STOP Feeling Like a Sales Failure! You MUST Do This First.I am Tavershima Ayede, and I insist you stop being prematurely discouraged in business and sales growth. You're juggling a 9-to-5 or school alongside building your business. I get it; sales are HARD. But after two days of giving you the right perspective, this final part cuts straight to the brutal, practical truth: Your real problem is usually quantity, not technique. You need to give yourself grace. If you've only spoken to 10 or 20 people, you absolutely do not have enough data to feel like a failure. That is just the price of admission. It's Business 101. What You WILL Learn in This Final Part: * The 10% Closing Ratio Estimate: Why talking to 100 prospects is your non-negotiable threshold for serious diagnosis... Okay maybe 50! * The Grace You Deserve: Why I specifically urge people with full-time jobs or school to ease up on the pressure. * Conversion Power: How tiny, gradual improvements in your sales process can dramatically boost your closes.Serious diagnosis of targeting, messaging, or conversion flaws only begins after you hit a reasonable threshold. Anything before that is noise!I am also announcing a paid phone sales training program starting January 12, 2026, and a full-time, on-location job opportunity in Lekki/Osapa for the best candidates.Press play NOW to fundamentally shift your sales mindset. Subscribe so you don't miss my next series on solving your business problems!(P.S. Yes, there's background noise—it's cleaning day and my kids are Scratch coding. The value is still immense!)Connect with me, Tavershima Ayede, on LinkedIn or text/call me personally at 08064662140.

Maybe you feel like you're failing at homemaking, or maybe you're just exhausted from trying to do it all “the right way.” In this episode, I sit down with Susan Heid — mom of four, parenting mentor, and the warm hug behind one of the most comforting Instagram accounts I've ever seen. Susan shares real, honest advice about parenting, managing a home, and ditching the pressure to be perfect. We talk about why expectations can sabotage your relationships, how to let go of the victim mindset, and the surprising power of crappy wins — because “done” truly is better than perfect. We've all been there: the first meeting goes great, the recruit leans in, there's chemistry... then silence. Suddenly, every follow-up feels like you're annoying them. In this episode of Recruiting Conversations, I break down how to pre-frame your follow-ups with value, so you stop chasing and start leading. When done right, follow-up isn't a disruption, it's a service. I'll show you how to turn that awkward “just checking in” into a trusted leadership moment that builds momentum and creates future hires. Episode Breakdown [00:00] Introduction – The recruiting tension we've all felt: great meeting, then ghosted. [01:00] Why Follow-Ups Fall Flat – You didn't set the stage. No frame = no permission. [01:30] Pre-Framing the Follow-Up – Plant the seed during the first conversation. Ask if you can share something valuable in the weeks ahead. [02:30] Asset #1: Books – Send a thoughtful book with a handwritten note that matches their challenge. [03:30] Asset #2: Event Invites – Pre-frame exclusive invites to leadership calls, masterminds, or town halls. [04:00] Asset #3: Custom Content – Send a podcast, quote, or framework tied to their specific pain point. [04:30] Asset #4: Pure Gratitude – A thank-you note that affirms their leadership plants powerful seeds. [05:00] Build a Value Library – Create a system to store and deploy assets: books, podcasts, events, insights. [06:00] Final Challenge – Stop winging follow-up. Lead with intentionality, and watch your pipeline warm up fast. Key Takeaways Pre-Frame the Next Touchpoint – Get permission early so follow-up feels like service, not pursuit. Lead With Value – Use books, events, and content that reinforce your leadership and build trust. Customize Your Follow-Up – Reference real pain points from the conversation. Show them you listened. Systematize It – Keep a library of resources so you're never scrambling for the next move. You're Not a Nuisance – When your follow-up is relevant and intentional, it becomes a leadership moment. The best recruiters aren't chasing. They're investing. Start pre-framing your follow-ups, and you'll stop feeling like a salesperson and start being seen as a trusted guide. Want help building your follow-up rhythm? Subscribe to my weekly email at 4crecruiting.com or book a strategy session at bookrichardnow.com. Let's turn your follow-ups into future hires.

