of threw me for a loop for a day or two. actually not too bad. But there was an episode where I wavered on the change. But changes definitely happening.Mischa Zvegintzov  02:52And so as I'm working on, I've got the winfomercial in the background as well. So the winfomercial is, is basically, you know, I've created this interview methodology to help deliver people's message, sales message, if they've got a project product, if they've got a message, so help people refine that create long form videos, quickly, effortlessly, relatively, effortlessly. And then someone's got good content, that they can't long form video content that they can slice dice for yet it do whatever, and it'll help generate leads and convert those leads into customers. And I've got this great methodology and very excited for that. So I'll have courses around that and coaching around that. And, you know, it'll help provide focus and direction and momentum for, for people. And I think one of the most exciting things is, for a lot of people that process of creating long form, video sales can be very burly, and take months and months of trial and error. And it cannot be fun, and it can be excruciating and frustrating. And all my skill sets, I've come up with a method to to streamline that process and make it fun and efficient and effective. So we all have that to look forward to.Mischa Zvegintzov  04:35So I've been working on the point of that whole diatribe right there, or that little story is that I've been working on. Well, there's the whole story of how it all came together as well. These epiphany moments of, of, of where people have asked me to help them with something I'm going to say that for another episode, just their stories to tell them that regard and I cannot wait to tell them. This episode is not about that. This episode is about how I can't spell entrepreneur, and entrepreneurial. And that a lot of times there goes to train. This episode is about how I can't spell entrepreneur, or entrepreneurial, and oftentimes have a hard time pronouncing it. And it's so funny as I was thinking as I'm committing to the entrepreneurial journey, and talking about it, and, and how I can help people with their entrepreneurial journey, providing them focus and, and then also, and then also, you know, getting people back to the basics of sales and marketing. And because that is so powerful, the blocking and the tackling, we need that. But I was trying to on some of the sales letters I'm creating in the marketing, I'm creating around that and the methodology around that and working on my offers. I'm having to spell entrepreneur, a lot, and entrepreneurial, and I can't spell that dang word.Mischa Zvegintzov 6:22like today, I was spelling it so badly in on, you know, my Word doc, or it's apple. So whatever the Apple version of that is, pages, the pages doc, that spelling it so badly that the pages dictionary couldn't give me an opinion on how to spell it correctly. And you know, your spelling words badly when the tech can't give you the replacement word. And I will say this, a lot of times if I can't spell a word, and I'm trying to spell it on the on the Apple doc, or the word doc, and that dictionary isn't working, you can go to the Google and the Google has so much more brain power, it will usually very quickly figure out the correct spelling. So anyhow, I was I had thought I was like, Oh my gosh, I I want to be talking about entrepreneurs, talking to talking to entrepreneurs, spelling, entrepreneur, writing entrepreneurial stuff. I mean, all centered around entrepreneurs and entrepreneurial, better learn how to spell it. So I was today. It was totally breaking it down. So I'm going to try it right now as I'm walking on tray. This is how I broke it down  entre e n t r e p r e.   E n t r e p r e . And then it's "newer", and I believe the last bit is n u e r.  So I think I got it. "Entre" e n t r e p r e n u e r...  There you go entrepreneur. I think I got it dialed in. I just thought that was so funny. And the irony that that's what I'm going head deep into talking about and can't spell it. Anyway, so much. So many tales to tell so much inspiration to share with you. This is all come together and I can't wait to help people. Yes! All my skills, all of what I'm good at are hopefully coming together. And I'm having one of the blissey moments right now, which you get to hear of like there's no where but up. But of course as I start making offers and bringing it to market, there's going to be the ups and downs of that whole thing.  and what I think my vision is and where it's going to end up. Oh my gosh, am I ready for that journey? Anyway, love to all

Oh my God.  There's so many distractions right now. cars everywhere. I walking a different route and there's so many people.  it's Halloween ish. people in costumes skateboarders.  people with kids dressed up their dogs dressed up.  A whole pack of 30 somethings just skateboarded by dressed up as everything from...  It's all ladies so from cowboys dressed up as males to bunnies to everything in between. all on skateboards some of them pushing kids. but oh my goodness, and I'm just having bouts of insecurity as I'm walking with my phone and my MV88 mic recording.  Anyhow talk about messy action but this thought is so top of mind for me that I've just got to express it. And and basically it's that you know, The original podcast The Accelerated Path To Peace  podcast you know, although I'm changing the name and doing a rebrand to Table Rush. Table Rush masterclass. that the original accelerated path to peace podcast was indeed you know, documenting, documenting of my, of my entrepreneurial journey, the starting of the podcast, just to add a year ago. You know, hitting a year ago, this actually could be on the actual year anniversary. But, you know, step one, define an audience or your, your, you know, your dream customer.Mischa Zvegintzov  02:14So I worked up a rudimentary dream customer to get into the game who I thought it was, and that was the, perhaps, you know, brokenhearted, divorce dad? And how do we, how do we help that person get back on track? Or what when they're ready, you know, they're like, Alright, I'm done suffering. And being in the mire. So, let's, let's break through and in charge forward. and, and then, you know, the dream 100 putting together that list of 100 people who, who I want to work with in that regard. So there was so many people that helped me along the way with meditation, yoga, spiritual practices, energy work, writing, journaling, you know. Kyle Cease was in there such a major influence on me. And, you know, Rod Stryker, and his, his ideas, and the, the Dharma code, you know, your life mission statement. and, and working on all that stuff, and really going deep with meditation and writing and journaling and self growth. and and hunkering down you know, and, anyhow.  so all those people within all those modalities, and then really having my mind open to, well, there's those modalities that Misha used. And there's the, you know, recovery framework that's within athletes been such a big part of my life for 30 years, 35 years, on my whole life, really, because my parents were trying to get sober in my youth, as well. So deep roots there, but that there's all these other modalities that once I opened my mind, just a little, it was like, wow, there's all this cool stuff out there cool ways to calm your mind to find center to tap into, you know, to tap into your inspiration. and and, you know, the tools of a Good Life Summit came out of that as I started interviewing all these amazing people and all these things. and all that's a big part of the entrepreneurial journey, right? Mischa trying to find what he's good at. How can Mischa help? Who is that person that Mischa can help?Mischa Zvegintzov  04:58And then, you know, bring entrepreneurship into that which I love entrepreneurship and have my whole life and, and it's a great my spirituality absolutely expresses itself through my entrepreneurship. And so although, you know, there's some changes ahead that hopefully everybody will stay with me with and enjoy and like and prosper in, but perhaps not I totally understand it. I am just trying to say that we're not trying to say I am saying that...  you know, the first 360 episodes have been about my entrepreneurial journey, and my struggles with new ideas, new concepts, learning new things. And the online world. I've been so offline. For the last five years, as I've dug into yoga, and all that stuff, like, I was basically non existent on the social media and really just digging deep on the internal work. So this is like a fast forward process for me. Or was that is that the right word? Fast forward? I don't know, I think you understand what I'm saying. But just talking about the learning and things I'm trying to do to grow an audience that, you know, building summits, all these things. And it's interesting, because I really was relatively tech savvy. You know, in my younger years, that's normal for a lot of adults, actually, we sort of are super tech savvy and then we turn into the parents who aren't tech savvy, perhaps. And I've definitely experienced some of that.  But still am tech savvy.  I love the direct response marketing. I thrived within that, and the mortgage business for 15 years, and creating flyers and mailing lists and mailing to them and then, you know, collecting emails and nurturing my old clients with email campaigns, and then being available when they needed help.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:18And, and so this is very much, Mischa 2.0. And, you know, the, the, the emergence of that and, and I hope people are learning and enjoying the ride with me, and I'm doing my best to add value. And I just, I guess, maybe this in an appreciation for where I am right now. and how some things and ideas are coalescing, and coming together. and that although you know, it's a, it's a big shift in branding and podcast name, that it's exciting for me because it's going to be more focused. I'm dialing in the focus, right, the original, you know, thesis for The Accelerated Path To Peace  was very broad, very broad, you know, a wide net.  and, but very much about documenting my entrepreneurial journey, trying to be of service trying to learn how to craft my skills to bring the market and an entrepreneur way. and then hopefully, hopefully, inspire other people to do the same. And just have fun too. I'm big about having fun these days. You know, what, I do this for free and for fun? Yes, I would. And it turns out I am, because I am not at profitability yet. I'm trying. I'm working hard. But hopefully that's around the corner at some point. And anyway, I I just I'm just very excited to continue to talk in a more focused way about my entrepreneurial journey.  about the skills and tools and frameworks and systems that I'm creating to help people.  And that you get to come along with me and yeah, that's what I've got. I think that's enough. So So to recap, you know, the, The Accelerated Path To Peace  podcast was very much about my entrepreneurial journey, can literally hear it almost from the beginning 360 episodes ago to where I am now today. And this is just a refinement of that focus of that and, and so much of the musings again won't be the same. But hopefully there'll be more focused and more useful and more... you know, I'll have... again as I've said... what I'm good at, I'll be able to you know, turn into products to help people. So there we go enough out to me. Thank you for listening. The change to the new podcasts name. Table Rush is eminent. Hopefully it will not be a surprise for you when that happens. All right, love to all.

The new. Sorry, I lost my train of thinking all of a sudden, it seems to happen to me. Cut, edit. Let's start again. Start again. Okay. On today's episode, we are going to talk about the theme of the new Table Rush, masterclass podcast, and You Tube channel, the rebranding of what once was to something new. And here we go, here's, here's I'm gonna give you the intro really quick welcome everybody to the Table Rush masterclass, where we get back to the marketing basics, excuse me, where we get back to the marketing and sales basics to help entrepreneurs, entrepreneurs, like you grow your business to $1 million, annual revenue and beyond. And there'll be a few things going on within that. So we'll have interviews, and a few different types of interviews. So we've got I have I know a bunch of people and because my network grows, meeting more and more people that have successful million dollar annual revenue businesses, and some are well beyond that. And so let's interview those individuals. Get them on the podcast, and talk about what they do, how they got their, their successes. And, and, and, and pick their brains and, and then that'll be amazing, yes. And then also, I'll be able to help them because hopefully, some of their services will be in line with with with many or much of our listenership so. So they can have some fractional gain is that incremental gain.Mischa Zvegintzov  02:22But also, I know that so many entrepreneurs out there that are having success, love to share their message, love to give back. Love those mentor opportunities. So I'm super excited to interview, interview these people, and learn from them. And just, I have such a passion and interest in businesses of what people do do, what people do and their niches, and it fascinates me and always has. And was one of the things that actually made me a great loan officer was I loved the income part of taking that loan application. And I dealt with a lot of higher loan amounts. So I got to deal with a lot of business owners and I got to deal with a lot of help a lot of, you know, VP, level president level C level manager level. Style people.  And I just always loved my whole life, I've been fascinated by what people do. Again, so very exciting for me. And then, you know, what's the word I'm looking for, you know, the inspiration that entrepreneurs bring. There's a word I'm looking for visionary, so, you know, getting some visionary entrepreneurs on as well. And you know, there's so much heartfelt movement, there's so much good being done. So many people creating businesses that are, you know, of service and people are able to talk about that. Very excited for that. So, enough about that. Then we've got the whole section of entrepreneurs who are who are just getting started or on their way some are on that journey to, to, you know, that million dollar revenue mark, annual revenue mark, and I think it's gonna be really fun to document that part of the journey and especially before and after stories, so talk to someone you know, who's just getting started or, you know, maybe has their foundation firmly in place.  That journey, the journey, right. So be able to document before and after. So I'm so excited to do that.Mischa Zvegintzov  05:09And then And then, you know, there's, as my mission and how I can help people, you know, find focus and get back to the sales and marketing basics and, and, you know, bring my frameworks and this win this win infomercial framework system that I've developed to help people it'll be really fun to be able to document the successes and failures of that process as well. So, you know, get get people on the podcast, who are, who are having, you know, that experience of working with me. So that is going to be exciting. And then, and then some of my daily musings per usual on the podcast that I already do. So the interviews as well will all be on YouTube. So we can really, you know, strip out the audio and get the audio to the, to the podcast channel as well. But really, I think the interview is so much, so much of the passion and emotion and although it comes through on podcast interviews, the visual to be able to see that on, you know, video, that opportunity is huge, very excited for that. So I cannot wait to do that on the YouTube channel. So you'll be able to hear the interviews, and in both formats, and then I just want to talk about the million dollar mark, right, it's this million dollar annual revenue, and it's just more of a metric, I would say. So. It's, it's more about once you're hitting that mark, you know, that your message, your passion, what you're entrepreneuring how you're being of service to the world is working, you're getting your message out there, and you're being effective. And so I just like that, that metric. So it's, it's, it's, it means that you're, you're carrying your message. And I love that, and I love that idea. And I love that concept.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:41And then also, having cash flow can be fun. So let's make no mistake about it if you're able to, you know, generate some revenue and then be able to give back with that revenue and donate and all the stuff that comes with that. Super cool gas, so just very excited. And I can't wait to to, you know, see how my spiritual spirituality and my spiritual messages, you know, manifest through my entrepreneurship or, like entrepreneurship is, is an outlet for that and, and as so many, for so many people, it turns out in the growth that entrepreneurial entrepreneurship affords, and you know, the faith and going into center and and he knows trusting and adversity and setbacks, and just the journey, the hero's journey, so amazing. So that's what you have to look forward to, on the Table Rush Podcast. I'm getting some new logos done and we'll have a new intro and outro so hopefully, I can make that official really soon. Realistically, you'll have a few more episodes at least where I will be letting you know that the change is happening. So it won't be a completely a rude awakening and and I understand if some people will not groove on the message so much anymore. But I totally get it seems it's a maturation for me and and I think yeah.  I think this next episode I will talk about how you know, the entrepreneurial journey has been such a big part of the original podcast anyway. So that's it I'll talk about in the next episode love to all

