Marley uses the hashtag "Get Jaxxed " when it comes to challenging her audience to build a bigger brand. It's a brilliant catchphrase, that shows her powerful skillset in language and marketing. It's definitely a great summary of her own brand too.Her current business is a joint venture with her husband, Steve, called "Youtube Lead Machine". They specialize in helping clients create organic youtube content that turns into leads for their business, while growing their authority.Figure Out Your Dreams And GoalsMarley explains how turning your passions and interests into a career, or at least part of a career, like a side hustle is very realistic. But, it needs to start with organic, intrinsic pursuits so that you actually love it. Be sure to connect things you are good at, to what you enjoy and make sure that people need, or want it.We talked about the fact that every person has a different path to success. Some people might want to go very niche with their content, some may want to stay a little broader and others somewhere in between. Or, some of us might not even know yet.Overcoming Adversity On The JourneyThe name ‘Jaxx' actually means someone who can overcome any obstacle that comes their way. One of the ways she overcomes obstacles and achieves her goals is something she learned from Tony Robbins. The life lesson that had the greatest impact on Marley was learning that if you change the story you tell yourself, then you'll be able to shift toward the life you want. The idea of “Be, Do, Have” is a mental framework for success that Marley leans on. She explained that we need to be the type of person who would achieve the things we want to have. We need to be that type of person first. Then we do the things that person does and finally, we will receive what that person gets. But it first starts with defining our identity. Deciding who we are. Fighting The Money MonsterMany of us, maybe even most of us grow up with confusion around money. Marley was no different. She talks about getting more and more comfortable with the value and positive aspects of money. She shares about overcoming money blocks, understanding how to make more, getting more comfortable earning more, charging more, and also spending more.Money is simply a “thank you” for the value we receive, and we should think about our investments this way as well. We should not be scared to make investments in life. Instead of asking “what is the cost of this?” Ask, “What is the cost of not doing this?” It may just be that not spending the money would be worse.Finding Balance And FlowMarley works hard. But more impressive is her ability to play hard, and relax as well. We talked about the importance of work, life, and creative balance. She shares how her goal is a state of flow in life. Can we maintain focus on what our passion currently is, while not overdoing it and burning out?Not getting caught up in the “have to-do's” but rather maintaining focus on the get-to-do's” is a key to life.As always, we talked about a bunch of fun topics; school; learning for the sake of accomplishing grades and passing tests, vs learning for enjoyment; learning how to learn; divorce, cancer, wellness, grief and creating impact in the time we have on earth.Tips On Entrepreneurship At it's core business is all about relationships, networking and exchanges of value for an agreed upon compensation, whether in partnerships, or in client deals and customers.Your success all starts with identity, habits and routines. Who are you, who do you want to be and how do those people act, what do they do?Take yourself to attractive character school (how to create simple, but effective setups for the best quality video creation, how to stand for the brand values that are true to you, how to speak, on camera, or off camera, crafting a message, how to deliver the message in a way that people want to hear more.)Learn how to live in the moment and enjoy the process of creating your hobby, side hustle, or career. Find excitement in figuring out the path, as opposed to the attainment of the goal.Study the routines, steps and habits of people who have achieved similar goals already. Create as the unique person you are, but decide what can you steal from them that will help you on your journey.Choose mentors that already have the thing that you want, whether it's an accomplishment in the industry or a lifestyle you would like. Learn from them, but also start teaching others to give back. As far as business systems go, it's always specific to the situation, but overall, it's a matter of creating content that is compelling and attracts an audience. Then, generate leads, nurture and support those leads, and a certain percentage will become customers. Fulfill your promise to them, possibly upsell and resell to your best clients by providing more of what they need.Never try to be someone else. There is so much noise out there we could be tempted to copy someone, but you need to stay true to yourself. Don't get distracted by other things you could do. Focus on the things you need to do to be authentically you.Build trust. Customers make purchase decisions on how much they trust a company or person. People will also be more likely to build collaborative ventures alongside you if there is a foundation of trust. When we make a mistake in our business and are unable to fulfill a promise for our customers that is up to our standards, effective communication can save the relationship. Have your heart and values in the right place, and be willing to listen, apologize, and offer various solutions. It's an individual decision, but if you want to be able to reach the maximum people and impact then you will have to start building a team. Build a culture of collaborative, extreme ownership within your team. Hold each other accountable and speak openly about failures, but also celebrate the wins and shout people out for doing great things to reinforce positive progress and effort.Put constant, never ending energy into continuing to improve your ability to solve problems for your clients.Memorable Quotes“One of the best things ever, is being able to find your passion and learn to monetize it, without losing the passion and reasons for why you loved it in the first place.”“How lucky are we today that we can literally turn our hobby into million dollar businesses?”“You are not going to attract what you want, you are going to attract what comes with who you are.”“There is always something we can learn, even if it is learning what not to do.”“New level, new devil.”“Commitment doesn't care how you feel.”Guest BioCEO of Jaxx Productions, and Youtube Lead Machine, Marley has 15 years of experience in the field of content marketing and video production. She is also a highly acclaimed business acceleration coach, speaker and course creator. From the pages of Forbes to the mainstage at Funnel Hacking Live, Marley works with her clients to discover the power of implementing an Infinite Cashflow System inside each of their businesses, built on effortless high-ticket customer ascension. In other words, she helps people create content that reaches a target audience effectively, educates them on why they should be a customer, nurtures them to appreciate the solution they are missing, and become a client that has a big, mutual benefit for the business owner and customer to grow the business.Marley's roster of clients includes such legendary thought leaders as Cristy Code Red, Alex Charfen, Daymond John, and Stephen Larsen. Question: Imposter Syndrome?

The Marketing Secrets Show

Q&A from the recent “Ecomm Vs Expert Smackdown”. Ben Moote asked a question about imposter syndrome. Hit me up on IG! @russellbrunson Text Me! 208-231-3797 Join my newsletter at marketingsecrets.com ClubHouseWithRussell.com Magnetic Marketing ---Transcript--- Russell Brunson: Good morning, everybody. This is Russell Brunson. Welcome back to the Marketing Seekers podcast. Today's episode, probably the next couple episodes, I'm going to do some Q and A. And the way we actually did this Q and A was kind of fun. Alison Prince and I did an event last week called the E-comm versus expert smack down. We had some hot seats and some hot seats were very specific to whatever topic we were talking about. But some of them were things were, I think would just help everybody. And so I'm grabbing some of these clips of our responses to hopefully help you guys. So the very first one actually was a question asked by Ben Moote, and he's someone who used to work for ClickFunnels way back in the day, and then has gone on to go out there and he creates products and services and he's published his stuff and he's been at all the events and he's doing the work. And he asked a question about imposter syndrome. And I know this is one that I think everybody struggles with at least in some point in your career. And so I thought it was powerful and I thought it'd be useful for all of you guys to hear as well. So we're going to cue the theme song. We come back, you're actually going to hear Brent Coppieters on our side ask the question and then Alison and I will respond to it. And hopefully from that, you get a nugget or two that's going to help you out in your journey along the way. Thanks so much. And with that said, let's cue up the Marking Secrets theme song. Who's up next? Brent Coppieters: Okay. This is from our friend, Ben. So this goes to, again, the mindset that you guys have just touched base on. And I appreciate Ben just being really open and honest about this question. So I'll give you a little bit of context here, and then I'll ask the question. He says my belief that things are scarce and that I don't deserve it are so strong that I am actively losing so much money, so much opportunity to give and serve, close friendships and more. It's wrong, but it'd break me to break that belief. So it's this belief he's got. So the question is what has been the most successful path that you've chosen to kick that negative inner voice in the mouth and move forward? Russell: Imposter syndrome, right? This is something that people hear all the time. Like, I feel like I have imposter syndrome. I don't feel worthy. I don't feel ready. I don't, those things that happened in all of our heads. And I got to be completely honest with you. Yesterday, I couldn't sleep night before this whole event started. Why? I was freaked out. I was scared to death. It doesn't matter what level you're at, you're always nervous. You never feel ready. You never feel worthy. You never feel... Like every funnel event, backstage, I'm like, oh my gosh, why are people here? I'm a little kid. I don't even know what I'm talking about. What if they see through me and they don't think I don't know what I'm talking about. And it's just all these things keep happening. And I have to come back to like, look, it's not about me. I think that's the problem is that we try to put it all on our shoulders. And when you realize it's not about you, it's like, I'm here to serve those people. That's when it starts shifting for you. And for me when I'm backstage, when I was here yesterday before I came out, I had to consciously get in this thought and I do it through prayer. I do it through thinking, through whatever it is. But I'm thinking, okay, I'm nervous. I'm anxious. But this is about me, and this is not about me. This is about these people who have been called to serve. And if I don't step in and don't serve those people, that's not what I want either. And so it's trying to get out and it's, I understand. Because it's hard and it comes back every single time. It's not like, oh, I kicked that 10 years ago and it's done. No, every single time. Every time people, like FHL before I go out, every presentation I get nervous. You still get nervous? I'm like every time, because I put it on me. What if I mess up? What if they don't like me? What if I talk too fast? What if I slur... And I'm like, okay, okay. I'm like, it's not about me, not about me. And I start saying prayers for myself. I pray. And I'm like, please help me to be able to serve these people. Please, when I'm talking or I'm saying something, let the right things show up so that I can deliver it. Because it's about their experience, not mine. And so for me, that's the biggest thing. Because it doesn't go away. At least it hasn't for me yet. I'm hoping someday it does. That'd be amazing. But it's shifting from me to them. And when you start shifting that, it takes the pressure off your shoulders because you're realizing it's not about you. And if it was about me, I'm not talented enough to actually do what I do. Suzanne isl fully aware, I am not that talented. I'm not that gifted. I'm not a good speaker. I slur, I talk too fast. Like even my wife last night, she's like, I jumped in for a little while. She's like, you were talking so fast. Can people understand you? I'm like, oh crap. I don't even know. I hope they can. I'm not that good. But I've just learned so much like, I've been called to show these people. I'm probably going to mess up, half are going to hate me by the end. Some are going to be confused. But there's a group of people who they're going to hear my voice. That's the goal. And so like that shift is what gets me out of that. And so I think hopefully partially to help give people comfort, it's like, we all feel, I still feel it, heavy. And the bigger the thing is, the heavier it is. Number two is like some personal validation for you. I told Stephen Larsen, this is the first product I've ever bought from Stephen Larson ever was the product you and him did together. So you're creating good stuff. You're making good offers. You're doing good. So hopefully that's validation for you as well. It's like, oh my gosh, I got Russell to go run and find his credit card on New Year's Eve at two in the freaking morning. And then the order failed and he kept trying, kept trying, because he wanted the thing. He didn't want to miss out on it. So, you made a really good offer. I was up at two in the morning buying your guys stuff. And so, hopefully that's some personal validation for you as well. Alison Prince: One thing, I remember the first time Russell asked me to speak on stage. Guys, I did e-commerce for a reason, so I could hide behind my computer screen. And so Russell asked me to speak and I just remember all this fear that I had inside of me and what Russell goes through. I've seen it behind, I see him dancing. We were doing pushups yesterday to get the antsiness out. It's a real thing and it doesn't go away. But one thing that I've done is I picture that fear holding me down. And so I'm like, if I can figure out how to get rid of that fear, offload that fear, then I can step into who God needs me to be. And so you'll notice when I come on stage for the first time, I'll hug Russell and he doesn't, you don't know that I do this, but in my mind I'm like, okay Russell, you're holding my fear for me because it's too heavy for me. Russell: Oh my gosh. Alison: And he walks off the stage and then I feel lighter. And so it's a visual thing for me. And then even at Funnel Hacking Live, my 12 year old was on, because I want them around this community. He was there, comes to me, he said, "Mom, I got your fear. I'm going to hold your fear for you." And it was recorded and it was so sweet. And so that's kind of become a thing for us of when our kids do something hard or when I'm about to go on stage or present on an online thing and they can see the nerves, they'll come to me and they'll say, "Mom, let me hold your fear. Go step into who God needs you to be right now. It's not about you. It's about everybody else." And I think that has helped me tremendously, that visualization. So thank you so much. And I'll hold your fear. Russell: Now I know. I'll be offstage like, just kidding. Brent: That's cool. And I wonder too, Alison, maybe you could just talk for a minute about momentum coaches a little bit here and what they do and how they help. Alison: Yes. I can't tell you how much momentum coaches have helped me personally. And it was such a big thing for me. That's why I was like, Russell, we have to have these for our people. The coaches have been trained to understand these feelings. And just like Camille was talking about earlier, some of the stuff that she's going through and the pressures that she's feeling, she hops on a call with a momentum coach, you have two a month and you get to talk to them. It's not in a big group. You can talk about how you're feeling. We've actually had people come on and say the momentum coach was actually worth the entire cost of the program because it helped them with that, like this limiting belief that you have, it is holding you back, this momentum coach is the one that can actually hold that fear for you. And help talk you through that so that you can step into who God needs you to be. Like you needed to be there for Russell. You needed to be there for him. And the momentum coaches are there to help you through that process, to help you understand why you're feeling the way that you feel and break that down for you. No, they're not psychologists or any of that stuff. They're life coaches, but they're trained in the business world. They're trained in the entrepreneurial world. They understand the higher the level, what do they say? The higher the level, the higher the devil, right? They understand that process. And they're there for us. I know I won't go through the program, my business, without them. Russell doesn't do it. And so that's why we wanted to provide it for you. So hop on a call with that momentum coach and they'll talk you through it. And like Russell said, it doesn't go away. That's why these momentum coaches don't go away. They show up with you time and time and time again to help people deal with this. Russell: To help people understand too, the personal, like when my business had grown up really, sort of started really big and the whole thing collapsed. And I was like, mentally, it's like, oh my gosh, I'm a failure. I messed up, all these kind of things. And it was the first time I hired a coach and it was coach Mandy. And I hired her. My friends was like, I have a friend who's a coach, do you want to hire her? I'm like, duh, but I don't do that thing. Like I'm not a... But I hired her as a coach and it was like, man, so much work to get my brain and my mind to a spot where I could continue to move forward and have success. And so when I launched Inner Circle, one of the big selling points, I was like, everyone's coming to Inner Circle at this time to learn marketing. But I'm like, most people are great at marketing. They understand it, but there's something here that's keeping them from the next level and the next, next level, next level. And so I hired coach Mandy full-time and she works with all the Inner Circle members. That's who your coach was when you came in. The same thing, like 90% of the work was working with coach Mandy to get people out of here. And I'm like, oh, and then by the way, do this on your funnel. It's like, boom. They explode. And it's like, oh, I was in my own way this whole time. And so when we launched this Funnel Hacking Live, that's when Alison brought in this amazing team of people who are our coaches who are doing that now for you. Because it's, like I said, I think a lot of times you guys are coming for marketing or for funnel, but like that stuff's in the books, like read the book. It's usually you getting belief in the process, in yourself and the next thing, actually doing that is the key to each level of growth. Brent: Thank you, Ben. Alison: We understood that. Brent: Thank you, Ben. Appreciate that, buddy. So glad you're here with us. Russell: He's so sweet. Brent: Yeah, he's awesome. Alison: And that's another, sorry, that's another thing. I feel so blessed to be able to work with people in the 2ccx program, be able to hear their stories and to watch them go through this transformation. I just, I feel very blessed, honestly, to be able to work with those that are willing to take that risk to change the world. Russell: It's awesome. Brent: You know, I think Russell, and I appreciate that Alison, I shared with you other day someone who posted on our Facebook group about how they jumped on a hot seat with you a few weeks ago. They told their team, we're upping our prices. Russell says we up our prices. They went on vacation for two weeks, came back. And I think what, they added like another $22,000 a month, I think, to their business just by raising their prices from your suggestion. Russell: One suggestion, they covered the cost of the program every month for the rest of their lives. And it'll keep going from there. Because that was the beginning. So cool. Brent: So good. Thank you. All right. We've got time for just one or two maybe questions left. Alison: No, can we do this all day? Brent: Might as well. Russell: Would they want that? Brent: Are you guys enjoying this so far, by the way? Is this fun to see? Alison: Oh my gosh, everybody exploded. Russell: And I'm hoping like, obviously we're talking to certain people, but my guess, maybe I'm crazy. My guess is there's more than one person who feels like Ben does. There's more than one person who felt like, so my guess is, my hope is that all of you guys are gaining something personally for yourself. Like, oh my gosh, like that's how I felt. I remember the first time I went to a Tony Robbins event and Tony does all these interventions with people. And part of me is like, I want an intervention, but I'm like part of me is scared to death. I don't want him to look into my soul and do his Tony thing. But as he's doing it with all these other people, I was like, oh my gosh, he's speaking to me, he's speaking to me. And all these things were like the aha's I actually needed. I was like, oh, thank heavens I don't have to be in the hot seat, but I still get the value of it. And so hopefully you guys are getting that as well. Alison: And another thing, this is I actually what we do in the 2ccx program is we do these hot seats. And they're usually a little bit smaller groups and we can really dive in to help your business. So this is just kind of like a sampling, but we do it consistently over and over and over again. And people have multiple hot seats to help them too, because you have different sticking points throughout your business. It's not just the one dial tone that you need to get that clarity. You're going to need help in a month. That's just what business is. Because we can't stop. We have the goal post here, and then the next one and the next one. When you put out the Two Comma Club award, I'm like, I got to get that thing with the expert side. And then next year you're like, we're doing the- Russell: Two Comma Club X. Alison: Two Comma Club X. And I'm like, I got to get that one. You've got the 25 and then you had the give the million dollars away and we just keep moving our goal post. And to be able to get to those goal posts, you're going to run into new challenges. And that's why this program is like month after month after month. Russell: Yeah. So fun.

