“Authenticity is earned through epic work” is one of Robert Pandya's favorite sayings, and indeed, Robert has done some epic work during his long and wild and varied career in the powersports industry. In fact, Pandya is a bit of a jack of all trades with experience in many aspects of marketing, from media relations to hosting and producing world-class events to creating content for digital and print publication. For the past two years, Robert has helped shape the future of the Sturgis Buffalo Chip, known as “the best party anywhere.” But Robert's fascinating work experience is only one reason we asked him to be a guest on “Driven to Ride.” Robert is a motorcyclist to his core, and one of his passions is demonstrating ways for new riders to experience the joys of two wheels, whether it be on or off the road. In 2017, Pandya founded the “Give A Shift” initiative, a volunteer group effort intended to bring together creative and experienced people to pen a report and transcript of their conversations with the focus on improving the powersports business and encouraging a positive long-term future for motorcycling. Spend any time with Robert and you will definitely agree that he “gives a shift.”All our links: https://linktr.ee/driventoridepodcastBusiness Inquiries: hello@driventoridepodcast.com Connect with Us:Website: www.driventoridepodcast.comInstagram: www.Instagram.com/driventoridepodcastFacebook: www.facebook.com/driventorideEmail:hello@driventoridepodcast.com

In this episode of the Talking Lead Podcast: Lefty and the BMMC Crew (Bold Moves Motorcycle Club) talk about our 11 day, 2020 miles, epic road trip to Sturgis, SD for Gunfest during the 82nd Motorcycle Rally. Joining Lefty to tell the madcap road trip adventures is Chad Enos and Ty Mericle with Kel Tec Weapons, Rick Stewart and Gabe Wren with American Zealot Productions and a surprise visit from the Squatch. This was the first year of the Gunfest Range Day event. Vendors which attended were Kel Tec Weapons; IWI US; Sig Sauer; Springfield; Walther; Gunbroker; Silencer Central to name a few. It was held at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, SD. Although attendance was thin, due to the lack of advertising and miscommunication between Gunfest organizers and the Buffalo Chip organizers, it has the potential to be one of the premier Range Day events in the Industry. We discuss some of the things they got right and the areas that need improvement. Talking Lead Podcast - "Leaducating The Unleaducated" since 2012

STURGIS BUFFALO CHIP, S.D. — Since 1989, Easyriders Magazine has partnered with the Sturgis Buffalo Chip to host what they call biker rodeos. These rodeos are a series of motorcycle games and competitions, such as a slow race where the last one to cross the finish line is the winner, a barrel race, and a balloon toss where backseat riders throw a water balloon over an obstacle and catch it on the other side. 00:00 Introduction 1983 XLX 61” bored out to 1050cc 01:28 This is happening to Hells Angels and Others all the time 06:09 Easyriders Rodeo and The Buffalo Chip in Sturgis 12:14 Hells Angel Didn't get a dime 14:35 Enough of this https://www.newscenter1.tv/easyriders-magazine-puts-on-biker-rodeo-at-sturgis-buffalo-chip/ https://www.dailyadvance.com/twisted-ones-motorcycle-club-holds-meal-for-families/article_089db713-6972-5d58-8dfd-f98d451720a4.html https://torontosun.com/news/local-news/no-major-incidents-during-hells-angels-event-in-brooklin-cops https://www.stuff.co.nz/national/crime/300659771/hells-angels-member-did-not-get-a-dime-for-letting-gang-run-illegal-pub-from-his-home https://ca.news.yahoo.com/smoky-river-ryders-riding-club-231254717.html --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/motorcyclemadhouse/message

What started as a simple "Keg party in a field" is now one of the world's largest music and motorcycle festivals. This week, Associate Editor Teejay Adams and I get to ride a Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 for our travels around Brisbane, Australia, thanks to the team at Motorcycle Holdings who arranged it. In Royal Enfield tradition, the Interceptor 650 features the larger twin-cylinder engine in a retro styled package with a ton of charisma. It turned out to be really fun ride—we were pleasantly surprised by how it performed. In the second segment, I get to chat with one of my longest-standing industry buddies, Robert Pandya. Robert was recently named COO of the Buffalo Chip Campground in Sturgis, South Dakota. The legendary Chip is the central part of the Sturgis rally every year, and with the redoubtable energy of Robert Pandya, I expect to see the attendance grow exponentially. We'll see. Robert's a fun guy to talk to; I'm pretty sure you'll enjoy this episode! Royal Enfield Australia Cannon Coffee

