On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, hosts John Boccacino and Jamie D’Amico continue their offseason State of the Bills series of podcasts by breaking down and reviewing the contributions the Bills got from their running backs during the 2020 season. The Bills set a franchise record for points scored in a season (501) and tied the record for most wins in a season (13) despite getting below-average and inconsistent production from their running backs. From general manager Brandon Beane and head coach Sean McDermott to offensive coordinator Brian Daboll, everyone at One Bills Drive has agreed that the Bills need to run the football better in 2021. Devin Singletary led the team with 687 yards while Zack Moss had 481, and they averaged 4.4 and 4.3 yards per attempt, but after how Singletary finished during his rookie season and after the Bills spent a third-round pick on Moss, most Bills fans went into 2020 thinking the team had a strong 1-2 tandem in the ground game. That wasn't the case this year, as Buffalo ranked 25th in the NFL in yards gained by running backs (T.J. Yeldon and Antonio Williams added 133 combined rushing yards). The Bills had the fourth-highest percentage of runs that were stuffed, plays that lost yards or gained nothing, or one out of every 9.7 attempts. While much of the blame can be placed on an offensive line that often failed to open up holes and used seven different starting combinations, how much of the blame should be placed on the backs? Do the Bills need to add to the running back group to find more balance in 2021? We dissect what the Bills can do to fix their ailing ground game and run through the strengths and weaknesses of Singletary and Moss, highlighting where each back improved in 2020 while offering up areas for improvement in 2021. We sift through the rest of the backs (including Williams, free agents T.J. Yeldon and Taiwan Jones, and fan favorite Christian Wade) to see what the Bills have at running back, discussing whether Beane should use pick No. 30 to upgrade the running back room, whether there are any free agents who make sense to sign, and more. The second-seed Buffalo Bills (15-3) face the reigning Super Bowl champions and top-seed Kansas City Chiefs (15-2) at 6:40 p.m. EST Sunday evening in the AFC Championship game. On the latest episode of the Billieve Podcast, hosts John Boccacino and Jamie D’Amico have everything you need to know about this game featuring two young quarterbacks, two aggressive offenses and two opportunistic defenses as the Bills look to advance to Super Bowl LV. Among the topics covered on the podcast: What’s changed since the first time these two teams met this year, when the Chiefs ran all over the Bills during a 26-17 win in Week 6? A healthy Matt Milano, Tremaine Edmunds and John Brown. The lessons Josh Allen learned from that game, arguably his worst outing of this MVP-caliber season. How strong safety Tyrann Mathieu is deployed as a weapon on defense, and what Kansas City defensive coordinator Steve Spagnulo could do to confuse Allen with plenty of DBs and blitzes? Can the Chiefs have the same success running the ball this time around, against a healthy MIlano, who is keying a defense that is much improved from that loss to the Chiefs? How hurt is Patrick Mahomes (toe injury) and how could his injury limit him/the Chiefs offense? The Bills’ front four needs to generate plenty of pressure while once again maintaining gap integrity, just like last week vs. the Ravens. Why Buffalo should not employ a blitz-heavy strategy against Mahomes and why the Bills should want the Chiefs to rely on a run-heavy game plan? Cole Beasley should be in line for a big day against rookie CB L’Jarius Sneed, while Devin Singletary and T.J. Yeldon should be threats out of the backfield. Jon Feliciano and Ike Boettger will be challenged by talented DT Chris Jones. What to do about Travis Kelce and Tyreek Hill? Isaiah McKenzie is a secret weapon for the Bills. Score predictions from Boccacino and D’Amico. Alright folks, this week we flip the coin and talk everything Bills offense. We all remember the highs and lows of last year's offense. Gabe, Doug, DJ, and Ritz breakdown last year's offense all the way down to T.J. Yeldon, and how the Bills' draft picks and the trade for Stefon Diggs can take everything to the next level. The hype is definitely there, but can they really be a top 5 offensive unit? With our luck, probably not. At least more than mediocre? Kind of hard to say no here. With Kelvin Benjamin no longer running at the speed of 0 and dropping everything in sight, anything is possible. --- This episode is sponsored by · Anchor: The easiest way to make a podcast. https://anchor.fm/app Support this podcast: https://anchor.fm/cripplingmediocrity/support

Host John Boccacino and co-host Jamie D'Amico break down the key matchups of Sunday's Week 3 clash between the Buffalo Bills and the Cincinnati Bengals. Among the topics discussed: how the Bills offense can capitalize on a banged-up Bengals' offensive line; the matchup nightmare that is speedy wide receiver John Ross, and who in the Bills secondary will be charged with covering Ross and Tyler Boyd; the revitalization of Andy Dalton in Zac Taylor's new offense; the importance of generating pressure on Dalton, who thrives in the quick-release offense; the potential for Buffalo's defensive line, led by Jerry Hughes, Ed Oliver, Harrison Phillips, Trent Murphy and Shaq Lawson to have a huge day; how the Bills offensive line can contain talented pass rushers Geno Atkins Carlos Dunlap; and what Frank Gore and T.J. Yeldon must do to take advantage of a suspect Bengals run defense. Check out the latest episode of Billieve to find out our thoughts on these issues and more! Learn more about your ad choices. The Bills put up only 17 points per game in 2018, good for 30th in the league. With a revamped offensive line, new OL coach and some key free agency acquisitions on the offensive side of the ball, how different will this team look in 2019? The Bills drafted Devin Singletary in the 3rd Round, signed Frank Gore AND T.J. Yeldon, and still has Shady McCoy on the roster as of June 25th. What do we make of this backfield?