Turns out that changing the name of the podcast is going to be easier than I thought.  All of the worrying about the underlying tech was unfounded.  So yet again, making decisions on false assumptions, comes back to give me a little bit in the butt.   ...and as I'm publishing this episode I am running out the door to see Bill Burr...  So this is all the notes you are going to get :).Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:00It's a busy day at the park as I walk in record with my sure and V 88 mic that all of you all should have who are fledgling podcasters and or YouTubers because the little mic is awesome. Anyhow today we're going to discuss the change of the podcast name I was in a bit of a panic mode and I recorded on the last episode about the potential name change. So I'm going to talk about that today. Yes, so I am going to change the name of the podcast it turns out and I will change it to table rush table rush master class perhaps when you listen to this episode The name will be changed no I'm not going to do that because I want to give everybody plenty of notice that the name is changing so you know and there's a lesson in all this which I'm going to talk about right now. And I've been through it a few times as I have created the bitch slap podcast as I've as I've you know, worked on becoming an and and Amazon affiliate and got kicked off as I was clawing and scratching to be a to get my apple my original thing you know bitch slap accelerated path to peace podcast approved with Apple there's a consistent theme and all this and one is I will make assumptions about how I think things work and I will take actions according to the assumption or inactions according to that assumption and blended in there as is I will see the rules and perhaps think they don't apply to me as well as take some action based on not complete you know information and and have reactionary moments which is normal for everybody if you are above that or oblivious to that I'm not sure if oblivious is the right word to use there are immune to that well God bless you and I will also say that it doesn't happen all the time it's usually when if there's a mission critical thing happening and I perhaps think well I suppose it is mission critical thing all this stuff in hindsight is not been mission critical I think you get what I'm saying. So in a perfect world I would have these thought streams ironed out perfectly. So it was a cohesive easy flowing easy read of an episode however, so I was all excited originally to change the name of the podcast to to table rush. And then I sort of panicked like I was ready to let go of the of the bitch slap name. And I effectively moved on from it in my head. Although as I've gotten traction with that podcast with this podcast over the last six weeks I was like wait what what am I doing? But I'm so had some reclaimed attachment to the original podcast name. That might be a good way to say it.Mischa Zvegintzov  04:53So filler word filler word. So I started looking into changing the podcast name. And there's RSS feeds, and subdomains and all this stuff associated with a podcast and who hosts your podcast? And I overreacted? And was like, I can't just change the name. I can't just change the name. Which is not true, actually. And so I sort of panicked. And was like, Well, I guess I'm going to keep the bitch slap accelerated path to peace name, and this and that, because I thought that the underlying subdomains or the domains would keep the original title in it. And the change of the title wouldn't filter down through through the subdomains, and domains and all this sort of stuff. And and after the last episode I recorded, which I was like not not changing the name. I was like, wait a minute, this can't be right, I've got to do a little bit of digging, I can't it's not realistic. It's not seamless. It's not efficient. It's not. It's a diluted message to have. The table rush, masterclass YouTube channel, and then the original pitch, slap accelerated path piece podcast name, like the the, the messages aren't necessarily as cohesive as they could be, or as efficient as they could be. It sounds like man, I might just have to give up the podcast all together. And, and so I was like, Well, wait a minute. Why don't I actually ask the question of the podcast people? Can I change the name? And the branding of it? And will that filter down through the domain subdomains? Etc, etc? And the RSS, the RSS feed will be fine? And the answer was, yes. And I was like, Oh, my goodness, I can change the podcast name. It can all be clean, and easy and work together. And I recorded that last episode, one right before this, or maybe two ago, let's either perhaps it's two ago, one or two ago where I was like, I'm not changing the name. After all. That is not true. Maybe I didn't even publish that episode, as you listen to this, just know that I had a panic moment. And and thought that I wasn't gonna be able to change the name on it. So I think that's super funny. And it happened to me when Apple was giving me pushback about my podcast name. And I was like, Oh, my gosh, I might need to change the name to God shot. And there's that whole series back 300 episodes ago, when I was just getting started, but it was a same sort of a thing i i kind of spent time in reaction mode instead of time in find out how it actually works, Mohammed. Right, so I just assumed the answer that would allow or justify the, the the change from bitch slap to God shot when it was like, Oh, I just needed to dig a little bit more, send the app the email to Apple customer service. And once I finally did that step, which I assumed it wouldn't work literally. I was like, apple won't respond to the customer service inquiry. They're too big of a corporation. So why bother? Why not start designing new logos to God shot? Why not record new intros and outros? Why not do all this work? So I did a good week or 10 days of work. And finally, it was like, Maybe you should just send that email and see what happens. So I sent the email to Apple customer service. And they responded so quickly. They helped me work through the issue. And there was no problem. I just had basically a truncated version of the same experience just now, except it only took two days.Mischa Zvegintzov  09:50And only one recorded episode where I put the brakes on the name change, but just know that the podcast name is changing. I'll be definitely talking about much of much of these business concepts. But still talking about spiritual stuff. How did I say it earlier is I was interviewing somebody. And we were having some pre conversation I said, yeah, the name is changing and, and effectively, it's going to be how, you know, our spirituality comes through, and our entrepreneurship. I actually wrote it down was a great little quote. So that's what's happening. That's what's going on. Thank you, everybody, for your patience. Thank you for listening. Thank you for being on this amazing journey with me as I as I continue to grow and refine what I'm doing and yes, have a good day.

And again, as a reminder, I'm in a rebrand and just about to change the name of the podcast from Bitch Slap ...The Accelerated Path To Peace over to the table rush, talk show. It's going to be more entre proneural minded, entrepreneurial minded. Again, this is the Thursday meditation, so hang in there with me.00:40 I believe that we can express our spirituality through our entrepreneurship. So we're going to be talking a lot about that in future episodes, and just growing businesses and having fun in sales and marketing and all kinds of good stuff. I believe a big part of expressing ourselves through entrepreneurship is meditation. And meditation is such a powerful tool to help us tap into that creative zone.  To co create with the universe. to be inspired.  to learn how to be nice and calm when the battle gets strong, shall we say. But nonetheless, here's a meditation. This meditation is a script that I have grabbed from Rod Strykers the forward desires. So let's get started. And be aware that there are some some spaces of time in here where I will not be talking. So it might be a minute, at some points and some points, two minutes where I won't be talking. So the meditation will be over, I will just be being quiet. So let's get started.02:03 Start by sitting tall, either in a comfortable and supportive chair, or on your couch or perhaps you've pulled over and are sitting in your car. The key thing to me is that you're sitting comfortably, where you can sit for 15 or 20 minutes withoutfeeling like you're having to hold a position if that makes sense.02:35 Alright, here we go.02:37 Close your eyes02:42 become aware of your body02:46 just relax and feel your body at rest.02:54 Become aware of effortless breathing02:59 feel the whole body03:02 and feel it breathing effortlessly?04:05 Now we're going to begin to count backward on our breath.04:12 We're going to start up the number 10. And whenever we notice our body breathe out, that will be the first count. So breathe in.04:29 First exhale 1004:36 Breathe in04:43 next exhale eight.04:48 Continue breathing. Each breath is a step backward where you feel your body and mind relax.05:00 acts more and more deeply05:06 continue05:09 the closer you get to zero05:12 the more your body and mind approach a state of complete ease05:21 on each exhale peel away another layer of stress and tension05:35 at zero rest in complete stillness and peace05:41 for a moment just feel the presence of stillness and peace.06:46 Now bring your attention to your forehead in the space between your eyebrows as you hold your attention there.07:59 Become aware of your body breathing,08:04 don't force or try to shape your breath.08:08 Just be aware of the point between your eyebrows and your body breathing08:16 the more effortless you can be the better.09:20 Allow your awareness to connect your breath to the point between your eyebrows.09:29 Now when you notice the body breathing in, your awareness moves from the point between your eyebrows to the midbrain.09:40 Something called the third eye.09:44 The midbrain is the point in the middle of your brain, roughly between your temples.09:52 When you notice your body breathing out, sense your awareness moving from the point from10:00 that point to the point between your eyebrows10:05 continue10:07 just continue to feel your awareness move from one point to another on the movement of your breath10:18 as you breathe in, awareness moves from the center of the eyebrows to the midbrain.10:27 As you breathe out awareness moves from the midbrain to the center eyebrow to the eyebrows Center.12:46 As your mind begins to settle,12:50 you will begin to feel the practice becoming more effortless and a growing sense of calm. Continue15:01 gradually you will become so relaxed your mind so quiet that you will be able to rest15:12 your whole being absorbed in a rhythm of deep rest and contentment17:23 as you experience this sense yourself becoming fully absorbed in the center just be there watch feel and listen?19:37 As the mind and body enter into a rhythm of deep peace and effortlessness, you begin to sense that your awareness at the point between your eyebrows moves in and out on its own independent of the breath19:59 eventually you can stop thinking about and working with a breath and just be aware of a kind of effortless pulse moving in in and out of the Third Eye Center20:17 gradually feel a sense of bliss unfolding your whole being flooded with a boundless sense of contentment and joy20:29 don't try just be aware and at the same time completely effortless contentment will continue to unfold the more completely you let go into effortlessness?22:46 now become aware that the source of this contentment and joy you are experiencing is actually coming from you. It is you continue letting go into the meditation until you feel that you are the source of joy and bliss. Eventually your body will feel so full of ease that you won't need to do the practice anymore.23:19 At that point, notice a feeling of deep peace both inside and outside you25:39 remain in this place for as long as you like.25:44 The meditation is complete.25:48 When you're ready,25:51 bring your awareness back to your breath.25:55 Breath in26:01 gentle breath out through the mouth.26:08 Breath in through the nose26:13 gentle breath out through the mouth.26:18 Wiggle your fingers26:24 wiggle your toes26:31 roll your head from side to side. Blink your eyes open.26:38 Embrace the new awareness26:42 that you have of your surroundings.26:45 And take that wisdom that you have that connection to your center and bring that to the rest of your day.26:56 Have a fabulous day27:11 Thank you, thank you. Bitch Slap ...The Accelerated Path to Peace!

A little update on the general direction of what I'm doing.  Lot's of messy action.  I've started the Table Rush YouTube channel without all the cool logos, intros, outs, etc.  But I have no audience to offend yet so get after it.   I hint that I might not rebrand the podcast to Table Rush (Spoiler alert! I am absolutely rebranding this podcast to Table Rush.)  And I finally am willing to talk about my new idea…  If you have a product, you'd like to create a long form sales video to sell that product. I've got a structure a method a process to make that enjoyable, easy and fun.  The Winfomercial!Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:02Okay, time for a little update on general direction. So I've got my my Table Rush, YouTube channel up and running. It's not pretty, it's not sexy yet, but it is up and running. We've got some interviews on there, and I've got some momentum. And I decided to just take super messy action and start going before I had all the cool intros, outros, logos, any of that stuff. Like to start getting those episodes up, man. There's no audience there yet anyway, so there's no one to be offended. And I've got my Bitch Slap podcast, which you're listening to Hello. And so I was going to believe a few episodes ago, I was talking about having the Table Rush, rebranding the Bitch Slap ...The Accelerated Path To Peace Podcast, to Table Rush, but I had an epiphany that the cleanest easiest way to go is just keep doing my daily musings on the Bitch Slap podcast, and then start doing just create that YouTube channel that I always wanted to create. And that is the Table Rush Masterclass YouTube channel.  So I'm going to keep it nice and clean and the bitch slap podcast will continue on and there will be business themes weaved on through it just as there was before.  I actually don't think there's going to be much change other than then. Yeah, I don't think there's gonna be much change, just keep tracking the growth of the, of the project that I'm up to the co-creating with the universe. So awesome. Interviews might change a little bit, I might pull the Table Rush interviews and post them on this podcast. But we'll see. I just want to say that all signs, the universe has given me tons of feedback that I am absolutely on the right track. With with the Table Rush idea, and then also keeping the, the podcast so that feels good.Mischa Zvegintzov  02:59 So there'll be no re branding of the podcast. And you could anticipate me pointing you to the Table Rush podcast from from this Table Rush YouTube channel from this podcast and what's so what I'm so excited about on the on the YouTube channel is I like interacting in the video format. And I think it's fun to watch the speakers and the interviewees interact and it just as it's a ton of fun, it's a it's a great way to interact, and also reach a different segment of my audience. So super excited about that. We're so excited to have it be absolutely business oriented. And to really delve into that side of things. And I think so much personal and spiritual growth can come from, you know, entrepreneurship and being of service and trying to be of service to community and creating that win win win environment. that it's gonna be super fun to explore and bring my spiritual side into that into that business realm. As that was all we're already doing. Just a more focused just a more focused direction and approach, which I guess is a natural progression of finding my voice and learning and, and seeing how and who I can serve in the best wayMischa Zvegintzov  05:01 Okay, enough of that, that one thing that. So I had this inspiration. And this inspiration was about how to use my interviewing techniques.  My openness and my, you know, my big heart, my childish curiosity, my true interest and other people in business endeavors that that could be a skill to nurture. And to help people in the business realm. So one idea for that is, is to, by the interview process, help people suss out their message. And with the method that I'm creating, to help them create content that will create traffic, and convert that traffic into customers. And, by me, bringing my natural skills and interests to market to do that. Boy.  So what I've created, gonna say it I've been holding back and hesitant, I want this to be the perfect episode to say it. The process I've created or creating, it's almost done almost ready to be rolled out. It's called the Winfomercial.  The Winfomercial!  It's kind of like, like, it's like blending the old and the new, it's funky, new, this funky, New Age communication tool. And, yes, I've got some, some beta customers that I'm bringing through and working on the process with them. And it's pretty exciting. Totally winging this episode, now promote. So it wasn't really prepared to talk about it. But I just turned out turns out the universe wants me to get it out there. So. So you can think of it this way. You have a product, you'd like to create a long form sales video to sell that product. I've got a structure a method a process to make that enjoyable, easy and fun. And I'll interview you. And your natural charisma, the best parts of you will easily shine. And so I'll just I'll take a lot of that weight off of your shoulders. I'll be the director, the producer. And I know what questions to ask. And my shiny character, my shining light, my openness, my true enthusiasm. And Curiosity will suss out, in you, what needs to be conveyed into the sales message. There's a whole bunch of other stuff going on there too. But that's the gist of it. Thank you for listening. I will learn how to say it better. But that's what's happening. So I'm super excited to put it out there into the world like this. It's not anticipating that so. Wow. Anyway, that's the direction that's what's happening. Thank you for being part of my creative process. Thank you for sticking with me and learning with me and growing with me and yes, take some risks. Try some things. Go for it. Right. There's some endeavors that you want to try. Perhaps give them a go that's it I'm done. Peace out.

