“When I got my COVID vaccine, my reaction started within an hour, and it started with tingling down the same arm as my injection. It moved to my other arm, then it moved to my legs, and then it moved to my head, into my brain, and I had this horrific electrical, pulsating sensation through my body 24/7.”Brianne Dressen was left severely injured after participating in the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccine trials. She's the co-founder of the nonprofit React19, which helps people impacted by COVID-19 vaccine injuries. React19 now advocates on behalf of over 36,000 people.“We can't be found in any kind of database that the public or anyone beyond the government can access,” she says. “All of the programs that we've developed, they work together in concert to build an avenue for healing for the people that literally have no avenue.”She's the subject of the new book “Worth a Shot?: Secrets of the Clinical Trial Participant Who Inspired a Global Movement.”Views expressed in this video are opinions of the host and the guest, and do not necessarily reflect the views of The Epoch Times.
Buckle up—this episode is coming in hot! As Pfizer continues its slow release of Covid-19 mRNA vaccine study data, we dig into what's been uncovered so far.Today's guest, Sasha Latypova, a former pharmaceutical industry executive with over 20 years in clinical research and regulatory affairs, shares her findings from the first 400 pages released through a FOIA request. Her analysis raises serious concerns, including whether Pfizer ever conducted proper safety testing and the CDC/FDA's claims that the vaccine “stays in the injection site.” Spoiler: The data suggests otherwise. We're linking the full Pfizer documents on our website so you can see the data for yourself!
Episode #1163 Vaccine Trials & Betrayal: The Brianne Dressen Story When Utah mom and preschool teacher Brianne Dressen volunteered for AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine trial, she believed she was doing her part to help end the pandemic. Instead, her life was shattered by severe neurological injuries. But the real horror began when the medical establishment turned its back on her. Despite a diagnosis of “post-vaccine neuropathy” from the NIH, AstraZeneca offered her a mere $1,200 for a lifetime of suffering. Worse, she discovered a system designed to suppress stories like hers—where Big Pharma, government agencies, and mainstream media collude to silence the vaccine-injured. Now, Dressen is fighting back, exposing the web of deceit that controls public health. What does her story reveal about the dark side of medical trials, corporate corruption, and the silencing of dissent? GUEST: Brianne Dressen is a Utah mother, former preschool teacher, and AstraZeneca vaccine trial participant who developed severe neurological injuries. Now a leading advocate for vaccine injury awareness, she co-founded React19 to support those harmed by COVID-19 vaccines. From forcing the CDC to release hidden data to challenging mandates all the way to the Supreme Court, Aaron's work uncovers how profit-driven motives and regulatory conflicts of interest shape the public health narrative. We discuss the shocking lack of rigorous safety trials for vaccines, the immunity granted to pharmaceutical companies, and the contentious claims about vaccines and autism. Aaron pulls back the curtain on the systems that prioritize profits over transparency, raising urgent questions about science, power, and individual rights.

Trials of a cancer 'vaccine' have begun and presenter James meets Steve, one of the first patients to trial the new treatment, Steve remembers his shock at being diagnosed with colorectal cancer in his 40s and tells the story of how he became involved in this pioneering research into tackling cancer. The vaccine is based on the same mRNA technology as the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine and James heads to the University of Cambridge to find out how the early work into cancer vaccines became the foundation for the rapid rollout of the covid vaccine. In the lab, molecular biologist Dr Anne Willis and immunologist Dr James Thaventhiran explain how the vaccine is personalised to target the unique make-up of an individual patients' cancer cells, and how if the trials are successful they could open the door to mRNA treatments being used to treat a wide range of diseases. Also, Imperial College London cyber security researcher Dr Saira Ghafur joins James in the studio to explain why healthcare is a growing target for cyber attackers and how we can prepare for the next one because, as Saira says, it really is a case of "when" not "if".Presented by James Gallagher Produced by Tom Bonnett with Hannah Robins Assistant Producer: Katie Tomsett Editor: Holly Squire

From the long search for an HIV cure to the recent breakthroughs in COVID-19 vaccines, clinical trials have always been a critical part of the response to any public health crisis. People who volunteer for groundbreaking vaccine trials are helping make the future healthier for all of us. But what happens when the communities who need these vaccines the most are left out of their development? How we do address the racial and socioeconomic barriers that create inequities in medical research trials? Let's find out. Today's guest is Dr. Kathryn Stephenson, Director of the Clinical Trials Unit at Center for Virology and Vaccine Research at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center.
The DEFRA programme to pilot a vaccine for cattle against Bovine Tuberculosis is about the enter its second stage. This will involve five farms with 600 cattle. The trial combines the BCG vaccine and the DIVA test, which shows clearly which cattle have been vaccinated and which have been challenged by the disease, and it's hoped both together could work to identify where the disease is and also protect cattle at risk. There's been a re-organisation of government departments. Grant Shapps is the new Energy Security and Net Zero Secretary; Michelle Donelan becomes the Science, Innovation and Technology Secretary. Both of those roles will have to liaise closely with DEFRA - on the future of land use for energy, and innovations including gene editing. All week we're taking a look at the future of our peatlands. In many parts of the country lowland peat is drained and used to grow vegetables and other crops but this degrades the peat and emits carbon. Farmers in Germany are developing something called ‘paludiculture', using re-wetted peat lands to grow water tolerant vegetation, which also has a market. A company called Wetland Products is growing bulrushes in water-covered peat and turning it into housing insulation, takeaway food packaging, and compost for commercial growers. Bulrushes and reeds also clean up the excess nutrients in the water where they grow. Also in the Fens, a group of farmers and scientists are working together to see if they can change the way farming food is done on peatlands. A collaboration called Fenland Soil has been set to try out new wetter farming techniques. Presenter = Anna Hill Producer = Rebecca Rooney

