In this episode, we're going to talk about 5 steps to manage common feelings of inadequacy among entrepreneurs and how to stop feeling like a “loser”. I have felt like a loser so many times in the 14 years I've been an entrepreneur. I have experienced various embarrassing or devastating entrepreneurial moments: overnight traffic loss, burnout, not getting as much traction as other bloggers, getting booted from a major blogging Facebook group, you name it. So how have I dealt with these situations and pulled myself through? Here are 5 steps I take when faced with feeling like an entrepreneurial loser. Action Plan: 1 - It's not personal: Understand that setbacks in your business are not a reflection of your worth as an entrepreneur, but rather a normal part of the journey. 2 - Take responsibility: Identify what you could have done differently and use that knowledge to improve your future actions, rather than blaming external factors. 3 - Connect with peers: Surround yourself with a trusted circle of fellow entrepreneurs who can provide support and advice during difficult times. 4 - Celebrate accomplishments: Make a regular habit of listing your achievements, no matter how small, to maintain a positive mindset. 5 - Keep moving forward: Expect setbacks, but continue taking small, consistent steps towards your goals and dreams, as your response to challenges determines your success. Get in touch with Megan if there is a specific mindset and self-care topic you'd like her to cover. Website | Instagram Promote your food blogging services Megan's recommended books and resources
In this episode, we're going to talk about 5 traits of high achievers and how to incorporate similar habits into our lives. When you spend time with inspiring, high-quality individuals, you suddenly notice traits that would be well-worth adopting. I attended a conference earlier this year where I noticed such high-achieving individuals. I observed five distinct things that set them apart and helped lead them to success as business owners. Here is how you can incorporate similar strategies to elevate your own personal and professional success. Action Plan: 1 - Avoid negativity: High achievers refuse to engage in criticism, gossip, cynicism, and complaining, as these behaviors can be draining and unproductive. 2 - Embrace challenges: You should be open to receiving and giving challenges and questions from others, as this can lead to valuable insights and personal growth. 3 - Celebrate failure: Failure should be viewed as a necessary step towards success, and high achievers wear it as a badge of honor, encouraging you to take bigger risks. 4 - Prioritize learning: Dedicating time each day to learning, whether through books, podcasts, or other resources, can help you stay focused, motivated, and on track with your goals. 5 - Establish routines: Incorporating daily routines into your life, even if they start small, can help you maintain productivity, focus, and a positive mindset. Get in touch with Megan if there is a specific mindset and self-care topic you'd like her to cover. Website | Instagram
In this episode, we address the challenge high achievers often face—the feeling that we've never done 'enough.' If that sounds familiar, this one's for you. We examine how to use reflection as a powerful tool for personal growth and learning, helping you see progress rather than focusing on what's missing. Plus, we'll break down how to prevent negativity bias from taking over, allowing you to appreciate your wins more fully. Tune in to discover how to shift your mindset and embrace your achievements! For a guy who has won at every level, success for Danny Green began with a solid foundation from a young age. Growing up with a supportive dad and equally competitive brother, he progressed in his game by first loving to play, then dedicating himself to maximize his abilities. Winning championships in high school in New York, then at the University of North Carolina for Roy Williams and on to NBA titles for the Spurs, Raptors and Lakers, winning for Danny was equal parts ability, commitment and situation. As Drew sees in Danny, the winning formula is in Danny's approach as a player with his unique talents, and his approach as a teammate. Thanks to quality habits in training, work ethic and the ability to produce, players like Danny can always find their way to good opportunities. As he tells us through the ups and downs that will happen, Danny's confidence and belief in himself enabled him push through. His career now stands as a great example of continuing to work towards your dreams, and by way of drive, consistency and those good habits, he's continued to achieve great things.Presented By: NetSuite and Indeedwww.NetSuite.com/UNSEENwww.indeed.com/HANLENSubscribe to the Unseen Hours Podcast:Amazon: https://music.amazon.com/podcasts/940ce627-1dab-4258-aa53-c4b576386bb1/the-unseen-hours-podcast-with-drew-hanlenApple: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/the-unseen-hours-podcast-with-drew-hanlen/id1627624652Google: https://podcasts.google.com/feed/aHR0cHM6Ly9yc3MuYXJ0MTkuY29tL3RoZS11bnNlZW4taG91cnMtcG9kY2FzdASpotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3iFiip28V5rOHkPWcWhScK?si=8fb69efc3fd14326Follow Drew:Instagram: @drewhanlenTwitter: @drewhanlenFollow Unseen Hours:https://instagram.com/unseenhours?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=

