Independent journalists Kit Klarenberg and Tim Norman have conducted significant investigations into the alleged 2018 assassination attempt on Sergei Skripal, a former Russian intelligence officer turned British spy, and his daughter Yulia in Salisbury, England. The episode also covers the related death of Dawn Sturgess in nearby Amesbury, which was recently the subject of a UK inquiry. Skripal, who betrayed Russia for MI6 in the 1990s, was settled in Salisbury after a spy swap in 2010. On March 4, 2018, he and Yulia were found unconscious on a bench, allegedly poisoned by the nerve agent "novichok," which the British government attributed to Russian operatives. The official narrative claims this poison was smeared on Skripal's door, though inconsistencies—such as the delayed onset of symptoms, the survival of the Skripals, and lack of definitive evidence linking the agent to Russia—raise doubts about the UK government's story.Months later, Englishwoman Dawn Sturgess died after reportedly spraying herself with "novichok" from a sealed perfume bottle found by her boyfriend, Charlie Rowley, prompting further accusations against Russia. However, the apparently sealed bottle and the inability of scientists to confirm the nerve agent's origin undermined the government's claims. The British narrative was shaky and possibly propped up by intelligence-linked entities like Bellingcat and the Institute for Statecraft's Integrity Initiative, which may have pushed disinformation. The numbers of children dealing with gender dysphoria is off the charts. The result-- A recent report out of the UK indicated over one-third of children on puberty blockers were experiencing worsened mental health. LifeSiteNews.com has reported on disturbing new data from the Canadian Institute for Health showing hundreds of minor girls from Canada have had their breasts removed in the past 5 years under the guise of treatment for gender confusion. The Washington Free Beacon reported that Planned Parenthood is helping teenagers transition after nothing more than a 30 minute consult, doling out prescriptions for estrogen and testosterone, including to special needs children.--In response, the American College of Pediatricians has launched a new biological integrity initiative with the goal of exposing the dangers of transgender procedures on children. --With more on this issue, Jim welcomed Dr. Jill Simons. Dr. Simons is executive director of the American College of Pediatricians. She is a Board-Certified Pediatrician and is in private practice in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and also a professional staff member of Children's Minnesota and Mercy Hospital.--What is gender dysphoria-- Dr. Simons noted this is a -catch all- phrase that refers to a person that is uncomfortable being the sex that they are. She believes social media is contributing to this problem, but the underlying problem for those suffering from gender dysphoria is mental health. Specifically, this can include anxiety, depression, poor self-esteem, abuse, or they may suffer from autism. In short, they're looking for answers as to why they feel the way they do.

Doctors don't have enough evidence to know the long-term effects of what happens to someone who takes puberty blockers as a child, the executive director of the American College of Pediatricians says. "We know that if you stop puberty with these puberty blockers, you stop a whole sequence of events," Dr. Jill Simons says, adding that there also are "effects on the brain.""There's effects on the biology that you need that for sexual organ development to become fertile in the future," she says.But according to Simon, "There's a lot of things we don't know about stopping puberty, and you can't get that back once you stop the puberty blockers."Given the rise in gender-identity treatments for children, the American College of Pediatricians launched a new initiative Wednesday called the Biological Integrity Initiative to provide not only medical professionals, "but also parents, teachers, policymakers, even teens themselves who are questioning some of these things" with resources and scientific data on the known effects of gender treatments on children, Simons says.Simons joins “The Daily Signal Podcast” to explain what medical professionals do and don't know about the effects of puberty blockers and hormone treatments on young people and what resources the Biological Integrity Initiative offers. With the internet, every ordinary social interaction is now subject to counterinsurgency tactics like COINTELPRO and GLADIO. A federal judge on Tuesday postponed the sentencing for Michael Flynn after he lambasted President Donald Trump's former national security adviser for trying to undermine the country and warned he might not spare Flynn from prison. The stunning development means that special counsel Robert S. Mueller III's engagement with Flynn will continue for some months longer, leaving Flynn to wonder whether he will lose his freedom. Flynn's attorney requested the delay after the judge's opinion became apparent, hoping further cooperation with law enforcement could earn the court's mercy. From the start, US District Judge Emmet G. Sullivan made clear he was infuriated by Flynn's conduct — both in lying to the FBI while in the White House and in working to advance the interests of the Turkish government while he was a part of Trump's campaign.Trump has approved a second round of trade aid payments for US farmers. The USDA expects direct payments to farmers under the program to total $9.567 billion, with around $7.3 billion for soybean farmers, the hardest hit from the trade war. The USDA program includes an additional $1.2 billion in food purchases and around $200 million to develop foreign markets, bringing the total estimated aid to just below $11 billion.
