"GRIDLOCKED: On Tour With The Briggs", a new rockumentary feature film on iconic punk band The Briggs, releases this February. From writer-director Kevin James Barry ("Among Them", "Serena and the RATTS"), the pic "GRIDLOCKED" follows the Los Angeles-based punk rock band through their ten day tour of the west coast with personal interviews with the band's frontman, Joey LaRocca. From Joey's engaging perspective, the film explores the sometimes harsh and other-times intensely rewarding lifestyle of musical artists. Joey must navigate a musical career that fell short of his youthful expectations as it collided with the realities of maturing and gaining family responsibilities. The story culminates, in what may be the final tour with the band that he loves, with the realization and acceptance that life doesn't always play out as planned.''GRIDLOCKED : On Tour With The Briggs'' releases On Demand February 15 from Gravitas Ventures.James Edward Webb was born in 1981 and grew up on ranches around the western United States. With his fathers employment as a cowboy, James developed a lifelong fascination with the Old West. The charm of the rugged sophistication in the lives of those who lived in the westward expansion, was driven further with several experiences. Aside from growing up on the ranches where his father found employment, he had a chance to explore some of the remnants of that history. When James was 19 he joined the Army. In 2001 he married his wife, Tera, 2003 was deployed to Iraq, and in 2007, after his separation from the military, they moved to Michigan where they have been raising their three children. He attended college and received a degree in art. He finds that writing is good therapy for his PTSD. In Tom's Revenge he uses his love for the Old West to bring a deeper understanding of this disorder by expressing what he, as a veteran, deals with internally and externally. Other therapies that he uses are art and cooking with his wife, creating and trying new foods. From cover to cover Tom's Revenge is his first published work including the cover art.The Douglas Coleman Show now offers audio and video promotional packages for music artists as well as video promotional packages for authors. Come along for another life changing journey to Pawnee! Today Rob and Alan stick together while watching the 11th episode of season 2. In “Tom's Divorce” Leslie finds out Tom and Wendy are splitting up, and tries to lift his spirits. On this episode find out the unique connection Jerry has with dinosaurs, the origin of the Ron Swanson breakfast meme, and which Taco Bell actor possibly marries Wendy!Got a question for the Pawnee Town Hall? Send us an email: ParksandRecollectionTownHall@gmail.com Or leave a 30-Second voicemail at: (310) 893-6992 The episode opens with Ron sending Leslie to run an errand at the DMV on City Hall's fourth floor, a dark and unsettling place that includes probation offices and divorce filings. A reluctant and frightened Leslie navigates past reprobates and blood stains on the floor and spots Tom and Wendy leaving the Divorce Office. Unaware that their relationship was a green card marriage to prevent Wendy from being deported back to Canada, Leslie later tries to comfort Tom, who insists he is fine. Nevertheless, Leslie persists in her efforts to cheer him up, in part by ordering a singing horse telegram to cheer him up and taking the whole dept out to a dinosaur-themed restaurant, Jurassic Fork. The parks employees eat several dinosaur-themed entrees, "Tyranna-Ceasar Salads" and "Surf and Turfasaurus". Tom seems so cheery that Leslie begins to suspect he is faking being sad. Ron pulls Tom aside and asks whether he could ask Wendy on a date once the divorce is finalized. Tom consents, but is visibly disappointed. Determined to cheer him up, Leslie agrees to compromise her morals and take Tom to his favorite strip club, the Glitter Factory. Leslie is horrified by the club and tries to encourage the strippers to change their lives. Ron is also uninterested in the strippers, but happily consumes the free breakfast buffet.Tom remains depressed even after Leslie hires a stripper to "grind the sorrow out of him". A drunken Tom tells Leslie that Ron plans to ask out Wendy, prompting an angry reaction from her. Meanwhile, Andy continues his efforts to break up the relationship between Ann and Mark. Andy challenges Mark to a game of pool with the hopes of hustling him, but Mark turns out to be an excellent player and wins multiple games for double or nothing. Mark and Andy make one final wager: if Andy wins, he gets Ann, but if Mark wins he has to leave them alone. Mark dominates the game but loses when he scratches on the 8 ball. Initially delighted, Andy becomes confused when Ann leaves with Mark anyway. Meanwhile, Tom passes out at the bar, and Ron and Leslie take him to Wendy's house. Leslie is shocked to find Wendy is on a date with another man. She storms out after expressing her disgust with Wendy and Ron. The next morning at work, Tom confesses to Leslie that it was a green card marriage, and that he only recently realized he has feelings for Wendy and Andy tells Mark and Ann he will no longer be bothering them. Andy says a final goodbye to Ann and the episode concludes with a Horse singing telegram Leslie has sent to apologize to Ron.

