Who's winning and losing in AI plays like a wacky race in that every week there seems to be a new leader. But that's actually the wrong way of thinking about today's AI revolution. The right questions are about the three Cs: Capability, Capital and Civics. We get asked all the time by ER doctors: “How much do I need to retire?” Surprisingly, the answer to that is actually, “You're asking the wrong question.” The real question is: How do you build a career and financial structure that doesn't just pay you—but frees you? A much more useful and interesting question than "What was Israel supposed to do in response to October 7?" is "What were Palestinians supposed to do in response to all of Israel's abuses prior to October 7?"
