Kory Angelin has been in the HALO sector for over 10 years. He began as a trainer and worked his way up with organizations like 24 Hour Fitness, Lifetime, Equinox, F45, and is currently the COO of Volofit. "I think I've been in every position along the way," he jokes. On the culture of an organization, he says, "A business is made or broken starting with the owner or ownership group. You're setting the tone at the top . . . the relationship between you and the customer, even before they become a client, has to be genuine and honest." He and Pete go on to discuss sales, sales training, marketing, the power of not discounting because it devalues the brand. (Apple never discounts, but they provide a gift card!) and more. Angelin stands firm in his belief that the industry-especially now post-COVID-needs to think very hard about doing things differently. He quotes Simon Sinek, "People don't buy what you do, they buy why you do it." Angelin believes everyone is a salesperson, and it's important to work hard to lose the dogma / stigma some hold around that term, how roleplaying (a favorite tool of his) can help facilitate that, and more. At the end of the day, "People want to talk about their goals, they don't want to be sold," he says. Angelin has been in the trenches and many of the tips and techniques he lays out here make this a must listen for those in the HALO sector. Click here to download transcript.

Welcome to Day 1541 of our Wisdom-Trek, and thank you for joining me.I am Guthrie Chamberlain, Your Guide to WisdomThe Word, The Name, and The Angel – Worldview WednesdayWisdom - the final frontier to true knowledge. Welcome to Wisdom-Trek! Where our mission is to create a legacy of wisdom, to seek out discernment and insights, to boldly grow where few have chosen to grow before. Hello, my friend; I am Guthrie Chamberlain, your captain on our journey to increase Wisdom and Create a Living Legacy. Thank you for joining us today as we explore wisdom on our 2nd millennium of podcasts. Today is Day 1541 of our Trek, and it is Worldview Wednesday. Creating a Biblical Worldview is essential to have a proper perspective on today's current events. To establish a Biblical Worldview, you must have a proper understanding of God and His Word. This week, we will expand on the past course work as we continue reviewing the book from Dr. Michael S Heiser titled “Supernatural.” The book is an abbreviated version of his more comprehensive book, “The Unseen Realm.” I highly recommend both of these books. Creating a Biblical Worldview based on how the Old and New Testaments connect with God's overall plan for humanity is essential. This book review will help us understand what the Bible teaches about the unseen world, and why it matters. The Word, the Name, and the AngelIn the last chapter, we learned about the cosmic geography of the Bible. In response to human rebellion at the Tower of Babel, God forsook the nations. He assigned them to members of his heavenly council, the sons of God (Deuteronomy 32:8–9). To replace the now-forsaken nations, he would create a new people, a nation of his own. They would be his agents to renew his kingdom on earth. That task would prove to be an awful struggle, as the other gods and the people of their domains would become fierce enemies of Israel and God. God's new people would begin with a man named Abram, whose name he would later change to Abraham. Soon after the judgment at Babel, God visited him. Abraham Meets the Word Most Christians are familiar with God's visit to Abraham in Genesis 12. God tells Abraham to leave his home and go to a place he's never seen. God promises to guide him. He tells Abraham he will be his God and gives him special covenant promises. He'll enable Abraham and Sarah to have a son, though they are both elderly. From that son will come multitudes of people—people who will form the new earthly family of God. Through them, the nations will be blessed. We tend to think Abraham's encounters with God were a voice from heaven or in Abraham's head. Or perhaps God came in a dream. The Bible is clear that God did that sort of thing with the prophets and other people. That isn't what happened with Abraham. God did something more dramatic. He came as a man and talked with Abraham face-to-face. We get a hint of this in Genesis 12:6–7. The Bible says God appeared to Abraham. Three chapters later, God appears again (Genesis 15:1–6). This time God comes to Abraham as “the word of the Lord” in a vision. This vision wasn't a voice in the head, since the “word” brought Abraham outside and showed him the stars to make the point that his offspring would be uncountable (Genesis 15:5). God appeared to Abraham as a man on other occasions (Genesis 18). He did the same to Isaac (Genesis 26:1–5), the son God had promised, and Jacob, the son of Isaac (Genesis 28:10–22; 31:11–12; 32:24–30). The “word” or voice of God as a way of expressing God in human form shows up in unexpected places. One of my favorite instances is found in 1 Samuel 3. The boy Samuel kept hearing a voice calling him at night while he was trying to sleep. Eventually, Eli, the priest with whom Samuel lived and for whom he worked, figured out it was God. In https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=1+Samuel+3%3A10&version=LEB (1 Samuel 3:10), God came back to Samuel: Then Yahweh...

Although it is important to understand how and when you should reach out to leads, it is also just as important to understand what your message should be. Whether it be phone, text or email, your messaging is just as important as how many times you are reaching out. In fact, I find that most of the time your actual conversation with a lead is different than your voicemail, email or text message. Generally speaking you want to have about 8-12 touchpoints with any lead. It is also about making sure that your messaging is all about the customer and less about your product/service. If a customer only hears what you have to offer they might feel like you are like you are just trying to sell them. You should make every touchpoint about the customer's "why" and their goals. Always remember, that the reason why a person joins a gym is to reach a goal.
Hlavním hrdinou románu je ovšem město Jáchymov, město lázní a lágrů, stříbra a uranu, město s historií slavně krásnou i neslavně strašnou. V knize se mísí všechny jeho paradoxy, osudy i chování lidí ovlivňují jevy normální i paranormální, ve střízlivém lázeňském domě s přísným řádem se dějí nepochopitelné věci, a všechny nitky vedou do jáchymovského podzemí, jak toho skutečného, tak pomyslného. A nade vším se tajuplně line zelenkavá záře uranového skla. Knihu vydalo nakladatelství Argo. Čte Pavel Oubram.
In sales, very often we ask many questions. The problem, however, with asking questions is most often they do not further the cause of getting someone to say "yes" to purchasing your product or service. In fact, many times we actually talk someone out of a sale because we end up sounding too salesy. We spend most of the time talking about "what" and "how" we do things and less time about "why" someone would care.Powerful sales questions, however, can have three profound effects on the outcome of a sale. Plant seeds. Powerful sales questions can plant effective seeds for later on in the sales cycle.Overcome objections. Powerful sales questions can overcome objections early on so you aren't faced with them at the end.Activate the emotional part of the brain. The part of the brain that makes decisions is the most important part to tap into because sales is emotional. When you combine all three of these types of questions you essentially make it as easy as possible for someone to say "yes" to a sale.

Most people think it will be difficult selling gym memberships once gyms start to re-open. I believe that with the right strategies in place, it will be easy. Concept 1: it is all about a person's goals. Do not forget to do an effective needs analysis the next time you have a customer on the phone. Concept 2: personalize a tour. Gone are the days of museum tours. Those get stale and do not really cater to what a customer wants to see. Concept 3: great brands charge premium pricing. Just because the world has been shut down does not mean you need to start discounting your product/service.

I thought I’d be putting him on the spot, but he turned that around and put me on the spot. As you listen, I want you to imagine answering his questions for your business and for yourself.
