The families of Americans imprisoned in Iran are being buffeted by a sort of psychological warfare between adversarial states. Over the weekend, Iran's foreign minister said a prisoner swap agreement between his country and the US has been brokered, and now the ball's in America's court – but Washington quickly quashed that. The State Department's Ned Price called it “a cruel lie that only adds to the suffering of their families.” This follows the heartbreaking appeal made by Iranian-American Siamak Namazi when Christiane spoke with him from inside Evin prison last week. Today's first guest, Bill Richardson, has made it his mission to try to help – he's a former cabinet secretary, US Ambassador to the UN, and a longtime interlocutor with regimes like Russia, North Korea, and more to secure the release of American captives.  Also on today's show: Tara Tahbaz, the daughter of Morad Tahbaz, detained in Iran since 2019; Alexander Betts, author of “The Wealth of Refugees”; Dr. Fatima Cody Stanford, Obesity Medicine Physician, Massachusetts General Hospital To learn more about how CNN protects listener privacy, visit cnn.com/privacy

Good afternoon, I'm _____ with today's episode of EZ News. **Tai-Ex opening ** The Tai-Ex opened up 9-points this morning from yesterday's close, at 15,827 on turnover of 1.8-billion N-T. The market closed slightly lower on Wednesday despite recouping most of its early losses sparked by remarks from U-S Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell - who warned that America's central bank could continue its current rate hike cycle. Foreign institutional investors turned cautious about further rate hikes by the U-S Fed, but local investors remained willing to pick up bargains on the local main board during the day's trading session to lend some support to the broader market. **Kevin McCarthy Confirms Tsai Meeting ** U-S House Speaker Kevin McCarthy has confirmed that he will meet with President Tsai Ing-wen in the United States early next month. However, McCarthy says that meeting does not preclude (排除) a possible trip to Taiwan at a later date. The U-S House speaker is also dismissing reports that the meeting in California is being held to avoid possible confrontation with China and that both sides were uneasy that a visit would severely increase cross-strait tensions if he were to visit Taiwan According to McCarthy, Beijing can't tell him where or when to go and the Taiwan president just happens to be in America. U-S State Department spokesman Ned Price is describing Tsai's travel as "transit" rather than a "visit" to the United States. **More Newborns Eligible for NT$6,000 Cash Handouts ** The Ministry of Finance has announced that babies born to Taiwanese citizens before the end of this year will be eligible (有資格的) to receive one-off cash payments of 6,000 N-T drawn from the government's 2022 tax surplus. The ministry had previously said that only children born within six months following the starting of disbursement of the tax rebates would be included in the groups eligible for the payments. However, the eligibility criteria has now been expanded to cover newborns born by December 31, 2023. Reports say the expansion of the cash handout program will require around 200-million N-T in additional funding. **Malaysia Summons Former PM for Abuse Allegations ** Malaysia's anti-graft agency has summoned former prime minister Muhyiddin Yassin following allegations of abuse in stimulus programmes launched under his leadership of the country. He's denied the accusations and described them as a political vendetta (仇殺、仇殺). Patrick Fok reports. **UN Criticizes Taliban Repression of Women and Girls ** The United Nations says that since the Taliban takeover of Afghanistan, the country has become the most repressive (嚴厲的, 強硬的) in the world for women and girls. The U.N. mission to Kabul said in a statement released Wednesday that Afghanistan's new rulers have shown an almost singular ( 特別的,奇特的) focus on imposing rules that leave most women and girls effectively trapped in their homes. The special representative of the U.N. secretary-general and head of the mission to Afghanistan, says it's ""been distressing to witness their methodical, deliberate, and systematic efforts to push Afghan women and girls out of the public sphere.” That was the I.C.R.T. news, Check in again tomorrow for our simplified version of the news, uploaded every day in the afternoon. It's Friday, March 3rd, A.D. 2023. This is The Worldview in 5 Minutes heard at www.TheWorldview.com. I'm Adam McManus. By Adam McManus (Adam@TheWorldview.com) State Dept. urges Burmese military to release Christian leader On February 23rd, the U.S. government condemned the Myanmar military's arrest and detention of Baptist leader Hkalam Samson, reports International Christian Concern. Samson is the former head of the Kachin Baptist Convention, a group located in northern Myanmar's Kachin state that represents much of the nation's Christian minority. He was detained in December 2022 by authorities under the military junta that seized power two years ago.   