Unleashed: The Political News Hour with Chris Cordani – Look at budgets printed to please donors while basic services wobble. Look at sanctuary policies that shift costs to hardworking taxpayers and force cities to house people without adequate screening or planning. That is not incompetence alone. It is a choice. It is performance dressed up as governance. The result is predictable...
The man who built Starbucks into a global brand is sounding the alarm about Seattle — and Mayor Bruce Wilson's far-left policies are front and center. Howard Schultz's public warning isn't just symbolic: it signals that even the most Seattle-loyal institutions have hit their breaking point with a city government that treats businesses as adversaries rather than assets.Wilson's administration has piled on regulations, hostile permitting, and a tax-and-spend posture that's made Seattle one of the most difficult operating environments in the country. When the founder of your flagship corporate citizen goes on record warning of a mass exodus, that's not a PR problem — that's a governance failure playing out in real time. The Starbucks warning joins a long line of business departures, office vacancies, and quiet relocations that the mayor's office continues to dismiss. Pacific Northwest residents are watching their city hollow out while city hall doubles down on the same ideology that drove the problems in the first place.CHAPTERS0:00 Starbucks Founder WARNS - Socialist…1:48 Howard Schultz Skewers Seattle3:03 Starbucks Moves 2,000 Jobs to Nashville3:34 Schultz Built Starbucks Then Left…4:09 Schultz Buys $44 Million Florida…4:53 Seattle Mayor Katie Wilson Claims…5:35 Blue Cities in Red States Still Fail6:09 Microsoft Amazon Costco Built…6:51 Seattle's Tax Stack Chokes Business…7:42 Wilson's Starbucks Boycott Backfires…8:13 Poll: 91% of Washington Businesses Not…9:00 Violent Crime Surges Across Seattle10:50 High Taxes Drive Seattle Families Away11:54 Katie Wilson Tells Millionaires Goodbye13:01 Washington's Regressive Tax Hurts…14:19 Amazon and Microsoft Slash Seattle…16:02 Washington Drifts Toward Detroit's…17:00 Howard Schultz Has Left the Building17:59 Liberal Politics Are Destroying Seattle18:47 2030 Census to Reveal Blue State Exodus19:34 California Replaced Outmigration With…20:13 Leaked Emails Expose Seattle's…21:14 Democrats Face Fallout Across Blue…21:47 AOC's Tax-the-Rich Gown at $35K Gala22:20 Don't Miss the Next EpisodeSubscribe to @reasonablenews for daily coverage of Pacific Northwest politics, urban policy failures, and the stories the mainstream press won't touch.#Portland #RealEstate #EconomicCollapse

In today's episode of The Alan Sanders Show, Alan dives into the "soft bigotry of low expectations", from Gavin Newsom's pandering in Georgia to white liberals dumping down speech and code-switching for minority audiences, backed by a 2018 Yale study. He contrasts this patronizing mindset with Trump's consistent, high-expectation approach. Plus, explosive hypocrisy in blue cities: NYC's Zohran Mamdani demands multiple forms of ID (including photos and Social Security card) to shovel snow during a blizzard, yet Democrats fiercely oppose voter ID laws. We also unpack ongoing tariff policies and their impact on America First economics. Plus, a gold medal win for USA Men's Hockey and the Left hates, once again, their display of patriotism and love of our country. Join the Conversation at 303-477-5600 or text to 307-200-8222 Monday - Friday from 3 pm - 6 pm MT. HOUR 1 Hour 1 of https://RushToReason.com opens with a bold challenge: are we being told the full truth about our health—or just the convenient version? John Rush is joined by Dr. Kelly Victory, an independent physician and nationally recognized public health expert, for a wide-ranging and provocative conversation. Should some prescription drugs—like antibiotics—be available over the counter? Would it lower costs and restore patient freedom, or create new risks? Then the discussion pivots to hormone replacement therapy. Is declining testosterone or estrogen just “normal aging,” or are people suffering unnecessarily? And how do you pursue hormone therapy safely—without falling for clinic hype? The hour turns more intense as they examine rising cancer rates, particularly in younger adults. Is it a coincidence, lifestyle, COVID itself, or the mRNA shots? Dr. Kelly outlines concerns about immune disruption, lipid nanoparticles, and batch inconsistencies. What can people do now? Are antibody tests and certain supplements worth considering? If you've ever felt like key details are missing from the mainstream narrative, this episode asks the hard questions—without apology. Websites Mentioned * https://LabCorp.com * https://howbadismybatch.com HOUR 2 Hour 2 turns up the heat. John Rush welcomes Alvin Louie, President of Courage Is a Habit, for a tactical breakdown of what he calls “language deconstruction.” Are cultural debates—especially around transgender ideology—being won not by facts, but by redefining words? Alvin shares a provocative role-play and a six-month social experiment designed to expose what he believes are manipulative debate tactics. How do you avoid getting dragged into the “swamp” and losing moral clarity? Then John pivots to media accountability. With the FCC reportedly scrutinizing The View over equal-time rules, what exactly is the Fairness Doctrine—and could it apply to late-night hosts, too? If one political candidate gets airtime, should the opponent automatically get the same? The hour closes with strong commentary on circumcision, religious doctrine, and a viral controversy involving an Islamic scholar condemning dog ownership. Are we witnessing cultural confusion—or a deeper ideological shift? If you care about free speech, faith, media bias, and parental authority, this hour demands your attention. Guest Timestamps * 1:17 – Alvin Louie - https://courageisahabit.org HOUR 3 Hour 3 opens with Jerzee Joe delivering a sharp economic perspective: Why do nations with the same geography end up worlds apart economically? From Haiti vs. the Dominican Republic to East vs. West Berlin, is government the defining factor between prosperity and collapse? The conversation intensifies with analysis of media silence surrounding controversial political rhetoric, questions about crime trends, and ongoing investigations tied to Black Lives Matter leadership. Are Americans getting the full story—or just curated headlines? Then, energy policy takes center stage as Kenny Stein, Vice President of Policy at the American Energy Alliance and the Institute for Energy Research, joins the program. What did the Trump administration actually roll back in EPA regulations? Were EV mandates quietly being imposed through regulatory backdoors? Why are hybrid vehicles outperforming fully electric models in a true free-market environment? And did Toyota outsmart Detroit by refusing to chase political trends? From governance and urban decline to energy freedom and the realities of the auto industry, this hour challenges narratives and asks: What happens when policy overrides the marketplace? You're listening to American Ground Radio with Stephen Parr and Louis R. Avallone. This is the full show for February 5, 2026. 0:30 We dig into Trump’s underappreciated strategy of political misdirection, starting with the infamous Greenland proposal and pivoting to a far more serious — and far less mocked — possibility: Alberta. As media elites rolled their eyes, were quiet conversations happening behind the scenes with Canadian separatists from the energy-rich province of Alberta? With U.S.–Canada relations already strained by tariffs, trade wars, and Trump’s “51st state” trolling, the discussion explores Alberta’s growing independence movement, its economic dominance within Canada, and whether sovereignty — or even alignment with the United States — is legally and politically plausible. Is this about energy, geography, national defense, or leverage on the global stage? And was Greenland ever the real story at all? 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. President Trump is announcing the launch of a new website tonight designed to help people get prescription drugs at a lower cost. A self described ANTIFA leader was arrested this week for threatening to kill ICE Agents. The State of Missouri is suing the Federal Government over how it counts people in the Census. 12:30 Get TrimROX from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:00 An anti-ICE protest in Minneapolis crossed a dangerous line, and now there are serious consequences. We break down the arrest of Elizabeth Rose, a 42-year-old activist charged with assaulting federal agents after allegedly ramming an ICE vehicle. As vehicle attacks against ICE officers surge nationwide — with DHS data showing hundreds of incidents across the country — the conversation shifts from protest and free speech to violence, enforcement, and the rule of law. When does activism stop being protected speech and become a felony? Using a car as a weapon against federal law enforcement isn’t civil disobedience — it’s assault, and it can be deadly. 16:00 Is it sexist to think of Michelle Obama as Barack Obama’s wife — or is that just reality?American Mamas Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson weigh in on Michelle Obama’s recent comments claiming she was reduced to “just the president’s wife,” despite her elite education and career. Drawing on their own experiences being proudly known by family ties, the conversation challenges the modern idea that being identified through a spouse is somehow degrading. From Harvard Law and bestseller book deals to White House privilege, therapy disclosures, and public criticism of Barack Obama, we contrast Michelle Obama with past First Ladies like Nancy Reagan and asks a blunt question: when does empowerment turn into entitlement? If you'd like to ask our American Mamas a question, go to our website, AmericanGroundRadio.com/mamas and click on the Ask the Mamas button. 