We are all fundamentalists whether we acknowledge it or not. We were born into a world of myth and metaphor and have come to internalize the stories we were told as children as the literal interpretations of much greater and deeply symbolic lessons. When we fall into such patterns, according to author and psychotherapist Stephen Larsen, we lose all flexibility and freedom of thought. We become split by dualistic thinking--bad versus good; black versus white--and are weighted down by definitive, concretistic principles and behaviors that alienate us from one another. Dr. Larsen explains that we can avoid such pitfalls by identifying our "inner fundamentalist" and becoming more open-minded individuals. We are all fundamentalists whether we acknowledge it or not. Overcome Emotional Eating

"Obstacle is the way"I heard this quote from Stephen Larsen on a podcast a while ago and he was talking about business. Then I realised that obstacles are the way to succeed not only for entrepreneurs and businesses, but for anyone who has a goal to achieve.I want to use this powerful quote to talk about weight loss goals. For you to succeed in weight loss you need to overcome obstacles. But what we start the process with the thought: "I want this to be super easy."Do you know why most people aren't successful in losing weight?Because it's hard. They start facing the obstacles and then they just give up.That happens because we believe that losing weight should be easy. And we shouldn't feel any negative emotion during the process, that's when emotional eating comes up strong. We start overeating to numb the "horrible" feelings that obstacles bring to us.I'm glad it's not easy, because you have to overcome the hard things to become the person who can lose weight and keep it off forever. You're either going to go through it to the other side and lose the weight or you go back to the cave and hide from the obstacles. If it was easy, everyone would do it.It is supposed to be hard. but not impossible. It's ok to have obstacles, just keep moving forward.Let me tell you where most of the obstacles come from. Are you ready? They come from your mind. They are thoughts like this:It's too hard.I don't know what to do.I can't control myself around food.I can't say no to people offering me food.I have no will powerI have no self-disciplineThere's something wrong with me.I don't want to feel deprived.Etc... These are only few examples of thoughts that you will have to overcome in order to achieve your weight loss goal. That's the good news. If 90% of the obstacles we will face are in our own mind, we can learn how to manage our mind and overcome them.Obstacles are the way to succeed. They are not optional. So, you get to choose here.1) Keep trying to lose weight and giving up every time a obstacles shows up.OR2) Learn how to manage your mind, so you can overcome all the obstacles and achieve your goal. What's going to be? Transactional management versus transformational leadership is a topic that I speak about often. I shared this yesterday with the attendees at Stephen Larsen's event. Each time I share this information, I have new awareness is an understanding of just how critical these concepts are. When I was speaking yesterday, I became acutely aware of just how fast and how damaging transactional management is. There's this recurring story I hear from entrepreneurs about the people they've hired… It goes something like this: "I hired this person and they were amazing for the first few months and then things started going bad. I think I need to replace them." More often than not, the problem is how the person is being managed, not the person themselves. Resources Mentioned: https://charfen.com/transformational

The exciting conclusion of the presentation I gave at Stephen Larsen’s OfferMind event. On this episode you will hear the exciting conclusion to Russell’s presentation from OfferMind about level 10 Opportunities. Here are some of the things to listen for in today’s episode: Find out how level 10 opportunities came onto Russell’s radar. Hear how Russell met Todd and see what they thought their level opportunity was going to be originally. And see how they managed to build Clickfunnels, after Russell had been trying to develop something similar for 10 years prior. So listen here to find out how you can be on the lookout for your own level 10 opportunity.  ---Transcript--- Hey everybody, this is Russell Brunson. Welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. I hope you guys enjoyed last episode on finding your level 10 opportunity. So this is going to be the exciting conclusion of that presentation that I gave at Stephen Larsen’s OfferMind. And it’s not the whole presentation, it’s the intro. I talked about 30 minutes about finding your level 10 opportunity. And I think it’s a mindset thing because so many people need to get, you know, they hear me talk a lot of times about One Funnel Away, you’re one funnel away. And they’re waiting for this funnel that’s going to change everything. No, no, no, no, you have to multiple funnels. Your first funnel, your second, your third, you keep doing these funnels until you find your thing. And that’s what I wanted to share with you guys. So that’s kind of the context, and with that said I hope you guys enjoy the conclusion of this presentation about how to find your level 10 opportunity. I want to fast forward to 8 or 9 years ago, 7 or 8, I don’t know. I’m so bad at years. Some people are like, “In 1996” I can never remember. I was in Kenya, that’s all I remember. So I was in Kenya, and it was my wife and I had a whole bunch of marketing nerds, and most of them had wives too, and this was back before there were too many female entrepreneurs, I don’t think we had any female entrepreneurs on that trip. And the last time we went to Kenya we had like half of them that were female entrepreneurs, which is a huge testament to the females. I love it. It makes me happy every single time I see that. But back then we were all hanging out and I remember because we did this long ride inside of this little jeep, and it was my wife and I and then 2 or 3 other couples, and all the dudes were talking business and all the wives were annoyed. So we got to this stop where we had lunch and then all the wives were like, “Do you guys mind if we go in this jeep over here, and you guys go in this jeep because we don’t want to hear you talk anymore.” We’re like, “But it’s like a 4 hour drive.” They’re like, “Exactly. We do not want to go for 4 more hours with you guys.” We’re like, “Oh, I guess.” So we jump in another jeep, and I’m sitting next to this guy named Bill Harrison, anyone here know Bill? A couple of you guys. Okay. Bill is probably one of the smartest marketing dudes I’ve ever met. So for context, he’s married now, but when I first met him, he was probably, I don’t know, 50, never been married. I might have got that wrong. But he was obsessed with marketing, and his house, I saw pictures of it. You go in his house, imagine a bachelor pad, but he’s rich, so it’s a big bachelor pad, and every room from floor to ceiling is marketing and sales books. He didn’t have bookshelves anymore because he can’t handle it. Every single room is just piled with books. In fact, he used to send me boxes of books as gifts. He’s like, ‘Hey Brunson, I just sent you a bunch of books.” And I’d show up and there’s like a microwave box with like 500 books in it. And I’m like, “Are these good?” He’s like, ‘Oh, they’re all good. I’m not going to send you crappy books.” I’m like, “This is amazing.” So Bill is one of the smartest dudes I’ve ever met when it comes to marketing and sales, like obsessed. You guys think I’m obsessed, he’s that to the next level. He’s awesome. Anyway, so we’re sitting in this jeep geeking out about all sorts of stuff, having a bunch of fun. And we’re like 2 ½ hours into this bumpy jeep ride talking and he tells me this story that just, man, it rocked everything, my whole world. And I’m probably I don’t know, like 6 pages into funnel building at the time. I’ve done a million different things, launched a bunch of stuff, had some successes, had a lot of losses, but as a whole we were doing really well. And we’re sitting there in this jeep and we’re talking and he says, “Man, it’s so interesting.” He’s like, “I feel like I’m one of the best marketers in the world. Russell, I feel like you are too. We’re some of the best, most passionate people who geek out about this the most, but do you know what the biggest problem is?” I’m like, ‘What?” because I would love to know. I’m doing well, but I would love to do more. And he’s like, “We have the wrong opportunity.” I’m like, “What do you mean?” He’s like, and he goes on, “I have this friend, who he is not a good marketing dude at all. He’s maybe like a level 2 skill set of being a marketer. But he got into this opportunity with this big company and he was able to apply his level 2 skill set into a level 10 opportunity. They just took their company public for over a billion dollars, he cashed out and made insane amounts of money, because he had a level 10 opportunity.” And he’s like, “If I look at this, as I see in this jeep, I feel like I’ve got a level 10 skill set, and my company, while it does really, really good, I feel like it’s like a level 3 or maybe a level 4 opportunity, with a level 10 skill set. So because of that I’m only able to get to a certain level. The same thing is true for you dude. You’re at a level 10 skill set, but you’re looking at level 2 maybe level 3 opportunity, that’s why you’re stuck at this thing.’ I was like, oh my gosh. I’d never thought about that. And I was a little frustrated and I was like, well crap, what’s my level 10 opportunity. I don’t even know what that is, or what it could be. I felt like all the stuff I was doing was good. And if you look at the, you know, I look at all the people through my lens and I’m doing better than all the people around me, like my friends, my family, stuff like that, I’m making more money. But man, what is actually possible? And I didn’t know. I remember coming home from that trip and just thinking, well, what’s my level 10 opportunity. I didn’t know, but I didn’t stop everything like “Well, I’m just going to wait until it comes here.” I was just like, okay, now I know that I’m looking for a level 10 opportunity. And I want to make sure that as I, when I find it that I’m ready and prepared for it. If they would have handed me Clickfunnels 8 years ago and like, ‘Here, run this thing.” guess what would have happened? I would have crashed it to the ground and burnt it and it would have been a really bad, painful, public humiliation in front of everybody. I wasn’t ready for it. But now I knew that I have my eye set, I’m going for a level 10 opportunity, but until that happens I’m going to move forward. I’m going to do the next one and the next one. I’m going to try this one and this one and this one and this one. And hopefully in that journey I’m going to have faith as I’m running as fast as I can, I’m looking for opportunities, I’m trying to find stuff and figure things out. And the right people are going to come into my life. I’m going to be introduced to people, I’m going to find opportunities, and maybe this one’s not the big success, but I’m going to open the door for the next one and the next one, and maybe I meet someone through the deal. I don’t know what that’s going to be, but I’m going to run with faith as fast as I can and just do funnel after funnel, after funnel. But I’m going to have my eyes open, looking for what is that level 10 opportunity. So that’s how it started. So from that point forward I started looking. And as I started looking, these weird opportunities started coming into my path. And some of them weren’t really pleasant. One of them I built a huge company up and the whole thing burnt and crashed to the ground. And that was really painful. Firing 80 people overnight is not fun. And I’m not going to get deep into the pain of that story, but it was bad. And I thought like, man, this whole thing I don’t even have a level 0 opportunity now. I got nothing. But I kept moving forward, and as I was moving forward I was trying thing after thing, after thing, and I remember in this process of trying a bunch of stuff, I remember buying this website because I was like, “This has got to be a level 10 opportunity.” So I bought this site, it was called championsound.com. Anyone here ever heard of Champion Sound? No, because it never, one person. Because it’s one of the ones on the list. It didn’t do anything though. I bought it off flippa.com, I tried to launch it, it didn’t work, we had some people sign up and started buying it. The software crashed, it was like an email and text message auto-responder for bands. I was like, “Gall, I thought this was going to be a level 10 opportunity.” Maybe like, I’m doing this thing. And in the pain of this thing not working I was trying to find a developer to help me fix this software. I went to, what was it back then Upwork, or Odesk, I can’t remember what. I was trying to find someone to hire to fix the site, and I was trying thing after thing and I couldn’t find anybody to fix it. And finally I was just frustrated like, “Alright, this isn’t going to work.” So I sent an email to the host and said basically, “Shut down the site, it’s not going to work. I don’t want to support the people, it doesn’t work, I can’t fix it.” And then I was walking out the door to leave, and as I was walking out the door I had this thought. And the thought I heard for a second it said, “There’s probably someone on your list who could fix this for you.” I’m like, my list? My list isn’t that big. There’s not people who are developers. It’s just like, but I’m like, alright. I try to listen when I hear voices like that. I’m like, alright. So I walked back into the office, I turned my computer back on, I send an email out and it just says, “If you know Ruby on Rails, I’m looking for a partner.” And I just kind of told them the story, “I got a site, it’s not working, it’s broken. I’m going to throw it away, but if you know Ruby on Rails, and want to be partner, email me back.” I sent it out there and an hour later I get an email from this dude in Atlanta who looks like he’s younger than me, which is kind of funny, except he’s got a beard. And I click on it and read this thing, he’s like, “I’m a Ruby on Rails developer, and I’d love to look at it.” So I send the login, he logs in, I go to bed and wake up in the morning and it’s like, “all the issues are fixed. Here you go.” And that was Todd Dickerson, who came into my world. And what’s crazy, Todd, it’s fascinating because Todd came into my world at the bottom of everything, broke, broke. Out of money, nothing left. And he came in and he came in a weird spot and he’s like, “I want to come work with you.” And I’m like, ‘I can’t pay you.” And he’s like, “That’s cool. I’ll just work for free.” And he worked for free for over a year. Coming in because he was just like, same thing, looking for an opportunity, looking for an opportunity. So we’re like a year into this relationship, friendship, working on different projects. And we went to a Traffic and Conversion event together and I could tell, I remember how broke we were because we shared a room. This is probably 7 years ago now, so we’re sharing a room and that night we’re walking around hanging out and I see Bill Harrison and we bump into each other again, and we start talking. And somehow in this conversation the whole level 10 opportunity thing came up again, which was kind of random because it was just like a freak thing. We talked for like 15 minutes and we left, and it reminded me of this thing in Kenya that happened a couple of years earlier. I was like, oh my gosh, I forgot about that. So that night I told Todd, I was like, “Look, this is the deal.” I told him the idea that I just told you guys about a level 10 opportunity. And Todd’s like, ‘Dude, what’s our level 10 opportunity?” I’m like, “I don’t know. Do you know?” He’s like, “No.” I’m like, “Crap, we gotta figure this thing out.” And then we’re like, “Oh my gosh, I know exactly what it is. It’s this thing and it’s going to be called, WPUndies.” And we got the word press logo and we got someone to design it with underwear, tighty-whitey’s on it and we were freaking out excited. And Todd started coding this thing, and it’s one of the things on this list down here, I’m not sure which page it is. But we’re like, ‘Dude, this is the big idea. It’s going to be this thing that you put on your word press site like underwear that helps protect it. And a third of all the websites in the world are on word press. It’s going to be insanely big.” So we’re so freaking out on our level 10 opportunity we start working, we start building this thing, and we’re doing it. And as we’re building it we find out that word press sucks because you plug in a thing, and then you have like 8000 different hosts, and somebody shifts the hosting over here and over here. And after we got the thing out there, we’re trying to support like 5 customers, we’re like, “Oh my gosh, this is the worst business we ever were in. This is not a level 10 opportunity.” We start freaking out and we’re not sure what to do and Todd’s flying back to Boise to plan, “Okay, what’s the next thing we’re going to do?” And on the flight over, Todd lives in Atlanta, he’s in the airport at like, I don’t know, I was still asleep here in Boise. It was the same day, some of you guys have heard this story before, it was the same day that leadpages got $5 million dollars in funding. So Todd’s jumping on a plane, reads this article and then he forwards it to me. And he jumps in the air, he’s in the air for 4 hours flying to Boise. And he’s flying, he’s just livid because Todd is the most genius developer in the world, and he knows that leadpages sucks. And he’s like, ‘I could build this today.” So I wake up in the morning and I read the article, I’m like, ‘Leadpages? That software sucks, we could build this today.” He shows up into the office, he walks in little Todd is all angry. I’m like, ‘What?” He’s like, “Leadpages got $5 million. What are they doing that we’re not doing?” I’m like, ‘I don’t know.” He’s like, “I could build Leadpages today. Do you want to build it.” I’m like, “Yes, we’re gonna build leadpages, we’re going to take them out.” We’re all excited. “This