Coming to you with some really sad news today. RIP Michael Gambon AKA Dumbledore. Earlier on I read that Michael Gambon, who famously played Albus Dumbledore for the majority of the Harry Potter films, has passed away at the age of 82. “We are devastated to announce the loss of Sir Michael Gambon,” said the statement issued on behalf of his wife, Anne, and son Fergus by publicist Clair Dobbs. It added that he “died peacefully in hospital” after a bout of pneumonia with the pair at his bedside. His family also added: … “We ask that you respect our privacy at this painful time and thank you for your messages of support and love,”  … For those unaware, Gambon took over the role of Dumbledore after the death of Richard Harris, who portrayed the wise old wizard in the Philosopher's Stone and Chamber of Secrets. And take over the role he certainly did- and while the two men may have portrayed Dumbledore in their own unique ways, both were incredibly effective. Leaving their mark on the Harry Potter franchise for all of eternity. Born on October 19, 1940, in Dublin, Ireland, Michael Gambon showed an early inclination towards the arts. He left school at the age of 15 and went on to become a successful engineer. However, the allure of the theater proved irresistible, and Gambon soon embarked on a professional acting career. He joined the prestigious National Theatre in London's Old Vic as one of its founding members in 1962. Collaborating with legendary figures like Laurence Olivier, Derek Jacobi, and Maggie Smith, Gambon developed his craft and gained prominence on the stage. Throughout his illustrious career, Gambon amassed numerous awards and honors. He received three Olivier Awards and two Critics' Circle Theatre Awards for his remarkable stage performances. On the screen, Gambon was honored with four British Academy of Film and Television Arts awards. Additionally, he won two ensemble cast Screen Actors Guild Awards for his roles in "Gosford Park" and "The King's Speech." In 1998, Gambon was knighted for his immense contributions to the world of drama. But it wasn't just contributions to the world of Drama that Gambon deserved to be knighted for. I think I can speak for everyone when I say that Gambon played an integral part of so many people's childhoods- bringing the iconic role of Dumbledore to life. It's tough getting older and seeing our childhood heroes passing away, but just like Hagrid and Robbie Coltrane- Gambon's contributions to the world of theatre will live forever. The Army is working with the Honolulu Police Department to find the suspect, who is still at large. Wheeler Army Airfield also went into lockdown. QUETTA, Pakistan (AP) — Authorities in Pakistan say at least 52 people were killed and nearly 70 wounded after a powerful bomb exploded in a crowd of people celebrating the Prophet Muhammad's birthday in the southwest of the country. The bombing, one of the deadliest in recent years, occurred in Mastung, a district in Baluchistan province, an area that has witnessed scores of attacks by insurgents. BOSTON (AP) — A California man has pleaded guilty to arranging hundreds of sham marriages in an effort to circumvent immigration laws. That is according to federal prosecutors. Forty-nine-year-old Marcialito Biol Benitez, a Philippine national living in Los Angeles, pleaded guilty Wednesday to conspiracy to commit marriage fraud and immigration document fraud. U.S. District Court Judge Denise Casper scheduled sentencing for Jan. 10. Always was a big fan of Techno though the years, Early sets of Carl Cox or the Mazzo Mixup cd in the 90's. Still listen to them these days on a regulair basis. But never found the style techno that was the one for me to play. Untill around 2018 i stumbelt on a mix from Remco Beekwilder. This was the style i searched for all those years. So i send the guy a message asking which labels and artists i have to follow for this sound. Never expected an response but the guy is actualy an realy nice guy. He gave me labels, artists. It was great. So the search begon, first thing i noticed that a lot of thes artists released on vinyl also. So i knew it would be an expensive search haha. Now 5 years later i own about 400 techno vinyls of which a little over 200 will be from the years 2012 and on. This mix includeds the artists and labels i become to love the most. Labels like Emerald, Perc Trax, Genosha Basic, Green Fetish Records or ARTS. With the artists like Offcource Remco Beekwilder, Ghost In The Machine, Somniac One, Perc and VTSS. This mix will contain Heavy Beats, some Acid Snears, lots of old Rave influences but most of all some Hard and Dark Kickdrums!! So just give it a go!! Play it out load!! Robbert-Jan vd Plas is a Dutch dj from Katwijk aan zee born in 1980. At the age of 9 he received his first 2 vinyls. Turn Up The Bass 1 and 2. It was the year 1989. First track he listened to was Pump Up The Jam, after the first beats he was hooked. Since then he was always listening to fresh new beats. In 1993 he decided to save the little money that he could get to buy the records that he liked and try to mix them. Starting with 1 turntable (Without pitch) and 1 cd player. 1 year later he visited his first houseparty (Nightmare in Rotterdam) and then he knew it, he wanted to be an dj. So from then on he bought more and more vinyl and at 14 got his first residency at a local youghtcentre. For 3 years he was the hardest dj there and from all over the village the young boys and girls came to dance on his Hardcore beats After that 3 years he stopped his residency and got his first gig at the HOUSE in SCUM party's in Katwijk and when he was around 20 years old he they asked him to be a resident at the party's once a month. He continued that untill 2011 when he was 31 years old. In between he played at a lot of small clubs and small party's in the whole of the Netherlands and a few in Begium and Germany also. Still only as an Amateur. In this period he also spinned at some local radioshows and even got an invite to play at the Old School Generation on Radio Fresh FM hosted by dj Norman where spinned some an vinyl Old School set. Also been a resident at D.O.T.F. radio. An internet old school radiostation where the rules are "Fuck Hokjes" so there will be mostly spinned underground old school records. Other residents of the show are dj Sneaky-d (founder of the staion), Jeff London, dj Vince an dj Stylo. Unfortunaly the show stopped after 10 years. Since 2011 things where running a bit slower due of the birth of his daughter Yara in november 2011, his son Finley in September 2013 and daughter Jaxy in februari 2015. Hey stopped with Scum in 2011 after an 11 year recidency. Bookings went down and he didn't preformed a lot after that. Few small party's like the Early Ravers United party's. Biggest gigs since then where Fucking Basterds in Culemburg in 2012 and Vinyl Syndrome V · Limita'd Edition Moscou Russia in 2016. Nowdays due of Facebook Groups and Facebook Live more and more sets are being braodcasted around the web. He has done 4 shows on Hard Shock radio Italy, mostly Early Hardcore. And multiple shows on Toxic Sickness since 2018. This was all as HAMdj and in the styles Hardcore, Early Hardcore, Hardstyle and Old School. 2018 he started a Podcast serie with a friend (dj Exomni) called The Dark Chronicles in courtesy of Annihilation. The Dark Chronicles offers mixes in the Harder Mainstream, Millenium, Crossbreed, Industrial and Doomcore. (No Uptemo or Terror!!) Brought by a variety of fine artists. But after discovering the Dark Techno at the end of 2018 he created this alter ego Viktor Gambon. And started a sideshow podcast called the Dark Techno Sessions. So pretty new to the Techno scene he is mixing this with his own vision. Not excluding anything. So influences from the Rave, Acid or Classic scene. Expect no limits or boundaries in his sets. They will go up and down but you never know when and where it will end! In curtesy of Toxic Sickness he, togheter with his good friend Denny Spek aka Spek FM, will create a new show called Classics, Techno, Rave & Bits. Where they will combine multiple styles and try to create an Dark Atmosfear in each set. Not refusing any style. But mostly it will be Slow and Dark. Social info.
