"Beyond Utopia" had its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival, where it received universal acclaim and won the Audience Award for U.S. Documentary Competition. I (Mckenna) have been following her on TikTok for a while now so it was a bit of a surreal experience for me. We talked about everything from film industry tips, to high school stress, to feminism and how hard it is to be female in the industry (stop with the "Let me help you with that camera" comments. We're probably stronger than you.)
