Be sure to register for my free training on, "The 7-Step Formula to Closing More Deals without the Price Pushback, 'Think-It-Overs' or Ghosting" https://salesinsightslab.com/training/KEY MOMENTS0:58 1. Stop focusing on the close.2:10 2. No sales breath.3:20 3. Disqualify.4:21 4. Drop the pitch.5:21 5. Answer questions with questions.7:19 6. Sell to your IPP.8:42 7. NSO.10:09 8. Solve.11:17 9. SW3N.1. Stop focusing on the close. One of my sales mentors used to say, "Start strong, finish strong." If you're starting off the sales interaction strong, you're going to be providing lots of value up front, and demonstrating that you understand the prospect's challenges better than anyone else. As a result, the prospect is naturally inclined to think, “This is someone I want to buy from.”2. No sales breath.“Sales breath” is my term for any words or actions that immediately give away that you're desperate to close the sale. Have you ever been in a buying situation where you just got the sense that the salesperson sorely needed to close the deal in order to pay their rent, or just make it by? Ouch. There's not much worse for a buyer than catching a whiff of “sales breath” that makes them shrink away and want nothing to do with that desperate salesperson.3. Disqualify. Most salespeople have been taught to persuade and convince prospects to do business with them. But in reality, you don't have to convince anyone to do anything. What you need is to determine whether the prospect in front of you is, in fact, a fit for what you offer. That's all.The key to doing this is a process called disqualification, which consists of asking questions to determine whether there's a real fit. When disqualification is done correctly, prospects can see the inherent value in what you're offering.4. Drop the pitch.Pitching basically assumes that your ideal prospects are stupid…and I'm willing to bet that they're not. In fact, they're likely smart and well-informed, meaning that they don't need a sales pitch at all. What they need is to be led in a conversation to determine whether there's a strong fit. That's where disqualification comes in. Drop the old-school pitch; it's hurting, not helping you to close the deal.5. Answer questions with questions.Consider responding with something like, "That's a really good question. Can you help me understand what prompted you to ask that in the first place?" Now the prospect is going to tell you why they care about more service. Maybe the last time they went through this process, the service was disastrous—or maybe there wasn't enough service, or maybe they're actually worried about a particular part of the service that they don't fully understand.6. Sell to your IPP.IPP stands for your Ideal Prospect Profile. The idea of only selling to your IPP means focusing exclusively on selling to a smaller group of people who are truly your ideal prospects—people that actually have the budget, the money, the need, and the challenges that you solve. These are the types of prospects who can become good clients. That's your IPP.The key to selling to your IPP is to tightly define your ideal customer. If you could get in front of this person, you would be psyched to have a conversation with them. Next, clarify who you do not want to sell to. Selling only to your IPP is critical to mastering how to close the sale. 7. NSO.NSO stands for Next Step Obsessed. We must be obsessed with scheduling next steps if we really want to learn how to close the sale. This means that whether you're face to face, on the phone, or on a Zoom call with a prospect, you should schedule the next step in that meeting before you end the conversation. If you do this one simple thing, you'll never have to follow up on a prospect again.8. Solve.Instead of presenting or pitching, the focus must be on solving. The goal of any sales interaction is simply to demonstrate that you can solve the prospect's challenges. The first step, as we've already covered, is disqualification. When you're disqualifying prospects, you're seeking to understand what's going on in their world; you're learning about their challenges; you're discovering what they really need; and finally, you're showing them how you can solve the challenges they've mentioned.9. SW3N.This stands for: Some Will. Some Won't. So What? Next. When it comes to closing the sale, one of the biggest hurdles salespeople face is actually mental. They're so hard on themselves when they don't close the deal. They beat themselves up when a deal goes south and then they take that mental and emotional baggage with them into the next sales conversation. If you really want to learn how to close the sale, you need to learn to let it go. When a sale doesn't happen, take a deep breath and say to yourself, “Some Will. Some Won't. So What? Next.”