is our level 10 opportunity. We’ll get $5 million in funding too, it’s going to be awesome.” So we’re so excited, and then Todd asks this question, “Well, if we’re gonna set it up from the ground up, do you want to make it better than leadpages?” I’m like, “Heck yeah.” And he’s like, “What do you want?” and I’m like, “Oh my gosh, are you serious? Let me show you.” And I started showing him like all of these, “I want to be able to do this by myself without you guys because you guys are way too… I want to be able to do this. I can’t do Photoshop and Front page and all these people to do this.” And that started this journey onto Clickfunnels. Let me show you guys real quick, if you pull my slides up, level 10 opportunity, and this is kind of a side story, before somewhere in this journey, actually before I met Todd, it wasn’t like Clickfunnels was a unique idea. I wasn’t the first person to think like, “We should build software that makes it easy to build funnels.” I wasn’t the first person. In fact, this was in 2005, this was the first time I tried to build it and we called it Clickdotcom.com that would have been confusing huh. I would tell people that, “So Click.com?” “No, clickdotcom.com” they’re like, “Wait? What?” I’m like, “No, it’s…” Anyway, so this was the first time I was like, ‘If we build this, it’ll be huge.” So that was here in Boise, I ended up hiring 6 developers. I was selling all this crap and I was trying to take all the money to build this. I thought this was going to be huge. 2005, so this was like almost 10 years earlier we had tried this. And this was all different pages, if you look at it it’s kind of funny because I think we called it, it was before sales funnels, I think we called them sales processes and sales flows before we ever called them funnels. But we had built the whole software, we designed it and tried to build it. It’s funny because I talk about how if I would have got Clickfunnels 10 years ago, I wouldn’t have been able to do it. And its what happened. We tried it 10 years before I had Todd. I didn’t have the right people. And it crashed and burned. Again, we spent probably 2 or 3 years trying to build this, ran out of money during that whole crash, we gave up on it. That’s why when I did meet Todd and I asked him, can we build it? Part of me was like, “I’ve tried it before. I know other people who have tried it. I had a lot of other business partners, not business partners but friends who sat down like, and tried it as well. It just didn’t work. It was a good idea that just wasn’t simple to do. But we met Todd and then Dylan and made it possible. So this was 131 funnels later, this is the night that we started on the Clickfunnels project. It’s the only picture I have from that night. I wish we would have done more. So this is Todd here on the right hand side, some of you guys know Todd. On the left hand side is Dylan, and Dylan is no longer part of Clickfunnels, but he was one of the original cofounders with us. Dylan’s the one who built the original editor. So if any of you guys like the editor, that’s Dylan’s brainchild. He had spent 6 or 7 years prior trying to build a website editor for himself, we started building Clickfunnels we partnered together and plugged it all into one super system. But I wanted to share this story with you guys because as soon as we were aware of a level 10 opportunity, our eyes started looking for it, but we didn’t stop. I want, hopefully that gives some, a lot of you guys out here, especially ones who you’ve been doing this for a year or less than that, or a couple of years, who just  haven’t hit it yet, or you’ve had marginal successes. Don‘t stop. The key is not waiting for the big opportunity. “I’m waiting for my Clickfunnels.” It’s do your thing as fast as you can and keep doing it, and doing it, and keep doing it. And as you keep doing it, you’ll get better and you’ll get better, and eventually it will get worthy enough that when a level 10 opportunity shows up you’ll be prepared for it. That’s the key. So don’t get upset like “Oh my funnel didn’t work. This thing didn’t work.” It’s going to be tough, there’s going to be frustrations, things aren’t always going to work the very first time, or the third time, but if you keep doing it and keep doing it, for me it was 131 times before I hit my big thing. And I’m hoping for you guys, you get it a lot faster than that. But even if you don’t, it’s worth it. I’m now, man, 16 years in this business, and it’s funny because I get people all the time they’re like, “You guys just came out of nowhere.” And it’s like, yeah. 16 years, that’s a long time I’ve been focusing on this. But it’s something I’m obsessed with and just kept doing it, and kept doing it and kept doing it. And when you keep doing your thing, the opportunities appear, they show up, and if you’ve done the work you’ll be prepared and ready for them.

How to find and earn your level 10 opportunity. This is the first half of a presentation I gave at Stephen Larsen’s OfferMind event. On today’s episode Russell shares a presentation from OfferMind about how he founded Clickfunnels and the journey it took to get there. Here are some of the amazing thing you will hear in part 1 of the presentation: Hear a funny story about potato guns being shipped to a hotel where an event was held, after the event was already over. Find out why even though family and friends were less than enthusiastic about all Russell’s new ideas, he kept talking about them. See why it took Russell more than 130 funnels before he created Clickfunnels. So listen here to part 1 of Russell’s Level 10 Opportunity presentation from OfferMind. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? It’s Russell Brunson. Welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. Right now I am actually in the middle of our Two Comma Club Live event. I’m having so much fun. We’ve got 5000 people registered, had about 3500 people on live for the last day and a half straight. I’m on lunch break and I realized I didn’t have my podcast recorded for this week, so I was kind of scrambling, what would be the best thing I could give you guys? And I remember there’s a presentation I did at Stephen Larsen’s OfferMind, and it’s not the whole presentation. But the very beginning I kind of went on a rant, but I kind of went off because earlier that day I heard a bunch of people talking about, “Looking for my Clickfunnels, my big opportunity, my….” whatever it is, you know.  And I kind of wanted to just talk about that. How do you find your level 10 opportunity? How do you find the big opportunity that’s for you, that was created for you? Because a lot of times people are waiting for that to hit them, and it’s like, no, no, no you have to understand that you have to be in momentum and moving forward for those things to come to you. And I kind of shared my journey about how I came into Clickfunnels and how it became a thing. So I’m going to share that presentation, it’s about 30 minutes long, so we’re going to break it over two episodes. So this is episode number one of two about how to find your level 10 opportunity. I’m so happy to have you guys here in Boise with us. Has the last day and a half been amazing so far? Very cool. I just want to take a moment and just acknowledge Stephen Larsen, or Steve Larsen, whatever he goes by today. He was always “Stephen” in the office, just so you know, because the way he spelled it always changed. But it’s crazy to look back and a couple Funnel Hacking Lives ago he bootstrapped  his way, I’m sure you guys have heard this story, to get there. He slept in the lobby. Two days after that was in my office asking for a job. And then fast forward now a couple of years, was able to bring 650 people to Boise, Idaho on a week beginning, during a holiday, talking about offers for crying out loud. This is insane that you guys are all here. So let’s give him a huge round of applause. I wouldn’t have believed it. So cool. I got so many fun things to talk about today. I don’t have a normal presentation. Normally I have a million slides and everything like that. Today I want to do more storytime and I want to tell you guys some  stories, have some fun, show you some cool stuff from the book that’s coming out, and a couple other cool things. So that’s kind of the game plan. But Katherine Jones just messaged me a few minutes ago, I’m not sure where you’re at in here, right here, hey! And she’s like, “If I came all the way to Boise, Idaho and you don’t tell at least one potato gun story, I’m going to be severely upset.” So I didn’t have a potato story planned, but then I just thought of one a second ago. So how many of you guys want a potato gun story real quick? Anyone want to go shoot potato guns after this? That’s the upsell, we’re doing that tomorrow for anyone….just kidding. No, it’s funny. We did a family event like a month ago in Denver. Who was at the family event with us? And we were trying to get all these potato gun kits shipped there to be able to show the kids and actually do that, and it’s funny because I haven’t sold my potato gun DVD for a decade now, and we used to have this supplier that would drop ship potato gun kits afterwards. So like a week before the event I was like, “We should see if they still drop ship potato gun kits, we’ll get them shipped to the event and it will be amazing.” and this whole thing. So I’m getting Melanie to try and call them, they have no answer, they won’t return our emails, but they still have an order button on their site. So we bought them at wholesale prices, had them shipped directly to the hotel in Denver. And Melanie told me, and Melanie told me yesterday, “I just got the shipping notice. They finally shipped them.” So there’s a whole bunch of potato gun kits getting shipped to Denver right now. So if any of you guys are there, you can just pick them up. So that’s the potato gun story I’ve got for you guys today. Maybe at Funnel Hacking Live we’ll do some more potato gun building or something. A whole extra late night session. Anyway, there you go. When Stephen first asked me to speak here, the first thing he did was he tried to make an irresistible offer. Did you guys hear about this already? So he went through the whole process, and then we talked and I’m like, ‘What should I talk about?” and we kind of had a whole direction I wanted to go. So I kind of started initially building my thoughts around that, but if anyone’s been watching my instagram, the last month of my life I’ve been deep trying to get this Traffic Secrets book done, and it’s been a lot. And it’s top of mind on a whole bunch of, it’s just there. So I’m going to kind of do both. I’m going to talk about the stuff I was going to talk about, but also go into Traffic Secrets because there’s parts I’ve never taught before that I just want to share. Again, I’ve never taught them publically, so they might come out really bad, it could be a complete flop, but I’m not getting paid, so it’s cool. I’m just kidding. Anyway, so I’m going to start at the very beginning. Initially when he first asked me to speak I really wanted to talk about, because I think it’s applicable to everyone in your journey. And I’m curious right now, how many of you guys have been in this entrepreneur game, trying to make money on the internet, this whole world for more than 5 years? Okay, how many of you guys have been less than 5 years? Less than 4 years? Less than 3? 2? Less than 1 year? How many of you guys found out about this a couple of days ago, you’re pumped? This is awesome. Can you imagine this being your first introduction? I think sometimes we come into these rooms, I know when I first got in there, man, it’s 15, 16 years now when I first learned about this world and I came into it. And I remember going and hearing all these people talking about stuff, and they’re sharing numbers and stats and I think I had this envisioned in my head that I was going to come in and like 5 days later I was going to be a kajillionaire and that was going to be how it worked, because all these other people were doing it. And I think a lot of people have that believe as well. Sometimes they come in and start working and doing the process, and if they don’t get it right away, they fall away from it, which is frustrating and it’s hard. So I wanted to kind of just talk about my journey for a little bit because every time I meet somebody, I always get people who are like, “I’ve known you ever since the beginning.” And I’m like, ‘Oh yeah, when was that?” and they’re like, “Back when you did the Dotcom Secrets book. Ever since the very beginning.” And I’m like, “There’s 10 years that I was doing this before the Dotcom Secrets book came out.” Or “All the way back to Microcontinuity.” Who here remembers microcontinuity? I was like, “I was 6 years in when that came out.” I’ve been doing this for a long, long, long, long time. There’s been a whole bunch of ups and downs. And one of the quotes that is in the new Traffic Secrets book, this is actually the Dotcom Secrets book. We just taped the cover to it. Anyway, oh we totally did. I had someone grab it and they’re like, “I took pictures of it inside.” And I was like, “Yeah, it’s literally Expert Secrets so…” anyway, but in the Traffic Secrets book, as I was writing it and researching and trying to figure out the right stuff, there was a quote and actually from an entrepreneur that lives here in Boise. Anyone here ever heard of ConvertKit? So Nathan Barry is the founder of ConvertKit, he’s a local Boisean as well, a really cool guy. Someone I have a ton of respect for. And I was writing the chapter on publishing and I’m not going to talk a lot about publishing today, but he had this quote that I ended up putting in the book that just meant the world to me. And I wanted to kind of start this way, as I start this presentation because I want this to be the thing that’s in your guys’ mind as we’re going through this journey together. So it’s part of an email he wrote, and the subject line was “Endure long enough to get noticed.” And he said, “How many great TV shows have you discovered in season 3 or later? I started watching Game of Thrones after they had released 5 seasons. Pat Flynn had released over 100 episodes of his podcast before I even knew it existed. I discovered Hard Core History years after Dan Carlin had started producing it. This is such a common experience. There’s so much content being produced that we can’t possible discover it all. So instead we wait for the best content to float to the surface after time. “Step one in building an audience is to create great content. And step two is to endure long enough to get noticed. Seth Godin is very generous with his time, and will appear on almost any relevant podcast, but you have to have recorded at least 100 episodes first. His filter is creators who have showed they’re willing to show up consistently for a long time.” So when I read that I was just like, man, it’s crazy. And I was talking to my wife about this the other day because it’s still, this whole thing is insanely weird to us, because this started 15, 16 years ago when we first got married. And I was sitting there and I’m learning about all this nerdy marketing stuff, and funnels, and we didn’t even call them funnels back then. But I was learning about stuff and direct response marketing and reading books about headlines and hooks, and all these things, and I was geeking out and I would try to talk to people about it. I’d talk to my friends, and my family, and my parents, and my brothers, and everyone, trying to explain it to them. And you’re like, for me it’s the most exciting thing in the world. I’d explain it to them, I’d go through and they look at me like, “Oh, that sounds really nice.” How many of you guys have friends or family when you started talking about this kind of stuff, they’re just like, “Oh.” You’re like, “Do you not understand what I’m talking about?” and I freak out, “This guy did this, and this person did this.” I’m telling them story after story after story of all these people, all the people that I saw on other stages telling their story. I’d tell their stories and they’re like, ‘Oh, that’s really nice.” I’m like, “How are you guys not getting this? How are you missing the energy behind this? What am I doing wrong to convey this?” And I would talk about it over and over and over again and nobody seemed to care. But I cared. It was so exciting for me. So after that I started talking louder, and eventually I had a couple of kids, I was still going to Boise State just down the road, and I had a couple of kids in my classes who started listening and they’re like, “That is really, that’s really cool.” And I’d tell them about them and they got excited and I told other people, and so many people never heard me. I was speaking but they never heard me. I kept speaking, and speaking and eventually a couple people started hearing, and then a couple more started hearing. But it was slow. And the first decade of me doing this, the groups were not ever big. In fact, the last event I did before Funnel Hacking Live, which was probably about 10 years ago, so probably about 7 or 8 years in I did an event. And we had I think 300 ish people signed up for it. And I was super excited. We did it down in Salt Lake, we drove me and our tiny team, we drove down there and we showed up and less than a hundred actually showed up after they bought tickets. And I’m in this room, just like, how is this so hard? This is the most exciting thing in the world to me and I can’t get people excited. But I kept talking and kept talking and kept talking because I was passionate about it. Okay, if I would have done this because I thought other people were going to get passionate about it, it would have withered up on the vine a long time ago. But I kept talking and so it’s so fascinating to me today that there’s 650 people in Boise on a week beginning during a holiday talking about offers for crying out loud. This is insane. We’re going to have 5000 people at Funnel Hacking Live, all talking about funnels and about all these crazy things that are so exciting. That people are buying books, when I wrote this first book, man, I can’t tell you how scared I was. How many of you guys have ever written a book before? Anyone ever heard, do you guys know Ryan Holladay? He’s one of my favorite authors right now. He is going to be speaking at Funnel Hacking Live, I’m