Welcome back, everyone!! thank you for tuning into hello, it's time to be you xoxo. In today's episode, I decided to combine both 5 & 6 because in the last episode we talked about goal setting and setting your goals....so I did not want to repeat that haha. Anyways in this last episode of this small series (6 successful habits), we talk about taking action and just doing it. As much as we love to talk about dreams and what we would love to do (yes I do fall into this trap) it is time to take action and CHASE your dreams. Both Aria and I open up about what gets us going and why we do what we do. For me personally, it is this anxiety (not bad) but more so it pushes me to keep going. Aria tells me that my anxiety is my superpower, and while yes it pushes me it can also stress me out sometimes. It is all about finding "balance". Anyways like always I can go on and on about this. Take a listen to hear more!! I love you guys so much xoxo brit & aria

This is episode 2 of a 5 part series Jake gives on his 5 habits of successful salespeople. In this second session, Jake explains how to be a quarterback and utilize your team to your advantage and close deals. In this episode, Jake covers:Great sales people are great quarterbacks. They realize it's not their job to play every position. They know they can't also be the coach and the line receiver and the running back. Your VP or your CEO are happy to get on the phone and help close a big deal. The top competitor you lose deals to is “no decision.” Your main competitor is not some other person. Loop in your customer service team early in the process to avoid “no decision” because no one knows “who's going to own it.”This is a Mini Episode Monday where every Monday, Jake will be bringing you bite-size clips from sales calls he has done, interviews he has been on, or simply, his hot take on a given topic.Hit the subscribe button on your favorite podcast player so you don't miss the next three habits.…Sign up for the Modern Leader Newsletter for more tips and talks like this from Jake: https://skaled.com/modern-leader-sign-up/Follow Jake: LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/jakedunlapInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/jake_dunlap_/Twitter: https://twitter.com/jaketdunlapWebsite: https://www.jakedunlap.com/
Hi everyone :) I hope you are all doing well today
Today's Flash Back Friday Episode is from Episode #54, which originally aired on January 12, 2015. This week's show I'm going to cover an awesome story I ran across over the past week which I thought had a ton of relevance to our normal topic of real estate investing and also will provide a compilation of 20 successful habits from two very popular billionaires which I'm sure you'll recognize - Oprah Winfrey and Enver Yucel Basically, a guy named Paul Brunson worked directly for both Oprah and Enver collectively for 6 years and these 20 success habits are derived from his intimate observations with both billionaires. Enver and Oprah are two extraordinary people and I'm sure you'll find this topic as inspirational and inspiring as I did. Ep #145 - There are multiple areas of your life you will want to create positive/desirable habits around so you can program your mind for success. Good habits, bad habits, all habits are playing their part to create your life for you - so now is the time to choose to direct your habits to create for you rather than against you. Habits to create: Morning - Studying - Fitness - Boundaries - Phone What are things you can do to make it less inconvenient to get into the good habit what are things you can do to make it more inconvenient to get into the bad habit A habit consists of routinized behavior from the subconscious mind so the brain can expend energy doing other tasks. Habitws are taking things that were once using conscious thought and turning them into an unconscious process, i.e. a habit Cue - want (craves reward) Routine - behavior I go through to get the reward Reward - getting the outcome that we desired from the cue The brain dopamine spike comes in anticipation of the reward. when I want to break a bad habit I have to fight against the cue when I want to build a good habit I have to crave the cue and work for it You can't really destroy the habit but you can change it. Habits are like water in a leaky boat, you can scoop out the water but more water is right there to take its place. Similarly, taking a habit out of your life creates a vacuum where your mind now wants to create a new habit. If you don't take actionable, conscious thought into the breaking and creating process your mind will be more than happy to do it for you and you can not be guaranteed the mind will choose the best habit for you. Just hit play and let's dive in with our open minds, hearts, and energies bringing everyone into the fold - you are in the right place, at the right time...right now. It is time. It has been time. To live is to shine. Step into the SUN. Stand up, step forward, raise your hand - it's your turn, I will call on you. ******************************************** Thank you so much for listening and being a part of my tribe and this wonderfully supportive community.