Beyond the Transaction: How to Achieve Growth in an Uncertain Economy The key factor that ensures successful recruitment business growth while navigating an uncertain economic climate is having sticky client relationships.  My special guest, Greg Hollis, newly appointed Group CEO of Recruitment Entrepreneur, shares how focusing on the 3 Cs (customer, candidate, consultants)  and developing a strong client relationship can bring about significant opportunities for growth to your recruitment firm. He shared their practices on how they add value to their clients and establish a relationship beyond the transaction. Greg has 27 years in the recruitment industry, working across multiple sectors and delivery models, he's launched and managed several businesses, brought an entrepreneurial spirit into a global PLC's senior leadership team, and successfully lead many high-performance organizations.    Episode Outline and Highlights [02:41] What Greg learned from spending 17 years at Manpower [06:30] Greg shares his insights on Vision and creating a high-performance culture.   [13:24] The 3 Cs of scaling a recruitment business. [16:29] The philosophy and strategies for developing client relationships. [22:15] What are the specific action steps to create more strategic relationships? [30:00] Discussion on developing solution-selling skills. [34:30] Greg shares how Project RPO works and how it differs from a retained assignment with multiple hires. [41:23] Adding value via Post-Deployment Training. [43:30] Delivering added value to client relationships. [47:58] Facing the current economic situation - what message is Greg giving his stakeholders in navigating this interesting chapter? [51:48] With the current condition of the global markets, is there a significant opportunity to scale? [53:38] How do you know when is the best time to make your next hire? [57:36] What does 2023 hold for Recruitment Entrepreneur?   Creating a High-Performance Culture and Focusing on the 3 Cs. Greg has a wealth of experience in the recruitment industry and invaluable insight when it comes to managing and scaling your recruitment business. You will hear his thoughts on the importance of having the core focus on the 3 Cs, which stands for Clients, Candidates, and Consultants.    Greg also discussed what is needed to establish a high-performance culture: it is centered around people with clear goals and expectations. However, the main part is having a clear how. A high-performance culture aligns not only with the objectives but also with learning and skill development.   Critical Keys to Client Relationship Development For Greg, focusing on the client is a critical factor to scale successfully. Rather than just becoming transactional, it is important to step back and consider your customer base. Some of the factors you may want to consider, as mentioned by Greg, are as follows:   Who are they as an organization? What are their plans not just now but in the next 12, 18 months, 2 years, or 3 years? When you scale your business, do you consider building your team to support your clients as aligned with their plans? On top of onboarding talents into their organization, what support can you provide to take care of their existing talents by improving their unique value proposition in the marketplace? How do we understand the challenges and pain in their processes?    To summarize, Greg says, “By taking a step back, seeing what we could do differently… starting to think: how we can deliver a service to the customer that is relevant to them?”   With the Current Market Conditions, Are There Significant Opportunities to Scale Your Recruitment Business? Greg also shared his insight on the current market conditions where there is a recessive economy but strong hiring demand and massive skill shortages in many areas. For him, it has been an interesting few years and his advice is to be attentive, agile, and adaptive as we are only able to address the things that we are aware of. But ultimately, get close to your customers by having a sticky client relationship.   Are there still opportunities to hire and scale your business with the current economic climate? For Greg, “the reality is that there are still significant opportunities to scale out there.” It is about focusing on the 3 Cs - Clients, Candidates, and Consultants.   Our Sponsors This podcast is proudly sponsored by i-intro and Recruitment Entrepreneur.   i-intro® is an end-to-end retained recruitment platform. But there's still this fear around getting ‘too big’ and not being able to sustain growth.  And I think that fear and frustration comes from worry.  “What if my team leave and decide to rent a chair somewhere else” “What if one of my team leaves and decides to work from home… and they start to steal my other team members.!” This is a real fear, especially in this changing environment, as a new generation of people come through… who want to work the way that they want to work and don't want to work within boundaries. On the shelves of every grocery and convenience store across the US, there’s no shortage of products created specifically for boosting low energy. Energy drinks, shots, bars, and even pills have been largely normalized. However, feeling so fatigued that you’d consider reaching for these products is by no means normal.  