so excited. So he’s written some amazing books, but my favorite of all his books is a book called Perennial Seller, which is a whole book about how you create content that lasts beyond the moment. He talked about a whole bunch of examples of movies, movies that last forever like Star Wars. It’s just going forever. Then you have other ones that make a ton of money and then they die. And in the book he talks about Star Wars, like names some lines from Star Wars, everyone can list off some lines, because the movie is a Perennial Seller. But he says, the highest grossing movie at the time was Avatar. And he said, “Can anyone think of a single sentence from Avatar?” can any of you guys give me a quote from Avatar? See, I didn’t even know that. We got one person who remembers a line from Avatar. Highest grossing movie, but it died. Friends was the same way. Friends is an amazing show, but when it ended it ended. Seinfeld has lived on. So what seems to work that lasts, and what doesn’t last. And he talks about that, it’s an amazing book called Perennial Seller. And again, he’s going to be talking at Funnel Hacking Live about how to create art that lasts beyond. Its not just for books, but art, movies, courses, whatever your thing is. How do you create stuff that lasts beyond yourself, which is something that I study because I don’t know, I’m in the phase of my life where I’m obsessed with the legacy of this whole thing. How do you do that? One thing he talked about in the book is how interesting it is with creators where when you create something you go into private. Like when I’ve been writing these books or doing whatever, I’m in private in my own house studying, learning, reading, geeking out, but then when you make it public it’s like, it goes for me from this private thing to this public thing, and the fear of rejection is like the scariest thing in the world. So I remember putting this out and being so scared. But I was so passionate, my heart and soul and a decade of my life went into this, and put it out there. And I remember sending it to a couple of my friends and just  having so much anxiety like, “What if they read this and they hate it or they don’t like it? This is so important to me.” We put it out there, and luckily they liked it. In fact, Rich Schefren, how many of you guys know Rich Schefren? He was the one I was most scared to read it. That dude’s read every book on planet earth like 400 times. In fact, there’s a video of him on YouTube that’s worth watching. He shows his book writing process, he buys a book, he rips the binding off of it. Excuse me, first off he reads it all, highlights it. Then he cuts the binding off of it, he scans the whole thing, he sends the scan to one of his Filipino workers and then takes all the highlighted sections and writes them into a PDF. And then he’s done that for like, I don’t know, 7000 books over time, and then every morning he wakes up like, “What am I going to study today?” He’s like, “Copywriting. These are the 30 best copywriting books of all time.” Plugs in his highlights into like an iPad, jumps on the treadmill and he’ll read 30 books in the morning on whatever topic he wants to do that day. The dude’s obsessed, and he has a whole video showing the process. It’s the coolest thing in the world. I remember sending him the book and I’m just like, “If Rich hates it, I am done. I’m walking away from this whole thing.” And I remember afterwards he called me and he’s like, ‘Dude, your book…” I’m like, “Yeah…” he’s like, “It’s really good.’ I’m like, “Oh my gosh, are you serious?” that feeling. So I’m sure a lot of you guys have ever felt that or are going to feel it, it’s scary. Especially if you’re fired up, you’re excited about the next thing, the offer you’re going to create, all this stuff. But as you get in the creation mode and start putting it out there, there’s always going to be that fear of like, “I’m going to give it to the world and what if they reject it?” So that’s just, that’s going to be happening. But I wanted to kind of step back on my journey and I want to talk about all this stuff that I tried. In fact, I printed this out before I showed up here. Who here in this room thinks they made the most funnels. And not like a quick create funnel, and a demo funnel, and you have 8000 in your account. Who here has built more than 10 funnels? Built, launched, live, were pushed out into the world, traffic was sent to them? Who has built more than 20 funnels? More than 30 funnels? 40? 50? 60? 70? Anyone more than 70?  Alright, okay I was able to find 131. Not just funnels that I played with a little bit, that we built, pre-Clickfunnels in Photoshop and Frontpage. That we built, created, launched and went live. Here’s the first couple of links right here, these are the next ones here, the next ones here, next ones here, next ones here. Every one of these is a funnel we’ve created, built, launched. My designers used Photoshop and I used Frontpage, because I could use Frontpage. In fact, I used Frontpage all the way until Clickfunnels launched, for my nerds out there. They’re like, “What about Dreamweaver?” I couldn’t figure out Dreamweaver. I used Frontpage and that’s all I ever did, and then Clickfunnels. But these are them, 131 funnels that I could find and I think there’s more. I’m going to try to eventually get them all and put them all in chronological order. But that’s how many funnels I created over a decade and a half before I created Clickfunnels. I share this with you guys for a reason because so many of you guys are looking at me and saying, “Oh my gosh, Russell created Clickfunnels, now he’s making hundreds of millions of dollars, this is so cool.” It didn’t happen overnight, by any stretch of the imagination. It happened because I kept doing it and kept doing it. I had an idea after idea, after idea, after idea. Most of you guys don’t have your big idea yet. You may think you do, but you don’t. All these ideas, every single one of these things I thought was my big idea. I put my blood, sweat and tears into it. Every single one of these things took months to be able to create, write the copy, do the design, get the thing. It was a labor of love every single time and most of them didn’t even work. I’m like, “how did that not work? It’s the greatest idea I ever had. Potato guns, seriously! It’s going to be huge.” Of all sorts of stuff. Someday it will be fun to do a whole presentation and show you guys the iterations of like, “I had this idea and this is why. And this one and this one.” It would take days though, just to go through them all. But that’s what I had to go through. And on this journey as I’m doing this, I don’t really know where I’m going. All I know is I’m just going. I’m moving. Momentum forward, right. How many of you guys feel like that sometimes? I don’t really know where I’m going, I’m just moving forward right now hoping something good happens. That’s good. I don’t know what it is, there’s something about motion and movement and forward progress, as you do that, God, the universe, whatever you want to call it starts rewarding you 4 things. As I was moving forward I’m like, “This is the greatest idea.” Started doing it, and it’s like, “Ah, it kinda sucks.” But all the sudden, that door opened, I met that person, I found this thing. And I start moving, the next thing. I try this and I try this, and I try this and all these things in this journey started, as I was moving forward, new ideas, new opportunities, new people came into my world that made it possible.

Welcome Back Level Up Nation! Another great episode for you guys. Quick update on the recent developments, I recorded some massive Interviews for you guys with 8 figure entrepreneurs, sharing their amazing stories and most important the mistakes you want to avoid in your entrepreneurial journey. All this is going to be released here within the next couple of weeks right here on our podcast to inspire you to take your life to the next level If you are new to our show and you know you can achieve more in life, I invite you to thrust that subscribe button and don’t miss on any of the upcoming action and fire power we are bringing on board. My mentor taught me that if you want to educate someone it is best to  use the example of other people's stories.  Today I am reading an article By Chris Fong from Smart business Trends. His one funnel away challenge review and success story. I asked Chris to come out for a quick interview here on level up podcast but he mentioned that he is not a podcast person. Chris we love you! The one funnel away challenge from clickfunnels supports you from day 1 to day 30 to help you get your funnel LIVE in just 30 days. Join the next one funnel away challenge for just $100 CLICK HERE I also prepared some very special bonuses for you guys when you take on the challenge so make sure to get and check it out  When you’re new to ClickFunnels, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. The software can be a little intimidating when you first try it out. And once you’re up and running, you still might be unclear about how exactly to use it to help your business. Do you want to sell your own product or service? Perhaps you want to build funnels for other clients? Or how about just promoting ClickFunnels as an affiliate? As you can imagine, there are so many ways you can use ClickFunnels. And for some people, that’s scary. They want some direction. And that’s why you will frequently see people in the ClickFunnels’ Facebook groups asking around what the best training for ClickFunnels is. But now there’s only one right answer to that question. And the answer is the One Funnel Away Challenge I’ve purchased the course three times now, and it’s really changed my business. So in this review I’m going to show you everything you’re going to get as part of the challenge and how it’s going to help you. What is the One Funnel Away Challenge? The One Funnel Away Challenge is a 30 day training that guides you step by step on launching your first (or next) funnel. The course is provided by your three coaches. Russell Brunson, Julie Stoian, and Stephen Larsen. Russell of course, is the co-founder of ClickFunnels and his videos in the challenge are all about teaching you the strategy and the “why” behind that days mission. Julie Stoian, an 8 figure entrepreneur herself, is the 2nd coach. Her videos show the “how” part of the training. So she goes step-by-step in her videos to guide you how to actually implement what Russell talks about in the previous lesson. And finally the 3rd coach is Stephen Larsen. He conducts the live group calls and is basically your accountability coach. If you are familiar with Stephen at all from his podcast, SALES FUNNEL RADIO WITH STEVE,  you’ll know that he’s always full of energy and makes things fun. There are 5 weeks worth of lessons in the challenge. The first week is the pre-training which will get you in the proper mindset for the reset of the challenge. Then over the next 4 weeks you will get daily lessons with links in your inbox. Every training builds upon each other, so it’s very important that you go through them in order. And, there’s even homework to do to make sure you are applying what you learn. What exactly are you going to be learning? Here’s a map of the entire challenge: The One Funnel Away Challenge is hosted inside the FunnelHacker Community. What’s nice about platform is that you get to interact directly with your fellow OFA participants. This provides another source of accountability for you to complete each days missions. Why I signed up for the One Funnel Away Challenge (Three times!) Last October, I spent $100 to get my hands on the 30 Day Challenge hardcover book. The book contains a set of plans from 30 “Two Comma Club” winners, who were presented with the scenario of having lost everything, how would they rebuild their business from scratch. I got my book and it was really interesting and great. I still have it on my desk for reference. As part of the 30 Day Challenge, I also got access to something called the One Funnel Away Challenge. I would get daily emails in my inbox telling me about these “Missions” I had to do, but since I was busy during this time, I didn’t check out any of the content. However, during the last week of the challenge, I finally got a chance to watch the first OFA video titled ‘Offer Hacking’. “Hook, story, offer… “ “Hook, story, offer…” Wow, that was an eye opening first video. It literally hooked me. I thought to myself, even though I’m behind, I’m going to set aside the time and go through this course! There was only one problem. I didn’t know that all the content would be taken offline at the end of the challenge. Oops. What do I do now? Fortunately, I saw that all the videos were actually posted as unlisted videos on Youtube. So I quickly went through and found all the video urls and recorded them in my notes. This allowed me to work through the One Funnel Away Challenge on my own time. And it was totally worth it. I was able to get so much value from the challenge.  Here are a few of the lessons that I directly implemented in my own business: Week 1 Mission 1: Offer Hacking. This was the lesson that sucked me into the training. It was all about doing research on what other successful people were doing on Facebook by looking at their ads. What was cool about this lesson is that it validated this Chrome extension idea I had in my head. And that gave me the push to build my first product, Ad Extractor, which pulls Facebook ads from any Facebook page in just one click. Week 1 Mission 4: The Lost Art of the Visual. I always knew design was important, but as non-designer I’ve always been reluctant to invest in design for my business. This lesson emphasized the importance of creating visuals to make your offers stand out. So that’s what I did. I went to over to Funnel Rolodex and hired someone to create some new design assets for me. I got designs for my entire ClickFunnels bonus stack done, and they look really nice. This was one of the main reasons I feel my ClickFunnels affiliate commissions shot up directly.  And after that I started using Design Pickle so I could get more designs done. Week 2 Mission 2: The Epiphany Bridge. I was already familiar with the framework from reading the Expert Secrets book. But the lesson really hit home that I should really be incorporating these stories into everything I do. So because of this lesson I’ve been practicing following the script and you’ll notice that I’m using a lot more stories into my writing. The One Funnel Away Challenge has been such a boom for my business that I bought it a second time when it relaunched in January. This was mainly to get the cool OFA Challenge Kit And the third time?  I wanted to get access to the amazing Affiliate Bootcamp offer. What’s Else Do You Get With the One Funnel Away Challenge? One of the things that Russell teaches, and what you’ll learn in the challenge is to create a bonus stack for any offer. And the One Funnel Away Challenge is no different. Besides the training itself, you’re going to get a physical package sent to your house in the form of your OFA Challenge Kit.  It was a big thrill when I received it. Here is what you’ll find inside the kit: “30 Days” Hardcover book. This is a 550 page book packed with detailed plans from 30 ‘Two Comma Club’ members on how they would start their business over if they lost everything. The book is amazing, and I’ve learned so much from studying it. eived it in the mail! Spiral bound copy of the One Funnel Away Challenge workbook. You’ll also get a physical workbook that you can use to complement the 30 days of trainings. Inside, you’ll find a checklist of the tasks that you’ll need to complete for each days challenge. There’s also space to brain storm your ideas, and links to the videos for each of the missions. MP3 player. Inside this MP3 player are all the audio recording of both Russell’s daily trainings and recordings of Stephen’s Live coaching calls that he did during the first challenge. What’s nice is it gives you the ability to go through the challenge lessons when you’re at the gym or commuting to work. Everything else you need to know about the One Funnel Away Challenge How much does the One Funnel Away Challenge cost? It will cost you $100 to get the One Funnel Away Challenge. If you want the OFA Challenge Kit, you will have to pay shipping which is $19.95 if you live in the US and $29.95 outside the US. You also now have the option to buy the Digital Only version of the OFA Challenge, which doesn’t come with the kit. Is there any guarantee? Yes, if you send back your challenge kit within 30 days of it arriving, then you will get refunded $100. But since it costs so much to ship, it’s probably not worth it to do this. I don’t have a lot of time to watch videos every day. Should I still join the challenge? If you don’t have an hour or so a day required to watch the challenge videos, then I don’t recommend signing up. It’s very easy to get fall behind, and when that happens you will have a difficult time catching up. Does it have an affiliate program? Yes, it has the One Funnel Away Challenge has a great affiliate program. It’s a super easy way to cover your own cost of the OFA. Why? Because it pays 100% commissions. So you only need to sell one course to someone else to make your money back. Since the One Funnel Away Challenge is pretty much the best ClickFunnels training at the moment, it’s a very easy sell. But I would definitely recommend going through it first, so you fully understand how it works. Here’s how many I’ve personally sold so far: How are the OFA Challenge and the Affiliate Bootcamp offers related? The Affiliate Bootcamp is a really cool new front end offer that was recently introduced.  It’s a free virtual summit where 15 of ClickFunnels’ top affiliates map out step by step how they would promote ClickFunnels if starting from scratch. But the exciting opportunity with promoting it is that it upsells the One Funnel Away Challenge.  Not only will people get access to the OFA, but they will get lifetime access to the Affiliate Bootcamp Blueprints as well.   