I want to extend a sincere thank you to Lieutenant Commander Kegan “SMURF” Gill, U.S. Navy (Ret.), former F/A-18 Super Hornet pilot, for making this connection possible with Justin SheehanKegan's commitment to helping high-performance professionals is phenomenal, and he continues to bring important voices and real-world experience to a wider audience. Kegan — I appreciate the trust and the bridge you built here.Justin Sheehan is a former SEAL Team Six operator, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu instructor, and coach whose experience spans elite special operations, traumatic brain injury recovery, and high-performance training. His career placed him in environments where discipline, adaptability, and resilience were not concepts — they were survival requirements. Today, he applies those lessons to coaching athletes, civilians, and professionals seeking durability in both body and mind.Justin's perspective is shaped by hard realities. He speaks openly about the hidden toll of traumatic brain injuries — not only from combat, but from repeated concussive exposure through training, firearms use, and contact sports. The cumulative damage is often misdiagnosed, manifesting as depression, hormonal disruption, sleep issues, and cognitive decline. His message is direct: the small hits add up, and awareness, assessment, and recovery must be taken seriously.Discipline, in Justin's view, is not rigidity — it is maintenance. In military life, accountability is built in; in civilian life, it must be intentional. Sleep, nutrition, hydration, and consistent movement form the foundation of recovery and longevity. Alcohol, poor sleep, and inactivity erode performance faster than age ever will. Movement is medicine. Intensity — scaled to reality — preserves capability. He draws clear parallels between special operations and athletics: both involve trauma, recovery, stress adaptation, and mental resilience. Training must reflect reality. Live sparring, pressure testing, and scenario-based training build the mindset and competence required when stakes are real. Sport fighting has rules; self-defense does not. The goal is survival and creating the opportunity to escape. As a coach, Justin emphasizes humility, specialization, and continuous learning. Elite teams rely on experts; effective coaching requires knowing your limits and building networks of competence. He also stresses the importance of empowering others — especially women — with practical self-defense skills and the confidence to act under pressure. At its core, Justin Sheehan's message is about resilience built through discipline, awareness, and purposeful training. Protect the brain. Maintain the body. Train for reality. Stay adaptable. Capability is not preserved by accident — it is maintained through consistent, deliberate effort.

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Dr. Krista Fazio, a Doctor of Physical Therapy based in Portugal to discuss the evolving role of physical therapy, the importance of strength and mobility for longevity and pain reduction, and the rise of female practitioners.Train like an athlete. Move better. Feel stronger.
Dr. K is a Doctor of Physical Therapy based in Portugal who represents the modern evolution of her profession. Working with clients across performance, rehabilitation, and longevity, her work focuses on restoring strength, mobility, and resilience so people can return not just to baseline—but to capability. Her company, FitPhysio, Krista provides cutting-edge, science-backed rehab and training programs to clients both online and in-person. Her approach blends the best of physical therapy and strength training to help a wide range of clients... from professional athletes to individuals looking to rebuild strength, and optimize their movement for longevity. Krista's philosophy is simple but powerful: build strength and mobility to protect your joints, reduce pain, and preserve your body for the long run. Whether you're looking to get back to sport, stay pain-free, or simply move better in daily life, Krista delivers the expertise and personalized care to help you get there. What most people interpret as “tightness” is often weakness. The nervous system restricts motion when it senses instability. Build strength in those ranges, and the body unlocks pain-free movement.Krista does not adhere to the insurance-driven physical therapy model that prioritizes heat, ice, and temporary relief- Instead, her approach is active, progressive, and system-wide. Low back pain is rarely just a back issue. Hip instability, poor foot mechanics, rib positioning, weak glutes—everything connects. Treat the body as a system, not a symptom.Dr. Fazio has also embraced online care, demonstrating that effective assessment, coaching, and accountability can be delivered globally. In many cases, remote therapy increases ownership—clients see themselves move, understand their patterns, and take responsibility for progress. Her message is consistent: build strength. Train mobility with control. Strengthen the glutes. Stabilize the core. Progress deliberately. Longevity is not accidental—it is trained. This conversation is about modernizing physical therapy, reclaiming responsibility for your body, and building a structure that holds up under stress—for sport, for life, and for decades to come