RotoUnderworld Radio - Fantasy Football Show

RotoUnderworld Radio Fantasy Football Podcast - Mind of Mansion, Ep 436: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion), Matt Freedman (@MattFTheOracle), and a surprise guest agree that N'Keal Harry and A.J. Brown are the only two bust proof wide receivers in the NFL Draft. Cardinals will undoubtedly draft Kyler Murray. Parris Campbell looks the part of a versatile NFL playmaker. Hakeem Butler looks like a poor man's Jon Baldwin. D.K. Metcalf looks like an NFL one-hit-wonder. Andy Isabella needs to be a day-2 draft pick to be assured of an NFL breakout. Jon Duhart, Reggie White, and Marcus Green are top deep sleeper wide receivers. Miles Sanders has the strongest case to be drafted in the second round. Bryce Love should have come out of college last season. Darrin Hall and Ty Johnson are the best deep sleepers in the NFL Draft. Dominick Bragalone needs to be on your radar. Dwayne Haskins is the 1.02 in 2-QB and superflex league formats. T.J. Hockenson is a top-5 prospect on offense. Irv Smith looks like Eric Ebron (in a good way). Donald Parham & Caleb Wilson are intriguing sleeper tight end prospects. Did the Seahawks pay Russell Wilson to hand the ball off? Tyreek Hill is a bad person and a hold in dynasty leagues. Travis Kelce vs. George Kittle: Who is the top tight end in dynasty leagues? Why is there no debate about Saquon Barkley being the No. 1 running back in fantasy football? Dede Westbrook needs to be fed this season, but don't forget about Keelan Cole. DaeSean Hamilton should lead the Denver Broncos in receptions. Watch Justin Watson post fantasy relevant weeks this season. Christian Kirk has a real chance to deliver a fantasy WR1 season in Arizona. No one loves Mark Ingram's future in Baltimore. Derrick Henry broke out all over the place last season, and no one cares. Who is more likely to slump: Lamar Jackson or Josh Allen? Keke Coutee is a top under-the-radar second year receiver who is primed for the biggest breakout. Should Ronald Jones have returned to college? Smart people have been hoarding Davante Adams in dynasty for many years. Will Fuller is a top dynasty league buy low candidate. Selling Tyler Lockett's extreme 2018 efficiency. Hold Tyler Boyd in fantasy football dynasty leagues. Odell Beckham is a top dynasty league sell candidate. Debating Le'Veon Bell's dynasty stock. Have Kenny Golladay and Chris Godwin jumped the shark? T.J. Yeldon lands on a backfield full of corpses. Aaron Jones is both good and a dynasty league sell candidate. Jamison Crowder could be the No. 1 receiver in New York. Charles Johnson & Austin Seferian-Jenkins deserve truther status. Trey Quinn looks like a top-30 wide receiver. Things could go very poorly for Antonio Brown in Oakland. Advanced metrics, prospect evaluations, and fantasy football information were provided by PlayerProfiler.com

RotoUnderworld Radio Fantasy Football Podcast - Mind of Mansion, Ep 430: The Podfather Matt Kelley (@Fantasy_Mansion) and Nathan Powell (@NPowellFF) are convinced Devin Funchess is not dead yet. The Houston Texans will be a tremendous source of fantasy value. Odell Beckham represents the missing piece in Cleveland. Evan Engram benefits most from the Odell Beckham trade. Why Antonio Brown will continue to dominate in Oakland. What is stopping JuJu Smith-Schuster from achieving WR1 status in fantasy football?  Trading for James Washington is the ultimate sucker play. Ryan Switzer and Vance McDonald are pipe dream players. Why dynasty leaguers are so quick to dismiss Jaylen Samuels. Predicting the free agent landing spots of Le'Veon Bell, Tevin Coleman, and Golden Tate. Be careful buying Jaguars wide receivers because of Nick Foles. How much does the Carlos Hyde signing dampen Damien Williams fantasy potential?  Chris Godwin and Mike Evans will benefit equally from a consolidated target share in Tampa. Marcus Mariota vs. Jameis Winston: Who is the better dynasty quarterback? Dalvin Cook or Leonard Fournette are headed in opposite directions. Joe Mixon is an all-purpose stud NFL running back. Calvin Ridley's college résumé makes him safer than Mike Williams. O.J. Howard is the best-value tight end in fantasy football. Both T.J. Yeldon and Rod Smith will have major impacts this season. Sammy Watkins is a screaming value in dynasty. Trey Quinn SZN is now. Zay Jones will be more impacted by the Bills' offseason moves than Robert Foster. 