23:00 A devastating crash in Indiana reignites a furious national debate over illegal immigration, public safety, and who is being put at risk on America’s highways. We react to reports that an illegal over-the-road truck driver was involved in a crash that killed a father and his three sons — yet another tragedy that could have been prevented. The discussion zeroes in on states accused of looking the other way by issuing commercial licenses to illegal immigrants, the role of lax enforcement and open-border policies, and why 40-ton 18-wheelers become deadly weapons in the wrong hands. With pointed criticism of the Biden administration and state leaders, we ask a blunt question: if someone isn’t legally allowed to be in the country, why are they allowed to drive across it? 25:30 America’s biggest cities are sitting on a financial time bomb, and the numbers are staggering. We Dig Deep into a new Truth in Accounting report that examines the true fiscal health of New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston, and Philadelphia — factoring in debts, assets, and massive unfunded pension liabilities. The result: every one of these Democrat-run cities carries a crushing taxpayer burden, with residents on the hook for anywhere from $1,300 in Los Angeles to a jaw-dropping $61,700 per person in New York City. The conversation zeroes in on runaway spending, backroom union deals, unfunded pensions, and the assumption that federal bailouts will always save the day. With strong-mayor systems, one-party rule, and governing by ideology instead of math, fiscal reality always wins. From Chicago’s $42,600 per-person debt to warnings that New Orleans may be next, how long can America’s largest cities ignore the numbers before bankruptcy becomes unavoidable? 32:30 As the search continues for Savannah Guthrie’s missing mother, new and troubling details emerge. We discuss reports that law enforcement has arrested an individual for allegedly creating a fake ransom notice, even as authorities say they still have no identified suspect in the disappearance of the 84-year-old woman. The conversation turns to an unexpected development: President Donald Trump directing federal law enforcement to assist Guthrie’s family, setting politics aside during a deeply human crisis. Despite years of tension between Trump and NBC News, this moment complicates the media’s usual narrative — and underscores the seriousness with which the federal government is treating the case. 35:30 President Donald Trump used the National Prayer Breakfast in Washington, D.C. to deliver a message rarely heard from modern presidents — and to announce a major faith-centered event on the National Mall this May. We highlight Trump’s call to rededicate America as “one nation under God." Drawing from the Declaration of Independence, George Washington’s warnings, and the idea that rights come from God — not government — the discussion explores faith, gratitude, and moral accountability in leadership. While Trump veered off script to criticize Democrats, the bigger story is a president openly invoking God, religion, and America’s founding principles in the public square. 39:30 New York City’s new mayor is already under fire — and now Washington is stepping in. We break down how Mayor Zohran Mamdani moved quickly after taking office to nullify multiple pro-Israel executive orders signed by former Mayor Eric Adams, quietly reshaping how the city defines antisemitism and positions itself toward Israel. That decision has triggered a U.S. Senate committee investigation, led in part by Senator Bill Cassidy, who warns that antisemitism in New York is not theoretical but a daily reality for millions of Jewish residents. With billions in federal funding potentially on the line, the discussion zeroes in on whether New York City will tolerate antisemitism — and what it means for the city with the largest Jewish population outside of Israel. Articles Trump launches discount drug platform: What to know Missouri AG sues over counting of illegal aliens in census A new measure of issue polarization using k-means clustering: US trends 1988–2024 and predictors of polarization across the world "Since 1988, polarization in the US has been overwhelmingly due to the Left moving leftward, while the Right has basically stayed the same. You're listening to American Ground Radio with Louis R. Avallone and Stephen Parr. This is the full show for November 12, 2025. 0:30 How can one city take nearly half a month to count votes? Seattle’s still counting ballots two weeks after Election Day — and somehow, the far-left candidate keeps gaining ground. From New York’s new socialist mayor to Seattle’s projected “democratic socialist” winner, delayed counts and mail-in ballots seem to benefit the far-left. But it’s about more than elections. We dig into why progressive cities like Seattle, already struggling with crime, homelessness, and failing businesses, keep doubling down on policies that made those problems worse. 9:30 Plus, we cover the Top 3 Things You Need to Know. Texas Governor Greg Abbott announced this week he is running for a fourth term as Governor of the Lone Star State. Sean Duffy, the Secretary of Transportation says California has issued 17,000 commercial drivers licenses to illegal aliens in violation of federal law. Police in New York city are searching for a gay pride flag waving vandal who defaced three churches. 