Rob Ingram, Inside McDojo Life: Real Self-Defense vs. Rule-Based FantasyFounder of McDojo Life3rd Degree Karate Black BeltCo-founder of academysafe.orgThis week, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Rob Ingram, known globally as McDojo Life. He has spent nearly three decades inside the martial arts world as a practitioner, instructor, and insider. With 28 years of experience across multiple disciplines, and a 3rd Degree Karate Black Belt, he has become one of the most visible voices exposing corruption, abuse, and fraud. We spoke about an amazing range of topics, from Sarah Haspel's brilliant invention - “The BESTIE” co-designed by a Rocket Scientist, safety from sexual predators for kids and females in martial arts, founding a USA wide database of convicted and fake “senseis”, Tim Kennedy the green beret turned UFC fighter to Pressure Testing martial arts for real world self defence!Rob's work shines a light on a hard truth: martial arts in the United States operates largely without regulation, allowing unqualified and dangerous individuals to assume positions of authority—often over children.Beneath the glossy surface of martial arts the industry—especially in the United States—faces serious challenges: lack of regulation, abuse of authority, and even criminal behavior. His response was not just criticism and calling them out, he took action. As co-founder of Academy Safe, Rob is on a mission to solve this- in his words:“At Academy Safe, we are driven by a deep commitment to protecting martial artists from abuse, assault, and the inherent risks that exist in the absence of federal or state regulations. Founded to address the unsettling prevalence of sexual assault, abuse, and rape in martial arts, our mission is to create safe, supportive, and secure environments for students across the United States. As a non-profit organization, our primary focus is the development of a national registry of martial arts academies. This registry will establish a new benchmark for safety, holding academies to strict standards designed to protect both students and staff.”Equally important to Rob is the preservation of martial arts as something real and functional. He stresses that training must extend beyond tradition and competition rules into pressure-tested, real-world applicability. His message is consistent: if a system or weapon fails under stress, it fails—regardless of how good it looks in theory. This is a necessary conversation about integrity, accountability, and what martial arts should stand for and I loved how authentic, real and passionate this conversation got!

This week, I had the incredible opportunity to sit down with Rachel Godfrey- Blonde. Wild. Spiritual. Disruptive. Delusionally Optimistic.

Rachel is a former physiotherapist, professional trainer, and high-performance mentor with over 19 years of experience operating at the intersection of health, strength, and leadership. She has built multiple performance consulting and digital businesses, advised senior executives and entrepreneurs, and had her work published globally in outlets including Oxygen Magazine, Shape, Cosmopolitan, Men's Fitness, Entrepreneur.com, the Sydney Morning Herald, and The National UAE. Known as the “A-Players Mentor” and co-director of Chase Life Consulting, Rachel has earned a reputation for working with people who operate at the top — and who refuse to be managed with soft answers. At the core of Rachel's work is a simple but confronting question: do you want kindness, or do you want nice? Raised as a tomboy in Wales, forged through rugby, and shaped early in her career by treating severely injured soldiers in a military ICU, Rachel learned that real performance is built through emotional resilience, personal responsibility, and doing the minimum effective work required — not endless grind. Her coaching blends scientific precision with deep identity and mindset work, challenging high-achieving women (especially over 35) to rebalance strength, femininity, and self-worth without abandoning ambition.Today, Rachel mentors executives and entrepreneurs to align body, business, and identity through strength training, intelligent supplementation, and direct, no-nonsense coaching. Her work focuses on sustainable performance, fast belief-building wins, and teaching clients how to lead with both power and awareness. This episode is an unfiltered conversation about trauma, discipline, mindset, and what it actually takes to perform at a high level — without losing yourself in the process.P.S. Good science isn't proprietary knowledge; it's practical common sense. Firstly I would like to thank my friend and podcast sponsor Shaun Sargent of STAIT FOR MEN for making this amazing episode happen. This week, I had the honor of speaking with Mike Bates- Former MOD Covert Operations Leader, Commando & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Black Belt turned solo ocean rower, community builder and entrepreneur. There's no-one in the world with Mike's experience.Mike brings exceptional credibility: he served two decades in the UK's Royal Marines and the Ministry of Defence, rising to become a human-intelligence specialist and covert counter-terrorism operations leader ( AKA James Bond, and leading other Bond teams) and was the first officer in the MOD to pass all the required front-line counter-terror courses.Following that elite career, he turned ultra-endurance athlete, completing the 3,000-mile solo row across the Atlantic in just 46 days 6 hours 10 minutes — the fastest Briton and first solo finisher of the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge. He now co-founds and leads the mission-driven community Unify Men (and its predecessor brand NXT45) focused on men's health, connection, and transformation. His core insight is powerful:The ultimate act of courage for a man is vulnerability.
Strength isn't proven by suppressing emotion — it's shown in connection, authenticity, and the bravery to face one's own trauma. Mike's lived experience (in covert ops, ultra-endurance rowing, and men's transformation) underpins that insight. Through immersing men in nature, building safe circles, practicing martial arts (like Brazilian Jiu Jitsu), and emphasising fundamentals such as sleep and relinquishing ego, he provides a roadmap for modern masculinity.Today, Mike's work with Unify Men gives fathers and men a tribe, creates spaces where men can share truth without shame, and champions that the smartest fight is the one you don't take. He emphasises: prioritise sleep, step outside (into nature), get comfortable with vulnerability, de-escalate ego, and start telling the truth about what you feel.Bottom line:
This isn't another “tough guy” message — it's a call to men to live longer, love deeper, and lead better. Mike shows that real power comes when a man stops pretending…and starts connecting. Today, Mike is a man on a mission to help others to become the best version of themselves. Drawing on his own unique, remarkable experiences he inspires and empowers others to live life without limits.