This is a very compelling offer that really converts well. Do I need to have an existing product to sell to join the challenge? While the challenge is well suited for people wanting to sell their own products and services, you don’t necessarily need to have one of your own. That’s because the lessons apply to selling affiliate products as well. So you could use the training to help you sell ClickFunnels or any other affiliate product if you want. Final Thoughts I go through a lot of different courses, but the One Funnel Away Challenge was the best training I went through last year. I had so many ‘aha’ moments that I was then able to apply immediately to my own affiliate business. That’s what made the challenge so exciting for me. Just make sure you can block out the time required to go through the training. I know it’s hard sometimes because life gets in the way. But it’s totally worth it. Russell goes on a rant about “extreme ownership”, mastering webinars, and a whole bunch more. On this special podcast within a podcast Russell goes on a rant about taking responsibility for your own business because he is not your savior, he is a leader. Here are some of the awesome things to look for in this episode: Find out why Russell is going on a rant about taking ownership in making your business successful. See how you can model Russell’s 12 month plan for financial success. And find out how you can get access to every single product Russell has done to be a master of the webinar. So listen here to find out why Russell decided to rant about taking responsibility for your success instead of blaming others for your failures. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? This is Russell Brunson, welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. Today I’ve got a rant. Alright everybody, I hope you’re all doing amazing. As I said during the intro today, I’ve got a little bit of a rant. And this is a rant not out of being upset, more out of love for somebody who reached out to me on Instagram the other day, and said some things, and I wanted to grab the person and spot coach them on the spot and be like, “I see what’s wrong.” But instead I thought, there’s more than one person who’s got this exact same problem, so I wanted to do this as a podcast so that it will not only help her, but will help everybody. So I’m not going to tell you her name or situation or story or anything, but I’m going to kind of tell you a little bit of our conversation, I’m going to do a little bit of a rant, and hopefully it will help somebody else out there who is listening, as well as her, as well. So some of the really, really quick back story, this is somebody who has kind of popped in and out of our community a couple of times, I’ve seen her at a couple of events, she’s somebody who is definitely trying, putting forth the effort. So I am, that’s why I’m aware of her, and I’ll kind of leave it at that. She came to an event we did last year for our high end coaching clients, as a guest, I let her come and kind of attend, and I’ve seen her at Funnel Hacking Live, and a couple other spots. So I’m really excited, this looks like good things are happening, momentum is happening, so I was really excited. Then I didn’t hear anything from her for a while. And then a week or two I got a message on Instagram asking if I would help with this project she’s doing. And I didn’t, I get 8,000 messages a day on every platform, and I’m just not able to respond to everything. So unfortunately I don’t respond to most things, unless its something that really pops out. So I didn’t and then she messaged again, and she messaged again, and she was like, “What I’m selling is very similar to what Myron was talking about at this thing. Can you help me? Can you be an executive producer for this documentary I want to make?” So it kind of caught me off guard, and I responded back, in fact, let me see if I can pull up my response here, keep the recording going hopefully. So my response was, “Why don’t you just do a webinar and sell the training direct? There’s a proven model that works over and over again. It sounds like you’re trying to gamble on an unproven model, crowd funding for a TV show. Don’t try to reinvent the wheel, just follow the model that’s proven to work.” She was trying to say, “I’m doing this crowd funding thing for this TV show and I want you to be an executive producer, and it’s going to tell my story and from there we’re going to sell my course that teaches how to do this thing.” I’m just like, “Okay, you could do that, or you could do the model that’s been proven by thousands and thousands and thousands of people that we know works beyond a T, you should model the proven thing, as opposed to running down this rabbit hole on something that makes no logical sense and nobody’s ever done before, because you think it’ll be easier than doing what actually works.” So that’s what I said, and then she responded back, “My honest answer, I wrote a webinar,” Which is awesome, yeah, congratulations. “It sucked.” Yeah, it should suck, the first one you do is always going to suck. “I knew it did, so I never even launched it. Then I went to Funnel Hacking Live 2019, I joined 2 Comma Club X thinking I’d get the help I needed to write it, that didn’t happen.” So that was the thing. So I wrote back, I said, “Okay, I’m going to do a rant today inside the 2 Comma Club X group, I’m going to seem a little frustrated. It’s out of love. I won’t use your name…I’m sure other people need this. Hopefully it’s going to give you a clear road map.” And she wrote back, “I’m not in the 2 Comma Club X group anymore. They kicked me out when I put my account on pause. I have no more credit on my cards.” Okay, so I got a couple things I want to talk about tied to this. The first one is I want you to listen to how she phrased these things, because this is so, so, so essential to your success. The second you put your success on somebody else, you’ve automatically failed. If I could grab everyone of you guys and just yell this to you. Notice what she said, she said, “I joined 2 Comma Club X thinking that I’d get the help I needed to write it. That didn’t happen.” And then, “I’m not in the group, they kicked me out.” Notice in both those situations she put her success on somebody else. “I joined this so I’d get the help. That didn’t happen.” So she didn’t get the help, although the fact we’ve got 9 fulltime coaches, 4 coaches including Myron Golden, Stephen Larsen, Julie Stoian, all of which who are amazing at things. We do live calls weekly between all the coaches. The help was there, she didn’t get it. I don’t know if she thought someone was going to come to her house and write it, but she didn’t…..Its there, the people are there. You have to grab it and take it, be on  every single call, go to every single event. Jump on the coaching calls, jump on the open office hours. The things are there, but she said, I didn’t get the help I needed. So I just wanted to put that out. And then, “They kicked me out.” So “I stopped paying and they kicked me out.” She’s putting her success on somebody else. The way that, if you’re taking, and I sent everyone in 2 Comma Club X Extreme Ownership, by the way, so hopefully everyone’s read that, but if you haven’t, that’s the big tweak first off. So I’d be like, my first feedback is you need to take 100% responsibility for yourself. If this was the answer, “My honest answer, I wrote a webinar, then I launched it, I tried it, it didn’t work, so I tried it again, I tried it again, tried it again, after ten times it didn’t work. Then I joined 2 Comma Club X, then I was on every single coaching call, I asked every single coach the question. I got feedback inside the groups, inside the things.” Those are the things that if she had taken personal responsibility for, those are the actions to help you have success with the webinar. It’s not a mystery. I wrote a book on it, we did the 10x Secrets training, which is inside the coaching program, we have all the coaches, all the staff, all the people, it’s a proven model. Half the people inside 2 Comma Club X are doing this thing, if you just jump in and do it, they’re there. Anyway, and then again, “They kicked me out of the account.” They didn’t kick you out of the account. You kicked yourself out of the account, you stopped paying. And I understand if you ran out of money, I totally respect that and understand that, but they did not kick you out, you kicked yourself out by not continuing to pay. It’s just like this little phrase that seems inconsequential, but it’s so freaking important. Don’t put your success on somebody else’s. Garrett White spoke at Funnel Hacking Live 3 years ago and did this whole rant about, for each of us individually he says, and one of the pieces was, “You’re a leader, not a savior.” Our job is not to save you, our job is to lead you, we are leading. How many webinars have I done? How many…inside the member’s area there’s like 15 different webinars that I’ve done that we successful that you can watch, and can watch over and over and over again. All my staff, all my coaches, all my people, everyone knows how to do webinars, the access is there. But the problem is that you wrote one, and then you thought it sucked so you never did it. Alright so, there’s the first part of the rant, it was just personal responsibility. It seems so little, but it is everything. Shifting that from, “They kicked me out. I didn’t get the help I was expecting. I didn’t…” No, no, no you have to shift that, because until you do, you will always be a victim in this situation. That’s the first piece of advice that I wanted to put out there. Now I want you to listen to the second piece of advice. And it’s funny, as I was thinking about this, this morning, it’s funny, for those of you guys that go to church, and I’m assuming it’s true in any church, but we go to church and they’re always like, “You need to pray. You need to repent. You need to do what’s right.” And you’re like, “This is the same message you keep telling me every single time.” And it’s like, it’s the same message that everyone still needs, that’s why we keep saying it. And I feel like it’s almost the same thing. Two years ago I did a podcast called, this is your business plan or business model for the next 12 months. And in there it said basically you need to do a webinar a week live,  every single week, until you’re a millionaire, and if you do that every single week for a year, you’ll be successful. And that’s the next piece of advice here. Is that you said, “I wrote a webinar, it sucked. The market didn’t tell me that, I just assumed it sucked, so I stopped trying.” No, that is how you don’t have success. The way you have success is you write a sucky webinar, then you get people on the sucky webinar, you do it, and you suck. Then you look at the feedback from that sucky webinar, you make the tweaks, make it a little bit better, then you do it again, and the next time you suck a little bit less. And you keep doing that every single week for an entire year until you’re a millionaire. That’s it. It’s not that hard. That’s the model, it’s the thing that we’ve….you just…that’s…I don’t even know what to say. So I’m thinking because I did that podcast 2 1/2 – 3 years ago. The time I did it was, it’s funny because Brandon and Kaelin were launching LadyBoss at the time, and they heard that, and then they did a webinar every single week, and boom, now they’re doing like 40 or 50 million bucks this year. And I can tell you a handful of inner circle members who listened to that podcast and guess what they did? They went and boom, did these huge, built huge companies off of it. So just like if I was at church and say, “You need to pray, you need to repent, you need to do what’s right.” I’m going to do the same thing right now and I’m going to actually insert that podcast episode right here, that way you guys can go and listen to it again and realize that this is still the same message. It has not changed. My advice for the next 12 months is the same advice as it was back then for the next 12 months. You need to be doing this over and over and over and over again. So person who this podcast is specifically for, take the crappy webinar that you wrote and then do it, live. Don’t retweak it or change it or hope that somebody else is going to take your responsibility and rewrite it for you. This is your business and you’re the only one that cares about it. Therefore you’re the one that has to do the work, and you’ve got to do it. And then I would go and plug into every single group and go find people and say, “Can you listen to my webinar?” And ask people questions, and then after you do, go watch my webinar, and then watch 5 other peoples. Find Liz Benney’s webinar, or find Annie Grace’s webinar, or find Kaelin Poulin’s webinar, watch all the webinars, watch mine again. Some of the people that have had the most success webinars, told me, “Russell I’ve watched your webinar over 50 times.” 50 times! How many times have you watched my webinar? Have you dissected it? Have you written it out? Have you figured out how you would change this for your market? If not, you’re not trying hard enough, you’re putting the blame on someone else. This is your responsibility to do the hard work. It’s not my role, it’s not my team’s role, it’s not anybody else’s role except for yours. We are not your savior, we are a leader. We are leading, we are going and trailblazing and leading back everything we’re finding. Here’s all this stuff, take it. But you’ve got to be responsible for it, not me, because I don’t care about your business as much as you do. Just like nobody cared about my business when I was getting started. I can’t tell you how many times I failed over and over and over again. It wasn’t on a webinar where nobody was there. It was me failing on a stage in front of people. That is embarrassing, super embarrassing. My wife and I are broke and I’m flying across the country leaving my life with our brand new twins for three or four days, paying my own way to get there, paying for my hotel, and 4 or 5 grand in the hole, step out on stage and speak, and nobody buys. I had to call my wife that night and be like, “Hey hun, guess what?” She’s like, “How’d you do?” I’m like, “I did alright.” She’s like, “How many people bought?” I’m like, “None.” She’s like, “None?” “Yeah.” She’s like, “But how much did it cost you to get out there?” “Uh, about 3 or 4 grand in.” She’s like, “Well, why did you do that.” Because I have to learn the skill. It’s hard, it’s embarrassing, it’s frustrating. Leaving my wife and our kids and not having the money, not making a penny from the trip, losing 5 grand to go and practice onstage, standing in front of a group of 100 people, 200 people and embarrassing yourself, not having a single person move when you walk to the back of the stage, that sucks. But guess what, I did it week in and week out, week in and week out, and I would go and sit through the event for three days and watch every other presenter present, and I would take notes. What did they do? Why’d they do that? How’d they do that? How did they get people to walk to the back of the room? How’d they structure their presentation? What worked, what didn’t work? Over and over and over and over again. And now 15 years later it’s easy. But you gotta put in the work first, you gotta put in the time first. And this isn’t, and I wish I could have somebody just do my whole webinar for me, but guess what, nobody cared about it like I did. Nobody cared about my little ideas except for me. I knew they were big, I knew they were going to change the world, but I had to go out there and learn the skill. So for you, and again, this is for that one person, but this is for everybody who is listening. You need to take this personal responsibility on yourself. This is your product, this is your service, this is your business, nobody else cares about it except for you. Therefore you’re the one that needs to make it successful. Therefore if you write a crappy webinar, you don’t just stop. That’s the beginning point, we all write a crappy webinar to start.  