Jessica Jones is coming for its last and final season on Netflix. It is time to dust off my old ranting skills and Dive into Trish walker aka Hellcat. Jessica Jones for the most part I did enjoy, and I feel they were consistent with the lore they created for their own universe BUT my main problem (Like I stated already) is Trish Walker. Let us know any questions and theories you may have about Jessica Jones season 3 or the series as a whole. Welcome the newest episode of Dark Discussions, your place for the discussion of horror film, fiction, and all that’s fantastic. As folks know, Marvel’s extensive universe includes comics, movies, and television shows. Specifically the Marvel Cinematic Universe for television (or simply Marvel Television) includes a number of shows that seem to cross over multiple networks. But Netflix has a handful that includes a group of characters that have become the superhero team, The Defenders. One such character, Jessica Jones, is an interesting personality as her comic back-story includes being an ex-superhero who now decides to do private eye work. Though having super strength, Jessica Jones chooses to work for Alias Investigations, her one-woman outfit that habitually works on extramarital affair cases. Helping her along, she has her sister, Trish Walker, a former child starlet which now officiates an investigative radio talk show. During the two seasons of the show, people who have haunted Jessica return to cause havoc not only within her own life but throughout New York City. Jessica must use her investigating instincts to stop the antagonists while also keeping her own personal demons in check. Krysten Ritter, best known prior for her role in Breaking Bad, stars as the eponymous lead. The show brings this lesser known Marvel character to the screen with mostly positive reviews. The 22 episodes include large supporting roles by known talent including Rachael Taylor, Carrie-Anne Moss, Rebecca De Mornay, and David Tennant. Dark Discussions Podcast takes a look at this unconventional “superhero” show and gives their thoughts. As always we welcome your comments: darkdiscussions@aol.com (written email or attached mp3 files) WWW.DARKDISCUSSIONS.COM
Malcolm Ducasse goes back to college and Trish Walker goes on the prowl in our Jessica Jones 206 Review of "AKA Facetime" we talk about our top five case notes about this episode in our Spoiler filled discussion. As always make sure you've watched the episode before listening to the podcast. Jessica Jones 206 Review Podcast Spoiler filled Synopsis Written by: Raelie Tucker Directed by: Jet Wilkinson Trish Walker (Rachael Taylor) becomes addicted to the I.G.H. drug, and starts looking for criminals to attack. Security footage from outside the aquarium shows Dr Karl Malus (Callum Keith Rennie) drugging the woman (Janet McTeer) and forcing her to leave with him, despite the pair appearing to be a loving couple before. Jessica Jones (Krysten Ritter) sends Malcolm Ducasse (Eka Darville) to his old university—where he was suspended for his previous drug habit—to investigate Dr Malus; they learn of Justis Ambrose (Mel Johnson Jnr.), who attended university with Dr. Malus and appears to have been paying for all his personal expenses for years. Jessica confronts Justis Ambrose, who explains that his son Eric (Da'Vinchi) was born with a fatal genetic defect which Dr. Malus cured with his experimental treatments. Eric appears to have no special abilities, and Jones threatens him to gain Dr. Malus's location. Sit down and get a bottle of whiskey handy because we're breaking down everything that happened during Jessica Jones Season 2, which debuted on Netflix last week. Joining Mick and Adrienne today, again, will be CinemaBlend Events Editor (and all around expert on superhero stuff) Eric Eisenberg. Jessica has set herself on the daunting task of finding the people who experimented on her against her will and gave her powers. And, lucky for us, that mission is going to lead to some intriguing discoveries for Jessica, Trish, Malcolm and the rest of Jessica's friends and enemies.
The Ringer’s Mallory Rubin and Jason Concepcion explore how the past haunts characters in the sophomore season of ‘Jessica Jones’ (16:08), discuss a fictional New York City prison in the Marvel Universe (50:52), highlight seven of the strangest Trish Walker moments from the season (56:17), and award the champion’s purse to the women who created the show (1:05:06).

