Mas também viu de perto o outro lado da alta performance: ansiedade, exaustão, medo, excesso de controle e a dificuldade de sustentar resultados sem adoecer no processo. Foi mergulhando nesse universo que construiu sua trajetória profissional. Formada em Educação Física e Psicologia no início dos anos 2000, fez mestrado e doutorado em Psicologia, especializou-se em terapia cognitivo-comportamental e tornou-se diplomada em saúde mental pelo Comitê Olímpico Internacional. Há duas décadas vem atuando no acompanhamento de atletas de alto rendimento e, entre 2014 e 2022, liderou a área de preparação mental do Comitê Olímpico do Brasil, atuando, desde então, como líder das ações de saúde mental do COB. Nos últimos anos, esteve ao lado de atletas que viveram alguns dos momentos mais emblemáticos do esporte brasileiro recente, entre eles a ginasta Rebeca Andrade, maior medalhista olímpica da história do país, que reconhece publicamente a importância do trabalho desenvolvido por ela ao longo de mais de uma década de acompanhamento psicológico.
