Leprechaun takes us on an insane journey that asks the question "what would happen if we made leprechauns awful?" quite a lot, as it turns out. This film was surprisingly funny, whether it meant to be so or not is up for interpretation. Either way, it's great, crazy, seasonal fun and we recommend you give it a watch after listening to us yell about it in a real hurry. We really lost an icon when Paul Reubens passed so we're celebrating his legacy reviewing Pee-wee on his quest to find his prized bicycle. We take a little trip discussing the origins of the character in the underground L.A. comedy scene of the late 70s, the subversive/punk rock/queer undertones that inform Pee-wee and try and dissect how we can possibly still be laughing at these jokes all these years later. This week on the Exciting & New podcast, Jason, Andy and Dana were visited by the Super Bowl flu and needed to take a week off from recording, so we have uploaded a 1985 episode we did a few years ago in tribute to the recently deceased Paul Ruebens, Pee Wee's Big Adventure.
