In this episode, Tracey and Kelsey discuss these three anonymous questions:1) I feel like your inbox for this podcast is full of questions like mine. I've been married for 26 years, and our sex life quietly died about 10 years ago. I've been listening to you both and I know this is normal. What I want to find out is if my wife misses our sex, or if she is happy with not having it? We're best friends and still sleep naked, we just never initiate sex. We've never talked about sex before, even though we both enjoyed it in the past. How do I start the conversation after all this time?2) I'm a 36-year-old man and have just gone through a particularly nasty breakup with my girlfriend of 10 years. I'm not interested in having another relationship for a LONG time, if ever, but I do miss sex. I have a group of close friends, and one of them has intimated she'd be up for a friends-with-benefits arrangement. Seems like a good idea to me. What do you think?3) I hope you can help me because I think I must be a terrible lover. My long-term boyfriend just broke-up with me, and the main reason why was that he didn't enjoy having sex with me. He said I never once initiated sex and didn't ever seem to enjoy it. He knows I don't have much experience and am naturally shy, but said there was ‘lots of other stuff' as well (which he didn't elaborate on). It's stripped me of what little confidence I did have. How do you tell if you're good in bed? What do I have to do to become good in bed?To have Tracey and Kelsey discuss YOUR secret sex question, enter it anonymously at https://bit.ly/3C4AelUWant a copy of Tracey's book, Great Sex Starts at 50? Jake is joined by Musician and Actor Olly Alexander, the then frontman of Years & Years. Olly is a huge champion of LGBTQ+ issues, proudly celebrating his queerness by writing inclusive songs, displaying queer love in his music videos and portraying lead character Ritchie in the hit TV show ‘It's A Sin'. This Summer, Dino Fetscher will appear in the second season of the Apple TV+ sci-fi series FOUNDATION. The Emmy and BAFTA-nominated series created by showrunner David S. Goyer (The Dark Knight Triology, The Sandman) chronicles a band of exiles on their monumental journey to save humanity and rebuild civilisation amid the fall of the Galactic Empire. Shaken by two murders. Maya Stern (Keegan) watches security camera footage of her house sees her murdered husband Joe (Armitage) back as an intruder. Meanwhile, Abby and Daniel, her nephew and niece, are trying to find the truth about the murder of their mother and seeing possible connections between both cases. In 2021, Dino made his National Theatre debut in the first major European revival of Larry Kramer's seminal play THE NORMAL HEART described as ‘poignant and powerful' by The Guardian, largely based on Larry's own experience of the HIV/AIDS crisis in the 1980s in New York. Dino played the role of 'Felix Turner', Ned Week's closeted lover, for which he received a Best Supporting Actor nomination at the Olivier Awards and WhatsOnStage Awards in 2022. After graduating from The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama, Dino made his screen debut in Russell T. Oh, and it should be mentioned: Helena Bonham Carter plays Noele. Yep, it's a good 'un. And with RTD (as no-one calls him) also the man behind the 2005 revival of Doctor Who - and soon to return to the beloved franchise - that topic may up as well, if only just a little bit.

Did You Know That Details About Jesus' Death on the Cross Were Predicted Years and Years Before He Was Born?  Psalm 22 Part 2   Today we continue looking at Psalm 22, a Psalm that reveals very specific details about what would happen at the time of Jesus' death.  Some of these details you can miss if you aren't careful.  Join me as we unpack what they are.   Hey friends, welcome to the Hearing Jesus Podcast.   Do you sometimes doubt if you are truly hearing God's voice or if it's really your own? Do you wonder how you can know the difference? Do you struggle to feel confident in your relationship with God and what He says in his word? Do you sometimes feel stagnant or like you hit a wall in your spiritual life?   Hey, I'm your host, Rachael Groll: missionary, author, pastor, and life coach. And I have been there. I, too, was doubting God's voice in my own life. I, too, felt insecure about the things I thought God might be calling me to do. I wanted to make a difference in the world and be obedient to what God was calling me to do, but I wasn't quite sure how to figure out what exactly that was. I kept telling myself that I was wasting time trying to figure it out or waiting for Him to show me. Or that I wasn't qualified to do the things I thought He might be telling me to do.   The answer for me was found in the pages of the Bible, as I learned how to understand what it was actually saying. If you are ready to grow in your faith and to step confidently into the calling God has for you, then join me as we dig deep into God's word so you can learn to live out your faith in your everyday life.   Friend, you are loved, you are cherished, and you are His.   The Hearing Jesus Podcast will encourage and equip you to step into the calling God has for your life, living out your faith in the everyday. Together we will break down walls that keep us from growing spiritually. We will dig deep into our Bibles to understand and connect the Scriptures to our lives. We will boldly obey what God calls us to do, walking through doors that only He can open.   Join me for your daily dose of faith, honesty, and prayer.   Learn -> https://shehears.org Connect -> rachael@shehears.org Community-> https://www.facebook.com/groups/743928930315696/ Instagram-> https://www.instagram.com/she_hears/ Missions Support-> https://www.cotni.org/campaigns/rachael-groll     Need to chat one on one? Women often deal with feelings of insecurity and unworthiness, yet the lives of these women show that Jesus values us, wants a relationship with us, and can use us to further His kingdom. In her warm, conversational style, Rachael ties together her life experience, knowledge of the Scriptures, and her compassion for women to encourage us and enable us to become the women God has called us to be.

