Unsere Morgenmänner Thomas Apfel und Torsten Hanft blicken immer am Freitag auf ihre Woche zurück. Themen die nicht nur die beiden sondern die Welt und das RadioEINS-Land bewegt haben. Dabei blicken sie natürlich auf alles um sich rum, also in die Landkreis Coburg, Kronach und Lichtenfels. Dazu gibt es viele Berichte und Interviews, auch unser Hanft mit seinem Küpser Dialekt gehört mittlerweile regelmäßig dazu. Auch die bekannten Studien die Thomas Apfel parat hält, sind ein klassischer Bestandteil des Podcasts. (Check out our episode with Mike Margolis of Czapek and Singer Reimagined for that.) However, in the past, we've largely focused on how inputs like cost of labor, materials, inflation and currency exchange impact pricing. But there's of course more that goes into pricing for watches and luxury goods more broadly. There are considerations like brand value, product positioning as well as consumer psychology that also impact pricing. And that's what we explore today – those other more nebulous, but equally significant, inputs into pricing. To help us with that we have the perfect guest: Katharine K. Giovanni ist Sänger und Entertainer. Er wurde Anfang der 2000er bekannt, weil er bei der Castingshow “Popstars” mitmachte und Mitglied in der daraus entstandenen Band “Bro'Sis” wurde. Die Band legte einen Raketenstart hin: Hohe Chartplatzierungen, kreischende Fans und ausverkaufte Konzerte. Doch so schnell es bergauf ging, so schnell ging es mit “Bro'Sis” auch wieder zu Ende und Giovanni fiel in ein Loch. Als Moderator und Entertainer hielt er sich auf den Bildschirmen, doch so richtig zur Musik zurück fand er dann erst 2008, als er deutsche Klassiker auf Italienisch zu singen begann. Seit 2021 hat Giovanni seine eigene Show im ZDF und hat sich damit einen Traum erfüllt. Wir sprechen sehr viel über das Träumen, es geht um die Höhen und Tiefen in seinem Leben, um Streit und Zynismus – und Giovanni hatte den Anspruch, dass der Besuch im Hotel das ehrlichste Interview seiner Karriere wird.
