A DOJ attorney broke down in tears in Minnesota federal court today, declared that her job and the system “sucks,” and begged Fed Judge Blackwell to throw her in jail for contempt because she can't get her client ICE to abide by the court's orders, and she desperately needs sleep. And she volunteered for this job no less! Popok reports on ICE breaking the law and federal court orders, and what the Court system and Chief Judge are prepared to do about it. Trump Orders US Citizens to Leave Iran Ahead Of Large-Scale Strikes That Are Extremely Dangerous Gamble For Regime Change! Plus, New Epstein Revelations Shock World
This Badlands Media special coverage documents President Donald Trump unveiling the TrumpRx initiative and signing executive actions aimed at dramatically reducing prescription drug prices for Americans. The event centers on the launch of TrumpRx.gov, a new platform allowing consumers to access dozens of commonly prescribed medications at steep discounts under Most Favored Nation pricing agreements. The remarks outline how the United States will now pay the lowest price charged for prescription drugs anywhere in the world, ending decades of price disparities. Specific examples are presented, including major price reductions for insulin, inhalers, GLP-1 weight loss medications, and IVF drugs. Administration officials detail how consumers can use the site to obtain coupons and fill prescriptions directly through participating pharmacies. The coverage also highlights commitments from leading pharmaceutical companies to expand domestic manufacturing, the role of tariffs in reshoring industry, and the broader economic and healthcare implications of the initiative. The event concludes with a live demonstration of the TrumpRx website and remarks emphasizing affordability, access, and long-term healthcare reform.
People around the world have now heard the reporting about five year-old Liam Conejos Ramos. ICE grabbed him up on his way home from preschool, used him as bait to lure his father out of the house, and then jailed them both – put them both in detention - even whisking them away from their home in Minnesota to a detention facility in Texas. This inhumane treatment by the Trump administration prompted an outcry, both nationally and internationally. But it also prompted something more: a short, two-page court order from a federal judge in Texas, that is as unique as it is powerful. That court order may prove to be historic when the age of the Trump-induced darkness comes to an end. When the mission ends, discipline gets exposed. What happens when the uniform comes off and no one is giving orders anymore? Former Army Airborne Infantry soldier and nonprofit founder Jonathan Milkovich joins Joe De Sena to talk about life after service, losing structure, and rebuilding standards from scratch. They cover the gap between military experience and civilian reality, why discipline must become self-directed, and how endurance training, competition, and finish lines replace lost mission and purpose. This episode delivers clear rules for ownership, structure, and performance when no one is watching. Things You Will Learn How to keep discipline when orders and structure are gone How to rebuild purpose through standards, not motivation How competition and finish lines create accountability Tools & Frameworks Covered Calendar-Based Challenges: create urgency and structure without external orders Endurance Training & Finish Lines: rebuild identity through proof of work Checklist Ownership Systems: replace motivation with repeatable discipline If this episode moved you, don't just listen. Do something about it. Sign up. Show up. Do the work. Spartan.com. No more excuses. Jonathan Milkovich is a military veteran who struggled deeply after transitioning out of service, losing the structure, identity, and sense of purpose that once defined his daily life. Through endurance racing, he rebuilt discipline, clarity, and self-belief, discovering that physical challenge could become a pathway back to meaning. That journey led him to found Operation WarriorFit, centered on purpose after service, discipline through fitness, and rebuilding identity through shared challenge. In 2010, environmental advocates, elected officials and executives from TransAlta, a Canada-based electricity supplier, assembled a plan to close down Washington’s last remaining coal-burning power plant by the end of 2025. The 15-year long project was a sort of benchmark for transitions of this kind – it included comprehensive financial support and educational opportunities for employees and their families. It eventually lent itself to Washington’s clean energy goals passed in 2019, one of which declared that all state utilities must cease purchasing and using coal-powered energy by the end of 2025. But late last month, when the plant was on track to shut down its operations, the Department of Energy issued an emergency order, ruling that the plant must remain operational for another 90 days. This posed many questions for the future of the plant, due to the long-term effort to close its doors and the lack of customers for coal-powered energy because of the Clean Energy Transformation Act. The plant remains shut down despite the emergency order, but its future hangs in limbo. Joining us to discuss the details is Amanda Zhou, a climate and environment reporter at the Seattle Times.