How Do I Stop Feeling Like I Have to Save Up My Food for Later?” ~ Here is a hint, (but I encourage you to listen to the full episode still): Yes, you are worthy of all things in abundance. BUT....will you allow yourself to believe it? What you are experiencing, I have also experienced. This comes from a scarcity mindset. When you live life from a place of lack...you believe you aren't allowed to have something or you are afraid you won't have enough of something, you go against what it is you actually want....ABUNDANCE and FREEDOM of that very thing. Creating Boundaries and Building Confidence: A Personal JourneyI used to say "Yes" to everything. "Yes, I'll do this. Yes, I'll do that." I ended up exhausted, with no boundaries, constantly pushing myself to the brink. I told myself it was because I wanted to be nice and help people, but that was just a lie. The real reason was that I wanted people to like me.Creating boundaries is crucial for feeling in control of our lives. It enhances that psychological safe haven we all crave. It's about more than just setting limits; it's about gaining confidence and realizing that you are in charge of your life. While some people's opinions may matter a little, most don't.One of the biggest boosts to my confidence, beyond stopping the endless self-comparisons, was understanding the power of boundaries and surrounding myself with positive people. Look at the people around you. Are they lifting you up or dragging you down? Surround yourself with those who positively impact your life. Judgmental or critical people can seriously damage your mental strength and self-esteem.If you constantly feel awful about yourself, and you're surrounded by negativity, it will reinforce that negative narrative in your mind. Many people don't realize that their closest friends, partners, kids, or even parents can be incredibly negative and harm their self-esteem. Learn to accept these compliments. Recognize the people who genuinely support and uplift you and keep them close.Walking in confidence isn't a quick fix; it's a daily practice. Everyone has to work on this, myself included. Mika, Tia, all of us need to consistently practice building confidence and maintaining boundaries. Don't let your life be defined by negativity, lack of boundaries, or constant comparison. Instead, become familiar with holding your head high, appreciating your unique gifts, and embracing positivity.⭐Get OBSESSED with changing your life. In this shortie episode, I'll talk about how to see the BIG PICTURE, how to avoid self-sabotage, and how to see small improvements as big victories!

It may be that he can no longer stand on his feet and suffering has shaped his character, but this speech by Pope Francis a few days ago is simply AMAZING! "You can have flaws, be anxious and even be angry, but do not forget that your life is the greatest enterprise in the world. Only you can stop it from failing. You are appreciated, admired and loved by so many. Remember that being happy is not having a sky without storm, a road without accidents, a job without effort, a relationship without disappointments. “To be happy is to stop feeling like a victim and become the author of your own fate.” It's walking through deserts, but being able to find an oasis deep in the soul. It's thanking God every morning for the miracle of life. It's kissing your children, cuddling your parents, having poetic moments with your friends, even when they hurt us. "Being happy is letting the creature that lives in each of us live, free, joyful and simple. You have the maturity to be able to say: "I've made mistakes." It's having the courage to say I'm sorry. It's having the sense to say, "I need you." Is having the ability to say, "I love you." May your life become a garden of opportunities for happiness... that in spring he may be a lover of joy and in winter a lover of wisdom. "And when you make a mistake, start over. Because only then will you be in love with life. You'll discover that being happy isn't having a perfect life. But use tears to irrigate tolerance. Use your defeats to train your patience. "Use your mistakes with the serenity of the sculptor. Use pain to tune into pleasure. Use obstacles to open the windows of intelligence. Never give up ... Above all never give up on the people that love you. Never give up on being happy, because life is an incredible spectacle." Thank you, Pope Francis for these words. Please God help me to focus on the lovely sky, not just the storm & let my pain turn into pleasure. If you are suffering my friend you are NOT alone!!!