Instead of putting a bandage on the problem, it’s important that we understand what’s going on behind the scenes of energy production and expenditure. In The Energy Paradox, Dr. Steven Gundry offers an insightful perspective on how gut health, inflammation, and energy are intertwined. Today he’s back on The Model Health Show to discuss the problem with chronic fatigue, and real solutions you can use to increase energy production and feel your best.  You’re going to learn the mechanics of how our Western eating habits overload our mitochondria, how levels of chronic inflammation drain our energy, plus important insights on the function of the immune system and microbiome. As always, Dr. Gundry is bringing invaluable knowledge and an actionable plan forward. Enjoy!  In this episode you’ll discover: The meaning behind the title, The Energy Paradox. How many hours per day the average American spends eating.  Why overeating is like a traffic jam in our mitochondria. The problem with normalizing levels of fatigue. How inflammation is like a chronic fire. The connection between low energy and leaky gut. Why adopting an anti-inflammatory diet is often not enough. How consuming a seasonal diet can affect your microbiome.  What postbiotic means. The importance of vitamin D for immune health.  A distinction between vitamin D2 and D3. What it means to eat your sunscreen.  The number one cause of all preexisting conditions. What percentage of the immune system is in the gut.  How to introduce time restricted eating.  Why you might want to consider eating mono-meals for breakfast. How stressful life events can trigger leaky gut.  What an energy snack is, and how exercise can heal your gut.  Items mentioned in this episode include: Onnit.com/model -- Get your optimal health supplements at 10% off!  Foursigmatic.com/model -- Get an exclusive discount on your daily health elixirs! 59: 3 Critical Keys That Will Make or Break You As A Freedom Entrepreneur. What it means and how you can do it. Hello, soul rich woman, welcome to Soul Why? Secrets of the Soul Rich Woman Blueprint, I'm your host, Genecia Alluora, welcome. Today I want to talk about the topic Freedom Entrepreneur and what it means and how you can do it too. In the years that I have started doing business online and in fact, right after I exited to the public listed company, exited my café retail chain, to the public listed company owner, I was a free bird. 02:15- 02:44 I just want to give you a quiz. What is the most profitable drink in a café? Drink, that means as a coffee, tea. What kind of coffee is it, a water or what? That's why I'm asking which drink in a café do you think is the most profitable? That means we as a café owner makes the most profits, at least in my situation. Being a freedom entrepreneur 03:05- 03:42 Being a freedom entrepreneur means that you live out of your suitcase and you get to travel the world to do anything that you want. So I have personally done it myself. Before the COVID-19 situation happened, I was traveling to Vietnam for three weeks and come back Singapore for a week. The turnaround means for meetings in Singapore and other mentees. My mentees, my clients want to see me and then I'm out of the country again to Thailand and then to Myanmar, to Vietnam, to the Philippines, Cambodia, to different parts of the world. 04:39- 04:52  All these will not have impossible if I have not become a freedom entrepreneur because I was on the ground. Now, how does a freedom entrepreneur look like?  It's exactly what I've just described you living off a suitcase. The best part is doing a business online 05:39- 06:13 The best part is doing a business online, I just need an Internet and one thing about the Internet I learned when you say fast Wi-Fi, as a freedom entrepreneur.  As a soul rich woman, you go to other countries and you say, "Oh, you read the Airbnb or you read that thing."  Fast Wi-Fi, I can tell you, it's no guarantee it's fast. After traveling for so long and so many years living off a suitcase, you need to call the Airbnb host to confirm exactly what's the fast Wi-Fi. 06:44- 07:16  So wherever we go now in whichever country we are in, we always look for a minimum of 20 Mbps. So it's important for you if you are looking to travel around the world like me and you need to have at least 20 Mbps to function and you need to also bring along a lot of data storage space. So I have like a backup hard disk, five terabytes, and then I have another backup of the backup hard disk of another five terabytes. 07:39- 08:25  How can you do it? When I see how you can do it as well, is it also means what are some things to look out for? And of course, to build an online business, of course, is the way to go.  The question is how? And you must see in which stage of life your act. What? What not another five employees, whether you're a mom-preneur, whether you're a female entrepreneur, solo-preneur, or a stay at home mom. So really depends on where you're at. And like Wi-Fi is important, gadgets are important for you to really be able to travel freely out of a suitcase with no worries and knowing that whatever that you're doing, the data travels with you as well. Key Takeaways: 1. Live out of your suitcase.2. Plan ahead and always be prepared.3. See which stage from life you are at.4. Strategize in making sure that you have multiple copies of the things that you need. 5. Make your access in the things that you need less in trouble and easier.Key Resources:Subscribe to Genecia's Youtube channel: https://www.youtube.com/c/SoulRichWomanVisit SRW's website: https://www.soulrichwoman.comFollow Genecia on Instagram : (@Geneciaalluora)Follow Genecia on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/geneciaalluora/Check Genecia's LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/genecia/Free Resource: "Soul Why: Soul Rich Woman Blueprint" and "How to Delegate 80% of your to-do list" ---> https://be.soulrichwoman.comSecrets of Manifesting Money Quickly Online Course ---> https://shor.by/moneymindset