He knew that in order to save more New Zealanders from preventable death, Kiwis needed to be given the knowledge and opportunity for engaging, relevant training. His goal is to ensure there are more competent and confident responders, and less qualified witnesses. In 2018, PracMed NZ was born."

In this amazing episode, I sit down with Kegan "SMURF" Gill, a former U.S. Navy F/A-18 Super Hornet fighter pilot who survived the fastest ejection in naval aviation history — launched from his jet at 695 mph- at 50 G's.The injuries he sustained in that moment were severe enough to kill most people — limbs torn apart and a traumatic brain injury among them. But Kegan's ordeal didn't end there. After ejecting, Kegan plunged into the icy waters of the Atlantic Ocean, battling hypothermia, sharks and drowning for two hours as rescue teams rushed to find him. Miraculously, his hypothermic state helped prevent fatal blood loss. This was just the beginning of his fight for survival. We discuss Kegan's journey through:-The severe psychotic episodes and dehumanizing treatments he faced after his brain injury.-His struggle to find proper mental health care, pushing him to eventually seek alternative treatments, including psychedelic therapy and nutraceutical interventions through the Warrior Angels Foundation.-The critical role of family and support systems in his recovery.-His advocacy for veterans' mental health and the systemic challenges in the VA system, and how he now dedicates himself to breaking the stigma around mental health care.Kegan's story is not just about surviving the unthinkable; it's about using that survival as fuel to help others. His fight for healing, and his transformation into a public advocate, is an inspiration to anyone overcoming trauma.

ASHLEIGH GASS- A CANADIAN IN FLORIDA-MERGING GYMNASTICS STRENGTH TRAINING (Calisthenics) WITH TRADITIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING NUTRITION/MOBILITY/STRETCHING/MOVEMENT/STRENGTH/ www.movegst.com Firstly let me apologise for the very inconsiderate Australian wildlife you will hear in the show- bloody crows and kookaburras!! But I digress- on with the show! Ashleigh Gass- owner of movegst.com, based in Florida, successfully grew her business during the dark ages of 2020-2022 and I was intrigued to find out exactly how she did it. The answer lay in three words- EVOLVE, GROW & DISOBEY. The lockdown saw the team launch online in 2020, at a time much like Body Synergy gym in NZ Dunedin did, and stayed ahead of the curve. We spoke about former Olympic Coach Christopher Sommer's programming and how it saved her body post neural surgery and by simply following the process from baby beginner steps to where she is now- it works.Ash has adapted the exercise programming at movegst.com to combine GYMNASTICS WITH TRADITIONAL STRENGTH TRAINING like kettlebells, dumbbells etc. And they achieve phenomenally surprising fat loss with teaching NUTRITION/MOBILITY/STRETCHING/MOVEMENT/STRENGTH. We talked about the similarities of our processes with clients using empowering nutrition, trusting the programming and not being too tied to the process of weight loss, to achieve great success for the people who are ready to learn. Experts like Professor Andrew Huberman, Dr Peter Attia, Robb Wolff came up in our discussion, and it was great to share the synergies in what we learn, teach and use in our daily lives. Ashleigh Gass is an underrated understated wealth of knowledge, and I am sure you will love watching her videos on Insta