Note: We like our language NSFW salty, and there be spoilers here…Face Front, True Believer! Our attempts to record an episode on the Jessica Jones TV show from Netflix have been plagued by delays and technical difficulties, including only recording five minutes of an hour-long first try that mostly centered on co-hosts Illegal Machine and Diabolu Frank! We finally got a full length show “on tape,” with a fired-up Mister Fixit besides, so sorry that the audio quality is like unto tin cans connected by string! First we give an overview of the history of Marvel Comics’ adults-only MAX imprint, with special mentions for Punisher, Nick Fury, and… Rawhide Kid? Then we look at Alias, the three year long solo series where the super-heroine Jewel, A.K.A. Jessica Jones, made her debut (and which provided the source material for the television adaptation!) Finally, we get into the TV show itself, which trades Carol Danvers for Trish Walker as the star’s bestie and emphasizes Luke Cage as her love interest (in his own live action debut!)Excelsior! As you can tell, we love a fierce conversation, so why don’t you socialize with us, either by leaving a comment on this page or…Friend us on FacebookRoll through our tumblrEmail us at rolledspinepodcasts@gmail.comTweet us as a group @rolledspine, or individually as Diabolu Frank & Illegal Machine. Leviathan CGI was interesting, not great, not crappy Compressed light blasts - aww yeah Bad-ass punch to the head Kendra v Savage Really liked the mace effect Kendra laid into Savage and Carter with a bad ass spiked mace - no blood Legends and Cassandra Savage v. Shock Troops Casandra with the throwing knife in the back … But why did they stand around when they had Savage at the start Time Travel: Share your thoughts He knows where his family is even though they were at Whitechapel - can't get his family to safety. OK, so no matter what he does Savage's forces keep killing his family - time wants his family to die, yet he's still trying to change it. Rip Hunter Running into the final battle at the rally with no real plan - yet another example of not great captaining A bit of a dick not wanting the refugees on board Gideon He basically gives up when the Waverider is damaged. Vandal Savage Great speech at the start Vandal Savage's Daughter - Cassandra Savage Decent training montage with a katana She didn't know that the Armageddon virus was unleashed by Savage, and that Savage created Per Degaton… and there came the inevitable reveal Joins the rebels at the end. The Atom - Ray Palmer “It worked, I'm not dead… yet” Giant Sized ATOM Looks crushed when Kendra says “we need to talk” White Canary - Sara Lance Aside from decent staff fighting, not a lot Kinda weird that she brought up the whole soulmate thing with Kendra, but she's her friend, so I guess it was in character Hawkgirl - Kendra Saunders Golden mace is pretty cannon - Nth metal Hawkman - Carter Hall Spike mace training scene, he wasn't actually a bit of a douche Captain Cold - Leonard Snart Solid throughout the episode, esp. In his interactions with Cassandra Backstory with his dad who was a monster is a lot of callback to the Flash Episode with Golden Glider as well. Heatwave - Mick Rory “It works with my outfit” It's great when Mic is actually into the role - his looks while interrogating the daughter was kinda awesome. Firestorm - Professor Martin Stein Cared about the refugees, but didn't have a lot to do - was injured for the climactic fight. Firestorm - Jefferson Jackson Ray's cheering section - not a lot of direct action since Stein was out of commission. Waverider/Gideon EPISODE DC EASTER EGGS: Season 1 Episode 13 “Leviathan” (Date: 29 Apr 2016) Article:http://comicbook.com/dc/2016/04/29/dcs-legends-of-tomorrow---x-things-you-might-have-missed-in-levi/ Leviathan: There have been two Leviathans in DC Comics. The first Leviathan was Gim Allor, a member of the Legion of Super-Heroes. The most recent Leviathan wasn't a person at all, but an offshoot of the League of Assassins. Talia al Ghul created Leviathan to oppose Batman Inc. Growing Atom: Savage's Leviathan is clearly a giant version of Ray's ATOM suit The Rebel Leader: Sharon Taylor, who played the unnamed Rebel Leader on tonight's episode, was in Smallville, she played Zod's lieutenant Faora Cassandra Savage: Cassandra Savage is actually based on a different DC character... Kassandra Sage is one of Vandal Savage's daughters in the New 52. After the police arrested Savage for a string of sacrificial murders, Kass grew up to become a profiler for the FBI, specializing in serial killers. After not speaking to Savage for years, Kass used her father to help solve a string of copycat murders committed by the son of the man who arrested Savage. Of course, most fans were hoping that Cassandra would wind up being Scandal Savage, a member of the Secret Six, a group of anti-hero mercenaries. Extra - thumping class of scotch looked like Jurassic Park. Extra - did anyone think of Capt. America Civil war when ATOM grew - like Ant-man growing into Giant-man ARROW NEWS: Wendy Mericle talks Prometheus, no magic, and Flashpoint (Date: 24 Aug 2016) * “for Season 5 … we did want to go back to our roots and figure out what is specific to this show. Trish Walker amazing, incredible shrinking woman and an absolute inspiration. Trish had spent her whole life battling with being very overweight. In fact, she gained and lost 50 kgs three times during her life until she found a solution that worked for her. Trish talks candidly about what that journey was like and how she found the key to remaining fit, healthy and well. Her conversation will inspire and delight you and I am positive there will be some things that you can relate to as well.

CRUSH SYNDROME [03:34] Coming back to the Jessica Jones series for the first time in over a month the Legends Of S.H.I.E.L.D. Agents are confronted once again by how horrible Killgrave is once again. After the end of the previous episode when Killgrave had Hope kill her parents, Killgave takes over a family’s home terrorizing all involved, Killgrave has ruined a skillful surgeon’s life, and effectively ended an EMS’ life and career. Killgrave is getting a rep for making the lives a billion times worse for people that are devoted to helping others. The Agents are treated to a complete non-trained drunken bar fight and divert into a side conversation of Rugby and Lacrosse including Archer’s past with Lacrosse camp. However, the Agents were treated to awesome all out superhero sex for the very first time! “Supervillain “Lab Rat” Lauren is particularly taken by the scene. Also the relationship between Trish Walker and Jessica Jones continues to unfold this episode including Trish’s training and Lauren give a very short background into why the two have their relationship in the series versus what happened to date in the comics. It turns out that the college class scene in this episode would have been one of the most exciting classes Lauren and Haley had in school. Lauren defines the term “#LannisterKink” in relation to Jessica Jones’ upstairs neighbors. Agent SP learns that The Star Wars Rebel character Kanan is voiced by Freddie Prinze Jr.. And all the Agents agree that Jeri Hogarth played by Carrie Ann Moss is NOT a good person. "A.K.A. Crush Syndrome” Directed By: S. J.