Show Notes: First human patients receive transfusions of lab-grown blood cells | New Atlas (01:01) For the first time ever, human patients have received transfusions of blood cells that were grown from stem cells in a lab Revolutionize blood transfusions Blood donations are life saving, but the demand outweighs the supply But only 13.6 million units of whole blood and red blood cells are collected in the U.S. in a year. According to the Red Cross, only about 3% of age-eligible people donate blood yearly. Nearly 16 million blood components are transfused each year in the U.S. Approximately 29,000 units of red blood cells are needed every day in the U. S. An attractive alternative would be large-scale production of red blood cells in labs, which can be tuned to have whichever blood type is needed. The new clinical trial, named RESTORE, is designed to test the safety of transfusions of these manufactured blood cells, as well as how long they last in the body. Lab-grown blood is all made “fresh,” so it should all reliably last up to 120 days. For people with conditions that require regular blood transfusions, such as sickle cell, the longer lifespan of the cells should help give them longer gaps between transfusions. The RESTORE trial will involve at least 10 participants receiving “mini” transfusions of blood, containing just 5 to 10 ml (one to two teaspoons) of red blood cells. So far, two participants have received transfusions of lab-grown blood cells as part of the trial, with the scientists reporting that they have shown no untoward side effects. While this is a major milestone towards that goal, there's still much more work to do before blood transfusions are regularly lab-grown This clear window coating could cool buildings without using energy | Electrek (06:41) Scientists have used advanced computing tech and AI to design a clear window coating that could lower the temperature inside buildings. Saving a whole lot of cooling energy. Cooling accounts for about 15% of global energy consumption, and it's only going to get hotter, especially in more tropical climates. The sun's ultraviolet and near-infrared light are the parts of the solar spectrum that pass through window glass to heat an enclosed room. Why a car gets hot sitting in the sun. If you block that light energy the amount of cooling needed would be reduced According to their new paper, researchers from University of Notre Dame in Indiana and Kyung Hee University in Seoul, successfully designed a clear window coating, or “transparent radiative cooler” (TRC). According to the report, “[The team] optimized the type, order, and combination of layers using an iterative approach guided by machine learning and quantum computing, which stores data using subatomic particles” Using this quantum method allowed the team to carry out the optimization process faster. Which eventually, “produced a coating design that, when fabricated, beat the performance of conventionally designed TRCs in addition to one of the best commercial heat-reduction glasses on the market.” Through heat simulations of the TRC as a potential window material for a standard office with two windows they were able to figure out roughly the heat savings. 31.1% of the cooling energy consumption when conventional windows are used. The average annual energy saving over the surveyed U.S. cities is 50 MJ/m2 In cities with hot, dry weather the TRC can potentially save around 86.3 MJ/m2 per year. There's no indication of commercial scaling in the study, but the researchers write that the film “can be potentially scaled up for practical applications because their fabrication can be achieved using state-of-the-art deposition techniques.” Experimental breast cancer vaccine passes first human trials | New Atlas (12:19) I don't like using the term vaccine for these types of treatments. It is more of cell/protein therapy so I'll put that out there before I get into this. Up to 30% of breast cancers involve the overproduction of a protein called human epidermal growth factor receptor 2 (HER2). HER2-positive cancers are often more aggressive than other types of breast cancer These treatments deliver DNA blueprints for the production of certain proteins into the nucleus of a cell. The protein is then produced by the cell, triggering an immune response. This treatment in question prompts cells to produce a specific fragment of the HER2 protein. Note another reason I don't call it a vaccine: These are known as “therapeutic vaccines”, given to patients after they are diagnosed with a cancer in the hopes they help the immune system better seek and destroy certain tumors. The trial was not geared to evaluate how effective the experimental treatment is at treating breast cancer. But still in the trial there were promising signs of efficacy, with 80% of the treated trial participants surviving the full 10-year follow-up Only around 50% of patients with advanced HER2 breast cancer would generally be expected to survive more than five year Looking into the survival rate: 95.8% of females survive breast cancer for at least one year, this falls to 85.0% surviving for five years or more, and continues to fall to roughly 75% for 10 years, as shown by age-standardized net survival for patients diagnosed with breast cancer during 2013-2017 in England. A Phase 2 trial is currently underway, testing the treatment's efficacy in a larger cohort of HER2-positive patients. Scientists are working on an official 'alien contact protocol' for when ET phones Earth | Live Science (19:01) For the first time in 35 years, a team of policy experts and scientists have united to establish a set of alien-contact protocols for the entire world to follow in the event of a sudden encounter with E.T. What better use of “policy experts” … unless they know something Currently, the only alien contact protocol that humans have was established by the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligence Institute (SETI) community in 1989. vague when it comes to the international response to extraterrestrial communication mainly focuses on the importance of sharing discoveries with the public and broader scientific community. The new SETI Detection Hub will scan signals for potential messages sent from alien lifeforms and will develop a framework for attaching meaning to those signals. End it with John Elliot, a computer scientist at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland, and coordinator of the SETI Detection Hub, talking on the preparedness effort: “Will we ever get a message from E.T.? We don't know. We also don't know when this is going to happen … But we do know that we cannot afford to be ill-prepared — scientifically, socially, and politically rudderless — for an event that could turn into reality as early as tomorrow." Open-source fish robot starts collecting microplastics from UK lakes | The Next Web (24:20) Microplastics in the water is a problem: A new study from Stanford University found that blue whales, the biggest creatures on Earth, ingest about 10 million pieces of microplastics per day. What could be the solution? Maybe a plastic eating robot fish? A robot fish that collects microplastics from waterways has been turned from an idea into a working prototype. The design was brought to life after it won the University of Surrey's public competition, the Natural Robotics Contest. Competition was to submit an idea for a bio-inspired robot that could help the world. The robotics panelists and researchers, led by Dr. Robert Siddall, turned the design into a 3D-printed prototype about the size of a salmon. consists of a flooded head unit and a watertight tail unit. Set of gills on its sides and a fine mesh in between them that can sieve about two-millimeter particles Filters the water and keeps the microplastics inside its container as it swims. The robot fist has already been tested in the lab and local lakes Going Forward, according to Siddall, the team is envisioning a range of improvements for the robot: Making It faster and smarter Operate autonomously, rather than being remote controlled.
2249: Enrolling Minors in COVID-19 Vaccine Trials; The Democratic Party Are Crushing Your Prosperity
Brianne Dressen wanted to do the right thing when she signed up for AstraZeneca's COVID-19 vaccine trials. She had faith the government would get things right. Within 24 hours, her health deteriorated to the point that she could no longer work at her beloved pre-school. In the time since, she has racked up millions — yes millions — of healthcare bills. And where is AstraZeneca? Where is the FDA? Where is the NIH? Brianne answers all those questions with Michele.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
There are people who don't want you to hear Brook Jackson's story. Why? Because her allegations about COVID-19 vaccine trials are damning. Brook is a whistle-blower, and she joins Michele to talk about how Pfizer and the FDA ignored her alarm bells about the vaccine trials. This story isn't over.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