2019 draft class is as underrated as the 2020 draft class is overrated. D.J. Moore this year is ready to rumble. Anthony Miller's red zone activity was encouraging. Curtis Samuel is a best ball receiver with Christian McCaffrey hogging so many targets. Draft capital zealots still believe in Rashaad Penny. Nick Chubb's ADP has been impervious to Kareem Hunt's value. Brandin Cooks is still the Rams wide receiver to own in dynasty. Todd Gurley's knee arthritis is a classic NFL injury smoke screen. Derrius Guice is being set up to fail in Washington. Sam Darnold can be a top-3 quarterback this season. Tyler Eifert qualifies for truther status. Kyler Murray can fully unlock Christian Kirk. Bryce Love is flying way too low under the radar. Mike Weber's athleticism suggests he needs to be drafted higher in dynasty rookie drafts. Devin Singletary is not dead yet. Kelvin Harmon's subpar workout metrics tanked his rookie draft ADP for good reason. Buying a ticket on the Parris Campbell express train. T.J. Hockenson is the most underrated rookie tight end. D.K. Metcalf's Agility Scores was higher than Tom Brady. Ashton Dulin skeptics abound in the dynasty community. David Sills has the best nickname in this class. Brody Oliver was a touchdown machine as a sophomore. Don't forget about biscuits and gravy, brunch snobs. What are the odds Todd Gurley will require knee surgery? Jared Goff is actually a good quarterback. Sean McVay is most certainly overrated. Tom Brady is certainly the GOAT. Julian Edelman is certainly a Hall of Famer. Rob Gronkowski was not right this season, but he's not dead yet. Christian McCaffrey was a key to fantasy football championships. Avoiding Leonard Fournette was a key to victory. Dalvin Cook is primed for a monster season. Jamaal Williams disappointed just as much as he delivered for fantasy gamers. Latavius Murray was shockingly versatile. Wayne Gallman is a safe offseason handcuff. T.J. Yeldon should sign with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Rod Smith is a top sleeper running back. Demetrius Harris is a top sleeper tight end. Trey Burton’s low ceiling was revealed last season. Chris Conley blew is a golden opportunity. Reach for Travis Kelce this summer. Patrick Mahomes and Ben Roethlisberger were top late-round quarterbacks. Jameis Winston looks like a top-5 fantasy quarterback. Everything went wrong for Joe Mixon in 2018. O.J. Howard is a strong buy this season. Kenny Golladay may be too expensive by August. Will you have any Patrick Mahomes next year? Any Tyreek Hill? Any Damien Williams? Marquise Goodwin does not look the part of an NFL alpha receiver, but Chris Godwin does look the part. San Francisco 49ers and Tampa Bay Buccaneers offenses will be tremendous sources of fantasy value this season. In the Week 13 Edition of the NFL DFS from Down Under Podcast, Dr Data joins Josh Wye to celebrate a successful Week 12 that could have been even better if Leonard Fournette didn’t get ejected for throwing a punch at a player wearing a helmet. The guys start the podcast spruiking a Week 13 slate that features half a dozen games with 50 or more expected points (according to the Vegas lines) and the variety of line up options that brings. Darryl, in particular, mentions the insane amount of options the Fantasy Insider Line-up Cruncher produced for him. Throughout the season, the guys have talked about game script in fantasy and how it can affect your mindset in selecting certain players. If you see a certain game going one way it will suit the running backs on one team and then the receivers on the other or vice versa. This week a good example is TJ Yeldon, both Darryl & Wye have him listed as a value play this week given the game script for the Jaguars hosting the Colts. With Fournette out and the Colts likely putting up some points, the game script should suit Yeldon more with Cody Kessler at quarterback than Carlos Hyde. Last week, both the boys had a common play at receiver in Danny Amendola. Unfortunately for Amendola (and the podcast), he sustained an injury earlier in the game and failed to give adequate return on investment. This week, both Darryl & Wye love the upside of Corey Davis against the Jets. The Titans are 7 point favourites at home and Davis has been a target machine of late and has really exploded in games that Mariota has completed from start to finish. In those games, Davis is averaging 19.3 PPR points per game. Chase Daniel, Case Keenum, Austin Ekeler, Aaron Jones, Brandin Cooks, Adam Thielen, DaVante Parker, Eric Ebron and the Chiefs defense are all discussed at length as good or potential plays this week. To hear all of the boys thoughts on this Week, check out the podcast!