Today I'm grateful to interview Carol Allen about what she calls "The 5 Critical Keys to Love" - and it's all based on Vedic Astrology! Here is a little bit about Carol: "When I was twenty-three, a session with an astrologer changed my life. He predicted I’d become a counselor or teacher of some kind, and that I wouldn’t (and couldn’t) get married until I turned thirty. I was so impressed by his insights that I started studying with him, and was soon giving readings as well, in the process making his first prediction come true. And I quickly figured out two amazing things: 1. All anyone wants is love. (With career and money being a distant second – but only so they can get more love.) 2. Even the most otherwise successful, wonderful people typically have no clue how to succeed at relationships. But they desperately want to. (Refer to #1 again) But after a couple of years of doing readings and presenting this oh-so-accurate and in-depth wisdom to hundreds of women of all walks of life, I noticed some surprising things: as amazing as astrology was, much of what I’d always read and heard about it wasn’t true (discovering, for example, that Sun signs aren’t all that important in love, and that most of us aren’t even the sign we think we are). And, even more amazing, – astrology was not enough. Here’s what I mean: a woman would come to me wanting to know about her compatibility with a man. And it would be just perfect. But then she’d tell me they were miserable. Then another woman would come wanting to know about her man, and their compatibility would be just “so-so” and yet, she’d report that they were very happy. In a nutshell I realized there are actually FIVE critical keys to love. And only ONE of them is compatibility. But they’re all critical. So if a couple is missing any of them (even if they feel they have a soulmate, “wow” kind of connection) they won’t be able to reach “happily ever after.” Once I discovered the five critical keys, I was able to help my clients – and myself – like never before. You see, one of the keys has nothing to do with the stars – it has to do with YOU. It’s having good relationship skills. When I figured that out (and that mine were sorely lacking, and were to blame for my amazing, “perfect match” boyfriend heading off into the sunset without me) I went on a quest to learn all I could about relationships." Today Carol will share these 5 critical keys! Maybe you’ve been feeling sick for a while. Nothing seems to help. You’ve been taking medicine that treats symptoms, but actual healing seems unattainable. That’s because we’re stressed, surrounded by toxins, and not treating the roots causes of disease.  So we’re sharing the four key areas that are most at cause for every symptom and negative thought you have that block you from the life you came here to live. Addressing these root causes of disease is the key to long-term health. We start off discussing the problems of toxicity in our bodies and environment and how and why we need to get them out of our lives.  Next up, we tell you why getting your hormones properly in balance is so crucial to staying healthy. Hormonal health is intrinsically tied to gut health, another part of your system that can’t be ignored. We talk about why your gut health is actually more important than your genetic background and what you can do to take better control over it. In the end, it’s mindset that’s crucially important in the healing process, and we discuss what you can start doing about it today. How can you treat the root cause of disease and not just the symptoms? Tell us what you think in the comments! In this episode The role that toxicity plays in making people chronically ill and how to overcome this problem How the minerals in our bodies affect our hormonal health The ways in which our hormones are part of a much larger and more complex system  How a healthy gut biome is an essential part of a healthy life Why you need to believe that you can heal in order to actually truly heal Quotes “We say ‘everything in moderation,’ but we have little morsels of these toxins that all add up.” [4:38] “As long as we’re in fight or flight, our sleep hormones and sex hormones are not made as in abundance as we need because our body will always prioritize stress hormones.” [9:48] “Hormones are kind of dumb. They’re told what to do by the brain and the brain is told what to do by the gut. So this is how the whole thing is all connected.” [11:02] “The gut is your immune health. 80% of your immune health lives in your gut!” [16:34] “If we believe that we get sick because other people pass on a bug, then we disempower ourselves from the real question of why we’re getting sick so often.” [20:12] Links Follow Diane on Facebook | Instagram | Pinterest | Twitter | YouTube  Keep up with everything Diane and CHI online here Join the Cleanse, Heal, Ignite Facebook Community Watch our MasterClass & Get to the Root of Hormone, Auto-Immune and Breast Implant Illness Symptoms

