After a two-month break, I'm back—and y'all know I had to start with the Diddy trial. This week, I'm breaking down the headlines, the charges, and giving my insight on what I think actually went down during those infamous “freak offs.” I unpack the sex trafficking claims, and while I don't excuse anything he did, I'm still trying to understand how it all ties into racketeering and RICO charges. As always, I'm not here to echo the crowd—I'm here to give perspective.I also get into how I filed a report that got Sky's school investigated by the State of California (and I meant every word), rehoming Billie and Ryann (yes, they're gone), one Listener Letter, and of course—Things I Have Beef With is back.Let's get into it.

While in New Zealand, I had the opportunity to interview Kendall Clements, a professor of biology at the University of Auckland. His name may sound familiar because, in 2021, Clements was the lead author of a controversial letter titled "In Defence of Science," published in The New Zealand Listener. The letter (commonly referred to as the “Listener Letter”) was a direct response to a proposed curriculum that sought to promote the discussion and analysis of how science has been used to support the dominance of Eurocentric views, including its role in the “colonization” of Māori peoples and the “suppression” of Māori knowledge.  The curriculum also proposed that science itself, as a Western European invention, could be viewed as a tool of European dominance over Māori and other indigenous groups. We discussed this and more. Watch this episode on YouTube.

Welcome back, Keep Grief Weirdos! In this special mid-break episode, Tracy and MC dive into heartfelt listener letters, share big announcements, and explore the often-overlooked layers of grief—from sibling loss and parental relationships to the challenges of coping during the holiday season. One listener writes in about navigating sibling loss and the emotional complexities of carrying a BRCA1 mutation, sparking a candid discussion about health anxiety, generational grief, and the resilience required to move forward. Another wrote reflecting on the loss of a dream as his daughter builds a life across the country — a poignant reminder that grief isn't always about death but often about the changes in relationships and expectations. Another letter gives us a deeply moving story of finding peace and healing through a serendipitous connection with someone who bridges the divide between life and the afterlife—proof that sometimes the universe works in mysterious ways. A final letter wrote about how hard it can be to let go of the stuff left behind when life circumstances don't allow us to keep them.At the end of the episode, Tracy & MC have a couple of announcements! Two origin stories set in New York in the 1970s are in theaters now, and we have some thoughts on both! First up, SATURDAY NIGHT, depicting the tension-filled first night of NBC's legendary sketch comedy. Does director Jason Reitman's love letter to a TV institution come off like a well-oiled machine -- like SNL circa 1978? Or fall apart under the weight of a faulty premise -- like SNL circa 1994? Listen in for our thoughts! After that, it's the Donald Trump parable THE APPRENTICE, starring Sebastian Stan in the title role and Jeremy Strong as his lawyer/mentor Roy Cohn. We have plenty to say about this one so don't miss it! Plus: The MCU's BLADE reboot hits rough waters, Brian revisits M. Night Shyamalan's SIGNS, Listener Letters, and much more!

They start out as randomly as ever, talking about theater warm-up exercises and those nostalgic AOL chatrooms that shaped our early internet lives. Tracy and MC share some seriously cathartic swearing stories as well as their original AOL handles. But it's not all laughs — things get real as they open up about their experiences with grief. Through listener letters, they explore the bittersweet moments that come when you recognize pieces of your lost loved ones in yourself. This episode also touches on the fascinating intersections of genetics, societal pressures, and the modern obsession with filters and cosmetic tweaks.