From high school dropout to licensed attorney to military magistrate to emergency physician, Dr. Jenn's path defies convention and embodies grit.
Allow me to introduce Dr. Jenn properly -Jennifer L'Hommedieu Stankus, MD, JD, FACEPBoard Certified Emergency PhysicianProducer, Military & Law Enforcement content, American Stories Entertainment Past Chair, Emergency Medicine FoundationLicensed attorney and Former military magistrateCourtroom Expert Witness - Comprehensive Medical Legal Consultants, LLCThis means Dr. Jenn is an ER doc, lawyer, military vet x 2, former LEO and reality tv star. Her background fuses combat-tested discipline, medical precision, and legal expertise into a life of service, leadership, and high-stakes decision-making.But it wasn't always clear she'd end up here. Dr. Jenn opens up about her early years—dropping out of high school at 16 and enlisting in the military at 17. That decision changed everything. From there, she cultivated a mindset forged in discipline and resilience, guiding her through the challenges of earning both an MD and a JD. Along the way, she became a voice of reason in chaos, whether in the ER, a courtroom, or on a survival show like Surviving Mann with former guest and Seal Team 6 Operator and the most dangerous man- in the world - that I know, Don Mann.At the heart of this episode is a powerful insight: mental toughness often beats physical strength. Whether competing against elite operators on national television or advocating for preparedness and self-defense in daily life, Dr. Jenn illustrates that perseverance, mindset, and a refusal to quit are the ultimate force multipliers. Her journey reminds us that the most effective tool for survival—on the street or in the ER—is the mind. Now, she's sharing those lessons through writing, media, and mentorship. Her upcoming book, Hard Target, blends practical self-defense wisdom with real-world urgency. As a co-host on Surviving Mann and a producer of tactical media, she continues to mentor and inspire a wide audience, especially those who feel underestimated or overlooked.Whether you're in medicine, law, military service, or simply trying to grow stronger every day, Dr. Jenn offers a blueprint for resilience and reinvention—no matter where you start.

Ania Drozd never set out to become a clinical movement specialist. She began, instead, with a single question: Why? Why do people move the way they do? Why does pain persist even after treatment? Why do standard protocols so often fall short? The answers weren't in the textbooks. They were in the body. And they were inside her own.Raised in a family where sports were as natural as breathing, Ania's first passion was equestrian show jumping. Her early years were marked by discipline, competition, and performance under pressure—qualities that would later define her professional philosophy. But when the mental and physical toll of that life became unsustainable, she did something rare: she listened to her instincts and walked away. What followed was not retreat, but reinvention. Ania dove into weightlifting, calisthenics, and eventually clinical movement practice—not as a hobby, but as a form of personal problem-solving. Injuries, chronic pain, and a lack of clear answers from specialists forced her to build her own solutions. When MRIs, X-rays, and professional opinions led nowhere, she trusted her gut and went inward, combining her formal education in neuropharmacology with thousands of hours of experimentation and self-study.What emerged was a framework grounded in biology, behavior, and biomechanics—a common-sense system built not on trends, but on truth. She came to understand pain not as an enemy, but as a signal—one that reveals the body's inefficiencies, compensations, and imbalances. She began asking better questions—and helping others do the same.Today, Ania leads a select group of clients through that same process: breaking cycles of chronic pain and rebuilding functional movement from the ground up. Her work is defined by precision, quality, and a refusal to do anything halfway. She prioritizes depth over scale, impact over popularity, and results over trends. Her philosophy is simple:“You don't fix movement by treating symptoms. You fix movement by understanding the system.”This mindset has shaped her transition from in-person coaching to a streamlined, high-accountability online practice that spans time zones and continents. She's built a trusted brand, not by marketing noise, but by meaningful results—and by earning her clients' respect through clarity, consistency, and care.Ania Drozd is not selling movement. She's selling autonomy.
For those willing to do the work, her process doesn't just relieve pain—it redefines the way people move through life.

Tim Stout
“How A Pro MMA Career Paved the Way for Real Estate Success”

This time, I had the pleasure of chatting with Tim Stout, former professional fighter turned real estate mogul. Tim's journey is nothing short of inspiring, and I can't wait for you to dive into our conversation. Tim, also known by his fight nickname "MOAB" (Massive Ordnance Air Blast), earned the title for his explosive, powerful presence in the ring. The nickname reflects his intense fighting style and the impact he had on opponents.