State Department spokesman Ned Price issued this challenge. PRICE: “We condemn the Burma military regime's arrest and detention of prominent ethnic Kachin Christian leader Rev. [Hkalam] Samson. We are extremely concerned for his wellbeing and safety and encourage our partners and allies to join us in calling on the regime to drop all charges and immediately and unconditionally release Rev. Samson.” Pastor arrested for objecting to children's drag queen story hour Yesterday afternoon, Pastor Derek Reimer was arrested by members of the dictatorial Calgary Police Service after being warned the previous day there were two warrants out for his arrest because he protested at a children's drag queen story time at a public library last weekend, reports LifeSiteNews.com. A video, posted online by Rebel News, shows Reimer, who serves as the pastor of Mission7 street ministry, being put into the back of a police cruiser by two female officers. Tucker Carlson of Fox News described the scene that had been videotaped by Rebel News, one of the few conservative Canadian outlets. CARLSON: “The pastor, sitting in a car with bars on the windows, getting hauled away to jail for being thrown to the ground at Drag Queen Story Hour.” Before the Canadian policewoman raised the rear window of the cop car in which Reimer was detained, he said, “This is what happens when we go against the drag queens.”  She was able to cut off the last word of his sentence. (Watch this video between 1:28 and 1:37.) Listen. REIMER: “This is what happens when you go against drag [queens.]” This past Saturday, Reimer had been protesting at a kids' Drag Queen Story Time event held at the Seton Calgary public library. Outrageously, the pastor was ruffed up and thrown to the ground for simply verbally opposing the sexualization of children at taxpayers' expense. Ezra Levant, Founder of Rebel News, appeared with Tucker Carlson on Fox News. LEVANT: “Tucker, you have done more journalism on Christian pastors being jailed in Canada than most Canadian media. In fact, the Canadian media either ignore it or cheer it on, calling these people bigots.” He explained who inspired the arrest of Pastor Reimer. LEVANT: “The Left wing mayor of Calgary, [Jyoti Gondek], went on a Twitter rant saying that anyone who lies or engages in vitriol or is full of hate should be arrested and charged. Now, those aren't crimes, by the way. Some of them are a matter of opinion. I could think that the mayor is full of hate. But after the mayor basically directed police to arrest peaceful protesters, they did.” Isaiah 5:20 says, “Woe to those who call evil good and good evil." You can send a polite email of objection to Calgary Mayor Gondek through a special link in our transcript today at www.TheWorldview.com. If you'd like to help with the legal expenses of getting Pastor Derek Reimer out of jail after being falsely arrested, you can make a donation at SavePastorDerek.com. Plus, you can encourage Pastor Reimer with a 1-2 sentence email. derek@mission7ministries.com (7 is the number) Christian host Todd Starnes calls for Biden's impeachment As the Conservative Political Action Conference got underway yesterday in Fort Washington, Maryland, Christian talk show host Todd Starnes, in a sit-down conversation on stage with Republican Congressman Ralph Norman of South Carolina, called for the impeachment of President Joe Biden. STARNES: “I know that Speaker McCarthy said a couple of months back that he's seen nothing that Biden's done that would be worthy of impeachment.  But it seems violating the oath of office and not protecting this nation from enemies foreign and domestic, letting that balloon invade our airspace, that is worthy of impeachment.” Lesbian Chicago mayor defeated Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who made headlines a couple of years ago when she became the first black woman and first homosexual to lead the Windy City, has lost reelection, reports The Christian Post.  She entered into a faux marriage with Amy Eshelman in 2015 when it was first possible to do so. On Tuesday, Lightfoot came in third place, finishing behind long-serving public school official Paul Vallas and Cook County Commissioner Brandon Johnson. Vallas, who ran on a staunchly pro-police platform, and Johnson, who had strong backing from liberals and labor unions, will square off in a runoff mayoral election on April 4. FCA ships $1 million of sports equipment to Ukrainian coaches and athletes And finally, Fellowship of Christian Athletes is partnering with Convoy of Hope to send a full shipping container which includes 40 pallets of sports equipment to Ukraine. The total value of the materials is over $1 million. Sasha Aleksandrov, FCA Ukraine Director, said, “Because of the war, sports equipment has been destroyed or abandoned.” Hundreds of FCA staff, volunteers, and donors came together from across America to donate new and used equipment for Ukrainian coaches and athletes. Andriy Kravtsov said, “My heart is full of joy because I see the goodness of God through faithful and generous people.” Acts 20:35 says, “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Close And that's The Worldview on this Friday, March 3rd, in the year of our Lord 2023. Subscribe by iTunes or email to our unique Christian newscast at www.

Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said on Tuesday that Moscow was open to talks with the the US or with Turkey on ending the war in Ukraine, claiming that US officials are lying when they say Russia has been refusing peace talks. Lavrov's claim was given more weight when US State Department spokesman Ned Price dismissed the offer for peace talks shortly after it was extended, citing Russia's recent missile strikes on Kyiv. Given the dangerous state of U.S.-China relations, further American aggressiveness could vastly escalate already soaring tensions. Besides China, North Korea is feeling squeezed by the American Empire and has recently conducted more cruise missile tests. The U.S. is currently conducting war games with Japan and South Korea and has more planned with Seoul, kicking off next week, that could include many tens of thousands of troops. Russian territory is continually being attacked in Crimea by U.S./NATO backed Ukraine. An explosion just rocked an ammunition depot in the northern part of the peninsula, with unnamed Ukrainian officials again taking credit as with similar incidents last week. President Joe Biden received a letter this week from 77 family members of 9/11 victims demanding that he release the $7 billion in Afghan central bank reserves held by the FED. U.S. officials recently said they would not be returning any of the money to Afghanistan, even though millions of people are facing death by starvation as a result of the sanctions policy against the Taliban as well as the liquidity crisis exacerbated by Washington's theft. Biden signed an executive order that would make $3.5 billion of the Afghan funds available to 9/11 families. The letter's signatories said this would be “legally suspect and morally wrong.” They said the money belongs to the Afghan people. Iran says there are three issues that must be resolved before they can agree to sign the ostensibly “final” draft the EU has proposed to restore the JCPOA. Washington initially refused to negotiate the draft text they already accepted. However, a day later the State Department spokesman Ned Price announced they were studying Iran's response to the European bloc. The Kuwaitis have appointed an ambassador to Iran and there are indications the UAE may follow suit soon. This throws at least some cold water on efforts to build a NATO style, anti-Iran alliance led by Washington and Tel Aviv. The Israeli national security adviser is headed to Washington reportedly out of fear that the U.S. may actually be considering reentering the JCPOA.   Odysee Rumble  Donate LBRY Credits bTTEiLoteVdMbLS7YqDVSZyjEY1eMgW7CP Donate Bitcoin 36PP4kT28jjUZcL44dXDonFwrVVDHntsrk Donate Bitcoin Cash Qp6gznu4xm97cj7j9vqepqxcfuctq2exvvqu7aamz6 Patreon Subscribe Star YouTube Facebook  Twitter  MeWe Apple Podcast  Amazon Music Google Podcasts Spotify iHeart Radio Support Our Sponsor Visit Paloma Verde and use code PEACE for 20% off our CBD

Good Monday everyone, this is Garrison Hardie with your CrossPolitic Daily News Brief, for Monday, June 27th, 2022. Before I dive into the news, here’s something I want to remind you of immediately! Lies, Propaganda, Story Telling, and the Serrated Edge: This year our national conference is in Knoxville, TN October 6th-8th. The theme of this year’s conference is Lies, Propaganda, Storytelling and the Serrated Edge. Satan is the father of lies, and the mother of those lies is a government who has rejected God. We have especially been lied to these last two years, and the COVIDpanic has been one of the central mechanisms that our government has used to lie to us and to grab more power. Because Christians have not been reading their bibles, we are susceptible to lies and weak in our ability to fight these lies. God has given us His word to fight Satan and his lies, and we need to recover all of God’s word, its serrated edge and all. Mark your calendars for October 6th-8th, as we fight, laugh and feast with fellowship, beer and Psalms, our amazing lineup of speakers, hanging with our awesome vendors, meeting new friends, and more. Early bird tickets are available now, but will be gone before you know it!.. This Thursday! Sign up now at flfnetwork.com Now… here’s what you may have missed, over the weekend… The Tampa Bay Lightning had done just enough to force a game 6, and last night it came down to the wire: Stanley Cup Final Game 6: Colorado Avalanche vs. Tampa Bay Lightning | Full Game Highlights -Play 8:31-9:01 The Colorado Avalanche are your new Stanley Cup Champions, after defeating Tampa Bay 2-1 in game 6. I was sort of hoping I’d get to see a 3-peat out of the lightning, but the Avalanche clearly deserved to win this series, so congratulations to