In this episode, Mike and Ben break down May as the first full month after the latest Amazon changes and are joined by guest Mike Dancy to talk through what the shift is looking like in real time.Ben shares how May ended up being a volatile month, falling from an early projection of around $12K to closer to $10K, while Mike talks through how he still expects to land around $11K for the month despite dealing with two hospitalizations and serious health issues. A big part of the conversation centers around why higher-quality, more intentional videos are becoming even more important as the program continues to shift.Guest Mike Dancy shares how his Amazon earnings dropped significantly despite having hundreds of videos live, while his UK, Canada, and Australia storefronts improved and his off-site efforts continued to create opportunities. He explains how he is using YouTube and other social platforms to drive traffic, build UGC income, and create new brand relationships outside of relying only on Amazon. The episode also covers UGC pricing, finding clients, niche advantages, tools like Wovo, comparison videos, search-based content, Creator Connections, and why creators need to diversify income beyond Amazon if they want more stability going forward. If you are an Amazon Influencer, content creator, or product reviewer trying to understand the latest changes, grow off-site, and build a more durable creator business, this episode is packed with real-world strategy and perspective.____________________JOIN THE COMMUNITYIf you are looking for deeper strategy, accountability, & honest conversations with other serious content creators, the Creator's Leverage Guild was built for exactly thatLearn more and join here:Creator's Leverage Guild_____________________CHECK OUT OUR 2 NEW EBOOKS THAT JUST LAUNCHED!The AIP Master Guide - Stop guessing your way through AIP. Welcome to the second Off the Record of 2026! This time, Stewart, Rastislav and Ken have an assortment of films and shows with timely topics.Stewart brings us his feature review of 2025's Oscar nominee Bugonia, directed by Yorgos Lanthimos. He was pleasantly surprised by this film's conspiracy angle, involving aliens and the mass death of bees. Emma Stone as a “suit” is victimized by Jesse Plemons and Aiden Delbis, playing brothers who raise bees off the grid and believe that Stone's company is bringing aliens to earth and consequently poisoning their bees.Ken follows with a look at 2009's US immigration drama Crossing Over, directed by Wayne Kramer. Harrison Ford, Cliff Curtis, Ashley Judd and Ray Liotta are some of the actors. Ken felt there were some story problems, but one sequence in a convenience store and a thoughtful examination of the immigration process help counter this.Rasto then leads us to The Path, a 2016 Hulu series created by Jessica Goldberg. Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan and Hugh Dancy are the leads in this cult-themed drama; Rasto found Dancy's performance worthy of particular praise. He enjoyed the examination of how different cults or sects operate and attract followers.Starting into the lesser picks, Stewart shines (moon)light on 2020's The Wolf of Snow Hollow, written and directed by its star Jim Cummings. Robert Forster, Riki Lindhome and Chloe East also star. Stewart doesn't think this werewolf-themed comedy/drama is worth howling over, but appreciated the practical effects and unexpected creation of suspense during the daytime.Ken's lesser pick is another Oscar nominee and also immigration-themed, 2025's One Battle After Another directed by Paul Thomas Anderson. Leonardo DiCaprio, Teyana Taylor, Benicio del Toro, Chase Infiniti and Sean Penn. Ken felt that Anderson's quirky style didn't mesh well with the examination of immigration and white supremacists; however he did enjoy the action and some of the performances.Rastislav second cult-themed entry is unfortunately disappointing; the 2025 Netflix miniseries Wayward, created by Mae Martin and starring Martin alongside Toni Collette. Rastislav didn't feel this Toronto-area set drama was as substantive in its examination of cult activity as The Path was, choosing instead to focus on topics that have already been looked at in better films. Pop's Italian Beef & Sausage (“Pop's Beef”) has been a Chicagoland favorite for more than 45 years. The original Pop's Beef store, located at 7153 W 127th Street in Palos Heights, IL, was opened March 24th, 1980, as a small family-run sandwich concept operation. Today, it is a successful franchisor with 17 locations.  “I was born in the business,” says Kacie Dancey, the eldest of founder Frank Radochonski's four children. A University of Illinois graduate with a degree in finance, she worked in wine sales after college for two years before returning to her family's restaurant as a manager. Kacie is now the concept's vice president of operations. Pop's Beef menu offering includes freshly made sandwiches, sausage, burgers, salads, and hot dogs. Its house special, a marinated, warmed, and thinly sliced beef sandwich, is available in a variety of sizes. “We are successful because of our commitment to consistent high quality and reasonable pricing,” says Kacie. Kacie explains how she and her team overcame poorly structured early growth to create an expansion program that is flexible and successful. "We have learned from the loosely organized licensed units we had at first,” she says, adding that the business now oversees franchisees with freestanding locations, shopping center units, and convenience store kiosks. "I live by our marketing slogan, ‘Don't Worry, Beef Happy,' and spend my time between the company-owned training unit and visiting the many franchised locations,” says Kacie. Pop's Beef's short-term plan includes their continued commitment to improve operations while integrating technology into product management and marketing.

