Richtig. Nix! This week, in episode 90, we have a special guest, Fred Warmbier, owner of a metal-finishing business he founded in Cincinnati in 1998. About 10 years ago, Warmbier was ready to walk away from that business. “It just never seemed like I could have the type of business that I wanted,” he says, “where things worked properly and our employees were happy and our customers were happy.”That changed when he discovered the Deming Management Method through a consultant, Kelly Allan, who helped him tame the chaos. Where does one start with Deming? “You start,” says Allan, who is chairman of the Advisory Council of The W. Edwards Deming Institute, “where the pain is.” As it happens, and as he discusses in this conversation, Fred Warmbier has experienced more than his share of pain.

Matt and Erin Warmbier exemplify the theme of this podcast as they constantly make decisions based on more freedom and flexibility for their family. They have chosen to have Erin be a stay-at-home mom and homeschool their 5 children, and now Matt has left his stable job in management at Starbucks to follow his passion and purpose and start a nonprofit. Their story is so beautiful, and I love how they share how they made decisions and how they balance each other out all while considering the other's wants and needs. Even if you don't have children, even if you tell yourself you would never homeschool, even if starting your own project or business doesn't appeal to you...take a listen to this episode!Get involved with and follow Matt and Love They Nerd:WebsiteTwitchInstagramFacebookTwitterYoutubePodcastsAnd I would love for you to check out the Pretty Sure We Can Do Better MembershipPlease reach out to me to connect and let me know your thoughts on this episode!Website: https://www.accountabilibuddyforhire.com/Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/accountabilibuddyforhire/Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/AccountabilibuddyForHire

If Trump wants to work toward the denuclearization of North Korea... Cool. But treating the leader of a brutal regime like he's your long-lost best friend, your younger, drug-addicted brother who you're so proud they finally started going to meetings, the hottest person at the bar that you can't believe chose to talk to you… Well, that's just a dumpster fire… Plus, Trump doesn't think Kim Jong-un knew about Otto Warmbier, he made fun of a U.S. senator with foreign leaders and his response to Michael Cohen's testimony was typical, you know, dumb.
Max gets to Thursday and finds himself spending too much time on the Michael Cohen saga, and the inane questions asked by both Republicans and Democrats except for one congresswomen in particular, the rest it seemed what to act as if they were back in 7th grade. Max next digs into North Korea, but spends most of his time talking about the drug company CEO's who were summoned to congress to please explain why drug prices are so high, and would they pretty please lower those prices. Well gee, that will do it. As if that wasn't enough, Max also finds time to talk Tesla and term limits too.
Daniel Foster of National Review Online and Greg Corombos of Radio America are pleased to see President Trump walk away with no deal with Kim Jong-Un rather than give in to Kim's thoroughly unacceptable demands. They also slam Trump for taking Kim "at his word" that he knew nothing about the horrific treatment of American Otto Warmbier in a North Korean prison and that Trump made some nuclear concessions even before beginning talks. And they have fun with the news that media darling Beto O'Rourke is likely to run for president.
Charlie Sykes, the editor-in-chief of the newly-launched conservative anti-Trump publication The Bulwark, joins Politics Editor Josh Kraushaar to discuss why he and Paul Ryan are "seeing other people," Joe Biden's chances in 2020, and why some people say he's declaring a "fatwa."
On Tuesday's Mark Levin Show, Bill Cunningham fills in for Mark. President Trump was in his element at the historical North Korean summit. The hate-Trump Media hates this great success and won’t give him credit no matter what he does. This hatred is similar to that endured by President Ronald Reagan back in the 1980's. North Korea giving up nukes is a huge deal and Trump deserves credit for achieving this much so far. Also, Kim Jung Un was launching missiles and we were facing a war so how bad could it get? North Korea has no resources and still farms by hand but they have nukes and were threatening the US and the world. So what did we actually give away? Sanctions are in place, troops are still there. Pausing military exercises aren't much of a concession for denuclearization. Later, Barack Obama failed in his handling of American hostage Otto Warmbier in North Korea. Warmbier's family was told to not give interviews about his treatment while held captive by the North Koreans and he eventually died from his injuries - the Obama Administration did nothing to help here either. And if Hillary Clinton would have won the election would we have low unemployment, a market at 26,000, or conservative Justices? Hell no! Learn more about your ad choices. A professor from the University of Delaware has been fired for her very controversial statements regarding the death of Otto Warmbier. Larry Wilmore discusses North Korea and the recent death of Otto Warmbier as well as the criticism he’s received over comments he made about Warmbier last year (0:30). He also checks in on the Cosby trial, the Philando Castile video, and the portrayal of President Trump in ‘Julius Caesar’ (7:00). Then Larry sits down with comedian Kumail Nanjiani to discuss arranged marriages versus "love marriages" and his new film, ‘The Big Sick’ (16:30).
Because You Asked: Why Is Bill Clinton responsible for the death of Otto Warmbier?
In this episode we go in depth on local news relating to the pay raise of our educators as well as laws pertaining to drugs. After that segment, we move on to national news: the recent terrorist attack in London, the death of Otto Warmbier, and the conservative snowflakes.
Mark Bland, Producer Bobby and Jason Kull are not novices to the world. Having been around the block a few times, the guys are pretty mentally grounded in right and wrong. But the first topic of the show this week tests the moral high ground of the guys as a whole. Otto Warmbier is a US college student that was in North Korea for 17 months before he was brought home this past week. Otto was in a coma the majority of that time and when he returned to the USA he passed away a few short days later. Of course with Mark being a lightning rod for discussion, Mark was attacked for his opinion on the Otto situation on Twitter and social media. Mark and the guys discuss the unwarranted attacks on him and why Otto was in trouble in the first place. You just don't steal. It doesn't matter where in the world you are, the sentiments are the same.....stealing is bad. Also, Mark hasn't tested with sound on the show in a while and decided to break it out during the show. This comes on the heels of discussing secret rooms and eventually a discussion on the Supreme Court saying it is OK for sexual deviants and sex offenders to maintain social media. Enjoy!
In this episode we go in depth on local news relating to the pay raise of our educators as well as laws pertaining to drugs. After that segment, we move on to national news: the recent terrorist attack in London, the death of Otto Warmbier, and the conservative snowflakes.

This week's podcast features Fred Warmbier, CEO of Finishing Technology and Kelly Allan, Senior Associate of Kelly Allan Associates and Chair of the Deming Institute Advisory Council. Fred and Kelly discuss their New York Times blog that documents the Deming journey of Finishing Technology, a metal finishing company in Ohio. Fred first discovered the Deming message in September 2013 when he attended a Deming Institute 2.5 day seminar presented in partnership with Aileron, a non-profit near Dayton (Tipp City), Ohio dedicated to, “Raising the Quality of Life in America”. Fred attended with staff from his company and came away excited to explore how to change from the old way of running things. He was driven by self-insight, a passion to study and a desire to help others, while understanding his business system and how to operate it more effectively and efficiently. After additional reading and further study, Fred was motivated to look at all elements of his business differently and through a new lens. He began working with Kelly and as these new insights gained momentum, Fred felt it important to document his experiences, which were often humbling and comical. Around this time, The NY Times ran a story on companies unhooked from commission-based sales, which led to a multi-part NY Times blog, that documents Fred's journey. The goal of the blog is to educate, inform, entertain, make a difference and be a call to action. This fascinating journey will energize executives, entrepreneurs and others who are always (as Fred and Kelly discuss) probing, looking, thinking and determined to figure things out.