Then you go and you do it, and then you do it again, and you do it again. And it’s going to suck at first, because at first you’re going to make zero dollars. You’re probably going to spend money to get ads to show up. You’re going to be bribing people, you’re going to be spending 40 hours on Facebook in every group related to you, trying to recruit people to come to your webinar. And you’re going to get 100 people to sign up and one of them will show up and it’s going to suck, and it’s going to be embarrassing, you’re going to cry your eyes out, but that’s the path. If it was super easy guess what, everyone here would be doing a webinar every single time. It’s not so you gotta care more. And you can’t expect anyone else to care. You can’t put the blame on anyone else. Extreme ownership, it’s you. You are the only person, youl’re the one who’s stepping out into the arena and you’ve got to figure this thing out. So that’s the goal. And if you’re too shy, or you’re introverted, I get it. So am I. I hate talking to people. But if you really care about this business and your mission and stuff, then you’ve got to go out of your way to go out there and ask the questions, jump on the coaching calls, go into the facebook groups, talk to people, trade them. Say, “I’ll work for free for you if you review my webinar.” “I’ll do this for you.” Whatever it takes. It’s going to be uncomfortable and it’s going to be painful, and it’s going to suck at first, I get it. But if you really want this thing to happen, that’s the path. And if you don’t, that’s cool. Go back and do whatever you did before, I don’t care. But if this is the path, I just want to paint a really clear picture, this is not all sunshine and roses. It’s hard, it’s hard work. But nobody ever said changing the world is going to be easy. So if you really do believe in your product or your service, and you really do want to change the world for the people you’ve been called to serve, then this is the path, and you’ve got to do it over and over and over again. Alright with that said, I’m going to stop talking here for a second and have my brother go and find the podcast episode that I did, it might have been 3 or 4 years ago now, but basically it was like, if I remember right, it was December or the beginning of the year, I was coming home and I mapped it out. I said, this is the business model for the next 12 months. If you do this for the next 12 months you will be financially independent. And that, that calling, that statement, that phrase is still true today. So I’m going to post it here, the same thing I talked about in the Expert Secrets book, just because I haven’t been ringing that bell as much, doesn’t mean it’s not true. It’s still the path, still the process, still exactly what I would do if I was starting over again today, live. So I’m going to have him insert that right now and then I’ll be back here in a few seconds. Hey everyone, I hope things are going amazing for you. Heading home from the office today, and just keep getting more and more excited about how simple and stupid my plan is for next year. The angle's always world domination, and the strategy's changed so many times, but look at the people in our coaching group that have made the most amount of money, the things that have made me the most amount of money. It's all had to do with one core focus. It comes down to this. If you’re taking notes, write it down right now. If you're in a car, pull over so you can focus a 100% because this is the key. Okay, and I talked about his on my periscope, the one that I told you guys about yesterday that we did 150k sales on it. The key is having a live event every Thursday, and the one singular goal of your entire company is to get at least a thousand people a week onto that webinar. That's it. It's kind of like the whole 'apple a day keeps the doctor away'. A thousands registrants a week for your webinar keeps money flowing. We were doing the math on that. Let's just say, and I don’t have the numbers in front of me cause I'm driving, as you guys know, but say you have a thousand people a week to register. This is all sources, so Facebook, solo ads, email ads, Twitter, social media. Everything you're doing is all pushing towards this one event that's happening ever single week. You're just focusing on that. Okay, and so you're doing that. You have a thousand people to register. From that, you get thirty percent show up rate, right? That drops to three hundred who show up, and then your call to action ... Let's say you follow the perfect webinar script, if you don't follow it, you get like 1% closure. You follow the perfect webinar script, you're at 10% close rate. That means of the 330 people give you a thousand dollars from that webinar, so you just made 30,000 dollars. The math on that, let's say you should be averaging between 3 and 5 dollars per webinar registrant. Let's just say we spent 5 dollars per registrant, and we've got thousands. You pay 5 grand, and you make 30, okay. Now, what is that? If I was talking to my kids right now I'd say, "Son, you call that arbitrage, okay." I put in 5,000 dollars on Monday through Thursday. Thursday night, I get 30,000 dollars back, boom. I didn't just get that because a couple other things are going to happen. Second off, from Thursday night to Friday, Saturday, Sunday, we're going to be focusing on our replay sequence, okay. Now, there are a lot of different things you can do in a replay sequence. You can just send out the replay. You can send out urgency and scarcity we talked about a couple days ago. You can do a whole bunch of cool things, but if you do it right, you should be able to double your sales from the replay sequence, okay. Because think about it, you had 1,000 register, only 300 showed up. Only 10 percent of those people bought. You only had thirty people out of a thousand. That means you have a whole crap ton of other people haven't bought yet, and so you're job is to follow up with those people and get them to buy. Give them some urgency, some scarcity, do some cool things, maybe do a periscope, rant close Saturday night trying to get them to buy, whatever it is. You're pushing these people to take action and to give you money and to close. If you do it right, you should double your sales. That means that 30,000 now turned into 60,000. You have 5,000 dollars in, 60,000 dollars back out. You have more than 10X your money that week, which is pretty good, right? You're like sweet this is a good business. I put 5 grand in on Monday, I get 60,000 back out by Sunday at midnight. You do that every single week. Let's say that was all you did. I don't have a calculator here, and I'm not smart enough to do the math while I'm driving, but if you do that, 60 grand times 52 weeks, what's that end up being? Whatever, 3 million bucks or something, right? Your cost, 5 grand times 52 weeks, you're at 250 grand. You put in a quarter of a million bucks, you made 3 million, or whatever that is. That's a great business. That's more than most people will do ever. That's really, really exciting right there. That's the first step in this. The second thing to think about is every single week, you're adding a thousand people to your list. Okay, so by the end of the year, you have 52,000 people on your email list. These aren't normal people. People who have gone through your webinar registration funnel, seen your indoctrination series, they've been on your webinar, they've been indoctrinated, they've learned from you, they've seen you pitch. Those people will love and respect you a lot more because of that process that you went through with them. Now you've got a better quality person. If you screw this up, if you don't treat your list very well, you should be averaging at least a dollar per name, per month on your email list which means by the end of a year, you should be averaging an additional 52,000 in sales just from other exterior, I know there's a different word for that, but other things you sell that list. If you do it correctly, and you follow the whole DotComSecrets modeling, you do a value ladder, and you have upsales, and you have high ticket things, and you have other webinars and things like that, you should make a lot more than that. You should make five, or six million bucks off of that list to be a hundred percent honest. All that came from one solitary focus. One thing, the apple a day, it came from every Thursday we do a webinar, Monday through Thursday we fill that webinar, Friday through Sunday we close deals. And that is the fuel. That's the business. I just today, right before I left the office, I went on Thursdays, for me I do mine at noon, from noon until 2 o'clock, I put on recurring, and said every Thursday from now until the end of time I'm doing a webinar. Some people say, "Well do I do a new webinar every single week?" No, it's the exact same webinar. “Well Russell, shouldn't I do it automated?” No, you shouldn't, maybe someday, but right now you're going to do it live. I've done my Funnel Hacks webinar at least thirty, maybe forty times live, and I'm going to do it live every Thursday next year that I am in the office. I will automate it the days I'm not there, but I'm going to do it live. A couple reasons why. Why would you do it live? It's the same pitch Russell, it's probably word for word, and it is at this point. This is the reason why: On Thursdays when I’m doing a live webinar, guess what happens? Everyone is focused on this live webinar. Support staff’s ready, we've got people answering chat, tech guys are watching everything making sure that everything's working. We've got everyone’s focus and attention on this one event that's happening. Guess what happens when you focus on something? It's really weird. Whatever you focus on will grow. If you focus on how many leads a day you get, that will grow. If you focus how many webinar registrations you get each week, that'll grow. If you focus how much money you want, it'll grow. If you focus how much weight you want to lose, it'll grow, or you'll lose. Whatever it is on that side. There's this weird thing that whatever we focus on grows, so hey, let's focus on that, and it'll grow, and get better. We focus, everyone focuses. Thursday, this is sales day. This is the day we all focus on selling, okay. Monday through Thursday is marketing, Thursday is sales, and the rest of it is follow up. If you do that, you guys, that's the prescription for an amazing business next year. I was talking to Liz Benny, and I told her, I said, “Liz, I've seen you when you were running the webinar model consistently, you have the right numbers. Everything was working”. I told her, I was like, “I think that you can do 5 or 6 or 7 million dollars”, I have a hundred percent faith she can do it. I know she can, and she knows she can, and she's going to. Guess what she's doing? She's coming back to the same model, going back to basics, all of us. I'm doing it, my entire Inner Circle's doing it, I'm going to be sending this podcast to everyone and forcing them to listen to it because this is the basics. Again, if my son was trying it, I'd say “Son, that is the basics”. That's what we're focusing on, and if we all do that collectively, we'll change the world in our own little ways. That's what I'm doing, I hope you guys follow suit. I'm excited, and I hope you're excited, and it's going to be a lot of fun. I want to warn you, there's going to be some ups and downs. Sometimes Facebook's going to kick you off. Sometimes other ad networks won't work anymore. Sometimes you get crap leads. Sometimes your JV partners will screw you over. Sometimes no one will show up to your webinar. Sometimes the close rate won't work. Sometimes GoToWebinar will drop you, or webinar jam, or things are going to happen, and it's going to be frustrating and annoying and lame and hard, and you're going to be discouraged. Every time you get discouraged, I want you to think about the apple a day, and think about, I've got to come back. This is the focus, and every single week I'm going to get better, I'm going to get better, I'm going to get better. Maybe the first week I'm going to get ten people to register. Next week I get thirty. Next week I get fifty, and if I make that my focus, whatever we focus on, what happens? It grows. We're going to start focusing on that, and what's going to happen in the next 12 months is your business and your life will be transformed. It can't not be, and the lives of the people you're serving will be transformed. You say, Russell, this is cool, but I can't afford to buy Facebook ads right now. I don't care if you can't buy Facebook ads, go spam Facebook, okay. There's a lot of ways to get traffic for free. Go out there and do it. Write blog posts, promote them, go talk to people, do joint ventures. There's other ways to do it, and if your excuse is that I can't do it because my Facebook account got shut down. I can't do it because I don't know any JV partners. I can't do it because, fill in whatever excuse you want, that's all those things are excuses. There's a lot of people with a lot of good excuses out there, but the ones who don't have excuses, and just think, how can I figure this out? They focus on it. It's weird. What happens when you focus again? You get things done. It starts to grow. Start focusing on, what else can I do? I'm broke, I can't buy Facebook ads, what else can I do? I just saw my man Ryan from Hardcore Closer just been watching. He joined Inner Circle a while ago. I've been watching him. Just been crazy impressed with him, all the stuff he's doing, and just grateful he joined because I have a chance to see this glimpse of what he's doing and it's just been amazing. I'm watching him do these blog posts, and he's getting hundreds of thousands of millions people reading these blog posts, and it's just ... He focuses on that and it grows. I saw him post the other day how his goal of the first of the year is to get 100 thousand visitors a month, and I think now he's getting 100 thousand visitors a week, or something crazy like that. It's what you focus on grows, and he's doing that through free traffic, and he started making money, and then he started spending his money on Facebook to boost those posts, and that's the model. That's how it all works. Anyway, I hope that all makes perfect sense to you. I hope that gets you excited. I hope that it inspires you because that's the model, my friends. That's what we're focusing on here. That's how we're going to take our company from 8 figures to 9 figures and beyond. That's how you should be taking it from 6 to 7, from 7 to 8, from 5 to 6, from 0 to 5. It's the model. It's what works. It's what's working today, and there's nothing else you should be focusing on, I don't think. There you go. You've got it on a silver platter now, on a napkin, you have it in front of you. You just gotta pick it up and run with it, and if you do then I only want you to send me 10 percent of what you make. I'm just joking. All I want you to do is serve other people. Help other people, get your message out there, and hopefully you'll tell people about Click Funnels along the way because we love it, and it keeps getting better every single day. Thanks everybody. Okay everybody, so there you go. There’s the path, now you know. No more excuses. Once again, extreme ownership, this is all on you. This is all on your shoulders. Its not me, it’s not your spouse, it’s not your family, not your kids, not the market, it’s all on you. And as soon as you take personal responsibility, 100% personal responsibility, and you really buy into your own mission enough that you’re willing to do the uncomfortable things, you’re willing to lose money, you’re willing to go through the pain of jumping on the calls and talking to people and being outside your introverted self. As soon as you’re willing to do that enough, that’s when you’ll start having success. So on the softer side of the rant, I just want to say that first off, I believe in your guys. I wouldn’t keep doing this if I didn’t believe in you. I know it’s possible, I’ve seen it happen for me and for my family and for the business because I was willing to go through those painful things. So I believe in you. I know you can do it. Number two, if you’re in this, if you’re listening to me and you’re obsessed with this stuff, and you’re trying to figure it out, I believe that’s not just because of randomness. I believe that you’ve been called, and there’s people that you’ve been called to serve and it’s important. And that’s why you have this thing that keeps drawing you back, keeps pulling you back. So listen to that, that should be a guiding light that pushes you as you’re going through these growing pains. The pain of the struggle, the pain of growth because it does matter. It’s not just you you’re doing this for. I know we’re in business to make money for ourselves but that’s not why you do it. You do it because there’s people out there you’ve been called to serve, and you’ve been called to change their life. So I honor you for that. If there wasn’t you wouldn’t be listening to this, you would be paying any attention to it. So it’s worth it to learn the skill sets and to do the things you need to do to be successful. So anyway, the other resources you need, if you need more help, number one, read Extreme Ownership, I think that will help you a ton, for everybody. Number two, if you want to do webinars and really master it, if you go to FunnelFlix.com, the course is free inside of FunnelFlix, it’s my 10x Secrets course. Inside there I go and breakdown slide by slide by slide, and give you my slide. And I have like 15 webinars that I’ve done. So for all sorts of different products, you can go and watch and see me do the pitch over and over and over and over again. Stephen Larsen told me when he first tried to do his first webinar, he went and took every webinar of mine he could find, he ripped the audio, put them on an audio track and just listened to them over and over and over again, just to understand what I said, how I said it, why I said it, my language patterns and my tonality and all those things. He started modeling it, and modeling it, and modeling it, and Stephen had his first million dollar day like 2 months ago, a month and a half ago, from selling onstage and following the process. So it’s there. In fact, I even ripped the audios and put them in audiobook format for you, so you can listen to it in your car. But all that stuff is there, it’s free inside of FunnelFlix. As long as you’re, if you go to funnelflix.com and you upgrade to the platinum level of Clickfunnels you get FunnelFlix for free. And then go into the 10x secrets training course. It’s all there. Everything I’ve got, all my best trainings, all there for free for you, if go to master of webinar. I’ve tried to give you guys every tool, everything you need because again, I can’t do your business for you. I’m not a savior, I’m a leader and I’m trying to lead you. But the only thing I can do by leading is giving you, because I’m trailblazing and figuring crap out, is to turn around and give it to you as fast as I get it. So if you want to master webinars, that’s everything I got. That’s 15 years of me trailblazing for you and giving you like, here’s the script, here’s literally the powerpoints or the keynote’s slides, whatever one you want to use. Here’s 15 different times of me doing it, selling all sorts of different products and services. Here’s me, I show videos there of me doing it, I think I have 4 or 5 different people at one of our FHAT events come onstage and  I would  (FHAT stands for Funnel Hackathon), but people would come onstage and I would with zero notice be like, “What’s your product, what’s your service?” I’d ask them a couple of questions, I’d fill out the pitch and then I’d stand onstage and do the webinar live for them. All that stuff’s in there, it’s all there, just go to FunnelFlix.com and login, go to the 10x Secrets training course and everything’s there, there’s nothing that I hid back, it’s all in there for you. So if you want to master webinars, go and master webinars. You gotta do it over and over and over and over again. So that’s all I got you guys, it’s been a long one. I appreciate you all, thanks for listening. I believe in you, I believe in your dreams, I believe in the people that you are supposed to change. I believe that their lives are waiting for you to become who you need to become to be able to change their lives. So this is the calling for you, take personal responsibility, step up, become who you need to be to change their lives, and as you do that, everything else will take care of itself. You’ll make enough money, all these other things will fall into line, as long as you shift the focus from you to them. But it’s all on you, personal responsibility. Alright with that said, appreciate you all, thanks for everything and we’ll talk to you guys all again soon, bye everybody.

