Today we are talking about a mystery that has confounded historians for centuries. Two little princes locked away in a tower after their uncle snatched the throne away. Last seen playing in the courtyard of the tower, the two young boys were never heard from again. Speculation as to what happened to them has surrounded the reign of the monarchs ever since. Was it murder? Did they escape? And what about all the bodies that have been found since then? Today on The Odder, we are talking about Edward the 5th and Richard of Shrewsbury, what happened to them and if it was murder, who did it? I hope you paid attention during history class cause we are going to be doing some grave digging today, grab your lockpick and your shovel and let's go!Want to request your own personalized episode? Have you felt it? That subtle shift in the air hinting at the first taste of fall? We have, and this week we are incredibly excited to embrace it by welcoming Katie Jo Glesing to the show. Katie is the Founder (and possible Physic Vampire) of Boo812: Paranormal Research and Edutainment. Katie embraces her affinity for all things Woo to explore beyond the veil with fellow researchers and individuals all across Kentucky and Indiana. It was absolutely fascinating to hear her story, learn more about local lore, and the current state of paranormal research as it receives increasingly more mainstream acceptance. We also hook each other up to Katie's spirit box and try some channeling of the spirits in the shop, as well as “Choose our own Adventure” with the help of a ghost in the machine. Welcome to the fall, y'all.

A przynajmniej takie legendy można o nim usłyszeć. Dziś zastanowimy się więc, jak wygląda to w rzeczywistości. ------------------------------------------------------------

Thank you for listening to this completely re recorded and re mastered reading of George Washington’s Visions for America. Analysis of this document will be performed in an upcoming show. Source: Originally shared to me by Rik E Shay of the Xirtus Tartary and The Watchmen Discord Servers. Sharing now with my gratitude. I guess we can call it a Prophecy- attributed to none other than the Foundingest of Fathers, known by everyone starting just now as The Neverliar, The Spirit of Virginia, the Mahogany Masticator, and The Delaware River Decamper! Indeed, our subject today is none other than the heavyweight champion of US Presidents, Mister George-No-Middle-Name-Washington himself. The vision that I am speaking of is one that came to Washington during the historic winter of 1777 while in “Winter Quarters” at Valley Forge with his army of Revolutionary soldiers. This was the same winter in which thousands of American volunteers, underpaid and underfed even at that early stage of the conflict- perished of cold and disease while trying to endure one of the worst winters on record since the peak of the Little Ice Age of the 16th and 17th Centuries. Now, I must hasten to qualify the assertion that the visions were one hundred percent for sure that of the then General of the Continental Army.- this vision is attributed to George Washington, but was not heard of before the time of it’s disclosure in 1859 by a then 99 year old Random Old Soldier named Anthony Sherman. Sherman was supposedly there in ‘77 for that bitter winter, one in which it was recounted many times that Washington would “Go to the thicket to pray”. The Old Soldier would recount his story before he perished, that the listener may record Washington’s Vision, which included a sweeping picture of the young nation’s future, marked by three terrible perils. Let’s turn to the story, first widely published in 1880, 29 years after that fateful encounter with the Old Soldier by William Bradshaw, in The National Tribune.. Recorded January 3rd 2020 Baked and Awake Episode 094 Intro by: ROYCE George Washington’s Visions for America My source: This story was originally shared to me by Rik E Shay of the Xirtus Tartary and The Watchmen Discord Servers. I could record an entire podcast soapboxing about my opinions on perpetual war and what it’s doing to not only the world but to America’s soul, but I don’t think anyone would listen to it, including yours truly, once I hit publish on such pointless mental [redacted], so I will spare us all. Nonetheless, the current headlines and the ill portent of the subsequent onslaught of WWIII memes on instagram today together struck a chord in my mind as I prepared to share a, I guess we can call it a Prophecy- attributed to none other than the Foundingest of Fathers, known by everyone starting just now as The Neverliar, The Spirit of Virginia, the Mahogany Masticator, and The Delaware River Decamper! “They’re living too fast.” —Wes ‘Deacon’ Smoot About: It used to be that you could grow apples, herd sheep, or fell timber and make a decent living in the Anderson Valley. But not even the few stop signs in this remote valley could slow down the incoming cash crop of grapes. The area’s long legacy of logging now takes a backseat to its newer reputation of producing some of the world’s best pinot noir. But how did a tucked-away valley 40 minutes from the Pacific Coast and the main highway all of a sudden become a major wine destination? And what toll did this have on a fractured community just reeling from the Redwood Summer days? And what does it mean for the future of the town's famous frontier language called Boontling?