The strategy is join five or so FaceBook groups that have a 100k members total.  Than interact with those groups to generate organic traffic to your FB page, lead magnets ect.  Step A) was leave all of the groups I didn't like!  Step B is find groups that I want to interact with.  That have quality interactions.  It turns out it's a lot of work to find those quality groups that are a good fit.     So with some effort I've seen my Podcast downloads increase 25%!  With some at least doubling weeks. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:00 Oh, all righty. On this episode, I'm going to discuss the effectiveness of the 100k Facebook group strategy. Because I've been having some interesting results, some interesting results. So that'll be super fun to talk about.Mischa Zvegintzov  00:24 (Intro) Imagine a conscious contact with God so strong, that no matter what you are doing or not doing, that no matter what your kids are up to, or )Inot up to, and then whether you've got the person of your dreams or they're just not cooperating, that you are happy content, and at peace, a space where everyone else's thoughts, attitudes and actions are beautiful, and exactly as they are supposed to be. Well, this is the space where I like to play. My name is Misha Z. And this is today's pitch slap. Join me as I shed light on the thoughts, actions and attitudes that are causing you pain. And we train our minds to go to the capital S inner self, the joy that is waiting for us that God with in.Mischa Zvegintzov  01:16 Yes, the Russell Brunson 100k Facebook group strategy to grow your audience. And I would be naive to think if Russell Brunson wasn't the only one to have the strategy. But he's where I stumbled across it. And yeah, so it's it's kind of working. But before I get to that, I just want to say that my Table Rush masterclass YouTube channel, go check it out, just Google Table Rush masterclass. And it should come up. And you can check it out there should be by the time this episode publishes a good 5, 6, 7, 8 or 9 interviews up there. But I keep getting confirmation that I am on the right track with that. So, you know, let's get back to the 100k. Cuz it could be a whole other episode. Yes, sorry, for the distraction. Since time is valuable, I'm not going to start over. But the 100k group strategy is such you find groups that you're interested in being a part of on Facebook, right? For anybody who is unaware, there's all sorts of cool Facebook groups out there on every niche, you can comprehend. Some of the groups are private. So you either need to be invited into the group, or you can ask to be invited, or you can ask for them to let you in. And some Facebook groups come with paid coaching. So perhaps you're in a paid coaching group and they have a Facebook group, stuff like that. But all sorts of different all sorts of different Facebook groups.Mischa Zvegintzov  03:39 Sorry, I'm a bit diverted. I'm an hoovering. Moms with dogs moms with kids. It's Halloween, right around the corner has ever recorded this. So we've got kids in Batman and Superman, princesses all over the place. All right, I made it through. And anyone who has a podcast or YouTube channel or a blog, a key to consistent publishing, is finding the times where you know you can you can bang out an episode. And so for me, it's when I'm walking. It's easy for me to record a podcast episode, you just get to hear my distraction as I stumble across kids.Mischa Zvegintzov  04:29 Anyhow, pick your groups. And so I've got some marketing groups. I'm interested in, obviously some Russell Brunson coaching group that I'm in small private group. I was in every kind of group. Not every kind of is that a lot of this like mindset groups, spirituality groups, you know, like Ram Das groups, when I thought I was going to be talking more and more about that and offering courses in that regard. I was in all those groups and but as I'm going a more business oriented direction, I found that those groups were you know...  the according to the 100k strategy, you get into your groups that have 100,000 people, so. And then. So preferably those groups are 25,000 each or less. So, if you found four groups of, excuse me five groups of 20,000. Now, you've got 100,000 people, each day you answer three questions within each group. So they've got to be active groups that have lots of questions, flowing through opportunities for you to comment, and add value. And then also, you do a value post. So a value posts that is just like, this is the thing that I learned today, or I'm focusing on or whatever that adds value, but doesn't request anything of the group. And then as you're doing your value posts, and answering questions, people will go, "gosh, who is this amazing person that's giving these great answers to these questions, and he was dropping these value bombs". And then they'll click on your Facebook profile. And then on your Facebook profile, it perhaps says what you does, but you do, or has cool links to all your fun stuff, then bam, you're creating free organic traffic, to your content, lead magnets, all this kind of stuff.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:04 So initially, I was more on the, like, the spiritual oriented metaphysical style groups had a lot of them. And what I found that was that a lot of the questions that were being answered were, like, dark and just stuffed it in make me feel shiny, and "yay!", right? Like, oh, my God, this is stuff that I don't want to I don't, it's not for me, right? Currently answering these questions or doing value bombs there, or what have you. So the last week, I have been cleaning up my groups, because I want to be efficient in my groups, and be in groups that I like, and that I believe I can add value in and that are fun for me. I'm all about fun. Right now. It's got to be fun of some sort. I mean, there's always can be frustration in the moment, but over arching an overarching bit of fun. I would like it to be sorry, distractions abound isn't walking more than usual today, it seems. And so it was actually a surprising amount of work leaving groups. So that was step a, leave the groups that, that I that? The interactions, I don't like the people in the group or not, for me, the questions that are being answered, I don't care about or don't inspire me to respond to, right, just cleaning it up a house cleaning. so I must have cleaned out 20 groups. That also meant now that I needed to start finding groups that I want did want to interact with. So I've been doing that and and it's more work than you might think. Cuz a lot of the public groups. It's just nonsense posts, spammers, all kinds of stuff. God bless, right, like, promoting, promote, promote. And so I'm looking for groups where I'm looking for quality interactions. So I am looking at the interactions that are happening. Is there a lot of interaction? Is it quality? are intelligent questions being answered? are intelligent questions being asked? Telogen answers. You know, like, I like the smart stuff.Mischa Zvegintzov  09:52 And there's something you know, this is just, I know where I can do well in. So that's what I'm looking for. I know who and what I want to interact with. So your person, your group, might be completely different. And that's cool. Find the groups that you can thrive in, that it's natural for you to interact with. Now, it might take some courage to start interacting, but that's alright. I mean, you got to go for it. So yes, it's been, it's been a bit more work than I anticipated. Cleaning up all the groups, joining new groups, and then leaving the groups once the private ones they let you in, and you're like, yep, not for me, leave that group. And then, of course, building the habit of answering questions and value posts. So I just want to say that, as I've been focusing on this for two or three weeks now, it started by just answering questions. It works, the process works, like I literally went from it's, it's at least 25% increase in my (sounds like an add doesnt it).  "At least 25% increase". A combination of Funnel Hacking Live, interacting with all the groups. Funnel Hacking Live group being one of them. So I got, I got to enter into that group as a result of going and it's a nice little group of a couple thousand People of like minded people... that there's a lot of interactions. So interacting in that group interacting in my coaching group interacting in a podcast group that I found.  I went from, hopefully having, you know, 300 downloads a week, to my new bar is 400. Like, I went all the sudden, I started having some 800, or 900, download weeks.  Where I'd never seen that before. And it was like, Wait a minute. So if you were to look at a graph, since Funnel Hacking live, you would see a steady increase as I've started interacting on groups that excite me. So I've got a long way to go to I get 100,000 People that I want to interact with within those groups. But per usual, as is the case was with most things. Effort!  You put the effort in, you're going to get results, and it doesn't need to be perfect effort. So I'm finding that I'll report back on further growth is that happens. I would encourage anybody that's trying to grow an audience. Start interacting with groups that you like, on Facebook. And then on your Facebook page, when people come to your page to see who is this smart person that's interacting. They can naturally click on your podcast link. I've got my podcasts like there currently.  So there you go. That's what I've got for you. This episodes stretched, a little stretched out a little bit. But pretty useful. So yes, I've been talking about changing the name of the podcast to Table Rush, because my new avatar, who's smart, by the way, thank you Waylon. The way he framed that, go back and listen to the previous episode. At the end, oh, my goodness, life is fun. I am so lucky to be able to do this. And have fun. Thank you for listening. So where did I end up with? What was happening with the podcast? My idea was to just rename this existing podcast to Table Rush and do a rebrand of it. Perhaps and and then people could see the journey with the podcast so it wouldn't be starting a brand new podcast and and I have been interviewing, doing these new interviews for Table Rush. So the Table Rush masterclass is table rush masterclass where we get back to the sales and marketing basics to help you get your company to $1 million and beyond. It's the new vision. And so I've got, you know, for episodes for interviews done as I record this episode right now.Mischa Zvegintzov 02:16 And as I have been doing some meditating and trying to align with source, as I co create with the universe, co create with God. I'm just gonna go ahead and say it, I've won't be bashful with it, right? Like, I'm trying to co create with God right now people. So one of the prayers I'm doing within that is "today, I will make no decisions by myself." "Today, I will make no decisions by myself." I believe I've talked about this idea on the previous episode. But basically, it just means like, try I'm working very hard to be co creating with God, my higher power source, the capital S inner self, the big self, not the egoic small self. And, and that so trying to work from that space, it's been very effective. And since some and so some awareness I got in that regard, strategically to move forward. Well, basically was this, like, Well, gosh, I need if I renamed the podcast. There's this RSS feed and there's the original, like, what's effect the.com name of the thing that's tied to the RSS feed this is all technobabble doesn't matter what it means is that it keeps the original Bitch Slap ...he Accelerated Path To Peace! moniker. Although that the title you would see might be different when you click on the link, you know, just the old Bitch Slap stuff, which is cool. And I love and I was like, gosh, I'm gonna need to recreate new intros and outros and the music and, and get new artwork for this rebranding. Excuse me, and I've got other stuff going on. And I actually don't even currently want to, I know how to find the who's to do it. But I don't even want to do that at the moment. And so I was like, at the same time in the back of my mind for a while. I've been wanting to create a YouTube channel.Mischa Zvegintzov 04:55 Because Because I'm like I need to I'm a personality. On camera and the people I interview show it when you interview them on camera, you can see their personality and that can be a fun way to see the content. So I've been very much wanting to start start a YouTube channel.  And I didn't necessarily just want to do like the Bitch Slap podcast YouTube channel or wasn't inspired to and then all the sudden I was like wait a minute just go create the Bitch Slap Master or the excuse me the Table Rush Masterclass Podcast and channel and then you're good to go. And it all came together really quick. Like oh my gosh, I could literally I just went and created that channel about two seconds. And I've already got four so interviews I can start posting right away like it's so easy. I don't have to create intros, outros music, graphics, anything yet. I could literally just start posting the videos up there the interviews and get after it. And then I was like, hey, you know what a good idea is and we'll see if this happens. By the time this episode comes out, perhaps this will be happening. But the YouTube masterclass would... I could literally just say something like this. If you want to hear more of my daily musings, go over to the Bitch Slap, Bitch Slap ...Accelerated Path To Peace podcast, here's the link. And then on the podcast side, I could say hey, if you want to see any of these interviews moving forward. if you would like to watch them, instead of just listen to them. You can watch them over on the master class on the Table Rush Master Class YouTube channel, Geez Louise.Mischa Zvegintzov 07:24 And I'm thinking like yes, that's awesome that so that's what I'm going to do as I record this that's what I'm going to do. Some people might think that's a great idea. Some people might think it's a bad idea. more will be revealed. Sometimes you just got to go for it. And that's the path of least resistance. And right now that's what I need the path of least resistance. And I guess that's the path of least resistance. And I am wanting to my goal with this episode is to keep you engaged, keep you abreast of the journey and what I'm thinking so you can be along the ride with me on a more deeper level. Right like the shift is definitely going towards the business side of things but fully bring in the spiritual message. you know, co creation with the universe co creating with God all that stuff, all the spiritual tips and tricks that I do. Yeah, so I'm super excited. That's where we're headed. And hopefully, if you like, if you want to watch, watch an interview, go over to the Table Rush Master Class YouTube channel, the link will be in this episode. Where there we go. Now I've given myself a hard stop date or a hard start date. What is that? And if you want to hear my daily musings will just stay on listening to the podcast, and by all means do both. Alright. Believe I've covered everything. Love to all. Thank you for listening