In 2021, Albertina Dancy began to experience abdominal pain, but that wasn't all.  She also had gastrointestinal issues, jaundice and other problems.  However, she didn't take them seriously and thought they could be successfully addressed with over-the-counter remedies.  When that didn't happen, she sought medical attention.   Albertina's doctor said the symptoms, combined with her existing fatty liver disease, merited a trip to an oncologist.  A series of scans and tests, plus the stiffness of her liver, led to a diagnosis of liver cancer.   The diagnosis left Albertina depressed, wondering if she would get well again.  She regrets not seeking medical attention at an earlier time because doctors said her only treatment option with a regimen of radiation treatment and chemotherapy.   The chemo was extremely tough on Albertina.  She was in constant pain, felt extreme fatigue and was demoralized about losing all her hair.   However, she achieved survivorship and says because she pays close attention to diet and exercise, her health is better than it was prior to her diagnosis.   By way of advice, Albertina Dancy strongly advises anyone suffering unusual health issues to immediately seek medical attention.   Additional Resources:   American Liver Foundation: https://www.liverfoundation,org

It's citrus season in the northern hemisphere, and fruit trees are bursting with oranges and lemons. But CrowdScience listener Jonathan wants to know what happened to the tangerines he ate as a child in the 1960s? He remembers a fruit that was juicy, sweet and full of pips, found each Christmas at the bottom of his stocking. Tangerines today, he thinks, just don't compare. Crowdscience tries to track down this elusive fruit. Presenter Anand Jagatia traces the tangerine's origins back to Ancient China, as botanist David Mabberley explains that the name ‘tangerine' comes from a fruit that made its way from Asia, to Africa and the Moroccan port of Tangier, before arriving in the US in the early 1800s. Professor Tracy Kahn from UC Riverside tells us about the hybridisation process that goes into breeding modern tangerines, but says that while the season for these fruits has been dramatically extended, there's a cost in terms of diversity and flavour. Who better to help us track down this missing mandarin than a fruit detective? Well, that's one of pomologist David Karp's other job titles, and he reveals exactly which cultivar we might be looking for: the Dancy. So where can we find one? Over on Friend's Ranches in Ojai, California, Emily Ayala shows us two trees planted by her late grandfather, and explains that nothing grown since really matches its unique flavour. So what will listener Jonathan think when we send him a box? Laura interviews Tristan Redman from Ghost Story podcast and former Metropolitan Police DCI Jackie Malton regarding Dr Naomi Dancy's murder, and Maurice Tribe and pregnant second wife Mary Garstin's untimely and unexpected deaths. When we know that homicide is the leading cause of death in pregnant women and more specifically the husband/ex - we must ask more questions. Join Laura as she asks the critical questions about the case and the podcast including why the séance as the ending? Why hand the case over to a ghost to decide what happened? Why weren't the eight experienced investigative experts used more? Was John Dancy a police surgeon? Who benefited from the deaths? Has Tristan been invited to the Dancy family Christmas? Emmy-nominated composer Chanda Dancy joins us for an inspiring conversation about her remarkable journey in music and film scoring. Known for her work on the acclaimed miniseries "Lawmen: Bass Reeves," Dancy's impressive portfolio includes "Whitney Houston: I Wanna Dance with Somebody," "Devotion," and the documentary "Aftershock." In this captivating interview, Dancy delves into her creative process, discussing the meticulous research and preparation behind crafting the perfect orchestral language for "Lawmen: Bass Reeves." She also shares her profound sense of responsibility when composing for the Whitney Houston biopic. From her early days in Houston, where her classical musician mother introduced her to violin at preschool age, to her pivotal moment at Houston Baptist University where her passion for film scoring ignited, Dancy's story is one of perseverance and "divine timing." We explore how a short film she wrote, directed, and scored became her ticket to USC's prestigious film scoring program. The conversation is peppered with fascinating anecdotes, including a pivotal encounter with legendary composer Mike Post (known for "Law & Order" and "NYPD Blue") during her internship days. Dancy's journey wasn't without challenges - after USC, she found herself serving coffee and working at an internet company. But for this determined dreamer, these humble beginnings were just the prelude to an extraordinary career. Join us as we uncover the story of a talented artist who refused to give up, leading to a snowball of opportunities that shaped her into the acclaimed composer she is today. This episode is a must-listen for aspiring musicians, film enthusiasts, and anyone who believes in the power of perseverance. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/postinblack/support

With this in mind, and looking to drive away from unnecessary fear and uncertainty, first he explores the present context and work conditions to point out the importance of incorporating people's singularity and values to the work environment. Then, he shifts the focus towards technology, going through a little bit of history to introduce the concept of “adaptive platforms” to think about possible future scenarios in tech. Christopher Dancy, also known as “The World's Most Connected Person,” is a highly recognized voice within the ITSM community. Before going independent as a consultant, author, and speaker, he served in different roles for companies such as LANDESK Software, CTOBMC Software, PinkElephant, ServiceNow, BMC, Healthways, and Compassware. Christopher also founded ServiceSphere, the first ITSM organization to market with offerings combining Social Media and ITSM.

Domestic homicides of women by the men who claim to love them are sadly all too common. Remarkably Ghost Story, much like the 1937 male police officers and the Dancy family, are willing to accept a much more fantastical explanation of the untimely deaths of Dr John Dancy's two wives, Dr Naomi and Mary, just because he said it were so, and in spite of the totality of the circumstantial evidence which told a very different story. Every time it takes women to stand up and challenge the dominant narrative – a recurring story that is as old as time. If you, like Laura and Jackie, are interested in the search for truth, join the conversation about what really happened to Dr Naomi Dancy, Mary Garston and Maurice Tribe.