Hidden Killers With Tony Brueski | True Crime News & Commentary
Jesse Butler thought he got away with it. The Stillwater, Oklahoma teen pled no contest to 11 felony charges — attempted rape, rape by instrumentation, strangulation, violating a protective order — and avoided prison entirely. But attorney Rachel Bussett just filed a motion that could blow the whole thing up.Her argument: the plea was void from the start. According to court documents, victims weren't consulted before the deal was struck. Orders were filed without signatures. One victim was in surgery when the youthful offender certification was entered. The DA allegedly told a minor victim about the plea — and then told her not to tell her mother. On February 3rd, 2026, a Payne County court will decide whether this Marsy's Law challenge moves forward. If Bussett wins, Jesse Butler's plea deal could be thrown out and the case could restart as an adult prosecution. And that's not all. A federal lawsuit now names Stillwater Public Schools, Principal Walter Howell, the school resource officer, and Butler's own parents — including his father Mack Butler, former Oklahoma State football operations director — as defendants. The allegations include Title IX violations, civil rights violations, and claims the school refused to enter a protective order into their database because they didn't want to interfere with Butler's education. The system failed these girls. Kevin Lane is the executive chef and co-owner of The Cookery and The Lone Chicharron Taqueria in Seward, and he was recently named as a James Beard Award semifinalist. Reflecting on that recognition, he says it wouldn't have been possible without his team at The Cookery, or the kitchens and crews from his past that shaped the way he cooks today. Those roots stretch back to California's Sacramento area, where he was raised on crockpot meals, black-eyed peas, and lentil stew, before he found his way into kitchens in San Diego. Around nineteen, he was eating street tacos, shucking oysters, and learning the pace of restaurant life — first on the cold oyster bar, then on the hotline, where teamwork and discipline took root. Those early experiences still show up in his food today — the steady presence of Mexican influence, the belief that cooking is ultimately about making people happy, and he's still shucking oysters. He was still early in his career when he moved to Juneau to work as a Sous Chef. There, and later in Sitka, he recognized the realities of Alaska's food system, how kitchens relied heavily on frozen and canned goods because they were dependable. Orders had to be placed seven to ten days out, and even then, fresh vegetables and herbs might arrive frozen and mushy. It was a lot different from working in California, where you could order produce in the morning and expect it that afternoon. The learning curve was steep, but learning to adapt is what good cooks do. So, given Alaska's abundance of fresh seafood, he adjusted his cooking and learned to let fish become the focus. And now that there's more access to farm-fresh produce than ever before, the constraints that once defined cooking in Alaska have eased, expanding what's possible on a menu.

Send us a textThe ground is shifting under our feet as AI moves from answering questions to taking action. We dig into what that transformation really means for leaders: how operating models evolve, where risk compounds, and what it takes to capture speed without inviting chaos. With Dr. Jamila Amimer, CEO of MindSenses Global and a recognized AI strategist, we unpack practical steps to go from pilots to production and build systems that are fast, reliable, and governed. We start by separating AI families—predictive, generative, and agentic—and why each demands a different approach to design, safety, and measurement. Dr. Amimer explains why spatial AI and the convergence with robotics will redefine context and capability, and how to prepare now without tossing out today's LLM investments. From domain expertise and humans in the loop to controlled knowledge bases and action approvals, we lay out the essential guardrails to minimize hallucinations, manage model drift, and avoid compounding errors at scale. Then we turn to the human layer. HR data becomes a strategic asset, revealing task flows and handoffs that inform agent orchestration. We talk through preserving meaning and motivation as agents absorb routine work, and how equitable upskilling—analytical thinking, data literacy, exception handling—keeps teams engaged and effective. Accountability and auditability aren't abstract; they're the difference between a clever demo and a trustworthy system your board will support. If you're ready to move beyond hype and design AI that plans, decides, and acts with confidence, this conversation gives you the operating principles to start today and scale tomorrow. If this resonated, follow the show, share it with a colleague who cares about AI governance, and leave a review so we can reach more leaders building responsibly. Thanks for tuning in to this episode of Follow The Brand! Sure we could talk sports, but what Peter Schwartz orders at fast food restaurants fascinates us.
