- 145: Zelda DLC And Overwatch Winter Wonderland - We're getting closer and closer to Christmas and the guys are knocking off as many games as they can before their backlog gets even bigger. Gary is leading off and he's still going through The Evil Within 2. He only plays streaming, which is lucky for us, as we get to witness how many heart attacks he can have in a single sitting. He's also going through Titanfall 2 again because it's only $10 at the moment. Worth it. Then Battlefront. He's still tolerating it just for Darth Maul. I'd say that's fair. And finally, for Gary, since it was just his birthday (30th) he got Horizon. However, he's only two hours in. Next up is Brian, and he's playing Overwatch's Winter Wonderland. Something about Maze vs. Winston and 5 vs 1. Sounds like it's fun. Breath of the Wild's DLC was just released and Brian got a chance to play that too. It reminds him just why the game was Game of the Year winner. But watch out for spoilers. Anthony's got Darksiders 2 on his plate. It's free on Playstation Plus. He's very early on in it. What he's not early on in is Freddy Fazbear's Pizza Simulator. The game starts weird with some 8-bit stuff going on, and then switches up from that. It's free to play, so that's always good. Lastly, Stephen is up. Mario Odyssey is still his go to game. Collecting those moons is a daunting task. What's even more daunting is when you don't leave one area to do it. It's probably worse than the seeds in Breath of the Wild. Probably. - The Drunken News - Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom further delayed until Spring New Harry Potter RPG Coming in 2018 Open World Survival Horror Game The Forest Coming to PS4 Pokemon Crystal Coming To 3DS Next Month Every classic Street Fighter will land in a huge anthology in May 2018 ROCKET LEAGUE SWITCH RETAIL VERSION COMING IN JANUARY The Game Awards crowns The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild best game of 2017 - Extras - Creep us on Facebook Stalk us on Twitter Watch us on YouTube Or throw us that review on iTunes or Stitcher Questions, comments, concerns? On this week’s podcast we have special guests, Matt Intemann and Stephen Bankson. There was a whole gaggle of news that was released this week so the gang attempts to break down each announcement at break-neck speed. The Game Awards provided not only winners for 2017, but also a good bit of large announcements like Soul Caliber 6, a new demo of Death Stranding, Bayonetta 1&2 announcement, and the new Zelda DLC. Playstation Experience was also this past weekend and there were a few announcements from that show as well. The main topic of the show is about Overwatch and it’s continued dominance, and on higher level, Esports and it’s rise in popularity. Thanks for tuning in, to talk about some stuff!
The Game Awards. Plus: Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Destiny 2, Cuphead, Mega Man 11, Zelda DLC 2 & much more!

Edward and Corey discuss the possibility of different art styles for future Mario Games, Zelda DLC, Animal Crossing Mobile, and of course, Super Mario Odyssey.
After this month, we've fully banned "Rock You Like a Hurricane".The Great One episode of Nintendo Free Radio has quite a bit packed into two and a half hours or so. In New Business, Stephen kept pecking away at the Monster Hunter Stories demo - did we mention this thing is LONG? - but we're not sure if he took the plunge. Maybe the Zelda DLC will help. Donald grabbed the demo for Project Octopath Traveler as well as the second good Metroid game of this decade (or ever) in Metroid: Samus Returns. Austen has some brief mentions including blatant Square selling out (because none of their games are) before dealing with the double main event of Life is Strange: Before the Storm episode 1 and the dreaded Knack 2. Thanks to the Nine Network for adding those bits to Donald's hard drive.Whatcha Watchin' covers the Netflix Voltron season 3, with a pitstop at the end of modern Ninja Turtles, before Austen castigates bad casting in Batman v Harley Quinn and violates about twenty copyrights when he visits Big O. Billion dollar debts not included, but probable in that universe. The Feature sort of got rolled into the Mushrooms as we encourage you to donate to a quality organization to help Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands, which are still completely without power as of press time and has a member of the NWR fora living in the former. Also covered: The passing of The Brain, debates over the All-22 film, and Nintendo being Doomed this Christmas. Some big changes are coming to the podcast after the next episode, so keep it locked to our Twitter feed for updates as well as to send suggestions for things to discuss on said episode. E3 2017 wrapped on June 15th and this episode focuses on the Sony, Nintendo, Ubisoft, and EA press conferences. Sony kept a very game-centric show; Opting to minimize speakers on stage and emphasize their games. Among which were some big fan-favorite titles like the next Uncharted. Nintendo brought a line-up of the usual suspects including a new Mario title, some Zelda DLC and much more. Ubisoft Came in determined to win the trophy for awkward press conferences with their reveal of a Mario and Rabbids collaboration. Along with that was a lot of info on big franchises like Assassin's Creed, Far Cry, and more. EA came in with a huge display of Star Wars Battlefront 2, Anthem, Madden, and their usual franchises. In non-E3 related news, we got the incredibly disappointing bit of News that Mass Effect: Andromeda will be receiving no single player DLC. However, it will continue to receive multiplayer DLC and patches/updates. This appears to be Bioware's reaction the the overblown criticism of the game and it's issues at launch. A good DLC could've undone all of the negative perception, but it appears we won't get that chance; The franchise is seemingly on the shelf for the foreseeable future. Important note: This came out through news media and there hasn't been an official announcement from the company to date.

Denne uken snakker Håvard, Håkon og Michael om Zelda DlC'en sine detaljer, Wii U spill vi ønsker lansert på nytt på Switch, viktigheten av E3 i spillsamfunnet og skalering av vanskelighet i spill. After last weeks supersized episode, Joe and Adam are back with another episode covering the week in games. This week saw the announcement of Darksiders 3, which got a collective sigh from the guys. Nintendo outlined pack 1 of the Breath of The Wild DLC, which is mostly fluff, but does have some cool stuff. They ponder the future of some 3ds games, and whether or not they will all just come to Switch. The discuss the God of War release date rumors, as well as DLC info for Injustice 2, and Black Ops III of all games. The episode rounds out with the newest inductees to the Video Game Hall of Fame, and Joe finds himself on the hot seat in this weeks ESRBeatdown.
I don't know why we went wild here, but things were definitely poppin' in this episode. Topics this time around: the New Nintendo 2DS XL, Zelda DLC, TumbleSeed, and Puyo Puyo Tetris.
Nintendo earnings report news, new Zelda DLC info, and a review of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.
Jason just started Nier: Automata, so he and Kirk talk about that for a bit (7:17) before jumping into the news, starting with Zelda's first DLC (18:33). Then, they chat New 2DS XL (24:42) and Darksiders 3 (31:59) before pulling open the listener mailbag to take YOUR questions on all sorts of things, from Switch's VR potential (38:16) to Mass Effect: Andromeda (53:51) to what Kirk and Jason would do if they were put in charge of Bungie and asked to make up some new Destiny games (1:18:02). Assuming Bungie didn't oust them in a grand coup, that is.
