In this very special podcast episode, we are joined by members of the Edufuturists Wolfpack from across the UK, all in festive gear and cheer! We loved being joined in the studio by Dave Leonard, Tara Jones, Christine Mayers, Gaz Lewis, Louisa Rose and Naomi Toland. Poppy Lemar was also due to be with us but got struck down by the dreaded small-child-transmitted-end-of-term-itis. Hope you're feeling better soon, Poppy! We had loads of fun chatting all about our favourite teachers, funniest education moments, what we hope for in 2026 and why it's important to be part of a community. The hour flew by and we definitely could've gone on for hours! Thanks so much to these folks for joining us. Who knows, next year we might do an in-person Christmas special?! Today's episode is one I've been looking forward to for a long time. I had the absolute pleasure of sitting down with the one and only Carrie Alberts, aka Dementia Darling – and let me tell you, she lives up to the name in every way.Carrie's energy is contagious. From her standout pink hair to her heart for the dementia care community, she's built a brand and a movement that's as authentic as it is inspiring. In this episode, we dive into her journey – how a childhood experience planted the seed for her passion in senior care, and how she's grown into one of the most beloved and recognizable voices in the space. We get into everything from her early days navigating what dementia meant for her family, to the power of storytelling, personal branding, and yes – even how pink hair became a strategic marketing move.Whether you're in senior living, caregiving, or just need a dose of positivity and purpose, Carrie's story is packed with wisdom, laughs, and real talk.

New ‘Sode. Alas, as I sit polishing my ninja green Birkin bag buckle, alone after being dumped by a ParaFI partner, I ponder what went wrong in 2024 in Glitter and Crypto. There was the horrifying misunderstanding at Neiman Marcus ETH Denver that resulted in my shoplifting misdemeanor, the disappointing lack of staking in the ETH ETF that left most of my circle lightly slitting their wrists to the soundtrack of Usher Let it Burn, NFTs left completely out of the ERA's tour, Caroline Ellison's refusal to wear anything cute at her trial, . I am high on AI generated meth with excitement for the 2025 Chinese New Year of the Snake, which can only bring good fortune. I have so many hopes and dreams for 2025 that I hope my AI avatar bot can pin to my vision board in time for the year new me new meme coin. I digress. My guest is the fabulous Susan Oh. AI Afficiando who was recently beat up in a hotel room by her co-founder (and is OK) and was able to stop at Glitter Ledger Headquarters on her way to press charges before heading back to Bali. Susan has the IQ of Marilyn Monroe. Her story upbringing is fascinating. She and her family fled South Korea's military dictatorship and then left Iran before the Ayatollah took over; and she family assumed refugee status for 8= months in the UK, before they were sponsored in Canada, where she grew up. She then became a teenage chain smoking punk rocker out at gay discos. Susan then had a career in journalism, media, AI and crypto all mixed together in a big clay pot thrown into a Kiln of glitter and madness before developing her baby Muckr AI, a company that uses AI to flag disinformation. Unfortunately, the funding has had some interesting bumps. Listen on. Happy New Year. #GlitterLedger.

Full Disclosure Fridays. I talk about my MOM a lot on my podcast and in my social media posts. It took a long time for us to have the relationship we do now, so that's something I'm proud of and happy about. What you may not know is that she is a hairdresser. And her favorite thing is coloring hair, including her own. I'm calling this episode pink hair don't care, because literally, the first time she came to speak with me she had Pink Hair. She has a great message for any parent who did not attend college and therefore, doesn't believe they can help their child get admitted to college. YOU can. In this episode, I share Mom's secret. In this episode of Literally First Class Podcast, Keri talks about setting boundaries for yourself. It's fundamental to be mindful of your time and energy and selective about what you pay attention to. Especially for entrepreneurs, time is your most valuable asset, and you don't owe anyone your time. It's not just a matter of organization and having a structure. Being picky about who gets the chance to have your attention is also a matter of protecting your peace of mind. Many times we are influenced by other people's energy. Keri encourages you to find out where your energy leaks are. An important part of this process is communicating your boundaries - to your clients, partner, or co-workers. Openly let them know what you are willing to do or not, and don't be afraid to say no. These limits are not only necessary but also an act of self-love.
