She has used her grief along with her own unanswered questions to create journals for mothers and sons, mothers and daughters, and most recently fathers and sons and fathers and daughters. Melissa speaks about her father and his role in her life, including his absence, reappearance, and death. Melissa struggled with addiction, and discusses finding her sobriety in the last year of her mom's life. Melissa's mom, Delise, passed away in her sleep unexpectedly. She shares the gifts her mother gave to her throughout her life and describes the tole her mother's death took on her, and how she copes with this loss. Jennifer Ludington is a high-performance mindset and health coach, founder of SHE Ascends Club, and a best selling author. It's really hard to accept the idea that we should enjoy the journey when there are so many complex problems in the present world. Stress, anxiety, depression are a real thing right now. So how do we learn strategies to deal with these “internal world problems”. Let's talk about that today... How to Overcome Negative Thoughts Change the Questions You ask yourself repeatedly -the questions we ask ourselves is the key Remind Yourself People Don't Care about what you say or do -our anxiety is not theirs...people have their own issues Shift Your Brain -question your thoughts moving from emotion to logic. Change Your Surroundings -surround yourself with positive or good vibrations Change Your Perspective or Filter -while this really matter in 5 years? Talk it out or Vent. -talking it out can be a great way to get rid of thoughts. Come back to the present. -focus on your breath, counting, etc. Force a Change in Thought Direction -grab a project or task to consume your mind. Go Workout or Exercise -body and mind have an amazing connection. Change focus to Service -move focus from you to others and recognize them. Practice Gratitude -make a physical list of things you appreciate. Book end Your day… -idle time and unfocused time is the precursor

Jason Carter is a Registered Nurse in New York City. Following the Standard American Diet (SAD) recommendations he found himself weighing 300 lbs and pre-diabetic at 24 yrs old. In his search for a better diet, he experimented with a vegan diet, a ketogenic diet, and eventually found that a carnivore diet was the best solution for him. He has lost 111 lbs, works out regularly and has transformed his previously overweight body into an athletic physique. His carnivore diet is made up of 85% fat and includes organ meats for essential micro-nutrients. Worked in a Covid-19 hospital ward. Saw that many of the patients that struggled with the disease also had symptoms of Metabolic Disease like obesity, heart disease, type 2 diabetes and hypertension. In his effort to help patients with dietary advice he has found himself in direct conflict with other hospital staff making the standard recommendations.
