« Nous allons rendre l'Escapade aux habitants d'Hénin-Beaumont ! » s'est félicité le maire RN Steeve Briois lors de la présentation de ses vœux, le 26 janvier 2025.
Cette salle de théâtre, qui fut la première MJC de France, véritable poumon culturel dans le bassin minier du Nord-Pas-de-Calais, est passée sous gestion de la municipalité. Un véritable fléau pour ceux pour qui sa programmation de qualité représentait une sorte de rempart à l'idéologie mortifère du Rassemblement National, sans pour autant être autre chose qu'un lieu d'éducation culturelle populaire. Mais pour la municipalité, que la gestion de l'Escapade échappe à leur contrôle était inconcevable. C'est dans cette ancienne cité minière qu'est née Marine Tondelier, secrétaire nationale des Écologistes. Celle-là même qui écrivait en 2017 Nouvelles du Front, où elle racontait son combat politique face à un Front National ayant entamé sa mue vers plus de respectabilité. Un nouveau visage plus lisse, celui-là même représenté par son ami, fidèle parmi les fidèles, Steeve Briois. Cet épisode de Pagaille est une escapade stupéfiante dans la conception d'un pouvoir sans partage et brutal, prêt à tout pour imposer sa vision du monde. Cette semaine, nous mettons la ville de Boulogne-Billancourt à l'honneur à travers son pape, le rappeur Dany Dan. Le jeune Daniel Lakoue est influencé par son grand frère, qui lui fait découvrir, à la fin des années 80, les disques de Public Enemy, N.W.A et Ice-T grâce à la bande originale du film Colors. Dany Dan entre dans la culture hip-hop par le graffiti, discipline dans laquelle il fera ses preuves sous le pseudonyme de Windsor.En parallèle, Dany Dan écoute le Deenastyle sur Radio Nova et commence à rapper en mimant les flows de ses rappeurs préférés. Il rencontre rapidement d'autres passionnés, tels qu'Egosyst, qui lui présente Zoxea et Melopheelo. Avec ces derniers, ils décident de fonder le groupe Les Sages Poètes de la Rue.Le groupe fait ses armes dans les MJC et se structure progressivement. Ils enregistrent une maquette du morceau La Rue, qui parvient entre les mains de Deenasty, le diffusant sur Radio Nova. Cela attire l'attention de Jimmy Jay, le DJ et producteur de la star du rap, alors MC Solaar. Ils signent sur le label de Jimmy Jay et deviennent rapidement le groupe phare, sortant en 1995 le classique Qu'est-ce qui fait marcher les sages ? Dany Dan se distingue déjà des autres rappeurs de l'époque en cultivant un style unique tant sur le fond que dans la forme. Voix, textes, flow : tout y est. Dany Dan n'a pas juste compris le rap, il est le rap.Il sortira quatre albums avec son groupe avant de se lancer dans une carrière solo dans les années 2000. Bien qu'à cette époque on lui ait reproché le choix de ses instrus, Dany Dan ne s'est pas endormi sur ses lauriers et semble être dans une quête artistique ultime jusqu'à aujourd'hui.