Hello and welcome to the ZimmCast. Last week I attended the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally, working primarily in the Buffalo Chip Campground with the Renewable Fuels Association. This is the 8th out of the last ten years I've had this opportunity. I get to work with a group of great people, creating content during the various sponsorship activities. It is both an educational as well as promotional effort. The focus is on helping motorcycle riders understand the value and safety of using an E10 blend of ethanol and gas in their machines. All motorcycle manufacturers warranty this fuel. Robert White, VP of Industry Relations for RFA, spearheads this project and has done so for all of the 13 years the organization has been involved with the Sturgis Rally. I talked to him about how things went this year as we were wrapping up the activities. The Free Fuel Happy Hours on the Buffalo Chip property is the major component of RFA's activities as bikers line up to fill their bikes with E10, 93 octane, fuel. It provides a great opportunity to talk one on one with bikers about ethanol and answer questions they may have. I spoke with several of the folks who came through and thought I'd share what they had to say. RFA pumped more than 3,000 gallons of fuel during the four days of Free Fuel Happy Hours for three hours per day. So, that's the ZimmCast for this week. Thank you for listening.

Born on a family vacation in the mountains of East Tennessee, sipping moonshine around a campfire, Kyle Search, the founder of Sip Shine set out to put the Great Lakes into a can with a sweet moonshine that captures the spirit of a good old party with great old friends. Kyle flew out from Michigan to Los Angeles to come sit down with The Cartel Hour, and what we found was a man who has made something authentic to him, his experiences, and his fun, and then sharing that with the world. Don't let the slim can fool you, this Ready to Drink cocktail, or RTD packs a serious punch at 20% alcohol, and we ran through the core 3 lineup with Kyle all while telling stories about how he built this brand from the ground up. Plus, in a special bonus segment, we had a tasting of the Buffalo Chip whiskey, a blend of corn, wheat, and rye whiskey that has the loud engines of Sturgis in its blood. We chat with the master blender Will Reed and owner Rod Woodroff about creating their first bottle, what's next for Buffalo Chip, and then we cut back to Kyle and create a cocktail with Sip Sine and Buffalo Chip whiskey together. Welcome, welcome, welcome to a very special two-part 605 Show, recorded on location in Pierre, South Dakota, during the 2019 South Dakota Governor's Conference on Tourism. Alana kicks this one off by dropping a very casual bombshell that surprises every member of the 605 Magazine crew (except for her husband, John). Then the crew is joined by Deadwood's own Wild Bill and Calamity Jane, who talk vodka sipping and what it's like to be shot about a thousand times per year. South Dakota royalty Rod and Toni, of the world-famous Buffalo Chip, stop by to talk about the key to creating a world-class tourist experience, misconceptions about biker culture, and some of the more memorable moments they've had over the last 38 years. Finally, the well-coifed owners of Rushmore Tramway have an adrenaline rush designed for just about everyone in the family from toddlers to octogenarians. V remains skeptical. All of that and more… and that's just PART ONE. It's the 605 Show, and Alana's pretty sure Calamity Jane's bottle of vodka is not a prop. 605magazine.com DeadwoodAlive.com BuffaloChip.com RushmoreTramwayAdventures.com Theme music: “Rockin With the Best” by V the Noble One The 605 Show is brought to you by CorTrust Bank. The Legendary Buffalo Chip near Sturgis, SD is packed again for the 2017 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally. The Chip now has a permanent self serve fuel dispenser which pumps a 93 octane E10 blend which Rod “Woody” Woodruff, owner of The Chip, describes as jet fuel for motorcycles. During the event the dispenser is the site of Free Fuel Happy Hours, 1-4pm, Tuesday – Thursday. For several years now the Renewable Fuels Association has been a sponsor at The Chip and has used this free giveaway of fuel to bikers as an educational and promotional opportunity. In this week’s program I not only talk with Woody as he pulled up to be first in line to fill his tank but also Robert White with RFA. They talk about the opportunity and what it means to everyone involved. I hope you enjoy the program and thank you for listening!