First a quick pitch for you to BUY the SHURE MV88 MIC!  And then the rest of the story of Waylon and his homework.  That was hitting bottom for me with my remaining bits of anger.  I couldn't yell at him anymore over homework.  If I lost that edge, how was I going to be able to have success at work?  I leaned on that aggressive side.  It's all a bit melodramatic.Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:01 Walking and recording with my shirt, MV88. Mike, I sure do start a lot of episodes this way. And I'm going to encourage any of you fledgling content producers get you're sure. And v 88. Mike. So you can have about the best, high quality sound, the easiest when you walk out your door, I keep seeing how a lot of fledgling content producers are like, it's so hard to find the time to do it. Well, if you get yourself the Shure MV88 mic, and are willing to record when you're driving, or you're walking, or I don't know, when you have alone time, I will get off my soapbox.Mischa Zvegintzov  01:08 This episode, I'm going to talk about the rest of the story with... I was just editing up and putting the episodes on where I was talking about anger. That like subversive, covert anger that can be hiding within us, causing us issues in our lives. So I was going to talk the rest of the story about that. And specifically, the rest of the story in regards to Waylon and the homework. Right, like that was hitting bottom for me with some of that remaining. You know, anger, demand for respect, that kind of stuff where the punishment didn't fit the crime. And I got tired of overreacting at my kids, for seemingly, you know, in hindsight, irrelevant stuff. And and I had said, you know, it was when Waylon was, I had told him, and I remember it clear as a day. I was having the conversation with him yet again. Waylon, I will not overreact. I will help you get your homework done. I won't fight with you. Like, there won't be tears. And one final time. It happened again. I just want a hug. By the way, that was the second or third time that he we had been through that scenario where he was like, just give me a hug, like Stop yelling, stop freaking out effectively. Or, like, I need a hug. You know, I need some love here. And I looking back on that. God bless him for being willing to ask for that. And also, God bless me for being willing in that moment to have that jolt me out of the, you know, the ANGRY DAD mode in regards to homework. and to just like, be like, Yeah, you know what, okay, it's okay. I love you. It's okay. We don't have to fight anymore. That's really what it was right?Mischa Zvegintzov  03:46 Thank God, I can laugh about it now. Thank God, I could laugh about it now. And him too. It's funny, because I was telling him the story. So there's two parts of the rest of the story. First part of the rest of the story. And this is good. And it's really juicy. Hold on one second. I'm going across some traffic. Alright, and survived. Wow. People were coming in hot. No quarter. So you know, I had moved this girlfriend in, we'd bought a house together, actually. And she thought I was wonderful. And I am wonderful. But at the time, she's like, Oh, this man's wonderful, right? So I move her in, we buy this house. And then I start helping Waylon with his homework when we're having family time. And her and her two daughters are around and she sees the dark side of the meesh come out. And she's like, whoa, like, whoa. And I remember that actually. That was that that that time that look of like, of like, she was like, I've never seen this side of you. Right. And usually it didn't come out for a couple of homework, or customer service phone calls, if I had to call the call tree, call the bank or something. And I'm sure it came out other ways as well with towards employees who I had a team at the time, or somewhere around there. But anyway, you get what I'm saying. And I was like, I had the stark awareness that what many people saw of me, on the outside world, that part of me did not match up with what was happening behind closed doors. I felt like, right, like, this woman who loved me, and moved in with me, was surprised when she saw that, which to me meant that if anybody else in the outside world of my relationships, friends would see that, that would be like, Well, wait a minute. Like, there's a dark side there, you know. And, and, yeah, so I was telling the story to somebody today, and I finally for whatever reason had the vulnerability or the memory to be like, oh, yeah, well, the rest of the story is, is this girl moved in with me? And she kind of was like, Oh, shit, right. Like, I've never seen the side of him.Mischa Zvegintzov  06:40 Anyway, I maybe may sound a little bit melodramatic and, and all that. But that was the catalyst for Misha wanting to change, and, like, shed that part of me. And, you know, that was a part of me, that gave me an edge at work. And I needed to let it go. And I was like, Damn, if I lose that edge, that sort of aggressive edge, how am I gonna find success? And as I said that right now, you know, that's what's that's kind of what's happening. I'm on learning how to find success. On the other side of that. sustained financial success. Again, it's a bit melodramatic, but I think you get what I'm saying.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:30 As I'm someone I know, just said hi. As often happens, um, he's like, Hey, Robert Plant, I want your autograph. Because my hair is in full Robert Plant mode right now.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:44 So yeah, I get to bring my new my new awareness, a, and a different motivation into the business world as I'm creating business stuff. Okay. The second point was that I was talking to Whalen, and I was writing out an avatar. Right? We all want to know our perfect customer. So we can visualize that and market to that and who we feel like we can help the best who we want to help. So it's win win for everybody. And I had written down smart, written down smart. I seem to be no judgment here. Like maybe experience is a better word. But whatever smart, I'd written down smart on my perfect person, right smart, along with some other things. And I was showing Waylon, and I'm like, hey, we'll check out the perfect avatar. And he was he was laughing and giggling about it is like, Oh, you have a smart he goes, Yeah, I remember when you used to yell at me. He goes, That makes a lot of sense about the homework, because that was that was not smart. And I was like, Oh my God, it was so funny. The way he related it. He was like, he's like, yeah, man, you would you were frustrated because I couldn't do it at the level that you wanted me to yet. And I was like, oh, yeah, that's a great way to frame it Waylon. I was like son of a gun. You're right. Like, part of my frustration was that we Yeah, was that you weren't grasping it? Like I wanted you to and that. In hindsight, looking back on a lot of my interactions is... I do better when someone's more experienced. How's that? Or smart, whatever. Feel like I'm digging a deep deep hole. May this episode never see the light of day.Mischa Zvegintzov  10:05 Alright that's the soccer families love to all well actually the wrap up so we I told you the rest of the story about my dark realization... the dark day when I realized oh yeah I need to change and have my outside world match up with behind closed doors world. and then the bits about Waylon and smart the smart avatar anyway, I'm done hole is dug deep enough bye.

Bitch Slap ...The Accelerated Path to Peace!

So I've had the epiphany that telling certain types of stories will attract a certain audience.  In this case I'm thinking strictly men or women.  So I give it a go and dig into my repertoire of man-centric stories laced with adventure, risk, accidents, and stitches!  To test the theory and see if they attract a more male audience.  The good news, being a clumsy A type adrenaline junky…  I have stacks of them.  I offer up just a few recent ones. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:00 All right. All right. All right. All right. If you listened to the last episode, you heard my epiphany about telling different style parables to reach different segments of your audience. So I've got an audience of entrepreneurs I'm trying to hit of both men and women. And so far I've been mostly adept at attracting the female audience, I believe, to the type of stories I've been telling. And so on this episode, I'm going to tell my first calculated story, strategic strategically tailored for the man segment of the audience, enjoy.Mischa Zvegintzov  00:49 (Intro)Imagine a conscious contact with God so strong, that no matter what you are doing, or not doing, that, no matter what your kids are up to, or not up to, and that whether you've got the person of your dreams or they're just not cooperating, that you are happy content, and at peace, a space where everyone else's thoughts, attitudes and actions are beautiful, and exactly as they are supposed to be. Well, this is the space where I like to play. My name is Misha Z. And this is today's pitch slap. Join me as I shed light on the thoughts, actions and attitudes that are causing you pain and we train our minds to go to the capital S inner self the joy that is waiting for us that God within. (End Intro)Mischa Zvegintzov  01:41 Alright, so here we go. A man tailor and story to target but the the male segment of my audience.  How amazing is this? Thank you Russell Brunson and the universe for this insight. But I had this realization as I was walking today and pulled out my Shure MV88 mic because when inspiration strikes, I like to have the best toys to record. Hint, hint. Get yourself an Shure VM88 mic. So hopefully, loud skateboarders. Okay, I made it past the relatively loud segment of skateboarders.  Where was I? A man tale to meet the man segment of the audience. So I had this total awesome realization. I was like, I this is one thing about me. I love adventure. I love trying new things. I'm a process guy. So I love learning the process. And, and if I learn the process, and I'm still interested after that's like a win win, because oftentimes, once I have the process mastered, I get bored, and walk away or not walk away, just go find a new process to master. And so I'm a bit of a, I have been historically a bit of an adrenaline junkie too, and just physically capable enough to really get myself in trouble and acquire scars and stitches. And I realized that as a hit hit 53...Mischa Zvegintzov  03:37 Whoa kids flying by on their bikes, their E bikes that don't care about walking, dads, nor stop signs. Oh my gosh, it's busy intersection. I apologize.Mischa Zvegintzov  03:53 Anyhow. Like, I don't I used to like... the the the the emergency room on Santa Fe Street and Encinitas. Like they know me by name, right. I've been in there more than a few times to get stitches on my arm on my head. Multiple times stitches removed from my cheek one time because I got stitches in frickin in and in Fiji multiple times. They're like, Oh, Misha, what's happening? And this could be surfing, mountain biking.  Skiing.  I was skiing a few years ago and by the grace of God, I didn't hurt myself. But oftentimes when I ski, especially if there's powder, I have this false sense of security of fluffy really hard to get hurt. And and so I'm skiing This is an Alta Utah, which is skier only and I wish I could remember that face that I was going down because it's a really good one full of shoots... and and I find this the end of day, untracked shoot, it's dumping Alta is amazing too. And so it's just dumping. And I'm like, trying to pick out the line. Keep in mind, I'm 50 years old, right? And I'm not sure if at 50 It's the wisest to be trying to figure out how to learn new shoot line techniques, especially when you're by yourself. That's the other thing I was by myself. And so I'm like, oh, yeah, fly. out, turn here, turn here, hop this rock here. You know, air, air, little air off a cliff. Bam, easy peasy, right? And I visualize it, because that's a great thing to do. Anybody who's in sports knows that visualize your turns, and then it's much easier to execute.Mischa Zvegintzov  06:08 So visualize the line, give it a go. And then basically come too... after egg beater. Anybody who's egg beater in skiing knows what that is. And one of my skis. And thank God, I had the powder, the powder, the powder, cord, you know, so when your ski flies off, and that's a 10 foot florecent and trailer. So you can find the ski because it floats above the powder. And so I'm looking everywhere for my ski and it's like, way down the mountain. And I'm like, Did I break my back? Did I dislocate a knee? Like I had a serious moment of concern of like, "holy crap, I'm lucky I did not. I did not do serious damage." Another time. Mammoth love skiing mammoth. In California so with all this skiing again, last 5 - 10 years, mammoth skiing by myself, again, do a hip check. Beginning of the year, bunch of snow.  Do like a little launch hip check.  Keep in mind, this is 50 year old man launch hip check. So this is nothing extreme. And like I just miss a big, barely covered log with my hip when I did the hip check. And I had the stark realization of like, "god dammit, there I... there I go again, you know."  Just a little bit of a risk taker and pushing the envelope. After promising myself I won't push the envelope yet again,Mischa Zvegintzov  07:51 and... hold on traffic...Mischa Zvegintzov  08:02 So I survived that. So fast forward. The last couple of years, I have not felt the urge to ski. So last year, and coming up on this year, so year and a half a year, really last last fall. And this fall. So the last year and coming into this fall, I'm like yeah, you know, kinda over it. I'm kind of have a hard time not pushing the envelope. I kind of have a hard time just gracefully, shushing and enjoying the moment.  Got to push the envelope. Gosh, it sure is interesting that the overpowering urge to ski and have that adventure has been quelled. And I was like, Oh my gosh, it's because the business side of me is just flourishing right now. And sort of that risky adventure learning process is just, it's in full effect. I'm experiencing it, experiencing it just in a creative aspect of, of building, you know, an online business. And it's awesome, right. So I'm getting to learn new processes all over the place. And I also see that there's processes to master but there's plenty of processes waiting in the wings. So that's awesome.Mischa Zvegintzov  09:46 And then, you know, a little bit of risk reward. Like there's so there's some of that intellectual adrenaline happening, you know, financial risk reward, stuff like that. And then it's also serving my need to serve. Like being of service is such a big, big part of my life.  My credo.  My daily you know, spiritual routine is based on "How can I be of service? What can I bring to the table?" And so currently, all those things are being satisfied right now. It's like no wonder I've, I've got no need to prove myself on the ski slope.  To prove myself in the hot yoga room. Right? to push the envelope physically to be the most flexible, stiff 50 year old man.  You know, sold the mountain bikes...  You know what else even I have an E bike, which I freaking love. Because it's so fast. And you can push the envelope, weave in and out of traffic, and kind of be cool. So letting you into the, to the deeper recesses of what drives me sometimes. Thank you for listening. The need to haul ass on my E bike has been quelled to.  I'm like "What's the common denominator denominator here?" Well, one is age. definite maturity.  emotional maturity. Definite like no more need to have stitches or the risk reward of having stitches is no longer worth the adrenaline shot of whatever I'm doing? What else was that gonna say? I don't know. I think you get the picture. But there you go. There's my manly leaning story. And I hope all you men enjoy that. And some of you ladies too. And I don't know. I'm done. Practicing trying out my theory, expanding my story repertoire to reach different segments of my audience. peace out.Mischa Zvegintzov  12:26 (Outro)  Thank you. Thank you. And right now, I would like to introduce to you Dawson Church, PhD. I'm so excited to have you on board. We just had an amazing moment, a big breath of joy, and hope for this for everybody. But a... Quick, I'm gonna read your bio if that's okay.0:00:28.6 Dawson Church: Go for it. And I hope everyone is breathing with us.0:00:32.2 MZ: Yes. Yes.[laughter]0:00:36.3 MZ: So good. All right. Fantastic. Dawson Church, PhD is an award-winning science writer with three best-selling books to your credit. The Genie in Your Genes was the first book to demonstrate that emotions drive gene expression. You can find that book at www.yourgeniusgene.com. We've got, Mind to Matter, showed that the brain creates much of what we think of as objective reality. You can find that at www.mindtomatter.com, and we've got Bliss Brain, which you can find at www.blissbrain.com, which we'll be discussing in a minute. Very excited for that. Which demonstrates that peak mental states rapidly remodel the brain for happiness. You have conducted dozens of clinical trials and founded the National Institute for Integrative Healthcare, niih.org, to promote groundbreaking new treatments. Its largest program, the Veterans Stress Project, has offered free treatment to over 20,000 veterans with PTSD over the last decade. Thank you so much for that. And you share how to apply these health and performance breakthroughs through EFT Universe at eftuniverse.com. One of the largest alternative medicine sites on the web. Welcome, Dawson Church.0:02:09.8 DC: I'm having fun doing it all, Mischa.0:02:12.1 MZ: I'm having fun doing it all.