We managed to jam-pack this episode of the Dirty Thirty with highlights from SIX of Dirty Mo Media's shows this week. Our hosts need to stop making it so hard to pick with these banger moments — this show is only thirty minutes, guys! First up, Denny Hamlin predicts where his final win total lands and talks about what it meant to have his family in Las Vegas for victory number 61. A day later and possibly a dollar shorter from an extra night on the strip, we hear from the fans of Door Bumper Clear in Reaction Theatre, where Wood Brothers Racing President Jon Wood shares what he would personally do to will Josh Berry into some better finishes. After that, legendary wrestler Magnum T.A. describes the circumstances surrounding the car wreck that almost took his life, and still affects him to this day. In Dirty Air this week, Dale Jr. reacts to the news that Carson Hocevar will run a throwback scheme of his dad's — and it just so happens to be Jr.'s favorite paint scheme of the Intimidator's. Speaking of favorites, our favorite power couple came back from spring break, so you know Dale & Amy have tons to discuss about skiing, falling, and laughing all the way. Lastly, Jeff Gluck interviewed Ricky Stenhouse Jr. to get some insight on what goes into (and comes out of) throwing a punch, after Daniel Suarez & Ross Chastain almost got physical on pit road last weekend. Now that's a show if you ask us! Enjoy the show and tune in next time to hear the very best from what Dirty Mo Media has to offer. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Stephanie Hodge joins the show to talk about working with Liza Kudrow and tells an amazing story about predicting the Jennifer Anniston Brad Pitt marriage. Adam then explains why Cheech and Chong albums aren't actually as funny as people think they are. Mayhem Miller then joins the show to break down the Ronda Rousey vs Gina Carano fight and they dive into Hollywood's McCarthyism. This was a fun one. GET IT ON. Dale and Amy are back with a chaotic, story-packed episode after a busy stretch on the road, featuring a rough morning scramble, a forehead injury that ends with a Peppa Pig band-aid, and some wild kid antics involving scissors and scabs. Plus, the Dirty Shirley drink of the week sparks a hilarious conversation about getting older and how your body starts doing unexpected things. They also recap their family ski trip in Colorado, from first-time skiing and a few big falls (not on the slopes) to fearless kids, chair lift struggles, and a tubing trip that turns into a full-on “ask for the manager” moment. Add in a dentist visit that somehow requires a chaperone, a missed tooth fairy situation, and a fun round of Ask Amy, and you've got an episode full of laughs, parenting moments, and plenty of chaos. Making his triumphant return to the guest seat on Door Bumper Clear, Jon Wood, President of Wood Brothers Racing, joins the crew to discuss the race in Las Vegas, speeding tickets & the end of throwback weekend. After catching up with what Jon's been up to, the usual suspects, Freddie Kraft, Tommy Baldwin & Karsyn Elledge, kick us off with what happened in Las Vegas: speeding penalties galore, Denny Hamlin's dominating performance, and some post-race beef between ex-teammates, Ross Chastain & Daniel Suarez. In Spot On, Spot Off, the crew discusses: - Denny Hamlin's chances of breaking 70 career wins - Throwback Weekend is coming to an end after 10 years - How soon will SVG win on an oval track? This week's calls in Reaction Theatre were something to behold, with fans crushing beers and commenting on Freddie's uncharacteristically wild hair, and he reveals the reason behind the long locks. There were so many nominees for S*** Show Hall of Fame this week that it was hard for the crew to remember them all. And in Ask DBC, even though we are only 5 races into the year, you guys asked about silly season, so Freddie talks about some rumors he's heard around the garage. On this episode of Actions Detrimental, the guys break down a chaotic Las Vegas weekend that ended with career win No. 61 for Denny Hamlin and the No. 11 team. After a speeding penalty on pit road nearly derailed the day, the team rallied back to the front and led 134 laps to take the victory. They also discuss the pit road miscalculation, the adjustments that kept the car fast, and the disciplined drive that sealed the win. They also talk about finding their rhythm again after a tough offseason, the special family moment in victory lane, and the goal of winning one of the next three races. The guys also weigh in on the tension between Ross Chastain and Daniel Suarez. And to wrap things up, a friendly fishing competition turns into a full-blown rules debate after a very questionable weigh-in. Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Given the massive success of “Top Gun,” you can't blame Paramount for running it back with producers Don Simpson & Jerry Bruckheimer, director Tony Scott and actor Tom Cruise. 1990's “Days of Thunder” would inevitably, and perhaps unfairly, be labeled as “Top Gun on Wheels,” but the reality is the film is a superb technical achievement, an entertaining, high octane action vehicle that thrust you into the exciting world of NASCAR. Charlie Legg joins the pit crew to discuss his love of racing, and argue that while rubbin' is racing, you're not supposed to hit the pace car. Dedicated to the late Robert Duvall. Hosted on Acast. It's Door Bumper Clear's 400th episode! So, we had to go big with our guest, and there's no one bigger than Randy LaJoie, a.k.a. “Big Rand.” He joins DBC to talk about Phoenix, his racing seats, and the crazy stories from his racing past. To open the show, Randy takes us down memory lane with stories about racing Dale Earnhardt, the race car he still hates, and how he got into making life-saving seats. Then the gang dives into the race in Phoenix, where horsepower, tire pressure, and Ryan Blaney's comeback became some of the biggest storylines of the day. In Spot On, Spot Off, the topics they tee off on include: • A crew chief's aggressive tire pressure play after Stage 1 • Ty Gibbs' post-race comments about being with “the right guys” • Cleetus McFarland's breaking O'Reilly Auto Parts Series news • The reality of Chase Briscoe making the playoffs from 32nd in points We then hear from you guys in Reaction Theatre, where the toasters were put away, and the race fans were out to play. S*** Show Hall of Fame didn't disappoint, with Oscar Piastri, Dirt Crown Vics, and an unfortunate cameraman leading the way among the nominees. To wrap up the show, Randy LaJoie tells the insane story of his scary Daytona flip and shares his best Buckshot Jones memories. After that, the crew makes their picks for Vegas and shouts out their Weekend Winners. Here's to another 400 episodes. Thank you for all the listens! Denny Hamlin earns his first top-five finish of the season in Phoenix, but the car still wasn't as fast as Christopher Bell and Ryan Blaney. Denny explains why they had the best car in November but didn't have that same speed this time around. He admits he's checking the points after every race, but he isn't worried yet because the season is still long. Sunday's race featured more horsepower, failing tires, and racing that felt like old-school NASCAR. Denny explains why Goodyear isn't to blame for the tire issues and why the teams may have pushed things too far. The guys also debate the classic strategy question once again: two tires or four? Plus, Denny is happy that “win and you're in” is gone; they discuss whether Chase Briscoe's title hopes are already in trouble, preview why Darlington could turn into complete chaos, and Denny reveals he's going fishing at Celine Dion's later this week.