them! https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2022/06/27/california-working-on-denying-gun-permits-based-on-ideological-viewpoints-n478907 California working on denying gun permits based on "ideological viewpoints" The Supreme Court’s decision in Bruen on Thursday didn’t simply shoot down New York’s onerous “good-cause requirement” in the gun permit application process. It set up similar laws in other states for likely revocation. One of those states is California, where they have their own requirement that applicants must show a “good cause” or “special need” before a carry permit is issued. State Attorney General Rob Bonta sent out a letter on Friday to law enforcement and government attorneys noting the change and saying that the state’s current “may issue” regime should be able to be converted to a “shall issue” regime with few modifications. So that’s good news, right? Not so fast. As Eugene Volokh points out at Reason, Bonta pivoted from signaling compliance with the new SCOTUS ruling to identifying another way to deny permits to people with no criminal record. He claims that the ruling will not impact the existing requirement for applicants to be able to demonstrate that they are “of good moral character.” On that basis, the state can start snooping around to see if you hold any unauthorized opinions or are prone to demonstrate “hatred and racism.” And how would they know that? Well, by going through your social media accounts, of course. Other jurisdictions list the personal characteristics one reasonably expects of candidates for a public-carry license who do not pose a danger to themselves or others. The Riverside County Sheriff’s Department’s policy, for example, currently provides as follows: “Legal judgments of good moral character can include consideration of honesty, trustworthiness, diligence, reliability, respect for the law, integrity, candor, discretion, observance of fiduciary duty, respect for the rights of others, absence of hatred and racism, fiscal stability, profession-specific criteria such as pledging to honor the constitution and uphold the law, and the absence of criminal conviction.” [Emphasis added.] As a starting point for purposes of investigating an applicant’s moral character, many issuing authorities require personal references and/or reference letters. Investigators may personally interview applicants and use the opportunity to gain further insight into the applicant’s character. And they may search publicly-available information, including social media accounts, in assessing the applicant’s character. As Volokh goes on to explain, this entire scheme appears to be completely unconstitutional. It’s a violation of the First Amendment before we even begin to examine how it would hold up under the Second Amendment. The government is not allowed to restrict your actions or suspend your Constitutional rights based on the viewpoints you express, even if they are unpopular with the current regime. https://americanmilitarynews.com/2022/06/us-troops-surpass-100000-in-europe The U.S. military has steadily built up its presence in Europe in the four months since the Russian invasion of Ukraine began. More than 100,000 U.S. troops are in Europe today, compared to around 70,000 around the start of the Russian invasion. Last week, North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg said the U.S. “increased the number of U.S. troops in Europe from roughly 70,000 to more than 100,000 over these last months.” In addition to the overall U.S. force size in Europe, Stoltenberg noted there are more than 40,000 troops from various countries under NATO’s direct command that are positioned on the eastern edge of the alliance. NATO’s force consists of troops from a variety of alliance member nations. In a May 20 U.S. State Department press briefing, department spokesman Ned Price had confirmed the U.S. plans to maintain an ongoing presence of 100,000 troops in Europe. While the U.S. presence in Europe has risen in response to Russia, questions remain about whether the U.S. can maintain this presence in the long run. With no plans for the U.S. and NATO to directly intervene in the conflict in Ukraine — beyond providing Ukrainian forces weapons, supplies and training — the missions of U.S. and NATO forces is primarily to ensure the conflict in Ukraine doesn’t spill over into NATO countries. Bradley Bowman, senior director of the Center on Military and Political Power at the Washington-based Foundation for Defense of Democracies think tank told the Washington Times last week that the U.S. troop build-up in Europe could come at the expense of U.S. readiness in other parts of the world, like the Indo-Pacific region where