Spouting Off with Karen Kataline Don Lemon's MAGA Claim, Sean Hannity's Colorado Blind Spot, and an Iran Escalation Debate Karen Kataline crosses over to The Vic Porcelli Show for two segments, trading views with Vic Porcelli, Kenny Williams, producer Ken, and Nate on Don Lemon's MAGA-Nazi comparison, Sean Hannity's softball treatment of Colorado's governor, the Iran standoff, government fraud, and a Florida candidate's call to kill Trump. Don Lemon's MAGA Comparison Opens the Show Vic Porcelli opens Thursday's show with co-host Kenny Williams and a rapid-fire montage before welcoming Karen Kataline to the program. The clip features Don Lemon comparing MAGA to what he calls the modern version of the Nazi Party, quickly adding "without the Holocaust and all that stuff," and arguing that Trump voters ignore facts because they are really motivated by white supremacy and resentment toward immigrants, minorities, and women. Porcelli reads Kataline the clip's most pointed lines; she cannot immediately place the voice, laughs once Porcelli names Lemon, and calls the comparison pure projection, arguing it better describes the people making it. Warned against cursing, she settles for saying Lemon is talking out of his ass. Porcelli likens the Holocaust caveat to praising a meal while waving off its cholesterol, and Kataline compares the tactic to minimizing September 11th. Kataline, who traces her family to Denver's old Jewish west side, says the state's collapse breaks her heart and accuses Hannity of doing no preparation, relying instead on a canned "we've known each other a long time" line she says Porcelli and his wife once turned into a drinking game at the Milwaukee convention. She likens Hannity's approach to actors phoning in a performance and ranks him, alongside Laura Ingraham, among the worst interviewers in media for still fumbling the broadcast delay after decades on air. Porcelli plugs St. Louis afternoon hosts Tim Jones and Chris Arps as the better alternative, and Kataline says she has no problem calling out weak or compromised Republicans who protect their own re-election over election integrity. Forget About It: A Mob-Movie Interlude Producer Ken interrupts to say Hannity constantly talks over his guests before letting announcer Ed Stoyte pop in with a quick hello. Kataline needles Ken for delivering the line in what she calls a non-Italian way and asks Porcelli to demonstrate a proper "hey, how you doing." Kataline recalls the movie only vaguely and jokes about the character's half-asleep delivery, comparing it to Frank Sinatra's effortless swagger. Ken tosses in the line "minchia, those peppers" for a laugh before Porcelli wraps the segment, thanking Kataline and telling her to have a great weekend. Before signing off, Porcelli teases Ken about how anxious everyone had been over Kataline's earlier absence from the show, and the trio wraps up warmly ahead of the program's next hour with Nate. Lindsay Clancy's lawyer just said the quiet part out loud.