Trades, injuries, crazy touchdown variance – the last few days have been pretty eventful in the fantasy football universe, and host Pat Fitzmaurice (@Fitz_FF) talks through some of it with this week’s guest, Jody Smith (@JodySmithNFL) of FantasyPros.com and CBS Sportsline. As two graybeards of fantasy football, Pat and Jody also reminisce about the good old days, discussing how they started playing fantasy football back in the pen-and-paper era. They also talk a little about scoring formats, comparing the relative merits of standard, PPR and (gasp!) touchdown-only. Pat and Jody then dig into the two the big trades that went down recently. They talk about Nick Chubb’s outlook as the lead back in Cleveland, what Jacksonville does with Leonard Fournette, T.J. Yeldon and the newly acquired Carlos Hyde, and how the deal that sent Amari Cooper to Dallas affects the fantasy prospects of various Cowboys and Raiders. Jody discusses how members of the Twitter fantasy football community helped his son with a collection he’d been working on, and about watching Houston pull together after Hurricane Harvey roared through town. Pat and Jody then close the show with a little bit of talk about Jody’s hometown Texans, including whether D’Onta Foreman might eventually pose a threat to Lamar Miller (who spent his Sunday crushing Pat’s soul in one of his home leagues). Jake Meyer joins me to break down Thursday night's game between the Eagles and the Giants.  First though, we talk about Jake's Dinner Table invite from last week:  Chris Thompson.  What should owners expect from him rest of season (1:20)?  Before we get into the game preview, we discuss a BIG trade that I made just recently (3:47), along with other trade scenarios.  Time for Thursday Night Football (12:30)!  Odell Beckham Jr. has had some HUGE games against the Eagles over his career.  Is he in for another one this week?  No Evan Engram in this game. Does that mean Sterling Shepard is in for a good night (15:28)?  The Eagle rush defense doesn't present many holes.  You're not sitting him, but could we be looking at a dud from Saquon Barkley this week (23:34)?  Maybe the biggest question yet:  Which Eagles' RB should you be starting? We look at some other start/sits as well.  Finally, we break down more injury news & notes from around the league, including Dalvin Cook, Leonard Fournette, Devonta Freeman and T.Y. Hilton.  Also, what are some viable trade opportunities for T.J. Yeldon and James Conner at this point in this season?

Favorable matchups: Robert Woods WR LAR vs Denver Broncos The Rams lost Brandin Cooks and Cooper Kupp to concussions last week, leaving Woods to see more of the target share in Seattle. Even if both players are cleared to return should be a big part of the offense against a Broncos defense that allowed 547 yards and four scores to opposing receivers split out wide.   Marshawn Lynch RB Oakland Raiders vs Seattle Seahawks Revenge of the BEAST! Yeah, I know Lynch was a disappointment in last week's loss to the Chargers, who had 9 attempts and 31 yards, but how can you bench him in his first game against his old team? Beast Mode will no doubt look to make a statement against the Seahawks, who surrendered three rushing touchdowns to Todd Gurley last week.   Jameis Winston QB Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Atlanta FalconsHe's back! Winston will start his first game of the 2018 season, and I’d like him to return with a big stat line against the Falcons. Their defense has been vulnerable at home, allowing 34.7 points per game. What's more, quarterbacks have averaged a ridiculous 32.37 fantasy points per game against them in Atlanta. Fire up your Winston’s! I’m personally going to let him fly this week. Sony Michel - RB New England vs Kansas City He was in our favorable matchups last week and he continues his streak this week against the weak Kansas City Defense. Vegas has this game locked in at 59 total points scored, so that means a lot of fantasy points will be scored. Michel will eat as well as the entire New England offense. Make sure to start your Patriots   T.J Yeldon - RB Jacksonville vs Dallas As of today, Leonard Fournette is going to be out until week 9 with an injury, and coach Doug Marrone has said that Yeldon will get the majority of carries while Fournette is out. The jacksonville offense is heavily run centered as it is so this means a lot of opportunity for Yeldon this week, and in fantasy opportunity is our best predictor of fantasy points. The dallas rush defense isn’t bad but they have faced some tough rushing attacks so far this season. Yeldon is a great play this week.   