[laughter]0:02:13.8 MZ: I love it. That is so... Yes, so good and so powerful. I just watch... I'm looking over here 'cause I have another screen but watching some of your content and just your joy and your enthusiasm and your passion for life. It is infectious. And I have a note here, "learned." We can learn this, learned happiness.0:02:38.7 DC: Learned happiness. Absolutely. And it's like, use it or lose it and the neural circuits that we use the most, the habits and behaviors through which we send signals through our brain, those things are what grow and circuits we don't use shrink. So absolutely, we can learn these things as we practice them. Our bodies, our brains are literally changing with every thought in our minds and consciousness.0:03:03.9 MZ: Yes. Which I think is so hopeful. If we are willing to just take a little bit of positive action, the results can be massive. Before we get to that, however, I wanted to discuss... I wrote down some notes. You were asked to speak before Congress a couple of times, correct?0:03:25.4 DC: Yes.0:03:26.1 MZ: And did you actually do... Go ahead, tell me.0:03:29.1 DC: Well, it was exciting because I've been to Washington DC several times. And when I began to get reports back from therapists working with veterans coming back from Iraq and Afghanistan, and they said, "We're working with these veterans spending just a few sessions, five, 10 sessions with them. And they're recovering from flashbacks, nightmares, PTSD." I was like... I was pretty skeptical because that's a big claim. And the American Psychiatric Association had just commissioned a survey which showed that basically PTSD just gets worse over time. Maybe you can manage it with drugs. That's the best you can do. So I heard these accounts, then we had to actually put some numbers to them and do some pilot research on the methods these therapists were using. And it was true that veterans really were recovering really quickly using these advanced psychotherapeutic methods. And so we eventually got that work in front of several Senators and Congress members.0:04:25.7 DC: We then were able to advocate for them in Congress. And then, I was invited to testify before the House Armed Services Committee and the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. And those are powerful moments to sit there in this room full of Members of Congress and share about the potential of these methods and then really see if we can get these to veterans who are suffering. And that was a really profound experience. And what I found is that we have these tools now in our hands, in our toolboxes. And it's true that we really can shift most cases of PTSD. About nine out of 10 is what research shows us most cases of anxiety and depression. And after six, seven, eight sessions, these veterans just leave their therapy sessions, and they're free of flashbacks and nightmares, intrusive thoughts, all of the other things that would have otherwise have bothered them the rest of their lives. So, it's amazing to watch that happen.0:05:21.3 MZ: Yeah, that's incredible, I think. Well, two things, one, the palpable experience of the energy in front of when you're testifying, I guess testifying sounds aggressive, but when you're having an opportunity to speak to the... What did you call it? The joint say it again. The Joint Commissioner, what...0:05:45.8 DC: Yeah, the Veterans Affairs Committee and the Armed Services Committee.0:05:48.7 MZ: Yes. Yeah, yeah, yeah. So did you feel a palpable energy shift of awareness with these Senators and things? I'm looking for some visceral experience there.0:06:01.5 DC: You know, it's really interesting question, Mischa. And one of the things that I found interesting was that what made the most impact on the Members of Congress was the stories of veterans themselves. Like we had one Vietnam veteran, and he said he was due to have six sessions. After the first session, he emailed his therapist and said, "After that very first session with you, I got my first full night's sleep since Vietnam, 35 years earlier." And so, the members of Congress would hear from veterans.0:06:37.2 DC: Another veteran was a young veteran. He'd done four tours in Iraq. And he had this terrible PTSD, nightmares, and flashbacks. Because one of the first things he had to do when he got there... Almost immediately, he arrived in Iraq as a medic, one of his best friends was killed. And one of his jobs is he had to prepare the uniform of his dead friend to send back to the family in the US with all the other personal effects. And so this young man was so traumatized, remembering, having to clean the blood and body fluids off the uniform. And it also smelled really bad because it'd been sitting in the Iraqi sun for a few days. And he literally had to run outside the hut, take a deep breath of air, run back inside, do a little bit of cleaning, run back outside just to breathe. 'Cause, it smelled so bad in there. So here he was. His emotions were 10 out of 10 as he recalled that event. After we worked with him in just one session, he was at a zero. He had no more emotion around it. He had only positive feelings. He said, "You know that, I realize now that was an act of love. And I felt now the love that I was giving his family and him by that act of service."0:07:47.6 DC: And so it shifted in his mind. So when you've seen, as you mentioned, over 20,000 veterans have this experience and a randomized controlled trial shows that these effects are true for most people, it just affects you profoundly. And that's what we thought made the biggest impact on those Senators, and Congress Members was that when they heard stories by real people, it was even more impactful than the research numbers data.0:08:13.3 MZ: Thank you so much for sharing that. I mean, I love that. I... Obviously circumstance to get there, not so excited about. But the result and the service aspect of that too. So for yourself...0:08:26.8 DC: Yeah, we all have stuff leftover from our past Mischa, we all have stuff leftover from our past, like childhood, really experiences that will otherwise stay with us. And so when you see people shed these past burdens of trauma and then claim the lives they can live, it's just powerful.0:08:44.1 MZ: It's amazing. I was gonna ask. I imagined seeing that again and again, and to be a part of that and to be able to be a part of that and help grow that is just gotta be insanely gratifying.0:09:00.2 DC: They call it a job.[laughter]0:09:03.7 MZ: Oh my gosh.[chuckle]0:09:06.2 DC: It's not hard work. It's wonderful.0:09:08.4 MZ: Thank you.0:09:08.4 DC: It also really works for you because when you're helping people heal like that, we call it... There's a term for it. We call it "borrowing benefits." And you literally, as you work with other people, seeing them heal, it heals you as well.0:09:20.0 MZ: That's beautiful. And then I think, I am... As I was digging and looking, and I'm like the amount of hours that you have put into this. And I say that in a good way, just in a massive way. I wrote down, "How many hours do you think you've put into this?"0:09:41.6 DC: No, it's a bad way, Mischa. When I was 15 years old, when I was a teenager, I was so depressed, I was so anxious. I had all the symptoms of PTSD myself; flashbacks, intrusive thoughts, hyper-vigilance. And so, I just fled into a spiritual community when I was 15 to try and get over my own inner demons. And I then spent... What I write about in... There's a section of my book, Bliss Brain. It's called "From 50 Years to 50 Seconds." And it took me 50 years to figure out how the brain works, how the neurochemistry of all this works. How our genes are being affected epigenetically by these positive and negative experiences, how we can use these methods for healing.0:10:26.2 DC: And then what I've been doing for the last few years is hooking people up to EEGs. And so we literally read their brain information processing ability and how their brains are running information, especially when they think about trauma or think about bad events in their lives. And we found that now within four minutes or so, we can bring people from that intense emotionally triggered state back down to deep peace, inner calm. And we had one lady in our seven-day retreat. By the end of the seven days of practicing these methods, she was down to 47 seconds between sitting down, closing her eyes, entering that state. And in 47 seconds, under 50 seconds, she was having a full-blown mystical, elevated what we call the awakened mind, Bliss Brain experience. So we now have figured out, with the aid of neuroscience, how to train people into doing this, not 50 years like me, but 50 seconds. [chuckle] 50 seconds or less.[chuckle]0:11:30.8 MZ: You know what? Thank you for taking the pain, Dawson.[laughter]0:11:35.9 DC: Don't do what I do... Did. Go to an ashram and sit there for 10 years, trying to control your breathing and your thoughts. It won't work.[chuckle]0:11:43.6 MZ: It's so good. I don't wanna give away the ghost here, and we're gonna get to this in a second. But I took a couple of notes, some other notes, and one was, "Remodel your brain in as little as eight weeks," but... Or no buts, but... And then this other part, "It's important to turn those temporary states into long term enduring traits." Turn a state into a trait. And when I came across where you said that, I was like, "That is awesome." And so we can... Let me... Go ahead. You can say something to that if you want. But...0:12:26.0 DC: Yeah, that really is the goal here on meditation, of EFT acupressure tapping, of the various other techniques I advocate in my books. And what you wanna do is not have a temporary state of wellbeing. 'Cause it feels good to feel good, and it feels good to be happy. It feels good to be content and have inner peace. But it's a state, and it'll pass. And then you hear some bad news. You stub your leg on a piece of furniture. You have a financial reverse. And suddenly you lose your state. And so those states are nice, but they're just transient. What you wanna do is fire those neurons repeatedly over and over and over again. And then as your neural bundles get bigger and thicker, and research shows that in just one hour of repeat stimulation, that the number of synaptic connections in a neural bundle can double. So, you can double the number of connections in a neural bundle in an hour. So now you're turning the software of a state into the hardware of a trait. And then you are not just feeling happy, sometimes, you are a happy person. You aren't just feeling creative, sometimes, you are a creative person. So you've now got the trait of creativity, the trait of resilience, the trait of joy, and then no one could take that away from you because it's hard-wired into your brain.0:13:48.6 MZ: Love that. That's a vision of hope. That is so good. Thank you for that. Alright, let's get to the good, good stuff. I'm gonna pose a scenario to you and then ask you a question. Okay? Fantastic. So, given this scenario, think of life as a three-legged stool of relationships, finances, and health. And now think of someone who is or was successful and who has had two of those legs fall out from under them. This could be a combination of divorce, career upheaval, financial stress, kids acting out, or not going the direction that the parents want. It could be physical health challenges for themselves or a loved one. Maybe a death in the family and continued failed relationships. For me, it was divorce. My kids started to veer a little bit, I felt. Like career upheaval. And then both my parents died in rapid succession. It really shook some foundations that I had. And to top it off, my "pull myself up from my bootstraps" mentality, that "fix it or push my way through it," was no longer working. I needed some new tools. And by the grace of God, I was open to some new tools. So, this is my question to you. Thinking of your Bliss Brain work and your book, what are the exact next steps you would offer this person, so they know they are headed in the new right direction, that they will have positive momentum towards getting their life back on track.0:15:38.9 DC: This is gonna sound really counterintuitive and odd. [chuckle] But it starts with self-acceptance. And self-love and accepting yourself just the way you are. And if circumstances; the way they are. And research into healing shows that acceptance is where you have to start. Like... I'm trying to think of a good example to use here. There are a whole bunch of them, they are crowding together in my brain, to mention. But when you have multiple challenges like that, just breathing and remaining centered and accepting and loving yourself is the first thing. In your loss, in your confusion, in your difficulty, and it's hard to be in that state, and yet, if you're trying to get out of it, if you're trying to... Now, you said, "pushing my way through." That works up to a point until it doesn't. [chuckle] So the first thing is just love and compassion. Just self-love, self-compassion.0:16:38.0 DC: The phrase we use in EFT acupressure tapping is, "Even though I have this problem, I deeply and completely love and accept myself." And that's really reassuring to you when you hear that when we're working, say, with a man who is 200 pounds overweight. Now, the last thing he wants to accept is being 200 pounds overweight. And yet, if we can train him to love and accept himself in that state, that unlocks all of the tension in the psyche between the part of yourself that's the inner coach, inner critique, inner CEO saying, "You should lose weight, you should quit smoking, you shouldn't drink so much, you should eat healthy, you should take more vacations, you should just save more money, blah, blah, blah, bloody blah." It's just yelling at us all the time, and that top-dog coercive inner voice is just keeping the energy pattern of what we've got going on, stuck and in place. And the moment you relax and say, "You know, I just accept myself the way I am."0:17:40.5 DC: We did an MRI study, some colleagues made an MRI study of obese women. Women who are overweight. When they put them in the MRI and showed them images of chocolate cake, and strawberry pie, and vanilla ice cream, and all these things, their mid-brains, their limbic system, the emotional part of the brain, was totally lit up. In other words, they weren't seeing food as food or nutrients. They were seeing food as a highly emotional event. After those five or six sessions of these simple therapies, we put them back in the MRI. They were getting exposed to all those emotive images, and they had no response at all. In fact, the guy running the MRI, the neuroscientist, said to my colleague, "What have you done to these women that they just have no emotional response to food anymore?"0:18:31.2 DC: So again, now they don't have that huge emotional response, and they love and accept themselves the way they are. Then all of the energy that's trapped in that top dog-underdog kind of struggle, "You should fix yourself, you should improve, you should be better." And underdog saying, "Oh yes, I will, top dog, I will improve, I will quit smoking, blah, blah, blah." And then underdog runs out behind the shed when top dog's back is turned and smokes the cigarette. And so, all of the tension behind these weird psychological struggles is just removed when you love and accept yourself. So love and acceptance is the first step. So that's number one. Accepting where you are, and admitting it, and acknowledging it just as a fact, and then you look at what you can do to shift and then you practice it.0:19:20.6 MZ: Now I can't over-stress the value of practice. What I try and do in my own work, so I try to get people addicted. So I wanna get them addicted to their own dopamine, serotonin, anandamide, oxytocin, nitric oxide all these wonderful neuro chemicals that happen in your brain spontaneously when you meditate and when you do that, people have a habit of meditating, so if I can get people hooked one time on high serotonin, high dopamine then they'll stay hooked and they'll keep on meditating so I can't over-stress the importance of getting yourself addicted to the right stuff to meditation, and then day after day, you meditate, and within a month, our MRI research shows your brain patterns are already changing. Your brain, the way your brain processes information is already shifting, and then you start to turn those temporary states into traits. And that's the value of practice. It doesn't take long. In one MRI study, it took just 30 days of practice 20 minutes a day, and people's brains were processing information totally differently.0:20:33.1 MZ: That's amazing. Can I ask you, what I wanna ask you and I look at... And I was checking out your Bliss Brain book and such. You say you teach seven simple steps. Is this part of that? Is this literally part of what we're talking about right here?0:20:49.8 DC: Yeah. That technique is called Eco-meditation. E-C-O meditation and is just a seven-step process, we do the acupressure, we do mindful breathing, we do a little bit of self-hypnosis, we do heart coherence, and we do neuro-feedback all in a certain order, and there's seven of these things we practice... And when you do that, suddenly you just, your brain flips into ecstasy with its elevated emotional state, no 10,000 hours, no spiritual master, no special training, no spiritual belief required. You can be an atheist. [laughter] You can be Jewish, you can be episcopalian you can be anything and it's just gonna work, it's a mechanical neurological event you're triggering in your body and you feel great.0:21:35.5 MZ: Okay, fantastic, fantastic. I didn't mean... Alright, I was just curious. So we'll go back to the self-acceptance, what you can do to shift, so that would be like in this particular case, it sounds like meditation would be a specific tool you're talking about, but it could be many different things for somebody.0:21:56.3 DC: In my earlier book, Mind Matter, I list about 30 things you can do, there's grounding, there's time in nature, social support, but two I recommend though that are fundamental and easy, one Mischa is that style meditation that puts you in those elevated emotional states and doing it first thing in the morning. That's a number one, and that's I think should be universal, just the benefits. One of my doctor friends said, "If meditation were a drug, it would be medical malpractice to fail to