In this episode, I open up about: Why patience (my least favorite skill!) has become a necessary part of my business evolution The reality of organic growth vs. intentional growth The behind-the-scenes work I've been doing to create lower-cost offers, build stronger backend systems, and restructure for long-term scalability How business growth without structure can leave practice owners overworked and underpaid — even as their business gets bigger Why it's critical to create multiple access points for clients at different stages while building true client experiences (not just self-study courses) How I'm personally helping health professionals and practice owners grow intentionally If you've ever felt like your business growth has outpaced your backend structure — or you're stuck in the same place even as more clients come in — this episode will help you reflect on where you are and what the next intentional step might look like.

Why are changes and improvements so hard to implement? Maybe we start strong, but then old habits die hard. Or, maybe we never even started with the improvement. Why? In this episode, Dr. Kuba and Bethany discuss the challenge of implementation. They incorporate several real scenarios of team members and discuss the WHY behind the lack of implementation. In one of the scenarios, an attitude of resistance was the cause, while another scenario proved to be simply a “ceiling” issue. In order to correct a lack of implementation, it is critical that team leaders understand their team's default so that effective long-term solutions can be made. How long has the system been out of use? The consequences of unfollowed systems are numerous. First, team members can be confused, leading them to spend too much time seeking clarification from others. Welcome to this episode of 20/20 Money! In today's episode, we're diving into the details of your tax return—beyond just whether you got a refund. We'll break down the difference between deductions and credits, how our tax brackets work, why you should focus on Line 24—your total tax paid—instead of Lines 34 or 37, and what Line 38 might be telling you about penalties and interest. We'll also highlight common areas for errors, clarify how the QBI deduction applies depending on your income level, and walk through important forms like Form 8960 for NIIT cancelation, Form 8889 for HSAs, and the health insurance deduction. As a reminder, you can get all the information discussed in today's conversation by visiting our website at integratedpwm.com and clicking on the Learning Center. With an alarming growth of angry and unhappy people in the world, it's not a surprise that the dental field is seeing its fair share. As disappointing as it is to have an angry, unhappy, or even volatile patient, it only gets harder when a dentist considers the options for dealing with the angry patient. What should a doctor and team do with the unhappy customer? Should they seek to reconcile? Should they send a termination letter? Should they call the person? So many options, each with their own pluses and minuses. In this episode, Dr. Kuba and Bethany discuss a few different angry patient scenarios. They each share their perspective on how they think it should be handled. Finally, Bethany encourages all listeners to pick a consistent response – one that can be implemented across most circumstances. Patient care is often a shared process among various providers. Dentists must coordinate care with dental specialists like oral surgeons, orthodontists, periodontists, pediatric dentists, and endodontists and vice versa. In addition, dental professionals must coordinate care among medical providers to obtain medical clearances as well as important information regarding medicines/pre-medication recommendations. This coordinated effort is a critical aspect of providing premium quality care for patients. In this episode, Dr. Kuba and Bethany discuss the importance of this process while also talking about the things that often go wrong in the process. Together, they have tips and suggestions for improving relationships amongst referral sources. Previous Episodes Worth Revisiting: What is Good Customer Service?