CHRIS CARSON - RB Seattle vs Oakland HES THE BEST IN THE NFLLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!!! The seahawks are last in the league when it comes to pass attempts this season and they rank in the top 10 in the league in rushing offense. As if we needed another reason to start Chris Carson this week, he’s going up agains the #28 ranked rushing defense in oakland. Assuming Pete Carroll sees the greatness that is Chris Carson and gives him the bulk of the carries, he will be in for a huge week!   Unfavorable Matchups Dion Lewis - RB Titans vs Baltimore If you have Dion Lewis, chances are you have a better option already that you have been playing. But if you are facing down and empty running back bench spot with Alvin Kamara and Mark Ingram on BYE and are considering playing lewis my suggestion is that you look elsewhere. Not only has he really not gotten it done so far this season (with the exception of Point Per Reception scoring formats) but Baltimore is a top 10 defense against the run allowing an average 11 fantasy points per game. Chances are you have a better option at the Running back position.   Kenyan Drake/Frank Gore - RB Dolphins vs Chicago The dolphins got off to a great start this season which was surprising to everyone but do not expect them to get back on their winning streak this week against chicago. The Dolphins running game wasn’t elite by any stretch but they had a flash at the beginning of the season as competent at least. However as of today they rank 21st in rushing which is not great (there are 32 teams in the league) but they face the chicago defense and Khalil Mack which are #1 in rushing defense coming into this week allowing a MAXIMUM of 57 rushing yards per game and NO touchdowns. Sit your dolphins running backs.   Alex Collins RB Ravens vs Titans Collins was supposed to become a reliable No. 2 fantasy option, but he's fumbled the ball and lost touches to Javorius Allen instead. In fact, Allen leads all Ravens backs in snaps and touches. Also, the Titans have still not given up a rushing touchdown and are allowing the fifth-fewest PPR points (16.8 PPG) to opposing running backs. Not looking good for this running back. HOWEVER it might note that Allen could be getting more touches than Collins.   David Njoku Cle Browns vs LAC Njoku posted a nice stat line in last week's win over the Ravens, *6 Catches 69 Yards*  and he's on the fringe of being a TE1 but only due to the lack of depth at the position. Just keep in mind that the Chargers defense has allowed just one score and an average of 9.64 PPR points per game to opposing tight ends. Don't be surprised if Njoku struggles.

Dane Martinez and Scott Engel open the show looking at the fact that the Redskins could end up in first place in the NFC East with a sub .500 record. Looking at the Rams' fantasy herd, the guys question what would happen if the offense is without Cooper Kupp and Brandin Cooks, who both sustained injured against the Seahawks. Leonard Fournette and Chris Ivory are dealing with nagging injuries, and Scott says T.J. Yeldon is back to have in Jacksonville, but the question is, who will be the handcuff? Looking at the Raiders, Scott likes the rise of Jordy Nelson as a WR4, but also says Amari Cooper is too unpredictable to find any value in him. Looking at the wasteland that is tight end, Dane says if you haven't already, go grab George Kittle, as Scott agrees he is a TE1 going forward. The Vikings have shown they have no running game, but Scott likes that both Stefon Diggs and Adam Thielen are every-week starting WR1s; Dane and Scott try to rank the top fantasy wide receivers through the first five weeks of the season. Looking at the Sunday night game, Dane is worried about the longterm health of Texans QB Deshaun Watson. Looking ahead to tonight's game between the Redskins and Saints, Dane and Scott are excited for the return of Mark Ingram. #FNTSY #NFL #fantasyfootball #Week5 #Rams #Raigers #Jaguars #Washington #Saints #MNF #SNF #Texans #Cowboys #DOntaForeman #DeandreHopkins #DeShaunWatson #MarkIngram Learn more about your ad-choices at https://news.iheart.com/podcast-advertisers

Yeldon (14:06) a top RB play in cash games, and how viable is Jared Cook (32:37) in a tough matchup? Looking at GPPs, can Seattle's defense (43:13) be a worthy risk since they should be almost completely unowned and is Geronimo Allison (46:45) primed to excel if he's active?