The U.S. Department of Justice has filed notice that it's appealing a judge's order setting limits on federal agents' actions against protesters in Minnesota. U.S. District Judge Katherine Menendez late last week ordered agents involved in the immigration crackdown in Minnesota to not detain or arrest protesters or observers, unless there's reasonable suspicion or probable cause of a crime. The order also bars agents from using nonlethal munitions on peaceful protesters and bars them from stopping drivers who follow ICE to monitor operations.State Sen. John Hoffman is preparing for Minnesota's next legislative session and running for a new term. Hoffman was shot in a June attack on him and his wife at their home. Authorities say the same gunman killed Rep. Melissa Hortman and her husband. But Hoffman won't retreat from public life. He has reemerged for speaking engagements. He will soon preside over Senate committee hearings.

This week on the Jay Pitts Show, we're breaking down some major developments that could impact the real estate and mortgage markets heading into 2026.We start with President Trump instructing his “representatives” to purchase $200 billion in mortgage-backed securities—what that actually means, why it matters, and how moves like this can influence interest rates, housing affordability, and overall market sentiment.Next, we dive into the new FinCEN requirements for home buyers taking effect March 1. We'll explain what's changing, who it applies to, and why buyers—and agents—need to be aware of these new reporting and transparency rules before getting under contract. And to wrap things up, we get into our weekly wins and fails, from wisdom teeth removal to ghosts and more!Submit your questions for Jay and Ryan to answer on the podcast here!
Judge Penney Azcarate wants answers. She's ordered prosecutors to turn over all communications related to the transfer of Officer Brendan Miller — the digital forensics expert whose findings contradicted the prosecution's theory in the Brendan Banfield murder case.Miller analyzed 60 devices connected to the case. His conclusion: Christine Banfield — not her husband — appeared to control the FetLife account prosecutors claim was used to lure Joseph Ryan to his death. The University of Alabama peer-reviewed his analysis and confirmed it. Then, according to court testimony, Miller was told he'd never work another digital forensics case. He was transferred out. The lead homicide detective who disagreed with command staff was also reassigned. On February 24, 2023, Christine Banfield, 37, was stabbed to death in her Herndon, Virginia home. Joseph Ryan, 39, lay feet away, shot twice by two different guns. Their 4-year-old daughter was in the basement waiting to go to the zoo.Prosecutors allege Brendan Banfield and au pair Juliana Peres Magalhaes were having an affair and staged the murders to look like self-defense. Juliana faced murder charges for a year before changing her story and taking a plea deal that lets her walk free if she testifies against Banfield.Retired FBI Special Agent Jennifer Coffindaffer breaks down what she calls "a theory in search of facts." The original prosecutor was removed after being cited for drinking at 8 a.m. Key evidence was excluded. It took 19 months to charge Banfield. There were 24 competing theories before the au pair flipped. This case had serious problems before a single witness took the stand. Now a jury has to decide who's telling the truth.#BrendanBanfield #ChristineBanfield #JulianaPeresMagalhaes #TrueCrimeToday #FetLife #JudgeAzcarate #JenniferCoffindaffer #DigitalForensics #MurderTrial #TrueCrimeJoin Our SubStack For AD-FREE ADVANCE EPISODES & EXTRAS!: https://hiddenkillers.substack.com/Want to comment and watch this podcast as a video? GRASSROOTS CONTROL AND VICTORY AT YORKTOWN Colleague Joseph Ellis. Ellis argues the Britishcould not win because local committees enforced the cause in the countryside, neutralizing loyalists. Cornwallis was trapped at Yorktown due to orders from Clinton and the timely arrival of the French fleet, which Ellis attributes to providence. Despite the victory, Washington remained vigilant, later suppressing the Newburgh conspiracy by refusing a military dictatorship, thereby solidifying the principle of civilian control over the military. We've got @GigiYoung back to talk a little bit about what may be on tap for humanity in 2026, along with a few other big topics. First, what value does the concept of 'Might Makes Right' hold for us? Is it incumbent upon us to re-pair might with morality in order to save the West? I would also like to revisit the topic of Free Will, and how it relates to things like Pre-Cognition. Should be a great first hour, and then I need to make time for calls in the second half because the topics are rich and it has been too long since we were able to get a proper open lines segment in! Opening with alleged testimony from Venezuelan security forces who witnessed the use of highly advanced technology during the daring extraction of Nicolas Maduro last week, and the reporting on a very well-timed Polymarket bet on Maduro's exit. Then switching over to some social commentary on Minnesota; the deadly ICE protesting doesn't need much time to understand, but what we're seeing coming from Liberal White Women in particular is moving into an insane new phase. That should be more than enough to get us to a second half call w/ Skip and James of Patriot-Protect.com who are stopping in for a quarterly Cyber Security segment.