The Vaccination Against Canine Cancer Study (VACCS) is testing out a vaccine that will hopefully prevent dogs from getting eight of the most common cancers. As of June 1st the study finished enrolling 800 healthy dogs, each of whom will be followed for five years after getting the initial vaccination series. Listen in to hear Dr. Jenna Burton, one of the oncologists working on the study, explain how the vaccine was designed, which dogs can participate, and what they are hoping to see and learn. Even if the vaccine doesn't perform as well as hoped, this study will provide a huge amount of valuable information on cancer development in dogs that can help all of our future canine companions. Vaccines have been an important part of the world over the past two years. Today, we'll hear how many trials UVM runs, what medications and clinical approaches are being tested, who originates them and what benefit they are to the public. Then Elliott Greenblott of the AARP Fraud Network returns to warn us about the scams that are currently making the rounds. After that, we get ready for the opening of the Vermont Mountaineers' 19th season in Montpelier. And we finish the morning discussing the most-recent Legislative session with Governor Phil Scott.
This week we spotlight the Human Rights Council's special session on atrocities happening in Ukraine, post Russia's invasion. We'll also be heading to Afghanistan for the latest alarming UN assessments on food insecurity there, and to the Occupied West Bank - after the killing of Al Jazeera journalist Shireen Abu Akleh - and to DPR Korea, where health agency WHO, is committed to do help stop the spread of COVID-19. We also have some good news about successful malaria vaccine trials in Africa, which could save tens of thousands of children's lives.

Johnson & Johnson released the efficacy results of their one-shot Covid-19 vaccine candidate as coronavirus variants are increasingly being found in the U.S. The company announced their vaccine was shown to be 66% effective in preventing moderate and severe disease in a global Phase 3 trial and 85% effective against severe disease. It also was shown to be 72% effective against moderate and severe diseases in the U.S. While the trial apparently shows a lower efficacy rate than the other two vaccines on the market from Pfizer and Moderna, experts say the Johnson & Johnson vaccine would help fight the pandemic. Dr. Leana Wen is the former Baltimore Health Commissioner, an emergency room physician and a CNN Medical Analyst. She tells Anderson Cooper these results are promising. Plus, Pres. Joe Biden plans to intensify public lobbying for his Covid-19 relief bill and says it “has to pass.” Independent Senator Bernie Sanders has said the timeline for this bill to pass is “as soon as we possibly can.” He joins AC360 to give an update on where the $1.9 trillion bill stands on Capitol Hill and whether or not the Democrats have the votes to pass without any Republican support.