prescribe it." [laughter] So it's just the foundation as a frame for a good life. So you wanna do it in the morning, doesn't have to be an hour or two hours, half an hour is plenty. And then if you use a guided meditation that'll guide you into that elevated state. And then the second thing I recommend as having everyone should have this in their Personal Growth Tool Kit is EFT acupressure tapping, that's just somebody tapping on a series of 13 acupressure points.0:23:03.4 DC: It regulates the body's energy, that's what helped those women get over their emotional attachment and projection to food. So you wanna get over your high cortisol, you wanna get over your stress and EFT within two minutes, it'll just crash your cortisol, crash your adrenalin, your level of all of these stress neurotransmitters and hormones will go way, way, way down. And then all kinds of beneficial things increase including immunity and cell repair, all kinds of good things go up when those molecules become available to your body for building healthy cells. So those are the two things I think that are great, then layer in time in nature and layer in a spiritual practice, layer in... There's a wonderful medieval term called lectio divina reading inspirational material, fill your mind with this stuff, don't fill your mind with all the crap in the mass media and whatever you do, don't turn on your phone and start looking at it first thing in the morning when you wake up because you're gonna get then stuck in the lateral level of everything going on in the world, which is not in your best interest, instead, orient yourself meditation to what I call in my books, non-local mind and non-local reality in meditation, and then you can deal with the world through the framing of being one with the universe.0:24:20.3 DC: But that's the order to do it in. Hook up to the universe, then deal with the outside world, don't open your eyes and look at your phone and get sucked into the outside world and then try and meditate because you've blown it at that point, and it's hard to get back to that good space.0:24:35.0 MZ: Too little too late.0:24:36.6 DC: Oh, yes.0:24:37.6 MZ: Yes. I love meditation myself. I have had a committed practice for a while, and so I think it's so, so powerful, and I think oftentimes the results are evident later, or I'll notice too, just getting that nice breathing going even with the monkey mind, it's almost like the monkey mind is irrelevant, but...0:25:03.6 DC: It is.0:25:03.7 MZ: Yeah. Just carrying that nice breath, that connection to the universe you're talking about through the day is... Before you look at the phone is so good. Thank you for that.0:25:15.5 DC: And you're right about the monkey mind being irrelevant because we can't still our minds, we can't quiet our minds, our brains were meant to be highly active and highly involved with everything around us, think about... I was just thinking about just the ancestors, and I was going down a path in the forest near me a couple of days ago, and there was a stick lying in the path, and I thought, "You know my ancestors 100,000 years ago, when they see us that long brown skinny thing lying on the path. It might be a snake." So the optimist says, "Oh no, it's a stick. It's fine." And 99 times out of a 100, 100,000 years ago, it was a stick and nothing bad happened. The pessimist is seeing every stick and saying, "It's a snake. It's gonna bite me."0:26:00.2 MZ: Yes.0:26:00.8 DC: And so the pessimist is... The one time it is a snake, the pessimist says, "You see? It was a snake. It didn't bite me because I was so paranoid and suspicious, and now I'm safe." The optimist, unfortunately, at one time in a 100 gets bitten and dies. So he gets weeded from the gene pool, and only the pessimist lives to perpetuate his genes to the next generation. Multiply this by 10,000 generations and you have you, Mischa and me Dawson. And we are capable of the monkey mind like you wouldn't believe. Always looking around for the baddest stuff in our environment. We've just been bred that way for tens and of thousands of generations. And now we sit there and close our eyes and try and be happy? [laughter] Isn't gonna happen. [laughter]0:26:45.7 MZ: Oh, my God. That's amazing. Okay, so then you said... What can we do to shift? You have, in your book, one of your books, which you referenced, you've got 30 great tools, but start with the some sort of meditation and some EFT style of tapping in and then layer in more as time goes by. And then practice, so practice, practice. Find some consistency, yes?0:27:18.9 DC: Build those neural bundles, turn those states to traits, and that's what consistency will do. So then when one or more of the legs of your stool is gone, you're still totally serene, have total inner peace, and you have something that outside tragedy can't take away. You've now built the neural wiring or resilience in your brain, and that's just who you are. So when the pandemic strikes, when the economic crash happens, when you get divorced, when your kids are acting out, you are this highly resilient person. The research that I cover in both Bliss Brain and Mind to Matter shows that not only are you that person during meditation. Research by a wonderful neuro-scientist called Teresa Amabile at Harvard shows you reach that state mentally for that 30 minutes or so in the morning... Meditation, flow states, they then perpetuate themselves for 48 hours of increased productivity, creativity and problem solving ability.0:28:22.9 DC: And in one US government study, they showed that people in those states have five times the ability to solve complex problems. So now, even if you have had two of the three supports, legs knocked off out from under your stool, you have five times the ability to solve complex problems. You are gonna can put your stool back together again far quicker than somebody who doesn't have those. And in fact, there is this whole field, I talk about in Bliss Brain called post-traumatic growth. Not only do you wind up okay, you wind up better. You've actually used disaster as a springboard for personal transformation, so that's the potential of that practice.0:29:05.0 MZ: Yeah, fantastic. I love that. So many cool thoughts just were going through my brain as you were talking about that. And now they've all escaped me, but they will come back to me in a second, I'm sure. So after practice, was there anything else or were you... I don't mean to cut you off with the sort of the steps.0:29:31.5 DC: Yeah. So self-love, practice, at least, meditation and learn tapping, 'cause tapping takes you all of two minutes to learn. Takes you all of 30 seconds to do, and then you quickly are gonna regulate your emotions. And I cover in Bliss Brain, there are four circuits to the brain that start to change. Now, this is the absolute miracle of neuroplasticity. 20 years ago, we had no idea the brain was remodeling itself that way, but I have case studies in Bliss Brain showing that if you practice in this way, the emotion regulation network in your brain, the little hub that governs emotional network, emotional regulation in your brain, grows by, get this, 10% a month. So in three months, that part of the brain can be 30% larger. So now you can regulate your irritation, your annoyance, your resentment, your negative emotion, and that opens the door to a much happier life. So that's why in Bliss Brain I say there are four networks to develop, but develop emotion regulation first.0:30:43.7 DC: The next network is the one that controls the self, and so we have these elaborate stories about who we are. "I was born at such and such a time. This is my biography. This is what my job is like, my life is like, my money is like." That's all the self, and unfortunately, that is the part of the brain that draws us into suffering. That's called the default mode network. Our brain defaults to that suffering network automatically when we aren't engaged in a task. And so we need to dial that part of the brain down. Tibetan monks, with 10,000 hours of meditation practice, they can dial down the default mode network. Literally, they close their eyes, and in a second they shut it down. You and I, maybe five minutes if we are able to practice. So you wanna shut down the self-absorbed chatter.0:31:32.6 MZ: On a good day. Yes...0:31:33.5 DC: About your life that we're all doing, the monkey mind, and the self-critical part of the brain, especially. So that's the next thing you wanna develop. You wanna develop compassion and feel compassion for other people. Not just be thinking about yourself but loving other people, loving everything the way it is, loving every... It will actually guide you to loving every atom in the universe. So we develop developed these networks, the empathy network, and then the attention network. We learn to... It's part of the brain, called the orbital prefrontal cortex. We develop that part of the brain, so it grows, becomes better at firing, and then we can pay attention to what's important and we can screen out irrelevant information. Our work productivity goes through the roof, we're far more productive at work, we're far better at solving problems. Our creativity at least doubles with these methods in a very short order. So the benefits to your regular life are immense.0:32:29.9 MZ: That's amazing. And one of the thoughts that I had, which I love, and you're just verifying with data, with research, is this idea that I don't have time. I don't have time, right? And if we take the time, it will make us that much more efficient, that much more productivity... Or more productive. And it sounds like that... And I would verify this for myself, but maybe you can validate it for me. Time taken for the meditation, the simple practices, the rewards far... The productivity rewards, happiness rewards, time rewards, efficiency rewards far outweigh the limited amount of time we need to put in to achieve those results.0:33:24.3 DC: Some people say, "I don't have time to meditate." My retort is, "You don't have time not to meditate." In one study done by a huge consulting firm called McKinsey, they found that executives who are already high performers and are entering these flow states via meditation, their productivity goes up five-fold. So you get done now in one day what used to take you five. Now, those are the peak performers. And we're now measuring this in ordinary people. We're measuring how much productivity goes up. But even if it goes up 20%, that's like an extra day a week you have available to you. And you won't be using that week to do email and that extra day of the week to work. You'll be using it to go play, be creative and have fun. So it changes your whole life game plan to have that huge increase in productivity.0:34:16.0 MZ: Perfect. Before... I wanna do one thing, if you would, for me really quick. You were talking about in the Bliss Brain book; there's the four neural networks that you're effecting change in, correct?0:34:26.6 DC: Yes.0:34:26.9 MZ: I think that's what you said. And so the first one was...0:34:29.8 DC: Emotion regulation.0:34:31.3 MZ: Say it again?0:34:32.8 DC: Emotion regulation.0:34:33.8 MZ: Emotion regulation. And so that would be, for example, the meditation, the stuff like that, right?0:34:39.0 DC: Yes.0:34:39.2 MZ: And then the second one was...0:34:43.4 DC: There's also the attention network.0:34:47.7 MZ: Intent... So, what would be a...0:34:47.8 DC: The empathy network and the...0:34:48.1 MZ: Oh, go ahead.0:34:48.5 DC: So yeah, the attention network, empathy network, and the self-centeredness suppression network. There's a part... Parts of the brain that take that self-absorbed mental chatter and switch off that project.0:35:02.0 MZ: Perfect. Okay. For the second one, could you give a simple tip or tool to help with that, to give someone a vision, so the... I can't read my own writing. [chuckle]0:35:17.5 DC: For the attention network, for example...0:35:21.2 MZ: Yes.0:35:21.5 DC: That's why a guided meditation is so useful.0:35:24.7 MZ: Okay.0:35:24.9 DC: There's dozens of guided meditations free on the web. Both at ecomeditation.com and also Insight Timer has them. A bunch of websites have my meditations for free. Blissbrain.com has them. Mind to Matter has unique ones for manifestation. And so these guided meditations give your attention network a voice, some music to focus on. That's good for you for maybe six months, maybe two or three years. At that point, you wanna graduate from that, and you'll be doing meditations yourself. You'll be able to focus your attention without the words. But for novices, it's really hard to do. You need something to focus on, like that voice and that music, so that's a second...0:36:06.0 MZ: I love it. Fantastic! And why not take advantage of those tools? Especially, since a ton of them are out there for free. Right?0:36:14.6 DC: Yep. Yep.0:36:14.6 MZ: Okay, so the empathy network, what... Tell me a tip, trick, tool for that. Is that more meditation, or is that... Is that basically... And what I'm hearing you say is that meditation is gonna fire all four of those. [chuckle]0:36:29.3 DC: Yes. It will. So empathy, like the guided meditations, we have you focus on a source of unconditional love. A person or being with whom you feel that some sort of connection. And when you do that, that activates a part of the brain called the insula, which has to do with pro-social emotions. So empathy, altruism, love, gratitude, all of those things are activated. And all of those are part of what the insula runs. And so, when you activate the insula, all of these pro-social emotions kick in, and then you can feel this immense compassion. Your heart rate slows down then, your heart rhythm becomes very regular. All kinds of good things happen in your body. So you deliberately activate the insula during the compassion part of EcoMeditation.0:37:19.1 MZ: Fantastic, thank you. And then the self-centeredness.0:37:24.7 DC: Yeah. And so in Chapter 1 and Chapter 7, beginning at the end of my book, Mind to Matter, I talk about local reality and non-local mind. And we all have to navigate local reality. I have to keep my car tuned up, and I have to keep my mortgage and rent paid, and I have to take care of my children, and I have a whole local reality I have to attend to. And then, what meditation allows you to do is step into non-local reality. And so when I sit there in the morning and meditate, I find myself being drawn up into this whole other world of just pure being. And then you're merging with non-local love, non-local information fields. And when you then end meditation and move back into your work world, you're drawing down all of the information into your local reality. That's what makes it so productive. Like, Albert Einstein said that that's the way all great scientific discoveries are made by people in altered states of consciousness where they're in tune with these global reality fields. And he'd been trying to figure out the theory of relativity for a long time. And then, one night, he fell asleep. He was really depressed and frustrated at the time. He just was... It was like beating his head against the wall. And he just saw the whole theory of relativity in a dream, in his vision. And then woke up in the morning and then spent four years working out of mathematics bit.[chuckle]0:38:52.9 MZ: That is amazing. Dawson, this has been amazing. Everybody who's watching and listening. If this interview with Dawson has been fantastic and you want to get even more content from Dawson, upgrade to the All-Access Pass for the bonus interview, which we're gonna be doing right after this. And I've got great questions there, and Dawson's obviously amazing so you won't wanna miss it. So be sure to upgrade to the All-Access Pass for that. And then any final thoughts to share that we did not get a chance to cover, Dawson?0:39:28.2 DC: Lots. [chuckle] We can't covered them all now. I would encourage you to just fill your life with everything that you can to support yourself. So it's meditation in the morning. Again, first thing in the morning, before you get involved in the outside local reality of your life, tapping to bring you back to that baseline during the day only takes a minute or two to tap, and then you feel better right away. And then nurture yourself with great friendships, people who support and love you. Nurture yourself with great media, just read books, read my books, read other people's books, there's so much information out there. Some free information out there, or even the cost of a book now 10, $20, it's amazing how much you can get. And then you start to fill your mind, inner reality with all of this. And when you filled your inner reality with such good inputs, the good outputs just appear all around you in friendships, in money insights, in well-being, in massive epigenetic shift in your cells.0:40:27.6 DC: So just doing all those things to truly love, nurture yourself and create a good life for yourself. You can create a good life for yourself. Research shows that you can be dramatically happier than you are today. In some of these MRI studies, we've seen these monks and they close their eyes, meditate, and their waves, the brainwaves of happiness go up 700% over baseline. So the bottom line is you can be like seven times as happy as you could even imagine. What neuroscience is doing meditation said to me, "Dawson. I thought it was a 10 out of 10 happiness before, but now I'm like a 15. I'm having like transcended happiness." And that is what anyone can learn to cultivate in their own brains.0:41:11.6 MZ: It's amazing, Dawson. This has been amazing, and anybody can go to blissbrain.com and download that ebook for free, I believe. Correct?0:41:23.9 DC: Yeah.0:41:24.8 MZ: Yeah. So absolutely everybody should go do that. No matter what, you've just reinforced as well in me that the choice is mine. Like more happiness is there for me if I choose to go grab it. And that's outside of the shiny object so thank you for that. And then there was another thought, but it's fleeting and gone, but thank you so much. I'm gonna hit stop here and then we'll come back in a minute for round two.[music]