12:30 Get Prodovite Plus from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 13:30 Crime is down in Chicago — shootings, carjackings, and violent crime have all dropped under President Trump’s Operation Midway. You’d think everyone would be celebrating, but the left isn’t cheering — they’re furious. We unpack why a safer city has made progressives so angry and what that reveals about their real priorities. 16:00 If Donald Trump cured cancer, would Democrats even take the cure? That’s the question our American Mamas — Teri Netterville and Kimberly Burleson — tackle this week. From a mother’s fight to save her daughter from a rare autoimmune disease to the political outrage that erupts any time a Trump-era name is mentioned, the Mamas dig into what’s behind the left’s reflexive hostility. Why has disagreement turned into derangement? Why does everything connected to Trump — even something meant to help people — become a trigger? 23:00 We reflect on the fading penny — not just as currency, but as a piece of American culture. From “a penny for your thoughts” to “penny wise and pound foolish,” they explore what happens when familiar sayings — and the values behind them — lose their meaning to a new generation. 25:30 Follow the money — and the movers. We're Digging Deep into a new report from Unleash Prosperity, led by economist Stephen Moore, that shows just how much wealth is fleeing blue states — and where it’s landing. We break down the staggering numbers: New York, California, Illinois, and New Jersey have lost over $1.3 trillion in income as residents pack up for freer, lower-tax states like Florida and Texas. 32:00 Get TrimROX from Victory Nutrition International for 20% off. Go to vni.life/agr and use the promo code AGR20. 32:30 Can affordable healthcare actually exist in America? We dig into the failures of Obamacare — the so-called “Affordable Care Act” that doubled costs for families and made seeing a doctor harder than ever. But there may be a better way. We're joined by Francis Curry, CFO of Altrua HealthShare, to discuss how a shared-values approach to healthcare is helping families across the country find coverage at a fraction of the cost — without government subsidies or bureaucratic red tape. 40:00 We react to Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s latest non-answer — when asked if Chuck Schumer should step down, she replied that “a leader is a reflection of the party.” But is that really true? Or is it the other way around? The hosts break down how politicians spin, stall, and sidestep accountability — and why voters deserve straight answers instead of scripted talking points. Sometimes, all you can say is… whoa.See omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.

Meantime, 8 people were murdered and 51 shot last weekend in Chicago, run by a bumbling Brandon Johnson who makes a plea to the UN (of all places) for help to remove ICE agents. Nancy Pelosi dreams of keeping the family grift alive and James Carville admits the democrats' plan when they regain power is to nuke the filibuster and pack the courts.

Michael Popok explains why a 1 paragraph order in the last few hours from the Supreme Court may spell disaster for Trump's plan to continue to attack Blue States and Blue Cities with federalized National Guard. That one question could signal that there is at least 1 MAGA Supreme Court justice who may be willing to rein in Trump and his abuse of the National Guard. Dave Rubin of “The Rubin Report” talks to Miami Mayor Francis Suarez about his final days in office; the success of Miami as a model of economic growth, safety, and resilience; why Miami could potentially vote in a democrat mayor; the upcoming mayoral election and the city's political future; his father Xavier Suarez's campaign and the challenges of modern politics; how media attacks discourage good leadership; Donald Trump's redefinition of what it means to be “presidential” through resilience and strength; and why Suarez believes Miami is “politician-proof” thanks to its strong private sector and community spirit; the truth behind misleading gun statistics; why Democrat-run cities are choosing decline; Miami's incredible success story; how low taxes, public safety, and innovation fueled the city's growth; record population and economic expansion with 150% growth in a decade; achieving one of the lowest homelessness and homicide rates in U.S. history; rejecting “defund the police” and “no cash bail” policies; how strong leadership and law enforcement cooperation kept order during protests; concerns about proposed property tax changes in Florida; and Miami's continued appeal to businesses, residents, and police fleeing blue cities; why a whole new generation of voters are being tricked into supporting failed socialist schemes by democrats like Zohran Mamdani; the influx of residents fleeing blue states like New York; how Miami's pro-business, low-tax, and law-and-order policies turned the city red; the impact of Governor Ron DeSantis's voter registration push; why high taxes and socialist policies in places like New York create economic “death spirals”; the Cuban-American community's resistance to communism; challenges like housing affordability and traffic; and innovative solutions such as public-private housing, education reform, and tech-driven urban development; and much more.
