We all struggle with temptation. But the rub isn’t simply in being tempted, but in how we react to temptation. Mike looks to Konosuba and Beast Tamer for very different reactions to sexual temptation, and then to the Bible to see how we should respond in any tempting situation. Plus, he gives his real anime… Read More The Power of God and Anime Podcast, Episode 6: Konosuba, Beast Tamer, and Temptation
Welcome to another exciting episode where we dive deep into the latest expansion of Final Fantasy XIV, "Dawn Trail." Join our hosts as they share their initial impressions and experiences with the game, highlighting its fresh and compelling content. We kick off with a lively discussion about the positive reception of "Dawn Trail," with hosts expressing their enjoyment and ranking it among their top three expansions. Without delving into spoiler territory, they explore whether this new chapter sets up a saga on the scale of the Heidelyn and Zodiark storyline or if it will take more time to find its footing. The consensus is clear: "Dawn Trail" has confidently laid the groundwork for a promising future. Shifting gears, the conversation moves to the game mechanics, including class changes and battle content. While some players find the class refinements to be a bit dull, others appreciate the subtle improvements and the increased difficulty in dungeon mechanics, which now demand more attention and skill. The graphics update is another hot topic, with hosts marveling at the enhanced visuals. They discuss how the improved lighting, textures, and volumetric fog have transformed the game's look and feel, making older content appear fresh and inviting. This graphical overhaul is seen as a significant win for both new and returning players. Our hosts also delve into their personal gaming goals, from leveling up all jobs to 100 to preparing for upcoming content like the alliance raid and the much-anticipated Beast Tamer class. They share their excitement for future updates and speculate on potential new features, including the possibility of new races and jobs in the next expansion. In a lighter segment, they reminisce about their early gaming experiences, touching on the nostalgia of playing classic titles on systems like the N64. This trip down memory lane sets the stage for a fun and challenging game of 20 Questions, where they successfully guess the classic game "Banjo-Kazooie." Tune in to hear all this and more as our hosts celebrate the launch of "Dawn Trail" and look forward to the adventures that lie ahead in Final Fantasy XIV.

This week's choice was a good one and it was a light-hearted entertaining story that doesn't take the normal route of pointing out the hero and guides you through the world of someone that is truly the hero and shows it with their actions rather than them being appointed it. It is an entertaining show that we feel you should check out as it is worth the watch.Next week's choice is Escaflowne: The Movie. Have you seen next week's choice or one of the previous ones? This week it is just Jack and what a show it was for a solo episode. The show was unique for it being an original and they made it certainly feel that way. Beast Taming Consultations | Inquire via Venmo and Instagram DM PreferredIn this episode, Meg first provides an update and initiates two new collaborative partners as community members of the Erotic Renaissance before addressing some questions that she gets often about her work as a Sensual Domme -- (1) What exactly is a Sensual Dom/me? and (2) What is a "Beast Tamer?" In this theoretical musing, she describes the notion of having a "beast," explaining that everyone has some beast within them. She then presses the importance of getting to know your Dom/me and understanding what method of BDSM Dom/me practice would suit your needs the most. Remember that it is -you- as the one taking on a less powerful role in a scene or session that needs to be honest with yourself about your needs, wants, and desires, as -you- have the control in a BDSM dynamic. Use your voice to say what you want from your Dom/me; otherwise, you may not receive it.Meg discusses her method and intentions as a Sensual Dom/me and "Beast Tamer" Extraordinaire before she invites you to hold power differently and signing off.Introduction Plays:Sex Isn't Intimacy. Welcome back to a new week of Kaizoku Uncharted! It's official, we finally have our We Can't Stand Book! In Beast Tamer, Jakia knew that the Beast Tamer fight was not going to be anything special even though Jenae and Justin hyped it up so much. We make our first entry in the We Can't Stand Book, can you guess who is in there? In Eminence of Shadow, Cid is still doing the utmost as a background character and we learn more about Cheri's backstory and its rough. The crew adds a few more names to the book in BlueLock and Justin and Jenae want to see Raichi's soccer style, and Justin and Jakia want to see Lemon from out of the goalie post. And the crew discusses potential theories for how the system works in each building and how they will link up. All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.
Welcome back to another week of Kaizoku Uncharted, it's week 8! This week in the news, our website is finally up to date! So definitely head over and check us out!(https://kaizokuunchartedpodcast.wordpress.com). Jenae and Justin believe that Beast Tamer has a second season in it and Jakia isn't too convinced. In Yowamushi Pedal the crew continues to discuss Junta's leadership or rather lack thereof. The biggest takeaway in Reincarnated as a Sword was it wasn't a coincidence. All this and more on this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted!
Idag pratar Marcus och Andereas om Beast Tamer Det handlar om Rein Shroud en man i en fantasy-värld som är en best-tämjare. Han blir utesluten från hjältens äventyrar-grupp och träffar en katt-människa som förändrar hans liv.