After listening to Russell Brunson say for the 10th time.  You can attract different people to you depending on the stories you tell.  It finally sinks in as the truth.  I see that many of the stories I tell are more “heart centered” which tend to gravitate towards the women.  So I have a more female audience.  And as I start to tell more adrenaline fulled stories the men are starting to pop up their heads. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript:Mischa Zvegintzov 00:00Oh my gosh, I just had an epiphany. And I want to talk about storytelling and the type of stories that you tell how that is going to attract a certain segment of your, a certain segment of audience, right. And it's funny as I say that, it's like duh, even hearing myself say it. It's like, Duh. But you can only hear, which you can hear when you're ready to hear it.Mischa Zvegintzov 00:34 (INTRO) Imagine a conscious contact with God so strong, that no matter what you are doing, or not doing, that, no matter what your kids are up to, or not up to, and that whether you've got the person of your dreams, or they're just not cooperating, that you are happy content, and at peace, a space where everyone else's thoughts, attitudes and actions are beautiful, and exactly as they are supposed to be. Well, this is the space where I like to play. My name is Misha Z. And this is today's pitch, slap. Join me as I shed light on the thoughts, actions and attitudes that are causing you pain. And we train our minds to go to the capital S inner self, the joy that is waiting for us, the God within.Mischa Zvegintzov 01:27 So here we go. Let's talk about the epiphany that I had the the idea that you can, that you can attract different markets, by the stories that you tell. And we all know that in sales, and marketing, that telling stories is a very powerful tool. Especially if they're related to yourself. And you're the attractive character, shall we say? I love I think Russell Brunson is a master story teller, clearly a master storyteller. And he talks about how inventorying your stories, and being good at talking in parables, AKA a story. And in Dot Com secrets. I was listening to the audio version the other day.  He was talking about how maybe it wasn't on.com secrets, maybe it is, I'm sure it's in there somewhere. But it's definitely and I was watching a video of his excuse me. And effectively, he was saying, I've heard him tell the story in different places. But the story goes, he you know, is very good at selling men, like bringing in men to his, into his, into his realm into his service realm. Right. He's very good at bringing that in, and then helping them and, you know, building his business with with manly customers, but that his stories that he was always telling. Typically we're around wrestling and, and such in more of manly style things.Mischa Zvegintzov 03:28 And for anybody who was unfamiliar with Russell Brunson, he, he speaks from stage a lot. And then he sells and he hopes for what's called the table rush. And it's the name of this podcast. So new name of this podcast. So people are excited to buy, they rushed to the table at the back of the presentation room to sign on the line that is dotted hand over their credit cards, what have you, he's the master at, at finding out what the customer needs and wants. So and he fills that, that need and tell stories to help do it and and so he said, You know, one time he was selling from stage and consistently men would show up and or men would buy, right and then he would have a table rush of men. And then this one time, he was having a moment and he got extra vulnerable. And he told the story about how him and his wife were having troubles having you know, getting pregnant and so they had to go through the fertility treatments and stuff like that. And he was crying and you know, and then he looked up at the table rush when it was you know, time to sell and everyone was buying And there was, you know, 50% women, when there was never usually any women. And so yeah, I had the aha moment of oh, wait a minute, like, like, the, the, the tale I tell is very important.  But so is tailoring it to perhaps a wider... tell an additional story to get the other part of the audience, I guess, is the way to say that.Mischa Zvegintzov 05:31 And I've been thinking as, you know, it just hit me. And I had was on a walk and had my microphone with me, thank goodness, because I was like, Oh, my audience, I've been trying to talk to men, you know, to two men. And, but I have this large female audience. And it hit me because I tell these emotion, very emotional stories about, about the moments of realizing my kids and time with kids are so important. And, and these more you know, I don't know, feminine stories.  I don't know, call it but you will. I'm trying to not to stereotype or generalize or, or, or, or, you know, get pass judgment or whatever this is, strip all that out if you can't, but as I talked about, you know, redemption with Dawn, the boys mom, I talked about healing the heart, I talked about lots of these, what seemed to be typically female based themes. I'm getting a lot of that audience which is awesome. Because currently, I am absolutely down to provide, you know, entrepreneurial, lead gen and conversion, conversion services to both men and women. As I shift from sort of a healing modality to a business modality, and, and backdooring, the, the spiritual healing side of things. And surprise, surprise, as I talk more business, I talk more business strategy. More men are popping into my radar, who groove on that.Mischa Zvegintzov 07:45 I was like, Oh, my gosh, I have so many amazing stories to tell. And not only actually business but it's even more specific. I'm sorry, because, you know, women love Business Women love adventure, too. When I talk about my, my gambling escapades, and I was a professional gambler. And, and played in the World Series of Poker, you know, in in the early 2000s, being on the front end of the big wave of that. Or if I talk about my snowboarding, or more adrenaline fueled stories, or stitches, or big wave surfing, not big, big wave surfing, but big wave surfing for me where I ended up getting stitches. But as I talk more of these adrenaline stories they resonate with a more male audience. And so I'm like, Oh, my gosh, I've been such in this coming out of you know, divorce, Broken Heart sadness, you know, finding new purpose, heart centered language.  You know, for the past six or seven years, of course, that that that language tends to be attracting more female based audience.  But I don't know I feel super vulnerable to saying all this but I'm saying it anyway. I'm, I just see it. It's true. let's generalize. Let's call a spade a spade. A, you know. Yeah.Mischa Zvegintzov 09:41 So anyway, I'm going to I'm going to tell some more. Some more stories based from the adrenaline side of things. I don't know if adrenaline side of things is it but yes, actually, it is because I have another major epiphany, which I'm going to I have my first story teed up and ready to go. And it also has to do with a little bit of a function of maturity as a male and reignited business. So I believe that that thank you for listening, thank you for being a part of my aha moment of telling different stories to pull in different segments of your audience. And that's it, let's let's grow our businesses. Let's take risks. Let's live a life of adventure.Mischa Zvegintzov 10:40 (OUTRO) Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for spending time with me today. I'm talking to my temporary neighbor Christie.  And she's either telling me that I look at things like a 5th grader.  And to stop asking for advice…  Or…  I remind her of Oprah with my openness and enthusiasm.  And congratulations on being convicted on your new vision.  It all depends on how I want to look at it.Administrative: (See episode transcript below)Check out the Tools For A Good Life Summit here: Virtually and FOR FREE https://bit.ly/ToolsForAGoodLifeSummitStart podcasting! As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:02 Who knows where this episode is going to go, I do have a story to tell. And it is about the stories we tell ourselves when somebody is talking to us.  Or, more specifically, perhaps what we hear is not what they're saying. Or even better, we can frame it however we want. It's all in our perception. And I'm really grooving on that idea right now. So I'm going to talk a little bit about that I had a discussion with my neighbor who well somebody who's living in my neighbor's driveway. Christy she is so sweet and so wise and and she's a coach and she lives she lives in a converted van. And my neighbor's got a really cool house actually awesome views and just you know, super chill, she's always has these little parties over there, you know, gatherings the neighbors are you know, drinking their wine around sunset. I, I I hang out at my house anyway. Because the parks, it's the best parking what a place to park your van, and be able to, like, look at these amazing sunset views and, and it's pretty, you know, what a person could could do worse than, than that setup. Anyway, I am in a mood tonight. I just, I was thinking, I'm gonna get to the point here.Mischa Zvegintzov  01:59 But before I do. I've been watching some training videos for the two comma club x, this program that I'm in to grow my business and I'm committed to the business side of things as well. Just so you know. So good news. First off is that I will not be starting a new podcast and walking away from the Bitch Slap podcast. I will just be rebranding the podcast to call it Table Rush. My coach Vince said hey, just rename your current podcast and have fun with it. I was like you know what? You're right. Like there's no need to just you know, shit can it.  Excuse my language.Tthrow the baby out with the bathwater.  But I also had the strong realization that I'm taking a sigh can take things seriously as people should they should take their podcast seriously. But I just am in this mindset right now. Like it's none of this matters. Like none of it matters in the biggest picture of things. None of it freakin matters. And I've just let go of results and the expectations around it. I'm doing the best I can. I'm trying to be of service. And it just seems like a lud... a ludicrous mockery. Sometimes if I was to be perfectly honest with you. So Russell Brunson. I don't know if anybody follows him or follows his marketing secrets, podcast, or click funnels and all this stuff. I'm obviously embedded heavily in it. And I love it. I'm all in and I'm going deeper in every day. And I'm super stoked to have found the inspiration and to be charging ahead and I've got this great business idea that I'm going to run with and hack. Yeah, man, like, stuffs happening, and it's fun, and I'm charged up. So that's the good news. And I'm trying to be of service with my podcast. Oh my gosh, I hope I can get to the point of this episode. And the point of the episode is I kind of feel loops going here. But the point of the episode is, is to have the episodes moving forward. How do I take these stories that I'm telling and spin them the lessons towards business? Right and my mindset, I suppose, because mindset can be so important to entrepreneurship and business creation, and growth and scaling and all that so...Mischa Zvegintzov  04:53 This might need to be a two or three parter. Back to Russell Brunson. So, a bunch of these trainings, Russell Brunson was laughing at himself on how with his marketing secrets podcast, he didn't find his voice until episode 41. Episode 41 was when the Russell Brunson, funnel hacker. Father, leader extraordinare found his voice on his podcast. And sorry, that was a son yelling in the background chirping in the background. I don't know at what? Home my gosh, this is just, you know, this is fun. This is fun. If my service today is having fun and helping you have fun, regaling you with stories. Will God bless. So Steve Larson, who's another big funnel hacker crony of Russell Brunson, who's very good at what he does. Was, you know, telling Russell Brunson that, hey, your podcast effectively sucked until Episode 41. When you finally figured out what the heck you were doing and talking about, and you found your voice, right.  So as I just published as I'm recording this episode, I published I just scheduled for publishing episode number. Where is it? Give me a Give me a sec here. Of course, it's not right in front of me. It's like episode number 340. or some such thing. I'm going to tell you. It's very important to me that I tell you, episode number. Come on computer. 344. Yep. So 344, I still would tell you that I have no idea what I'm doing. I have. Have I found my voice is Misha found his voice? Yet? Yeah. Right. It just all seems so ludicrous. It's one of those days, but I am charging for it. I also had the moment of, of, you know, it might not be downloads or looks or likes, although I do have like 12 or 13,000 downloads, that's which is awesome. But I have definitely learned a lot if I was to catalogue that.Mischa Zvegintzov  07:38 Now, let's talk about Christie my neighbor. Let's just close all these loops. Let's get her done. Christie, and so Christie, my neighbor, I'm talking to her. And I hear I'm telling her about my new value ladder mission statement about, you know, who I'm going to help. And I'm all excited about it. And I'm all excited about the business pivot, helping people in this awesome idea. And and I hear her say, "Well, you know, at some point, you got to stop asking for advice". Like, she was telling me stop asking for advice. So when I heard right, so one way I heard it, and then I was running to the store to get my Apple keyboard fixed. Because I guess I got some food under the tab button. So it was no longer working. And I heard her say, oh, Apple is for fifth graders, basically fifth graders because of the closed system like she likes Dell and all this because she can do all this cool computer stuff. On Wintel that you can't do on Apple, because Apple's a closed system. So I could have and did for a moment perhaps take both of those things negatively. In the same conversation at the same time, she said, effectively, congratulations on having such a solid vision, this new vision that that I've have that's manifested. Right. And so it turns out, she wasn't actually saying, Stop asking for advice. She was saying how great you're at the spot where you're convicted and know your direction. And you know, no longer need to get people's opinion about it.Mischa Zvegintzov  09:48 Yeah, that's a much better way to hear that right. Yes, indeed. And then, I also, you know, as I was talking about how I was going to use my interview skills Here's my, my childish wonder and enthusiasm as I look at things and interview people and. And she says, Yeah, you know, she said, "You remind me of when I met Oprah". And she was talking about how Oprah made was so open and made. People feel like, she was just like, they were in her space, you know. And so, at the end of the conversation, I said, I said, you know, you basically told me to stop asking people for advice, that I've had the intelligence of a fifth grader. I was teasing her. But then I did say, but I'm just kidding a little bit. Um, you actually told me that, congratulations on my solid vision. And that I remind her of Oprah. And I thought, You know what, that was just, I, it's so fun to have the awareness in the moment to be like. Holy mackerel, it's how I choose to hear things. Oftentimes, it's how I choose to hear things and I've got a buddy who who says things excuse me, and I really realize you know what, it's not about me at all. Like put your ego aside. Like, like, it's literally whatever negative thing I think he's saying. I don't need to take it personal. It's not about me. I don't know how else to say it. It's like it could be just about him. How he sees himself. And I take it on. Anyway. That's it. So ludicrous, extra long episode I believe we'll see when it comes to editing. But life is fun. Keep at it, try new things. Keep learning on gaining ground every day love to all.

