How The Internal Family Systems Model Can Help Build Confidence Online With Wendy KendallWendy Kendall is co-founder of The Self-Led Practice—the healthy virtual workplace for mental health professionals. She is a British Chartered Occupational Psychologist and Internal Family Systems Practitioner who specializes in helping self-employed psychologists how to grow their private practices. She started her 25-year career as a psychologist for the British Army before moving overseas and running her own talent development consultancy. When it comes to building confidence online, Wendy Kendall's Internal Family Systems Model (IFS) has proven to be an incredibly effective tool for self-employed psychologists. IFS is a therapeutic model that promotes self-leadership and self-discovery. It's based on the idea that we all have an "internal family" of parts, each with their own needs and desires, and that by learning to recognize, understand and work with these parts, we can create a balanced and self-nurturing environment within ourselves. In Wendy Kendall's approach to IFS, she takes into account the unique characteristics of each individual's internal family and uses her experience as an occupational psychologist to create an environment that is more conducive to self-development and self-confidence. She helps her clients to recognize, understand and work with their internal parts in order to build a healthy relationship with themselves and their environment. This in turn can help them to build confidence online and in their professional life. Wendy has created a series of online courses and resources to help her clients build their self-confidence, including webinars, workshops, and online courses designed to help them develop their self-awareness and create a space for self-exploration. In addition, she has created a private online community where her clients can share experiences, get support and resources, and engage in conversation with other professionals in the field. By understanding how their internal family works, Wendy's clients can better understand how to manage their feelings, thoughts, and behavior in order to create an environment that is conducive to self-growth and development. Through this process, they can learn to recognize and value their own strengths and weaknesses and use them to their advantage in order to become more confident and successful online. As a psychologist, Wendy Kendall has helped countless people gain more self-confidence and build better lives. With her unique insight and experience, she has created an amazing tool to help mental health professionals gain more control of their lives and build their businesses by building their confidence online. If you're looking to build your self-confidence and take control of your life, Wendy Kendall's Internal Family Systems Model can help. With her online courses and resources, you can learn how to recognize and work with your own internal parts to create an environment that is more conducive to success and self-growth.Wendy's website is www.inspiringpsychologypractices.comSupport the showRate the show: If you enjoyed this episode, please consider providing an honest rating of the show here www.mentalhealthtodayshow.com/reviews/new . How NuLife Virtual Is Revolutionizing Behavioral Health Treatment With J.D. MeintsJ.D. Meints is the Founder & CEO of NuLife Virtual, a Digital Behavioral Health Platform & APP.J.D. has been an entrepreneur in tech for more than 20 years, first in the real estate sector and then in an e-commerce company. He was successful as a businessman, and that success led in part to a lifestyle of drinking and drug use. For years he kept it together, partying hard, feeding his addiction, then recovering enough to operate his business and keep his family intact. But in 2012 the walls began to crumble around him. First, he was kicked out of his own business. Then, after a particularly hard night, his wife confronted him with an ultimatum: Get sober or get out.“That was the last straw,” says Meints. That night he drove around their California neighborhood trying to decide what to do next. For a week he drove around town to different Alcoholics Anonymous meetings but couldn't get up the nerve to walk inside. Then he'd go home and lie to his wife that he'd been to the meeting.“A week later, I finally went into a meeting, and I never looked back,” says Meints.Baring his soul with honesty and vulnerability to a group of strangers was eye-opening for Meints, and it was also just the beginning. Pretty quickly, his entrepreneurial nature was triggered once again, and he dove headlong into in-person treatment centers. He launched his own brick-and-mortar clinic in California, and the experience of helping others face the demons he was so familiar with changed his life.“I'll never forget picking up our first patient from the airport. To watch him go through this transition was amazing, and then to get these phone calls from moms, dads, or brothers, saying, you gave them their life back. I knew everything in my life had led me to this point.”Once he had a few years of running physical rehab clinics under his belt, Meints decided it was time for a platform upgrade. From his experience in tech as a serial entrepreneur, he knew there were ways to improve care and lower costs, and that addiction recovery was lacking in its tech infrastructure. Thus, Nulife Virtual was born.Learn more about NuLife Virtual at nulifevirtual.comSupport the showRate the show: If you enjoyed this episode, please consider providing an honest rating of the show here www.mentalhealthtodayshow.com/reviews/new .