Chinese forces have expanded their presence. So that’s what’s going on overseas, let’s shift back to the home front, where I’ve got to ask you… are you happy with your job? Because if not, I want to tell you about RedBalloon! Redballoon Not so long ago, the American dream was alive and well. Wade. As the New York Post reports, several others were arrested during the Los Angeles riot, including 23-year-old Juliana Bernardo who allegedly tried to steal a police officer's baton amid skirmishes with law enforcement. The pro-abortion protestors shut down the LA freeway, harassed and attacked drivers, broke building windows, and lobbed a firework explosive at police. Video posted by The Post Millennial's Andy Ngo shows Ortiz discharging the makeshift weapon while hiding behind a black bloc militant who was holding an umbrella. Ortiz allegedly fired the flames around 8:20 pm amidst a progressively violent riot. LAPD Police Chief Michel Moore said in a statement that, "Individuals participating in such criminal activity are not exercising their 1st Amendment rights in protest of the Supreme Court decision. Rather, they are acting as criminals. The Department will vigorously pursue prosecution of these individuals." The violence comes after radical pro-abortion groups have called for nationwide protests including one group, Jane's Revenge, promising a "Night of Rage" to protest the Supreme Court overturning Roe v Wade. Now let’s end with some good news, and the topic that I love… sports! https://www.foxnews.com/politics/high-school-football-coach-scores-big-win-supreme-court-post-game-prayer High school football coach scores big win at Supreme Court over post-game prayer The Supreme Court handed a big win to a former Washington high school football coach who lost his job over reciting a prayer on the 50-yard line after games. At issue was whether a public school employee praying alone but in view of students was engaging in unprotected "government speech," and if it is not government speech, does it still pose a problem under the First Amendment's Establishment Clause. The Supreme Court ruled Monday in a 6-3 decision that the answer to both questions is no. "Here, a government entity sought to punish an individual for engaging in a brief, quiet, personal religious observance doubly protected by the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment. And the only meaningful justification the government offered for its reprisal rested on a mistaken view that it had a duty to ferret out and suppress," Justice Neil Gorsuch wrote in the Court's opinion. "Religious observances even as it allows comparable secular speech. The Constitution neither mandates nor tolerates that kind of discrimination." Joe Kennedy was a junior varsity head coach and varsity assistant coach with the Bremerton School District in Washington from 2008 to 2015. He began the practice of reciting a post-game prayer by himself, but eventually students started joining him. According to court documents, this evolved into motivational speeches that included religious themes. After an opposing coach brought it to the principal's attention, the school district told Kennedy to stop. He did, temporarily, then notified the school that he would resume the practice. The situation garnered media attention, and when Kennedy announced that he would go back to praying on the field, it raised security concerns. When he did pray after the game, a number of people stormed the field in support. The school district then offered to let Kennedy pray in other locations before and after games, or for him to pray on the 50-yard line after everyone else had left the premises, but he refused, insisting that he would continue his regular practice. After continuing the prayers at two more games, the school district placed Kennedy on leave. "That reasoning was misguided," the majority opinion said. "Both the Free Exercise and Free Speech Clauses of the First Amendment protect expressions like Mr. Kennedy’s. Nor does a proper understanding of the Amendment’s Establishment Clause require the government to single out private religious speech for special disfavor. " Gorsuch stated that not just the Constitution, but "the best of our traditions" call for "mutual respect and tolerance, not censorship and suppression, for religious and nonreligious views alike." The Court's ruling also stated that there is a distinct reason for why speech like Kennedy's is protected by both the Free Speech and Free Exercise Clauses. "That the First Amendment doubly protects religious speech is no accident. It is a natural outgrowth of the framers’ distrust of government attempts to regulate religion and suppress dissent," Gorsuch wrote. Another win, by the Supreme Court… Keep our Supreme Court Justices in your prayers, as they will undoubtedly be a target. It is a natural outgrowth of the framers’ distrust of government attempts to regulate religion and suppress dissent," Gorsuch wrote. 2838 - What Is The Future Of Sex? w/ Amia Srinivasan & Melanie D'Arrigo

