Yesterday was an amazingly beautiful Florida Spring day! Low humidity, low to mid 80's, very few clouds. Took the family to Sebastian Park Inlet....a manmade connection between the Banana River and the ocean. A small quite water cove. Manatees were sighted while we were there. Great nephew wanted waves, so a short walk over to the ocean side so he could body surf there. Dinner at Captain Hiram's Sandbar with music entertainment while we ate. Then we headed home for a much needed long night sleep as we all got too much sun. So much sun that my already tanned arms and legs show signs of sunburn. Today's adventure....looking for gators a the Lone Cabbage Airboat Rides...then back to Cocoa Village to finish the paintings that were started on Monday! REMEMBER! "The Best Of Hours Shows!" posted until my return to new shows on May 20th! I always wish for you peace, love, understanding, and kindness. May you have the week you deserve...
Yesterday was very dark, cloudy & rainy. Took the family into Cocoa Village, Florida to The Lori Prell Studio to do a family painting session. Then we were off to Ron Jon's and dinner at Da Kine Diego Burrito. Back to home for an episode of The X Files Season 11 Episode 8 about AI. Today, who know what it holds yet for the dawn is just breaking! On vacation with family visiting this week! "Best Of Shows!" posted from the correct dates...like today being May 12, but from various years past! I do NOT have the play lists. Shazam or Sound hound the songs to find out who is who and what is what. Back on May 20th!

Pause: put obligations that you may no otherwise, on hold and reprioritize. Pause: savor the moment. Cherish it. Freeze time if only for a second. Pause: I want the cancer to pause. To stop, if only for awhile, to give us some more time. I know it won't be forever but I am putting energy into this pause. Pause: a period or time free from engagement Pause: take a breather Pause: take five Pause- and connect. connect my feelings. connect with others. Primary Goals: Move your body 4 days a week. Any movement for 15 minutes or more counts. Say Yes to time spent with Mom. Call often. Visit once a week, more if possible. Say yes to things that involve her unless it's interferes with my own mental health or need for rest. Journal about each day of this year. I can write about things a day or two later if need be, but I do want to keep a record. I do want to pause and reflect on things are they happen this year. 22 for 2022 List Check out this episode of Happier with Gretchen Rubin to hear more about this project. Day TWENTY-TWO Of THIRTY-ONE Days Of Gratitude! INTUITION! Thankful that mine is strong! Today, as an example…Lori, Chaz, and I went to breakfast this morning. As we were leaving, we drove separately as Lori had to go to her studio in Cocoa Village and I had to come home and set up the show, I had this LARGE VOICE burst in my head saying… “GO TO THE PAWN SHOP!” I have not visited there since early Spring. I listened, I went in. At first a bit confused as to why I was screamed at in my head to go in…but, I found there for 90 bucks a microphone that usually goes for $250 PLUS! I've been eyeing this mic online for almost a year now and have never felt comfortable pulling the trigger on the purchase. NOW! I know why! Set it up in my both, but I've got more tweaking to do on the set up as the booth was set up for a hypercardioid shotgun mic! This new mic is a TZ Audio Stellar X2 Large Diaphragm Studio Condenser Mic. To quote my friend Chris Tims, “inner light, inner sound, inner presence!” Pay attention! This day so full of…opportunities! Up at 515AM…On our 3 mile walk at 605 AM, walking The Melbourne Causeway before most are up and moving. Home to shower and shave. Lori & I take her car in for service. I'm told the oil is leaking from a top & bottom seal into a skid plate, that's why there are no oil stains on our driveway, fuel injectors are clogged which brought on the check engine light. Dropped Lori off at The Lori Prell Studio in Cocoa Village. Drove home, loaded old lawn mower into car to take to repair service since it still chokes itself out and will not run…same issue from earlier this summer! Made meatball & mixed greens soup in the crock pot for dinner. Got the show put together for today. Once that is edited and uploaded, I have to pick up my lovely wife and come home for dinner…oh, and a load of dishes done, too! Javone Jones is a mindset coach, motivational speaker, and author of his recent book Level Up: How To Start Living Your Best Life. I recently checked out a local bookstore in Cocoa Village called Hello Again Books. He was there doing a book signing! I feel that mental health is such an important topic, especially now amidst a global pandemic. We all could use some inspiration in leveling up. This episode we head out to Dirty Oar Beer Company and discuss the upcoming Cocoa Village Brewers Bash with Paul Hill from Dirty Oar Beer Company!
After a horribly long amount of time off, we have returned!! In November of 2020 we talked to the amazing folks at Dirty Oar Brewing in Cocoa Village. The episode was great, and the beer was even better. As it tends to happen, life got in the way. The intent was to publish this episodes weeks ago. Long story short, my family was affected by COVID-19, and everything was put on hold. Not only did COVID halt season 2 before it could get rolling, but it messed with the release of this episode. Chris Hughes and Paul Hill were amazing guests and I feel bad that I was unable to give them the attention and the spotlight they definitely deserve. Todd Furbeck, the brewer from Hell n Blazes Brewing was an amazing cohost for this episode. In short, they make great beer, and somehow, better conversation. Enjoy the episode, and we look forward to seeing on on February 13th in Cocoa Village at the 2nd Annual Cocoa Village Brewer's Bash!
Hello and welcome back to another episode of 321 Lift off! Today, we are pleased to be joined by Allan Chapman who is the Executive Director of the Historic Cocoa Village Main Street. Allan discusses his role with main street and what brought him here to Cocoa Village. Cocoa Village has several parks featuring many amenities including a playground and an amphitheater. He talks about the upcoming Fall Arts and Crafts Festival and the many events that the Historic Cocoa Village Main Street puts on each year. We also talk great food and all of the amazing shopping and live entertainment that can be found in Cocoa Village. If you are looking for a great place to walk around and spend an afternoon, Historic Cocoa Village is the place to be. Today's show was recorded on location at the Beachside Inn & Suites in Cocoa Beach and what a beautiful day it was. We recorded this episode from the Duck Dive Bar facing their amazing lazy river. Michelle Martindale joins us as well to discuss the Beachside Inn & Suites.
The best kept secret in Cocoa Village is out and a secret password is required. But no worries, we have all the details. Ben with El Secreto and Tacos N Tapas not only prepares incredible craft cocktails in the studio for Jesse and Darleen, but you will gain a wealth of knowledge. His experience with tequila, agave and other spirits translates into a really entertaining and informative podcast! Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/Podcast321)

One this week's Space Coast Eats, Jesse and Darleen with Eat Drink Play Brevard chatted it up with Angie and Mike at Stumpy's Hatchet House Cocoa. They are new to Cocoa Village and will be reopening Friday, May 22nd. This very cool venue offers social throwdown's! They renovated a building that was in really rough shape on Kind Street into a entertainment venue where you can take dates, birthday parties, team building events or big groups of friends. If you are interested in a little hatchet throwing, this is the place to be! It is truly an axe-citing time!Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/Podcast321)

Join Jesse and Darleen as they chat it up with Halim with Village Food Tours this week. It's been such a week that we start off this week's podcast with a cheer's with a Vesper Quarantini from Crush XI and discuss the benefits of curbside, meals to go, and the grocery options that our local restaurants are offering. Halim brings a lot to the table as he shares how food tours work in Cocoa Village and how it can be such a great way to meet new people and taste several local cuisines with small bites. He also shares how the Covid-19 outbreak pandemic has affected the restaurant business. We also talk about the positive side of people helping people and how some of the new ways that restaurants are serving their customers now may be a new revenue stream in the future.Support the show (https://www.patreon.com/Podcast321)