There are times when it feels like the wellness industry is under attack. Most recently, it was the Song et al study published in JAMA and before that it was the University of Illinois study. Both garnered the headlines “wellness doesn’t work”. These sensational headlines are easy to dismiss but I strongly encourage you not to. Both of these studies are good pieces of research we can learn from as wellness professionals. Examining these findings without bias or opinions can potentially lead us to new, more effective approaches. That why our training, “Next Generation Wellness: From Theory to Practice” was created. In this training, we teach the critical ways we need to shift the conversations within our organizations. This can lead us to not only evolve our industry but also have more impact and influence.  We gave the training this past Spring and will also be giving it at this year’s WELCOA Summit as an intensive before the full conference gets started. “You just keep busting your butt and showing up, and good things are going to happen. I had this insane work ethic and the ability to work past everyone else. It raised everyone else's game, and if they couldn’t do it they just fell off.” There are thousands of retired professional athletes, many who struggle with the transition into their next careers. A big part of my Make Your Mark podcast is to shine a spotlight on those who are making a positive impact after they leave their sport, and today’s guest, Cory Procter, is a superb example of that, as his story of becoming a truly inspirational speaker and financial manager will inspire you. “If any athletes are listening to this right now this is important. So many guys hang onto the dream. I’m not saying not to, but when you hang onto the dream you will pass up so many other opportunities because you’re holding onto something that will potentially happen. (This is what I tell guys who are either playing right now or holding out ) Work on your side hustle, work on your side passion, work on something that you want to do after football is over, because at some point it’s going to be over whether it’s now or in 10 years and you’re going to want to  do something with your life and us as men we identify with our work so much that when our work is taken from our lives we have identity struggles. So work on that side passion right now.” Cory has been a hard worker, a grinder, since he was a young boy, seeing the results pay off eventually into an NFL career. But the big reward for Cory (and his audience) has been his message of making yourself accountable for your actions, that you truly control your outcome, and treating everyone with respect can earn you a spot on your team (sports, corporate, and anywhere else) that may have otherwise gone to someone else. “When I went to training camp I made sure to introduce myself to the entire training staff; equipment managers and the rest of the staff, not just the head coaches, and at the end of the camp I thank them all. Then an equipment guy tells the coaches ‘We need Cory Procter on our team’!  That’s not something to be taken lightly because you are having an impact on every place you enter. If you come in and you’re respectful, happy and uplifting while showing gratitude, you’re going leave imprints wherever you go. You never know where those connections might lead.” This was one of my most enjoyable podcasts, as we could have gone on for hours. Cory is such a genuine guy, calls it like it is, and treats us, his audience, with the understanding that with just a few words, we can be inspired to greater things. We talk about being a Grizzly, earning the respect of Bill Parcells, and playing drums in metal band! Give this one a listen...it will fly by, as our conversation was just that, with plenty of advice for athletes and others spread throughout. Before and after the show, please post your questions for Jory and Melinda on Jory's Facebook Business Page. Melinda has been a professional coach for 10 years. Something unique about Melinda is that she loves (and I mean loves) the operations and systems behind running a business. As a result she created a thriving, profitable coaching business, with a full client load and a waiting list in a few short months (even before completing her coach training). She began to quickly realize that other new coaches were not experiencing the same level of success she thought was natural. That was when she created The Coaches Console; the all-in-one business management technology for coaches. She knew that to the degree coaches have systems in place they’ll experience success. And without them coaches struggle, play small and remain overwhelmed. Melinda has worked with thousands of coaches around the world and is here to share her wisdom with us today.