Emma hosts Amia Srinivasan, Professor of Social and Political Theory at the University of Oxford, to discuss her recent book The Right to Sex: Feminism in the 21st Century. Then Emma is joined by Melanie D'Arrigo, candidate for Congress in New York's 3rd district, to give us an update from the campaign trail. Prof. Srinivasan and Emma dive right into the biggest news of the last two weeks, taking on their initial reactions to the Roe v. Wade leak, from the instinctive and personal horror to deranged awe for the American conservatives seeing their strategy of the last half-century finally come to fruition, before getting into the questions this decision raises and what the future of reproductive rights looks like when the party defending them is constantly inert. Next, they turn to Professor Srinivasan's book, looking at the divide between the sphere of politics and the private sphere, and how she follows in the path of emphasizing the inherently political nature of feminism and sex. First looking to the feminisms of the ‘60s and '70, Emma and Amia discuss this repoliticization of private issues, as concepts like abortion, family structure, childcare, and education became central to the feminist fight, alongside a birth of sex positivity, before the ‘80s rolled around and saw pushback amidst feelings of encouraging sex on men's terms, looking beyond just consent at the larger coercive factors. This brings Professor Srinivasan to an analysis of the neoliberal market ideology, with consent and contracts as the only moral factor, considering sexual freedom along the same lines of tradeoffs, particularly around status, and how this analysis can be used to pushback, particularly against incel misogyny. They then look to the development of feminisms' stances on porn, with the antithesis to sex positivity seeing porn as the lynchpin of patriarchy and a training ground for men's subjugation of women, despite the large inaccessibility of porn at the time, before the boom of the internet in the 21st Century saw it become almost ubiquitous in much of the Western world, and thus plagued by monopoly and corruption as a neoliberal institution. Emma and Amia pin that conversation with a discussion on the importance of a sex-worker-owned-and-led world of porn as the only one where they can have a sense of security, before they wrap up the interview with a discussion on #MeToo, and the racialization and classism involved in rape accusations and where they go in the legal world. Then, Melanie D'Arrigo discusses her campaign in NY-3, and engaging as a progressive with notoriously conservative constituents. Emma also covers Israel's murder of journalist Shereen Abu Aqleh, Finland getting closer to joining NATO, and Manchin's objection to giving women rights, when that's not what some Americans want! And in the Fun Half: Emma is joined by Matt and Brandon as they listen in awe to Randy Zuckerberg's crypto anthem sequel, before having an extensive discussion on the recent crypto collapse and the role of Luna and Terra currencies in the drop. Bryan in the Poconos gives some updates on the PA Senate race on both the left and right, Ned Price, representing Biden's administration, does anything but address Israeli war crimes, entrusting the IDF to investigate whether or not they're murderers, and the crew discusses constitutional reform and Latin America. Jordan Peterson declares the Bible as the basis for truth itself and Dennis Prager gets covid (again), plus, your calls and IMs! Zimolong takes us inside the back and forth with Commonwealth Court judges, discussing arguments made by judges, including one that brings race into the debate. In addition, Giordano and Zimolong tell about the detrimental nature of allowing lax mail-in voting, and both offer why Pennsylvanians would benefit by ending Act 77. Then, after Wally, Giordano circles back to strategizing the response to Putin's invasion into Ukraine, playing back a clip of CNN's Jim Sciutto asking Biden spokesperson Ned Price why the administration continues to refuse a no-fly zone. Giordano takes umbrage with this suggestion, again explaining how a no-fly-zone would be met with ramped up retaliation by Putin. In the clip, Sciutto asks whether Putin essentially has veto power, and Dom agrees with this sentiment in a sense, explaining that we need to be careful to not draw ourselves into the next World War.