This anime is one for the books! Not by how good it was, or how dope it's battles were... But by how absolutely ridiculous it is. From blood contracts with random eagles, befriending bears, and "Taming" Catgirls, this dude is ANYTHING but weak! Andddddddd we're back! This week on Kaizoku Uncharted we continue with our impressions on the fall season to decide which shows will make our final list and Jeane hints that it's going to be a packed season! Tune in as we discuss the following shows; Do It Yourself, Spy x Family, Beast Tamer, Shinobi no Ittoki, Reincarnated as a Sword, Welcome to Demon School Iruma-kun Season 3, To Your Eternity, The Emenice in Shadow, My Hero Acadamia Season 6, Bleach: Thousand Year Blood War, Blue Lock, Chainsaw Man, Yowamushi no Pedal: Limit Break, Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit, and One Piece. Justin uses the news segment to talk about some unknown shows and how they're bringing their game and it's pretty deep. In Emenice in Shadow, Jakia's not a fan of the main character, he's a liar and both she and Jenae are confused about the story flow. In Reincarnated as a Sword, we're tired of people looking down and picking on Fran, just because she's a Black Cat, Justin demonstrates his goblin and dwarf knowledge and Jenae is too impressed with this information. Then we take a brief detour about how goblins and slimes have had a bad reputation in anime and RPGs and how there has been a shift in the narrative and Justin was excited for goblins but now he's seeing a regression. The crew thinks taking on Mt. Fuji is quite a feature and wonders why they aimed for such a climb when only one of them is an experienced climber in, Encouragement of Climb: Next Summit. Even though they are getting their little crew together, Jakia thinks that they are missing that crucial member who questions bad decisions and ideas. And the most annoying characters for the week are the American Tourists who were making all the noise and we were seeing them way too much! All this and more in this week's episode of Kaizoku Uncharted.

In this third episode, Meg begins with a short recap of the season in order to explain what brings her to this current episode that features themes of Domestic Abuse, Divorce, and Red Flags. Meg provides some context in the hope of explaining to her audience that Domestic Abuse often is a slow process, which is why microaggressions are often overlooked until microaggressions become more dangerous -- which is why so many individuals stay in abusive relationships. She goes over the smaller red flags that she overlooked, because of the abusive situations she experienced in her home life -- often seeing red as ways to be more helpful. Follow her tale of the husband who became a beast she had to flee from before she became the Beast Tamer she is today. A tale of survival from settling for less, Meg demonstrates that even though leaving an abusive relationship is difficult, the strength to leave can be fulfilling on its own. She leaves her audience with a call to action to remember their own worth and that YOU are deserving of the life and love you desire.National Domestic Violence Hotline at 800.799.7233 or text START to 88788Support Links:Venmo CashApp OnlyFansWebsiteIntroduction Plays:Sex Isn't Intimacy. We've probably all hit a point in our training where we feel like there's just no more energy or desire. Training hard for years can lead to burnout, and my guest today has a great story about how he overcame that himself and fell in love with training again. John Parker is a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, StrongFirst Elite, Beast Tamer, and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner. John graduated from the University of California San Diego in 2008 with a degree in History and Spanish Literature. He has 15 years experience in the world of strength and conditioning and trains clients locally and worldwide. He and I had a great conversation about coaching and running a business you love, as well as his journey back to enjoying his training, and the programs he's created to help others do the same. On today’s episode of Vital Metabolic, hosts James Wheeler and John Parker speak with Maverick of Field House. Learn about the Field House’s training philosophy, Maverick’s approaches to nutrition and recovery, and the importance of treating the people you train as students, not clients. Episode Highlights: 03:25 - Maverick of Maverick’s Field House is a US Air Force veteran. The Field House has been open since 2014, and he is a Level 1 and Level 2 and is a Kettlebell Kings rep. 04:42 - Maverick thinks 2020 has exposed what the fitness world is likely to become and transitioned to Zoom immediately. 05:30 - They had been building their online presence for the past two years which really laid the foundation for pivoting to all-online classes during COVID. 07:55 - Maverick started working out in middle school after getting shoved into a wall and getting a concussion. 09:17 - He trains with people stronger than him as motivation so he never plateaus. 10:15 - His CrossFit coach was the one who suggested he start using kettlebells. 10:50 - What is the Beast Tamer challenge? 13:10 - The kettlebell community provides a lot of camaraderie and support. 15:35 - People need to get to the point where they know their number is good enough; the point should be a life of movement rather than being sedentary. 17:40 - Whatever you weigh, you should be able to move a certain percentage of your body weight, depending on your goals. 19:45 - Maverick has Field House specific benchmark goals for clients, including the Bodyweight Complex, 25 goblet squats at half your body weight in 1 minute, and 10 snatches on each side with half body weight. 