Two big “ah-ha’s” in this episode that will help you to continue to move forward. On this episode Russell talks about rewriting the Dotcom Secrets book before it is released in a box set with the other two books, and struggling to find the motivation to do it. He shares an exchange with Stephen Larsen over Voxer that helped him get back to writing. Here are some fun things in this episode. Find out why Russell’s editing of Dotcom Secrets turned into a full rewrite. See why Stephen thinks Gary V. will win if Russell doesn’t continue to write. And see that everyone in the business struggles at times, even after 15 years. So listen here and see that if you’re struggling to stay motivated with whatever you’re working on, you are not alone. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? This is Russell Brunson, welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. I am so excited to have you here today. I want to let you guys in behind the scenes of some voxer chats so you see what’s actually happening in the real world. Because sometimes when you see the outside façade, and me smiling like, “Hey, I wrote this book.” But I want you guys to feel the pain with me. So I’m going to share with you guys some of those stories and more here as soon as we get back from the intro song. Alright, so here’s the back story. I decided to write my third book, Traffic Secrets, I got excited and I started writing it, and then it turned out to be pretty good, I think. We’ll find out. Hopefully you guys like it soon. And then I got a publisher for it, and the publisher I decided to go with is Hay House because number one they’re amazing, number two Reed who is the owner of Hay House is the man, and number three, they understand our world and let us do our kind of marketing with books. So I was like, yes, of course I’m going with them. So then I was like, “Well wait a minute. If you guys are going to publish this new book, I would love if you guys published the other two and we could do them all hard bound and make a box set, it will be amazing.” So I pitched Reed on that and he said yes. I was so excited, I went back and bought the rights back from the first two books from the old publisher, and then I was like, “Here are the books.” And then I was like, “Wait a minute, do I have some time really quick if I want to add something, if I wanted to update some of the chapters really quick?” And they’re like, “Sure, go for it Russell. That’d be awesome.” So I get the Traffic Secrets book done, it’s 97,000 words. Just to put that into perspective, the original Dotcom Secrets book was 58,000. So it’s almost twice as big as the first book. And I sent it to them and I was like, “Okay, I’m going to dive into these other books and I’m going to start editing. And I found out something strange that I did not think was going to happen. I started editing the Dotcom Secrets book and I found out that the Russell Brunson from 5 years ago sucked at writing. He didn’t eve…. Why did you guys like that book? It doesn’t make any sense to me. I’m reading it and I’m like, this is…So I’ve been rewriting it, it was supposed to be a two week project, and right now I’m literally up insanely early, going to bed insanely late, cancelling everything other than my kids wrestling, to get this book done. I’ve been spending a week on it, I just got done with chapter two. And I’ve added 11,000 words in the first two chapters, which is kind of ridiculous.  But it’s a lot better. It’s way better, I think, I hope. And then everything is kind of in this weird order that doesn’t make any sense to me now, so I’m rearranging the whole book and rewriting things, and it’s becoming it’s own book project in and of itself. It will probably being as big, if not bigger than the Traffic Secrets book, at the rate I’m going right now, which is crazy. So I’m telling you this for a couple of reasons. Number one, because I want you guys to understand the Russell from 5 years ago sucked at writing books, but guess what, I still wrote the book. Some of you are like, “I suck at writing. I’m going to wait until some future date when I’m really good.” Then the book will never happen. Your legacy will never begin. The pathway that you have to pave to greatness, to become who you need to become will never begin because you have to write the crappy book first. So I did, I wrote this book that at the time I thought it was amazing. Everyone thought it was amazing. But it sucks, looking at it now, I’m like, “This book’s horrible.” And I’m grateful for this window that I have a chance to rewrite it so that when you guys get the new version you’re like, “Oh my gosh Russell, this makes so much more sense. This is so clear, the stories are captivating.” That’s my goal with it. But that was the first aha I want you guys to get, is that. Number two, I know sometimes it seems like everything is sunshine and roses. When I click record on Instagram I’m always like, “Ahhh!” happy. When I record a podcast I’m usually like, “Yay!” all chipper. But sometimes its really, really hard. So just a few minutes ago I was, my motivation was weaning. I didn’t go to bed last night until almost 3. Woke up early this morning, came in and did not want to do what I needed to do. So I voxed Stephen Larsen a message, and I wasn’t going to send it to you guys because it’s kind of weird, but I want you guys to hear the raw what I’m actually going through, so that hopefully some of you guys are like, “Oh my gosh, this work is hard sometimes. Oh my gosh, Russell isn’t superman, he’s tired and unmotivated and doesn’t want to do this stuff either.” So I’m going to let you guys listen to that. So I’m going to play the vox that I sent to Stephen Larsen, begging him for some motivation so I can keep writing this book, then I’m going to let you listen to the two voxes he sent back that gave me the motivation, got me excited, and then made me feel like I needed to do this podcast for you guys really quick to share, because I thought it was really fun. With that said, you’re going to hear a private voxer that I was not planning on showing, from me to Stephen, and then messages from Stephen back to me. What’s up dude, are you on an airplane right now? Flying to Prove It? Right now I’m supposed to be writing, I’m trying to not write so I’m voxing you. Hey, what’s up man? It’s Wednesday. Do you think you could yell at me and send me some like, “the Dotcom Secrets book changed my life Russell. If you don’t do this you’re screwing people out of their happiness and future,” that would help me a lot.  Because right now I just want to screw everyone out of their happiness and future because it sucks. It is literally a whole new book. I’m reading this over and I’m like, “how did anybody like this book? It’s horrible.” It’s like I sucked at writing, there’s no good stories, I touch upon things briefly and then I walk away. But then I’m like, What if that was the brilliance of it. Maybe now I’m going so deep that people are like, “Okay Russell, I get the gist, quit telling me stories.”Oh Stephen, {inaudible} but now we’re, I just finished chapter two and we’re 11,000 new words written in this book. So at this pace this book will be well over 100,000 words before I get to the section two. So there you go. Alright, oh good, he’s listening. Give me something, any something. I need some motivation to go write Stephen, please help me. For the love, make me go write something. Alright, I’m going back in. Actually I’m going to wait until he responds, so hopefully he responds sooner or later because I’m not writing a word until you say something amazing. Stephen: WRITE THE BOOK! IT CHANGED MY LIFE!  The book man, if you don’t write that book the internet dies. If you don’t write that book, Gary V wins Russell, Gary wins without that book, don’t let him win. Ps, you’ve added 11,000 words and you’re on chapter two? Oh my gosh. I don’t even know, it’s funny, it’s been so long since I’ve read that book I have a hard time remembering what it is like. But it changed my life. That book truly did change my life. And yes, I just do want to remind you in a very calm tone, Gary V wins if you don’t write the book. Russell: Alright welcome back. Right now some of you guys are like, “Oh my gosh, Russell’s losing his mind. He is a train wreck.” And some of you guys are like, “Oh my gosh, Russell’s just like me.” So hopefully this helps any of you guys that are in that situation where you’re like, it’s hard sometimes. It’s hard to create, it’s hard to think, it’s hard to sit down with a blank pad of paper and write, it’s hard to sit down and create a course. It’s hard to go create an event, or an outline, or a product, or risk your money ordering crap from china that you have no idea if people are going to buy it. I get it, it’s hard and it’s scary, but that’s the game we’re in and it’s fun. And I think the biggest thing is just trying to keep your energy levels high, trying to get motivation from anywhere you can, even if it’s getting people to yell at you through voxer, whatever it takes. But hopefully this helps you guys to understand that the creation process is lonely, it’s tiring, it’s all those things. And the end goal is in a couple of months from now, I’m going to have this box set of books I’m proud of, and that’s why. It’s the vision of that that drives me forward. And hopefully it’s the same thing for you, the vision of the creation, the things you’re making are what make it worthwhile. So the two lessons from this podcast episode, number one is the Russell 5 years ago sucked at writing, but he still wrote. Same is true for you. Right now you’re probably going to suck at whatever you’re creating, but if you don’t start it will never start you on this path, so that’s number one. Number two, understanding that even people who have been doing this for 15 years, people who think may be flawless or whatever, still struggle but we still do it. So I hope that helps somebody out there. With that said, I appreciate you all for listening. Thanks for being a subscriber. If you enjoyed this episode, please take a screenshot on your phone, I’m guessing you’re listening on your phone, go to Instagram or Facebook or your social network of choice, and tag me so I can see the post. The Buzz Behind The Birthday Announcement

Have you been watching the buzz that we’ve been creating? Listen in on my thoughts about what we’re doing and why. On today’s episode Russell recounts how an announcement he’s making on Clickfunnels’ 5 year birthday got so much buzz. Here are some of the exciting things you will hear in this episode: How so many rumors about an upcoming announcement came from a simple two minute video. What some of the rumors going around about Clickfunnels 5 year birthday announcement are. And how studying the story of P.T. Barnum helped Russell see why creating buzz would be a better way to make announcements. So listen here to see how so much buzz was created around this announcement, and don’t forget to watch Facebook Live on Monday to find out what the announcement actually is. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? Good morning, good morning. This is Russell Brunson and I want to welcome you back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. Today I’m going to be reading the second half of the Traffic Secrets book. Alright, so I’m not actually reading it on this podcast. That’d be the longest podcast of all time. But I finished the Traffic Secrets book, did I tell you this already? We’re back from Fiji, and right before we went to Fiji we submitted the final manuscript to the publisher and then they have their editors go through and then send it back to us and we have to do our last edit. And then next Friday, a week from today, I have to submit it and at that point I can never touch it again. So I was kind of freaking out about it because when I read the Dotcom Secrets, and Expert Secrets books, when I finished those, after I got done I went and I remember I recorded the audio versions of them. And as I was recording the audio book versions I found all these mistakes and errors that I hadn’t found even though I read the book like 100 times through. But because I was publishing those through a smaller publisher I was literally able to make the audiobook, make changes, send it to them, and they changed it last minute and then we started printing them. But with this book, the book doesn’t come out until May 5th so it’s like, I don’t know, 7 or 8 months from now, which makes me sad because I want to start selling it tomorrow, because that’s what I do. But we have to wait for forever. So my audiobook I’m probably not going to record until next march or something. At that point it will be too late to make edits and stuff. So I was kind of freaking out, so I thought, I’m going to just do a live reading of it, that way I can read it out loud and I can edit it. So that was the plan. Then I was like, maybe I should invite my traffic team so they can hear my thoughts on traffic to make sure we’re all in alignment. So I invited the traffic team. And then we’re like, wait a minute, if we’re doing this anyway, we might as well record it because who knows, maybe something cool will come from it. So we’re like, if we’re going to record it we should set up a big set, it’s kind of like that book If You Give a Mouse a Cookie. So then we set up the big set, and we’re like, this looks amazing. We should sell access to it. So basically for anyone who bought a Funnel Hacking Live ticket by right now, gets to come and listen to me read the Traffic Secrets book live. So I read the first half of it yesterday, it took like 8 hours. It was really tiring and exhausting. But I did it. So we did that first. And then when that was, so then today I’m reading the second half. So that’s what’s been happening over here. And it’s kind of fun actually reading it that way. It’s interesting, as I’m reading it, for the most part I’m liking all of it. There’s a couple parts I’m just like, ugh, this reads really weird. Or I don’t feel it here. Or I’m getting bored reading this part. Or this part was really fun and exciting. You know, there’s definitely different parts. And then it’s also funny because I found things that the editors edit, and I’m like, I don’t like how that was said, or I don’t like how this thing…you know what I mean? So I gotta change this back, or I gotta add in my voice back in here. Anyway, I remember my grandpa, my grandpa was a professor at BYU, a history professor, and he wrote like, I don’t know, 10 different books on like Columbus and all these old history things that he obsesses about. My grandpa obsesses about history like I obsess about marketing. Anyway, I remember him telling me back in the day when I was a kid, he’s like, “Yeah, when you write a book and send it to the publisher, when you get it back from the editor, you won’t even recognize the book, it doesn’t even sound like you anymore.” I remember him saying that and I’m like, that doesn’t make any sense. But then I totally see that. And luckily for me my editors have been really good at, they’ve kept my voice in and for the most part they’re just cleaning up punctuation and things like that, and things that I say, when I’m saying things repetitively. But it’s just funny because there’s some things they keep changing, and I’m like, “I’m not changing that. This part has to stay in the book.” Anyway, so it’s just kind of fun. Anyway, so today’s lesson has nothing to do with what I just talked about. As you may or may not know Clickfunnels is having our 5 year birthday on Monday. So we are making some changes and having some fun things. So we thought well, we need to get people to come on a Facebook live so I can announce these changes. And we thought, we’ll just do a Facebook live, but if we did that, who knows how many people would come on? So we decided, I wanted to make it more of a formal presentation, and there’s some big changes and some updates and some things happening. So I made these, talking about these changes and now we need to get people to show up and be excited for this thing. So how do we stimulate growth and excitement? And it’s fun because I’ve been studying over the last year a lot of P.T. Barnum’s life. And P.T. Barnum, if you haven’t seen the Greatest Showman, the movie is amazing, but if you study P.T. Barnum’s life, he is the king of publicity and shows. In fact, two days before he died, he wrote his own obituary and published it to the newspapers, that he had died and told this whole story. And people messaged, came afterwards like, ‘You’re still alive. Why did you publish your obituary?” and he’s like, “Oh, I thought that the news of my death would help sell tickets to the circus.’ Or something like that. He’s always about creating the buzz and the story and excitement and whatever to be able to sell more tickets, or deliver the message, or whatever the thing might be. So for us we were thinking, how do we cause some noise, get some excitement? Let’s make this not just like, “Hey, Russell’s doing an announcement, you should show up.” Because then no one’s going to show up. Like, we need people to get excited. And what’s happened, it’s been a show. We could write a whole book on what happened. So what happened is initially we’re like, “What if we got people to start rumors? We got people to go post on Facebook, ‘oh did you hear the rumors that CLickfunnels is selling?’ or things are happening.” So we were thinking about that, and it’s not really as good. So instead what we did is when I was in Fiji I recorded a video, and the video if you haven’t seen it yet, it’s on Facebook and YouTube, but it’s me kind of talking about some of these changes. And I’m obviously nervous about it, and I didn’t try to hide that, and I made this very vague, very cryptic announcement. And I talked about what some of the rumors are. Some people have rumors that we’re acquiring a company, some people, some rumors are that we’re selling, we’re going public, or I’m retiring, all these things. And I haven’t been able to tell anyone, but I’m going to tell everyone on Monday. So that’s been kind of the thing. In fact, I think this podcast will probably go live today, so if that’s the case then you know about it now. It’s happening on Monday. So Monday the announcement will happen and I’ll tell you guys about what it is afterwards, and if you’ve been listening to the podcast you have some hints and some updates. One of the big one’s is that this is just one part of a three part announcement. One part we’re announcing right now, one part we’re announcing at Funnel Hacking Live, and one part we’re announcing on my birthday, March 8th.  So these are three big, fun, exciting things that are happening. So anyway, the reason why I’m telling you this is because what’s happening has been crazy. I’ve been watching people online meltdown, I’ve been watching people post on their own page, “What’s happening?” People taking bets, like, “I think Clickfunnels is selling. I think this is happening. I think Russell is doing this. I think this.” And everybody is speculating like crazy. And it’s causing all this buzz. And it’s been insane to me because I’ve been getting text messages from all my friends, people I haven’t heard from in a long time. People texting me, “Good luck on the news. Good luck on this. We’re nervous for you, we’re praying for you.” all these things. Today I got in the car to take my kids to school and I pick up these other kids in the neighborhood, and when the kids jumped into the car, again, these are kids that go to school with my kids, the first thing he asked was, “What’s your announcement that’s happening on Monday?” I’m like, “What, what?” and my kids are like, “What dad? What’s happening?” I’m like, ‘Oh my gosh, this has gotten all the way to the neighborhood kids. They’re like, ‘Yeah, my parents were talking about it last night for like 30 minutes trying to speculate what they thought was going to happen.” And it’s like, oh my gosh, this is so cool. So I hope you guys are watching this because there is a real announcement that is happening, there are multiple announcements happening over the next couple of months. But we could have easily just gone and told people, “Hey, we’re making an announcement about blah.” But instead we talked about, we’re making an announcement and it’s not these things. And by talking about what’s it not, we didn’t say it’s not about these things, we said that “people are speculating that it’s about these things, but I’ll tell you exactly what it is.” And by saying that and saying what people are speculating, then it caused people to really speculate, and it’s caused all this controversy and all these people talk9ing about it, and it’s just been one of the most organic. fun, cool promotions we’ve ever done. So it’s got my mind thinking, man I don’t want to ever speak or do a Facebook live or do an announcement without this kind of buzz behind it. How do we craft this, how do we choreograph this, how do we create this when we have a new webinar coming out? Or we have a new thing? How do we make it so we get this kind of buzz behind it? Because it causes it, you know, we get people talking about your business and creating speculation and all these things. It’s really, really fascinating. It’s been crazy. And I’m excited to see on the Facebook live Monday how many people actually show up. I don’t think it’s going to be a few, I think it’s going to be insane amounts of people. Just from the amount of people who have texted me personally, people who I haven’t heard from in years, people who are all in the middle of this. The neighbor kids and their parents talking about it, you know online seeing people posting on their own social profiles, and people you know, just causing this controversy and it’s been really fun to watch, and a really interesting marketing lesson. So for you, I’d start looking at your business like what’s an announcement you could make, or you should make? And then how do you cause the buzz behind that? It also makes me think about that for any new webinar I do, or any new announcement, or any new product, or any new whatever, how do you craft that much engagement?  Stephen Larsen when I was at his Offermind event, he talked a lot about how a lot of people think it’s just the offer, or just the funnel. It’s like, no, those are parts of it. You have to have an amazing offer, you have to have an amazing funnel, but then it’s like, the campaign you create that causes the buzz that pushes people into that funnel. That’s a whole ‘nother art and science, the art of creating campaigns and creating buzz and doing these kind of things. And it’s interesting, if you watch the people that are great at this, I’ve been watching, as I’ve been writing the book and editing the book and things like that, every once in a while my brain has a lot of pain. So I’m like, I gotta take a 20 minute break on something. So I’ll go and I’ll watch different things, things that are short though. So like, for example, I was watching the Connor McGregor/Khabib fight, which all my UFC fighter friends and wrestlers would know this. But it was this big fight that happened a couple of months ago. So I watched that. But I was watching all the pre-stuff that built up to the fight. It wasn’t just two dudes stepped in a ring and started fighting. It was like, no there’s campaigning, and trash talking, and pre-weigh ins, and the stare down, and trash talking. And then after the match there’s Khabib jumping over the side of the cage, and all these things that caused the drama, it’s all the campaign build up that makes us care about this fight. Because if two people just jumped in a ring and started fighting nobody would care, it’s what’s the campaign ahead of time that creates the buzz and makes people want to know what’s happening. So that’s what I want you guys thinking about with your businesses. It’s like, what are the things I can do? A really good book to read, probably the best book to read on this, Joe Vitale wrote this book called, There’s a Customer Born Every Minute, and it’s the life story of P.T. Barnum, through the lens of how he did his marketing. I sent this two years ago to all of the Two Comma Club X students. I was like, “Read this book, you guys. It is so good.” But P.T. Barnum, like I said, he lived back in the early 1900’s and this is before the internet and everything. So he had to go and create this buzz to get people to come to the show. And again, if you watched the Greatest Showman, you saw a glimpse of it. But if you study his life, especially that book, that book is really good, There’s a Customer Born Every Minute, by Joe Vitale.  If you read that book, you’ll see how he created all these things. He called them humbugs. We need to create a humbug, which is like a fake story to cause buzz. And back then they didn’t have FTC, they didn’t have the legal regulations. Most of the stuff that P.T. Barnum did back then would probably be illegal nowadays. But he did these things to create buzz. Stephen Larsen at Offermind was showing, he did this campaign where it was like, I can’t remember what it was, it was like a mermaid-monkey or something. But basically it was like a big fish and a monkey and he took the corpse of it and sewed it together so it looked like it was a monkey mermaid, or something like that. I can’t remember. He put these ads in the newspaper showing the picture of this monkey-mermaid, and it was literally he just took a dead monkey and a dead, huge fish and sewed them together, but used that as publicity to get people to come to the circus and come to his museums, and all these crazy things. So I just want you, I hope you’re watching this campaign. I hope that you’re paying attention. I hope you’re thinking about, what can I do in my business to stimulate growth and controversy and people talking? Because man, this is the best viral, free, organic exposure of anything we’ve ever done. And it all started with a two minute video I filmed in Fiji, telling the story about the rumors people have been throwing around. And if I’m completely honest, there were no rumors. I caused those rumors. So there you go, just for my Marketing Secrets friends, you guys know behind the scenes. I’m the one. There was nobody saying, ‘I wonder if Clickfunnels is getting bought or sold or going public or going, if Russell’s retiring or whatever. None of those things people were saying, but I said, in my video I said, “There’s been whispers of this.” And it was, I was whispering about it with my team. But by putting those things out there, it caused the whispers, it caused the things. Anyway, it’s fun. It’s exciting. I think you guys all are going to enjoy it. So hopefully you’re enjoying the show. Come on Monday, again, depending on when you get this, Monday we’ll be making the first of three big announcements, and they are big announcements, each one progressively bigger. And then there’s one, there’s one thing I can’t tell you guys all yet. Even on these announcements that I’m excited for. But I did buy, just so you know, I bought bootstrap.com, and my next book is going to be called Bootstrap.com and it’s going to be telling the Clickfunnels story. And in that book I’ll be able to tell you the full story. Anyway, there’s reasons I can’t explain it all right now, that will make more sense when you read the book someday. But yeah, that book I’m excited for. It’s going to be my first non-how-to book. It’s going to be just the story, the story of Clickfunnels. How did this come to be? How did all the weird characters meet together to create this thing, and the movement and the ups and the downs and all the stuff?  So how many of you guys are pumped for that book? I’m excited.  Anyway, with that said, I’m going to bounce. I appreciate you guys all for listening. I hope you have a good day, and if you do get this before Monday, I’ll see you on the Monday announcement. And if you get this later, that’s totally cool, my next podcast episode will probably be recorded, or one of the near future ones will be talking about that and what came from it. So we’ll go from there. Thanks everybody and we’ll talk to you soon.