Counterintuitive thoughts on gratitude.

Gratitude is such a powerful tool.  I talk about two counterintuitive things in regard to gratitude.  1) Perhaps how we look at gratitude isn't right sometimes.  Being told to compare what we have in regard to what other people don't have.  If we continue to compare ourselves to others, and try to see how we're better off, that's actually perhaps not healthy.  And 2) Go ahead and write down the negative things on your life on your gratitude list. As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases.Transcript: Mischa Zvegintzov  00:02 All right. Today we're going to talk about gratitude, and perhaps some counterintuitive thoughts that I've had on gratitude. Maybe not only counterintuitive as to what to write down for me, and this is for me. Last episode, I was talking about Adam, who's so graciously customer, some customer tech support over at, GoDaddy, who reminded me that change your perspective, and the things you look at change. Thank you for that, Adam. But when I started going on my little riff on that, and thanking Adam and I started to talk about gratitude, and how powerful gratitude can be in our lives, and we hear all the time, gratitude lists. You know, make gratitude lists in the morning, 5 things you're grateful for. You know, just if you're, if you're upset in the moment find something to be grateful for. And it is such a powerful tool. And I came across ah...  I'll talk about two things in regard to gratitude. One is that perhaps, perhaps how we look at gratitude isn't right sometimes. And then to go ahead and write down the negative things in your life on the gratitude list. So those are my two counterintuitive thoughts. Right? So I think oftentimes, we're told to be grateful what you have as to what other people don't have. And I think that that implies that the shiny objects are to be grateful for. Right? Or like, you know, in extream circumstances, be grateful, you've got your feet, and you can walk because some people don't, right. Mischa Zvegintzov  02:06 And I'm not saying be don't be grateful for that. But when we start comparing, and it's kind of a nuanced way to look about it. And this idea was brought to me, I think I read it in A Course In Miracles, you know, I'm all into A Course In Miracles. And let's say, This is what the Course in Miracles said, it's the way I interpreted it. But it was like, hey, if we continue to compare ourselves to others, and try to see how we're better off, like, that's actually perhaps not healthy. Because the better off is an illusion. Right? Like, and I love actually love that idea. It's like trying to find the god gratitude versus the I've got gratitude versus the compare gratitude. Because the illusion is my life's better because "I have this". Well, the reality is, a lot of the "I have this" has been a source of major discontentment in my life. Right. And so let's, let me try and tie that... I appreciate you going down this path with me. And I was thinking as I was on a meeting the other day, on a zoom, meeting with a group of people and gratitude was the topic and of course, people were talking about gratitude lists. And in the back of my, in my mind, I started thinking about... you know...  According to this, like, Well, alright, maybe I don't, on my gratitude list, put the things that I've got that you don't. So therefore, I'm grateful running water, all the way up to shiney house to whatever, you know. And I was like, what if I started writing down the supposed negative things in my life to be grateful for them? Right. And I thought, that's an interesting thought. And then I immediately went to well, let's put down the top worst things in my life that perhaps I've seen.  Or would be perceived as bad.   Or you know, all these these ideas. So when I got sober back in the day, you know, when I was 17 years old, and because I was gonna die, I was dying from alcohol and drugs. You know, there was the final, you know, moments in jail. There was there was that the judge, you know, laying the hammer down. Like, there was the the... I was crushed. best thing that ever happened to me .   Mischa Zvegintzov  03:11 So it's best thing that ever happened to me, and it's given me, like, the, the addiction and chemical dependency and all that is actually the best thing that happened to me. It's given me an amazing perspective on life.  It's given me access to a higher power that provides me immense contentment and freedom and joy and peace in the moment. And it's actually introduced me to a framework of how to live life like steps, here's some steps you can take to have a good life. And I really learned, oh my god, like, if you follow steps, you can have success. If you see something out there that is calling to you, and someone's done it before you and they have a framework for you to follow, you can literally go follow that framework and have success. I mean, in get the end result, or some piece of it, or some part of it, right.  I guess some people might go, I want to go be a neurosurgeon, but perhaps their hands are too shaky, or perhaps their mental capacity is carried towards something else, and not neuroscience, or neurosurgery or whatever, you know. But I think you get what I'm saying.Mischa Zvegintzov  05:08 And then there was the darkest days of, of that final breakup that I went through that just emotionally devastated me, you know, this was, like, seven years ago or something by now. But again, in that moment, I would have told you, it's horrible. But I was devastated. But again, it brought it's brought me so much freedom and insight and, like, release from pent up emotions and, and fears.  And it's just broght me so close to My God, my higher power my source. Like new levels, again, of freedom and release of the illusions of those shiny objects that I think I've got to have to be happy. No. And I had come up with this whole list of the worst things and I'm like, Oh my gosh, if I started looking at what's the available lesson and every supposed negative thing. Wow. So start making that my gratitude list all the bad things, you know, I've tried to think about that thing right now. I could put up my list. Oh, the neighbor planted a tree. I'm like, god dammit, that's gonna grow and impede whatever view of some damn thing I've got, like, all right. You know what the trees do? They just bring amazing birds and they actually provide shade and any foliage... Like it it dampens sound. So any road noise and like it actually makes everything more peaceful. I swear I and I get that a lot as I setting in my house and I hear the birds chirping all over the place. Like oh my god if like if there wasn't all this foliage around impeding my view of whatever the bank across the street.Mischa Zvegintzov  08:27 Then there wouldn't be these birds that are just there's there's so many amazing birds flying around here the life that the birds bring is incredible.  But that's just one example. And so I also started thinking you know the gratitude for... like if you're God's big enough you're just you can be grateful for the fact that we have breath today.  But even then, it's like if you're if my gods big enough like there's more next there's something. Or there's more meaning than just my egoic attachment to this to how I feel right now. And so you can be grateful for death to.  You can be grateful for, grateful for the way, grateful for creation.  Grateful for the way everything works. Supposed it good or bad. Just like a core knowing gratitude.  Yeah. Mischa Zvegintzov  09:41 There's that guy Nick. I wish I could remember his last name (Nick Santonastasso).  But he effectively has you know, he's had some disease when he was kid. Kinda wish I could remember his last name. But he's so powerful because he's got basically one arm and on this arm he's got you know, like one a couple of fingers, that's like one big finger. I don't know that. So much of what he does, and when I see him, you know, on the Instagram or whatever. And I've had the opportunity to see him speak live twice, once in person and once on a on like a zoom thing during the COVID. But I got to see him Funnel Hacking Live, I got to see him live. But also he was he was hanging out a bunch at Funnel Hacking Live, that was the great thing about the funnel, hacking live 2021. If you ever have an opportunity to go to one of these things, you should.  Because all these amazing speakers, if you're into this kind of stuff, like Nick was there hanging out, he was just hanging out rolling around in his wheelchair with his posse, his crew, fully accessible.  You could talk to him as much as you want it. Then his parents were there. Actually, it was funny at a moment to talk to his parents. But I was like, who's the old people older than me, people are actually probably my age.Mischa Zvegintzov  11:11 But I went to talk to somebody I knew. I had one of those moments of talk to someone you don't know or talk to the person, you know. And for whatever reason, I was like, I just I wasn't feeling like introducing myself or striking up a new conversation. Because I had some fear and insecurity, right. And so I went talk to the people that I knew. And I looked back over and Nick rolls up and it turns out these people that I weren't going to talk to who looked like they were looking for someone to talk to as they were because they know anybody.  Then all of a sudden there was Nick talking to his parents. And I was like what the hell what a crazy I kind of had such so much fun talking to his parents just to get insights into what they feel experienced.  Like to get the parental perspective of a son who's just empowering people through his supposedly defects, you know, physical defects. It's like unbelievable.  But anyway it's a good reminder for me next time if I have the opportunity to put my fears aside and embrace the unknown of who I don't know. Anyway. Got so many thought loops going here.Mischa Zvegintzov  12:26 But Nick is so great at pointing out that the body stuff is the illusion man.  Like when I would have been in physically fit, like in my best physical fitness.  Or I think I might my most handsomeness shining honest, right? Like the most echoic stuff to offer have sometimes been my deepest points of insecurity. And he just shines a light on that on me and it's beautiful, and I love it. He's like your body is nothing. And like he talks about how his physical defects are the biggest gifts in his life. And I believe it man. I see it in action man. So anyway, Nick, God bless you. I'm going to end there. And just say quick that like, hey, maybe start writing down on your gratitude list. The top five things that you're unhappy about that cause you discontent and look for where you can find the goodness in that? Because that's it man shit keeps coming at us in life and we get the five gratitude in it or we don't anyway, I'm out.  Enough of my pontificating. I hope this made some sort of sense. Please reply back. Go into the show notes. I believe that's contact@belov.media send me an email "Yeah, right on. I was relating." or "Man you're full of crap!" Anyway, love to all Peace out.

Wow! I forgot how much I loved this conversation; it seriously moved me! Today's episode is part 2 of the conversation Danielle and I had on my very first episode!! Episode one was the most downloaded episode, so if you liked what we had to say in the first episode, you are going to love pt. 2! In part 2 we go into much more depth about our own self journeys, dating past and what we've learned, the pros and cons of dating older men, codependency issues, and how cycles repeat themselves. Ugh, this was such an amazing conversation and I can't wait for you to listen! As always, if you loved this episode and my podcast so far, a 5-star rating or review would mean the world to me!  Follow me on Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/abbieschulz_ Podcast Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/realtalkwithabbie