Tim began his journey in martial arts at age seven and went on to become a professional MMA and kickboxing fighter, eventually competing in Strikeforce. With a pro MMA record of 16 wins and 10 losses, including 8 knockouts, 3 submissions, Tim's career was forged in real competition. Today, he's known not just for his fight record but for building a thriving real estate business grounded in the same discipline and drive that fuelled his years in the cage.As Tim grew up, his passion for combat sports expanded into tough man competitions—venues where he could test himself against untrained but determined opponents. One humbling session with a jiu-jitsu instructor changed everything, leading Tim to train seriously in the art and ultimately go pro. Despite his success, Tim recognized the limitations of a long-term career in combat sports. The physical toll and financial uncertainty—especially while running a gym—pushed him to make a bold pivot: real estate.“You can't teach tough.” For Tim, toughness is about mindset. It's the ability to take a hit—literally or figuratively—and keep moving forward. This combat sports mindset became his greatest transferable skill. In business, just like in the ring, setbacks are inevitable. Tim credits his success in real estate to the same principles he used in fighting: staying calm under pressure, showing up consistently, and pushing forward even when things get hard. Confidence isn't just a feeling—it's something earned through repeated exposure to discomfort and challenge.Tim's training philosophy is rooted in realism and development. For kids, he recommends boxing as the foundation—it builds confidence and helps them learn to manage fear and contact. He also values wrestling as a dominant, control-based discipline. For adults, particularly women, Tim stresses proactive, decisive action in dangerous situations, focusing on targeting vital areas like the eyes, throat, and groin. And for law enforcement, he advocates for training that bridges the gap between sport and survival—equipping officers with practical, hands-on skills to reduce reliance on weapons and improve outcomes in the field.Today, Tim splits his time between leading one of the region's top real estate teams and running his gym, Independent MMA & Fitness in Newnan, Georgia, where clients from 20 to 55 train not to hurt, but to learn. His advice spans far beyond the mat: be proactive, build confidence early, and never underestimate the power of physical and mental preparation. From the dojo to the closing table, Tim Stout's life proves that real-world resilience is the ultimate transferable skill.

This experience reinforced a critical lesson: even experienced individuals can become complacent, making consistent awareness and preparedness essential. Here are key insights for enhancing personal safety:Trust Your Instincts: Bill emphasized the importance of trusting your gut feelings. A veteran of Afghanistan and Iraq, he now trains Marine Raiders and holds multiple master's degrees, including an MFA in creative writing. He is also the author of Tough Rugged Bastards. Over the course of his career, John played a pivotal role in shaping the Marine Corps' special operations capabilities, including the formation of the Marine Raiders. From his early days in Force Recon to deploying alongside Navy SEALs in Iraq, John's experience spans some of the most transformative moments in modern military history. In this episode, John shares a powerful insight that has shaped both his military career and his life beyond service:"When the mission changes, your mindset must change with it. Adaptability isn't just a skill; it's a survival tool.”This mindset defined John's ability to lead through shifting roles, new threats, and unexpected challenges. After 9/11, as the Marine Corps was tasked with creating a new special operations unit, John found himself at the forefront of this transformation. Working alongside Colonel Robert Coates, John helped form the Marine Corps' first special operations unit, which would later become the Marine Raiders. Their initial deployment alongside Navy SEALs in Iraq in 2004 marked a turning point for the Marine Corps' role in SOCOM and the wider special operations landscape.John's philosophy on leadership, adaptability, and teamwork is deeply rooted in his military experience. He emphasizes that even support roles — mechanics, medics, and administrative staff — were vital to mission success. "Everybody fights," John recalls. "That mindset kept us prepared for anything.”Mental Fortitude and Problem-Solving: The ability to navigate high-stress situations and solve problems under pressure is crucial in special operations. John's resilience and growth throughout his career serve as an inspiration for aspiring operators and veterans alike.Since retiring, John has continued to share his insights on leadership, resilience, and the importance of finding purpose after military service. His book, Tough Rugged Bastards, blends personal stories with actionable lessons for overcoming adversity and embracing change. For those navigating their own transitions — whether in the military, corporate world, or personal life — John's message is clear: adaptability, teamwork, and purpose are the cornerstones of success.John's remarkable journey, from the sands of Iraq to mentoring others through his writing, stands as a testament to the power of perseverance and the enduring strength of the Marine Corps spirit. Why You Should Listen: This episode is a deep dive into the world of special operations, filled with historical context, personal stories, and valuable lessons. BROOKE MCINTOSH - Resilience mentorKeynote speakerEntrepreneurRunner“From Trauma to Triumph: How Running Across Australia Saved My Life”Brooke ran 1,600 km across Australia in just 27 days to raise awareness for mental health. Now, she's preparing for an even greater challenge—running acrossthe entire continent, averaging 80 km per day for 180 days.Brooke's journey with mental health began at 12 after facing significant trauma. Instead of letting it define her, she turned her struggles into a mission—advocating for open conversations, particularly in high-stress, male-dominated FIFO (fly-in, fly-out) mining industries. She knows firsthand that breaking the silence can save lives.Brooke's Journey: From Trauma to TriumphBrooke's story isn't just about endurance—it's about survival and transformation. After experiencing sexual assault at 12, 14, and 24, she faced battles with anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. But instead of being consumed by pain, she chose to fight back.A major turning point came in August 2022 when she survived a serious car accident. That wake-up call led her to redefine her purpose, and running became her way to heal—not just herself, but others struggling in silence.Key Takeaways:

✅ The Power of Running for Mental Health – How running provides clarity, relieves stress, and builds resilience.✅ Training & Recovery – Strength training, ice baths, visualization, and nutrition- ALL the strategies, tips and tricks that keep her going.✅ Facing Fear Head-On – How surviving a life-threatening accident shaped her mental toughness and approach to PTSD.✅ Safety While Running – Dealing with harassment on the road and essential strategies for staying safe.✅ The Importance of Community – Why open conversations and seeking support are crucial for mental well-being.Brooke's story is one of grit, purpose, and transformation. Matt Gantry's journey is one of resilience, transformation, and the power of storytelling. Once a truck driver navigating the open roads, his life took an unexpected turn after a devastating accident that forced him to redefine his future. Rather than letting adversity define him, Matt embraced writing as a means of healing, ultimately becoming the author of The Gamer—a thrilling story that blends his passion for gaming with his own life experiences."Writing became my way of processing everything—the pain, the uncertainty, the new reality I had to face. I never expected it to become something more, but storytelling gave me a purpose I never saw coming.”The Gamer by Matt Gantry is a gripping novel that tells the story of Harry Fearn, a video game enthusiast, with a love for the SAS ( Special Air Service) who finds himself in a real-life hostage situation. Drawing on his gaming skills, Harry navigates the dangerous scenario, using his strategic thinking and quick reflexes to outsmart the terrorists. The book, inspired by Gantry's own life experiences—including the accident that led him to pursue writing—seamlessly weaves action, suspense, and personal growth into a high-stakes narrative.Matt's journey from truck driver to author wasn't just about personal reinvention—it was about finding a voice and sharing a story that resonates. His dedication to storytelling has now led him to expand The Gamer into a six-part series, as well as an audiobook adaptation that brings his world to life in a whole new way.Matt lives by the belief that even the most unexpected challenges can lead to extraordinary transformations. Rebecca Santos: Advocate, Survivor, and Bold Voice for ChangeRebecca Santos, known as “The Bold Advocate,” dedicates her life to protecting children and raising awareness about abuse and trafficking. From her earliest days, Rebecca's life was shaped by challenges that most would find insurmountable.

Conceived through rape, groomed as a preteen, and exposed to pornography as a young child, she emerged into a world marred by abuse and pain. Yet, guided by her unwavering faith in Jesus Christ, Rebecca refused to be defined by her circumstances.

Instead, she chose to embrace her purpose as a survivor—a thriver—a bold advocate for change.she works to educate parents, caregivers, and leaders on recognising and preventing abuse, driven by shocking statistics: 1 in 3 girls and 1 in 4 boys will face sexual abuse before 18.With encouragement from her husband, Rebecca embraced technology to amplify her advocacy, using social media and her website to connect with others and share resources. Her mission is fuelled by real-life stories of trafficking, like a 16-year-old girl narrowly escaping abduction at a football game, and by the limitations of law enforcement, highlighting the need for community involvement.Rebecca also emphasises personal safety, inspired by a terrifying experience that led her to seek firearm training and self-defence education. She advocates for open communication with children about body boundaries and recognising behavioural changes that may signal abuse.Politically engaged, Rebecca underscores how leadership and policies shape child advocacy efforts and encourages voting for candidates who prioritise safety. Her advice to aspiring advocates is simple: take action, leverage resources, and collaborate to combat exploitation.Through her relentless efforts, Rebecca Santos inspires others to stand up for vulnerable children and be part of the solution.