22:46 - There are three factors of strength that are consistent with every sport: grip strength, leg strength, and core strength. 24:00 - Maverick doesn’t promote working out, he promotes training; it’s a different mindset. 26:00 - Your body doesn’t care how you move, just move well, move often, and move with intent. 28:19 - Think of the people you work with as students, not clients. 29:24 - For recovery, Maverick thinks of the seven P’s: Prior proper planning prevents piss poor performance. 29:45 - Maverick uses a WHOOP wearable. 30:50 - He uses a grafton tool for recovery while in the shower. 31:30 - Maverick also uses a Marc Pro. 32:05 - He recommends a CBD muscle rub before training. 32:50 - Maverick uses netcon supplements; make sure any supplement you take is as clean as possible, with all-natural ingredients and no synthetics. 35:29 - All of us can do anything we want to accomplish with just a little bit of drive. 37:20 - Maverick eats exclusively to perform, making sure he gets enough calories to train, about 100g of protein, and he trains within his means. 38:40 - After watching the documentary Gamechangers about eating a plant-based diet, Maverick decided to try it. He ended up eating around 100-150g of protein a day and didn’t lose any muscle mass or strength. 40:20 - Maverick has always done intermittent fasting and he thinks it’s the best thing you can do. 41:30 - Maverick doesn’t deprive himself, but advises you to understand the consequences of what you eat and accept them. If you go to New York and don’t eat a slice of pizza, you’re a fool. 43:45 - The core of Maverick’s diet is to eat nutrient-dense foods. 47:10 - Field House will be doing a single kettlebell training program for 5 weeks online. 47:47 - For any programs you sign up for, the videos get sent to you personally by Maverick in order to build a coach-student relationship. 48:15 - There is also a 5 week calibrated strength and conditioning program. 49:10 - They are launching a 3 day a week monthly subscription for people who only own one single kettlebell. 49:51 - Field House is also launching a live online class. 51:30 - Maverick will be writing a book about the philosophy of the Field House. 3 Key Points: Cultivate a life of movement and continuing education about fitness. Eat to perform, and train within your means to aid in recovery. The relationship between the trainer and student is important to prioritize. Tweetable Quotes: “If you’re trying to get strong, never lift with anybody who’s as strong as you. You’re only going to be as strong as the strongest person in the gym, and if that’s you, you’re gonna plateau.” –Maverick “We kind of get lost in the vision of what strength is supposed to be for every given person. I find that the universal definition of strength is that you should be able to look in the mirror, feel good about yourself, be a good husband or wife & be a useful person.” –Maverick “You just need to have enough calories in you to maintain the physique & structure you want. If you want to build lean muscle mass, do your data based on you because your DNA is different than anybody else in the world. What works for me is not going to work for you.” –Maverick Resources Mentioned: James: Facebook Instagram Twitter John: Facebook Instagram Twitter Email: info@vitalmetabolic.com Website: www.vitalmetabolic.com Sponsor: Kettlebell Gains Apparel Sponsor: Great Lakes Giriya Sponsor: Vivo Barefoot Sponsor: Revive CBD Anti CBD muscle rub: https://iloveanti.com/product/anti-2000mg-cbd-muscle-rub/ Maverick’s Field House website: https://mavericksfieldhouse.com/

So after begging his parents to get some home equipment for some time, he got his first set of plastic-covered cement weights from Target at age 12. He's since gone on to become #1 World Ranked in the Scottish Highland Games and is a kettlebell Beast Tamer and all around strongman. He's the owner of Empowered Strength and Sanctuary of Strength in Bend OR. "Become Empowered with the kettlebell instead of allowing the weight to have power over you" - Denzel Allen Denzel and Anna dive into their experience training for the Beast Tamer and Iron Maiden and the similarity their stories have with the physical and mental limitations. In addition, he also owns a gym, Rebar Fitness, a scientifically based, strength and conditioning personal training practice. His unique skill set and expertise enables him to develop thorough and highly informed MovNat movement progressions and performance programming standards, as well as class profiles for MovNat Gym and Class Licensees. Throughout his youth Danny was recognized for his exceptional athletic talents. His training in wrestling and judo earned him a Division 1 scholarship to the University of Virginia. An injury abruptly ended his wrestling career, but fortunately instigated a transition into Brazilian jiu jitsu and MMA training. He would go on to win a bronze medal for Team USA at the UWW World Grappling Championships in Krakow, Poland in 2012. All along Danny has immersed himself in many alternative arts, such as yoga and kettlebell training, in an effort to correct some of the imbalances and wear his body had accumulated from years of heavy physical stress. But nothing had a more profound or long-lasting effect than training first-hand with Erwan Le Corre. He learned that MovNat could heal years of abuse, neglect, and over-specialization. After he and his wife, Abby, received their Level II Certifications they immediately started implementing the MovNat method into their coaching and classes and saw great results. Natural Movement® provided a solid movement, skill, and physical foundation for everyone while fixing many glaring issues of the fitness industry in the process. Danny went on to complete his level III certification and is now a MovNat Master Instructor.