The Boys were reluctantly monitoring the opening ceremony for this year's Olympics, and China trotted out a Uyghur muslim, while NBC helped deliver the narrative. Chinese authorities remove a Dutch journalist during a report, and an AP reporter takes down Ned Price in a press conference. A Virginia mother tees off against the school board over mandates, and a doctor warns of medical totalitarianism amid the COVID-19 crackdown. Speaker Nancy Pelosi tells American Olympic athletes to shut up and dribble, and MSNBC holds the governor of Texas accountable for not being able to stop the rain from falling. Major news outlets completely ignore the Johns Hopkins report on COVID lockdowns, and a cold snap has consumed the country, as well as The Friday Five – Best Cold, Ice, Snow, and Freeze Songs.

Keri and Carter are joined by special guest Lee Stranahan, host of The Backstory on Radio Sputnik. Lee lays out a counter-narrative to the rising tensions in Ukraine, linking it to Russiagate propaganda. Carter remains skeptical of both the US and Russian government narratives, and after Lee's departure he and Keri laugh at Ned Price's pathetic press conference in which he attempts to pass off arbitrary claims as "evidence." Journalists were critical during two exchanges Thursday; one between Jen Psaki and NPR's Ayesha Rascoe, in which Rascoe was skeptical about the story regarding civilian casualties during the raid that killed the leader of ISIS in Syria; and another exchange between State Department spokesman Ned Price and AP reporter Matt Lee, where Lee expressed skepticism about U.S. intel that suggests Russia may engineer a fake attack by Ukraine. #Biden #Russia #ISIS #war See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Boys hope they won't have a need for monoclonal antibodies, since the FDA pulled back on their use. Ned Price doesn't understand the Afghanistan comparison, and The Today Show just figured out carjackings are a problem these days. President Joe Biden calls Peter Doocy of Fox News a “stupid son of a bitch,” and then called Doocy later to say, “It's nothing personal, pal.” A hospital denied a man a heart transplant, because he had not been vaccinated. Neil Young told Spotify to remove Joe Rogan, or remove his songs, and Elon Musk's Neuralink makes its next move to begin human trials. An Afghan refugee was convicted of sexually abusing a 3-year-old girl in Virginia, and the Super Bowl 56 logo looks like a bloody crime scene.

M&R have been looking forward to Friday all week long. As we watch the border crisis get more out of control, the Biden administration actively tries to prevent accurate coverage by the media. The need for vaccine boosters is being determined, but we are seeing more cases of break through cases, and still no addressing of natural immunities. Authorities in Trinidad and Tobago felt their time was wasted investigating the claims of Nicki Minaj, and they sounded off about it. An Ohio mayor told the school board they were guilty of child pornography, and demanded resignignations or they would face charges. American Airlines removed an asthmatic toddler from a flight, while the child can be heard struggling to breathe in video from the flight. Bill Maher interviewed Jimmy Kimmel, and Maher demonstrates why he may be liberals' voice of common sense. We were told that Americans that wanted to leave Afghanistan would be evacuated, and Ned Price tries to explain why there are still Americans there that want out. General Mark Milley is said to have communicated with China in a very treasonous way, and the general sloughed off the accusations, calling those types of calls “routine.” A Friday Five to honor National Women's Friendship Day -- Best Women Bands.

MVC&R are well aware that the situation in Afghanistan is complex, but thankfully Ned Price is around to confirm as much. The media completely freaked out over the Texas abortion law, which took effect at the beginning of September. Stella Parton seems to think American women have it worse than Afghan women, and Don Lemon isn't convinced that the stranded Americans in Afghanistan were actually left behind. The California teacher who bragged about removing the American flag has also been removed, and the State Department is telling Afghans to not move to California. “Mission Impossible” and other movies have been pushed back due to COVID, and a woman blasts a California school board demanding the removal of leftist teachers.