President Trump's deployment of the National Guard from red states into blue cities isn't just a partisan attack; it's also a geographic one. In the 2024 election, Donald Trump won rural areas by 40 percentage points. And you could see what's been happening in Washington, D.C., and Chicago as a rural political coalition militarily occupying urban centers. The rural-urban divide in America has become so big it's dangerous — for our politics, and for democracy. And yet, just a few decades ago, this divide didn't exist. Urban and rural areas voted pretty much in lockstep. And for Democrats to gain power again, they'll need to figure out how to win some of those voters back.So how did the Democratic Party lose rural voters? And what could they do to win their votes back?Suzanne Mettler is a political scientist at Cornell University and the co-author with Trevor E. Across the country, a new confederacy is rising—built not on states' rights, but on resistance to federal immigration law. As cities like Portland, Los Angeles, and Chicago openly defy federal immigration laws, Victor Davis Hanson argues we're seeing the rise of a “neo-Confederate secessionist ideology” where local officials act as if they're above the law on today's episode of “Victor Davis Hanson: In His Own Words.” “Sometimes it's sponsored or encouraged by the Democratic Party: Gavin Newsom in California, our governor, or Karen Bass, the mayor of Los Angeles, openly calling for resistance, or Gov. Pritzker of Chicago. “What's really disturbing is we're starting to see a new—I would call it—a neo-Confederate successionist ideology in these cities. In these blue cities, the officials who run them, the mayors or the police chiefs, believe they are a law unto themselves. In other words, within the confines of Chicago or within the confines of Portland, they can nullify all federal laws, just in the way that South Carolina said it could on the eve of the Civil War: The Union does not apply to us. We are morally superior.”

The Second Amendment is crucial for personal safety and freedom. The Democrat Party is struggling with internal conflicts and TDS. A healthy opposition is necessary for a functioning democracy. Keywords Armed American Radio, crime in Chicago, political leadership, anarchy, funding violence, Second Amendment, Democrat Party, political rhetoric, healthy opposition
Government Shutdown Narrative Democrats blamed for deliberately causing the shutdown for political reasons. Framed as Chuck Schumer’s attempt to appeal to progressive factions like AOC. House Republicans passed a “clean CR” (continuing resolution) to keep government funding stable, but Democrats rejected it. Healthcare for Illegal Immigrants Democrats WANT taxpayer-funded healthcare for undocumented immigrants. Cited past Democratic presidential debate where all candidates raised hands in support of coverage for undocumented immigrants. References to California and New York already providing state-level healthcare to undocumented immigrants. Argument that Democrats are gaslighting the public by denying this stance. Crime in “Blue Cities” Senate Judiciary Committee hearing highlighted as focusing on rising crime rates in Democrat-led cities. Claims that progressive DAs, often linked to George Soros funding, refuse to prosecute violent criminals. Examples cited: New York, Georgia, Wisconsin, and Milwaukee DA cases. Pattern described of criminals repeatedly being released and reoffending. Defund the Police & Bail Reform Criticism of Democratic-led efforts to defund or reduce police funding (examples: Minneapolis, New York, Austin). Soros-backed DAs accused of eliminating cash bail, downgrading felonies, and prioritizing criminals over victims. Proposed Solutions Sen. Cruz mentions his “Clean DC Act,” aimed at reversing soft-on-crime laws in Washington, D.C. Advocates stronger penalties and more police support. Credits Trump with using the National Guard to reduce crime in DC. Left-Wing Violence Democratic rhetoric is causing violent outcomes (e.g., BLM riots, anti-Semitic incidents, ICE facility attacks). Claims left-wing activists celebrate violence while conservatives condemn it. Mentions assassination attempts (Trump, Justice Kavanaugh) and murder of Charlie Kirk as examples of left-inspired violence. Please Hit Subscribe to this podcast Right Now. California is collapsing—but is it by design? Jillian Michaels and Chris Moritz dive deep into how Governor Gavin Newsom's policies, DA George Gascón's soft-on-crime approach, cartel-driven fentanyl pipelines, and exploding homelessness are accelerating the fall of America's biggest blue cities. We explore the shocking theories behind land grabs, constant wildfires, rolling blackouts, and whether foreign influence—including Newsom's alleged CCP ties—is driving a quiet takeover of California real estate and infrastructure. From cartels to corruption, climate cash to chaos, this episode exposes the possibility that California's downfall isn't an accident—it's a blueprint for urban collapse nationwide.