Everyone’s been begging me for a glimpse of Traffic Secrets, and while I can’t show you the book, I will give you a sneak peek. On today’s episode Russell gives an interesting sneak peek into his Traffic Secrets book which he is in the process of finishing. Look for these awesome things in this episode: What he has been doing over the last few days to finish the first draft of the book. What his plans for the cover to look like are. What each section of the book will be about and when it will finally be out for everyone to read. So listen here to get an amazing sneak peek into Russell’s new upcoming book, Traffic Secrets. ---Transcript--- What’s up everybody? This is Russell Brunson, welcome back to the Marketing Secrets podcast. Can you tell which car I’m in today? You can probably tell, it’s pretty quiet. When it’s the jeep you really, really know, when it’s the Tesla you’re just assuming I’m either just hanging out or I’m in the Tesla. So we’re in the Tesla heading downtown. It is the last day of writing the Traffic Secrets book and I got a few minutes to share with you guys some thoughts about some things I want to talk about. So with that said, let’s queue up the theme song and I’ll be right back. Alright everybody, I hope you guys are all doing awesome today. As I mentioned in the intro I’m in the Tesla right now driving downtown. And today before I am allowed to go to bed today, the manuscript, the first manuscript for the Traffic Secrets book will be finished, which I’m really excited for. It’s supposed to be done on Monday, and then it became, it was going to be Tuesday and then Wednesday and then Thursday, and today is Friday, so it is getting done. And then my wife and kids are heading downtown to Utah this weekend, which I am very grateful for. I wish I could be with them, but I needed, oh I needed the extra time. I am killing myself to get the book, like I said the manuscript will be done tonight and then tomorrow or tonight hopefully I’ll start at the very top and doing a read through and start going through editing stuff, tweaking stuff. I’ve had about 5 or 6 people that have been going through and reading it and then leaving comments on this site inside Google docs, leaving comments of like, “What about this? Or this? And this made no sense. This was awesome. Do you have any more context here, or do you have any story to light this concept up?” So they’ve been going through, following behind me doing all that kind of stuff. I also have Joy Anderson on my team who has been going through doing editing. So it’s been edited an cleaned up, formatted and stuff like that. So that’s kind of a, we call that a line edit, then there’s a concept edit. So we have 4 or 5 people going through doing concept editing and adding their remarks in. So now tonight or tomorrow I will start at the very top and I will do my last edit, which is me taking the concept edits, weaving them in, deleting them, adding or taking away, whatever I need to do to make sure that all those things work good. And then at that point, Joy will follow with one more line edit, and then we’ll submit section one to the publisher on Monday, and then sections 2 and 3 on next Friday. So it is the end of the time. No more procrastination is allowed. I have, it’s done, it’s game time. The other crazy thing, if you look at the Dotcom Secrets book, it was 58,000 words. The Expert Secrets was 60,000 and the Traffic Secrets book as of today is 87,000 words. And it will probably end up close to 90,000 when all is said and done. So it’s 50% bigger than the Expert Secrets book, which is crazy and I  hope my publisher doesn’t kill me, because they told me to write a 250 page book. But I didn’t listen because I had to write until it was done. It’s funny because people are like, “Well how long is the book going to be? How many pages?” I’m like, “I don’t know. It’s going to be as many pages as it needs to be to explain the concept.” That’s just how it works. It’s why some people, I drive them crazy at our live events. They’re like, “We need a schedule.” I’m like, “Nah, we don’t do that.” “Why not.” “Because I have no idea how long it’s going to take me to teach the session. I’m going to teach until I’m done.” When I’m coming to sell, I know I got 90 minutes, everything is timed out second by second by second, everything I’m going to say, but if I’m coming to teach, I’m teaching until everybody gets it. And sometimes we’re going to go late, sometimes we’re going to get done early. So it’s just going to be as long as it needs to be. That’s how I feel with this book. And then what’s crazy is some of you guys saw the Mastermind.com launch, the top ten affiliates for that are going to Fiji in like a week and a day, whatever that is. So Collette and I are jumping on a plane and flying to Fiji, which is I don’t know, hopefully it’s a long international flight because I’m also re-writing the Dotcom Secrets and Expert Secrets books over the next two months. So I’m trying to get the Dotcom Secrets re-writes done while I’m on the plane. I write on really long planes. So writing it on the plane to Fiji and on the plane back getting Dotcom Secrets re-writes done, which will probably add an extra 20,000 words. I’ve got some cool sections I want to add in there that I think are foundation, essential foundational things that I want to add into Dotcom Secrets, and the same with Expert Secrets. We’ve got some cool updates and additions and things that I think would be really powerful to have in there. So we’re doing that, and then I’ll give, I bought the rights back from those two books from my original publisher, and I’m giving them, or selling them, however that works, to the new publisher. So we’ll have all three books. At Funnel Hacking Live, my goal is to have a box set on stage for everyone to see. I’m not sure if it’ll be done in time, but that’s the goal. We’ll see. And then the actual launch-launch date is cinco de mayo, which is long and far away. But with a legit publisher they make you do things out in the distance, which is why I’m scrambling now so I can have the book by May 5th. But it’s good. The other thing we’re doing is, if you’ve seen the Dotcom Secrets book, we filmed, Brandon Fisher and I did this really cool thing where we spent 6 hours to film literally 7 seconds of video where I’m in front of this wall, there’s all this stuff taped to the wall, and the camera zooms in, it turned out so cool. And then that became the cover shot for the Dotcom Secrets book. And the Expert Secrets book was just a picture of me onstage. I think I’m going to change that for the new updated version. And then for this book, it’s Traffic Secrets, and I need an image for that. So while I’m at the penthouse this weekend, we are staging this huge shot where it’s going to be me overlooking Boise with these three monitors with all these traffic graphs on it, and we’re getting a crane and a camera to fly in and do all these crazy things at night overlooking the city. It’s going to be so cool. So that’s also happening so I’ll have the cover shot done hopefully by this weekend as well. So yeah, a lot of fun things are all happening and I’m excited and pumped and I cannot wait. But also me telling a story about the book, which I’m sure you guys are fascinated by. I wanted to give you some value as well, and kind of give you a glimpse inside of the book, if you guys are okay with that. I’ll probably do more of that over the next few months, just kind of share different ideas and concepts. But it’s interesting, as I wrote the book, there’s three sections. Section number one is really me laying out the foundation for everything else. So it’s, and you guys are obviously more advanced than the typical reader, because you’ve been listening to me for the last, you know, 600 whatever plus episodes hopefully. Bt it’s really the foundation of like, who is your dream customer, where are those people congregating, and hten who are the people that have already pre-congregated? Who’s your dream 100, right?  So we figured that out and so that’s the whole first section. And then teaching the traffic that you, excuse me. So you have your dream 100 and then it’s like, now do I earn my way into that traffic, and how do I buy my way in? So you’re earning your way and getting free traffic, you’re buying your way and doing paid ads, and then you convert all that traffic into traffic you’ve earned, traffic you control and traffic you own, which is your own email list right. Then you have an email list, how to do follow up funnels, how to follow up, all that kind of stuff. So that’s the core foundation, section one teaches that. And again, I think a lot of you guys know those things. I go into a lot more depth and detail, but that’s the core things. Who’s your dream customer, where are they congregating, who’s already congregated them? Those are your dream 100. And then how do we work our way into the dream 100? How do we buy our way into the Dream 100 after we’ve done that. And now, we convert that traffic from traffic we’ve earned and traffic we bought into traffic we own. Boom, now we have a list, here’s how we follow up with that list, and boom, now we move into section number two. So section number two of the book is called Funnel Hacking: The Algorithms. And it starts going into, “Okay, how do we funnel hack Facebook and Instagram and Google and YouTube, and podcasting. And I just showed 5 networks. The two biggest social networks, the two biggest search networks, then podcasting because I love podcasting. And then I left it open. I didn’t go into every single network on earth. I didn’t go into Twitter and Linked in and TIkTok and Snapchat and all the others, although I could’ve. The reason why is because in those 5 chapters I lay out a framework, and the biggest, most difficult thing for me writing this Traffic Secrets book is I’m writing a book I want to live for forever and be evergreen on the most un evergreen topic of all time, which is traffic. Literally the Facebook ads manager changes every single day. So it’s like, how do you write a book and take a snapshot in time, like this is how it works, when tomorrow it’s different? So instead I tried to show a pattern. This is the pattern of how it all works, and how it works over and over and over and over again. And I show that pattern in the current Facebook, current Instagram, current Google, current YouTube, current podcasting, but then I’m trying to not just give a man a fish. A lot of times it’s like here’s the fish, this is how you do it, just copy the process. But instead I’m trying to teach people how to finish in this book. So it’s like what’s the pattern every single time. So if you look everyone of these chapters it’s kind of interesting. The first section of every chapter is like the history. Like if you want to know where the platform is going we have to know where it came from. Like how to Google start, how the algorithms change, why do they change, what was the purpose behind this one and that one and that one? Because if you understand why Google is making these changes, and you can start thinking like them and understanding, this is what their goal is and what they’re trying to do and their intention. Because you may be reading this chapter in the book right now, and it may have already shifted, so you need to be able to understand and find the history of what’s happening and where we’re at today. That’s number one, is getting a lay out of the history of each of the platforms and what the end goal is of each platform, which is always how to make the best experience possible for the end user. Google wants to make sure when you go to Google, you get the best results. Facebook wants to make sure when you show up to Facebook that you love the things that are in your feed. That’s it. So that’s what they’re trying to do. How do we align with those networks, instead of trying to compete against them, which is what all the spammers and scammers do, how do we align with the will of the network and then if we give them what they want, they’ll give us what we want. So it’s all figuring out that alignment. That’s number one. Then number two, the next step in the process is always who on the platform has already figured this out? Who’s already identified your dream customers? Who’s already publishing? Who’s getting tons of views and likes, whoever it is? Let’s find those dream 100, I tell everyone, let’s say it’s Facebook. Go into Facebook, unfriend all your friends and go follow all your dream 100. That will make it so your newsfeed is just a real time swipe file of the pulse of your market, what’s happening, and you can feel it, as opposed to being distracted by all your friends and family posting cat pictures and such. So you delete everyone and just follow your dream 100. And now you ha ve your pulse on the market. Now you can feel what’s happening in the market. What’s working today? What kind of things are people posting? What’s getting the most likes, and the least likes? It gives you the ability to see in real time what the algorithms are rewarding. That’s the magic of it. So we go back and understand the history, we take a snapshot of where we’re at right now, and we do our dream 100 on the specific platform and we start watching and observing what is being rewarded today, and that gives us a snapshot of this is what’s happening and how we need to do. So now you have that. And the third thing is okay now, based on the snapshot we understand what’s happening, how do we build our publishing plan. So we build a publishing plan, so we have a show on the network that we’re focused on that becomes our show. And then you can leverage that show to earn your way in to other, into your dream 100 and then to buy your way into the dream 100. So that’s the next phase of the pattern.  And then you’re siphoning off the traffic you’re earning, the traffic you’re buying, and converting traffic of your own. And the last section is how do you go and just do paid ads directly on a platform. But that’s the pattern I show in every single network, over and over and over and over again. So if you want a sneak peek at the book, that’s it. It’ spick a platform, looking at the history, figuring out where do they come from, what were the algorithm changes that happened? Okay now we understand, this is what’s been happening over the last decade, now I’v ecome to play this game, now I know the rules of the game, now I’m going to follow my dream 100. What are they currently doing today that’s being rewarded by the platforms? We look at that closely and then we start modeling it. And then after we model it, we start innovating on it for our own show. Boom, we create our own show. After we have our own show, from there we come back, step back and we start figuring out how we use our own show to leverage to buy our way into other people’s shows, and then how do we buy ads to buy our way into other people’s show, drive traffic to build your following, and also to fill your funnels. And t hat’s the game my friends. And it’s so much fun, it’s so exciting. I cannot wait for you guys to read this book. Anyway, it actually was really helpful for me to explain that out loud to you guys as well. I’m going to go back and maybe add a little pre-section before section 2 that explains that better. I think I explained it very well after the section, but I’m going to plug that into the actual section I believe. So anyway, fyi. Thank you guys for letting me share that with you. And the last thing I’ll tell you is section number three of the book is called growth hacking and it’s fun. It’s where we start going into all these other ninja ways to get traffic that most people aren’t thinking about or talking about. Yet, they are responsible for a ton of our traffic. So oh man, I can’t wait for you guys. I hope you enjoy this all. It’s fun. This whole game is so much fun. Alright, that’s all I got my friends. I appreciate you all, I’m almost to the penthouse. I’m actually speaking at Stephen Larsen’s Offer Mind on Tuesday and I’m going to be talking about the same thing I just shared with you guys. I’m going to go a little deeper into it though, so they can understand it at a little deeper level. But I want, I just wanted to kind of flush it out here a little bit. Again, testing my material here. And I’ll be sharing it in the book obviously, but as his event. And for all you guys how are anxiously waiting for the book as much as I am, I cannot wait to give it to you guys. I can’t wait to share it with you gusy. It’s been a labor of love, it’s been a lot of work. And I hope you guys get a ton from it. So with that said, I appreciate you all, thanks for everything. And I’ll talk to you all soon. Bye everybody.