If you'd like to learn more about Elder Law, Medicaid planning, Guardianship, Special Needs Trusts, or Probate law contact the Law Office of Frank Bruno, Jr. today at 718-418-5000. Thank you for listening! Eldercare law is really an umbrella term encompassing multiple areas of law. Some elder care attorneys handle subjects that most people know something about, such as probate, guardianship, estate planning. Other eldercare lawyers focus their practice on other areas of law such as special needs planning, VA benefits planning, and Medicaid planning. So, what is Medicaid planning? Medicaid planning is a way to protect people's assets from the threat of long-term care expenses. Many clients are between 65 and 95, own their own homes, and have between $25,000 and $750,000 worth of assets in addition to the house. What many people don't realize is exactly how expensive long term care expenses can be – In 2020 the average costs of a skilled nursing facility, in New York is $14,250.00 per month. Someone can be solidly middle class or upper-middle class, have saved their whole life, and think that they'll have plenty of money for whatever happens only to suffer a stroke, major heart attack or get an Alzheimer's or Parkinson's diagnosis and need help with their activities of daily living. If they have this six-figure per year care expense, many people spend everything. Medicare does not pay skilled nursing home expenses after 100 days. An elder care attorney, who handles Medicaid planning, is able to legally and ethically protect people's assets to get them qualified for Medicaid. Medicaid, unlike Medicare, has excellent long-term care benefits. This helps them supplement their lifestyle with their own assets (to improve the quality of their life while alive) and make it more likely that they will have something to pass onto their heirs after they pass away. There are many myths and much misinformation surrounding long-term care Medicaid in New York. To learn more please visit... https://www.frankbrunolaw.com

In the 17-or-so years that I've been working, I've quit a LOT of jobs. I could probably do an Ariana Grande-style 7 rings musical rendition of all the jobs I've quit … but I'll spare you.    (Though if you did want a list, you could just go back and listen to us recount all the (embarrassing) things we've quit on the podcast.)   From the Old Navy store at the outlet mall, to nannying, to investment firms, to law firms — I've quit ‘em all.    The longest I ever had any job was about a year-and-a-half — hardly long enough to achieve anything, but certainly long enough to know I hated it!     So, how did someone practically allergic to employment end up doing a job (I'm talking about coaching, obviously) for 10 years without quitting?   That's what Kristen and I are diving into in a brand-new, super in-depth Side Chat! Listen in as we talk about:   Learning the hard way what a job is, and isn't, meant to do for you  How your enjoyment of a job can magically change, even if you hated it before, when your mindset shifts Getting clear about whether the problem is you, or the job And a LOT more!   LAST DAY TO APPLY TO WORK WITH US 1:1!   How awful would it be to keep quitting jobs, over and over, thinking you just haven't found the right one yet … when really, the solution is to work on yourself?   We're proof that when you address you first — your desires, your triggers, your boundaries, your default settings, your talents, your bad habits, your emotional ups and downs, your identity — then a job (or a relationship, or anything) you truly enjoy (and one that has staying power) is the natural byproduct.   That's what we do for other people in coaching. And if you like the sound of that, then allow me to inform you that TODAY, May 20th, is the last day we're accepting applications for new coaching clients!   We have space for maybe a couple clients, so act quickly if you think this could be for you. This is for people interested in getting started in May or June. We've temporarily brought back the option of doing 3 months of coaching, rather than the traditional 6! We probably won't offer that level of coaching next time we accept applications. You don't have to know for sure that you want to move ahead with coaching. You just have to be serious enough about it to want to have a conversation.   Ready to talk about it? Fill out the form on this page to apply, and one of us will schedule an info session with you!   LISTEN TO THESE EPISODES NEXT   Bonus Side Chat: All the (embarrassing) things we've quit (October 2020)   Side Chat: How to figure out what to do with your life (June 2018)   Expecting the perfect job to be your savior with Sarah Knight (October 2019)   Side Chat: The 4 Passion Profiles (December 2018)   Side Chat: Problem transfiguration (November 2019)   LINKS   Leave us a comment on this episode   Take the Passion Profile Quiz   Submit your question for a future episode of Dear Krachel    Join our Patreon community   Check out our YouTube channel

Co-host Leigh M. Johnson is in the hot seat for this episode's discussion of digital afterlives. If we consider the "digital," information-based self to be distinguishable from the meatspace self, we should ask: how long can the Digital Me live on after my meatspace body dies? Technology already enables us to "re-animate" archives of personal information in many ways, and some futurists believe that we may, someday, be able to upload our consciousnesses to the cloud. Who owns that information? What are they currently allowed (or not allowed) to do with it? What would happen if we insisted that all of our information being "deleted" after we physically die?Whether or not you believe in a Heaven or Hell, all of us need to think more seriously about our digital afterlives. Rick, Charles, and Leigh work through some of that thinking-- and much more-- at the hotel bar!Check out the links below to learn more about thinkers and ideas referenced in this episode: Maggi Saven-Baden and Victoria Mason-Robbie, Eds., Digital Afterlife: Death Matters in a Digital Age (2020)  Rebecca Skloot, The Immoral Life of Henrietta Lacks (2011) origin of the term "meatspace" A visualization of the length of Terms of Service for 14 popular apps Tupac hologram performs with Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre at Coachella 2012 "Facebook told to grant grieving mother access to daughter's account" (The Guardian, 2011) Black Mirror episode "Smithereens" (on IMDB, or watch the episode on Netflix) Marshall McLuhan, The Medium is the Message (2001) "Everything You Need to Know About Twitter Direct Messages" (Livewire, 2020) What is data anonymization? The series follows the British Manchester-based Lyons family over 15 years. It looks very familiar to thos who love smart family dramas, but gives a unique view of how global, political, and technological advances impact us all, whether we are paying attention or not.