This week we turn our attention to investing in Asia with Tom Naughton, Managing Partner and Chief Investment Officer of the Asian investment boutique, Prusik Investment Management. Tom was a great guest with unparalleled knowledge of the Asian investment markets and it was fascinating to listen to his career journey to date. We looked back to Tom's early experiences at the Universities Superannuation Scheme (1.20), one of the largest private pension schemes in the UK, where he met mentors Peter Moon & Clive Edwards (2.33) who helped develop his unconstrained, absolute return mindset he still employs today. In 2002, Tom then moved out to Hong Kong and was hugely successful in scaling a hedge fund with PMA Investment Advisers (3.46). Nothing quite focuses the mind when ‘rent was almost the same as my salary' and he spoke candidly about the importance of making ‘money in order to live' while out there (4.30). I asked Tom whether it was hard to raise the initial seed capital for his income fund at Prusik Investment Management when he returned to London in 2010 (6.25). We then discussed what makes Asian economies an attractive place to invest for income (7.36). Tom has a very focused portfolio and we discussed which sectors his team invest in, and also those that they avoid (9.15). Did his fund keep paying dividends last year during the height of the pandemic? (10.36). Once Tom finds a high-quality company, he then focuses extremely hard on valuation (12.48) and references the St Petersburg Paradox to illustrate today's valuation dilemma (13.25). As the Chinese authorities crank up regulatory pressure on various sectors, I ask Tom if China is investable today (15.35) and he talks through the thesis behind investing in telecoms. What about Hong Kong, given the National Security Law concerns – is there money to be made in equities there (21.34)? How are Asian countries currently dealing with the pandemic (24.30) and what are they doing from an ESG perspective (26.45)? In Tom's capacity as Managing Partner of an investment boutique, I ask what the firm are trying to achieve and what are the advantages of being a boutique? (29.46). ‘Best outcomes for clients' were words that struck a chord with me. Finally, Tom shares some advice for those looking to enter the industry (31.42), some essential reading (33.58) and a couple of investor icons he would like to meet (35.50).
In this special expert-led episode, author and future of work expert Sophie Wade talks about where we’re headed as an adaptive workforce and the opportunities these changes make possible. She also discusses how a shift toward more diverse and inclusive work cultures will play a major role in how we connect and understand each other as professionals. Plus, listen as Sophie and host Jo Richardson discuss the insights and expertise presented in the first three episodes. Key Takeaways: [0:57] Sophie Wade is a Future of Work Expert Extraordinaire. In 2016 when she was writing her first book, she realized she needed to make some changes to her work schedule. She would write in the morning before a barrage of emails came in, and adjusted her gym schedule to the afternoon. It helped her understand how to set herself up for success, and that just a few tweaks can be effective and powerful. So many of us would love to do this in our own work, but think it’s more difficult than it actually is. [3:48] We need to include empathy and inclusivity in our decision-making around flex work, especially when we are working in such extremes as isolation during the pandemic. [5:07] As we figure out when we do certain types of work best, we can recognize that in other people. [6:38] Hybrid working is not simple, so it’s important to make a new flexible structure that we can adapt to more easily. [7:10] After listening to the conversations with Daniel, Tom, and Ginny, Sophie’s overarching takeaway was about the idea of proactive measures that we need to be taking now that the future of work has arrived. The old rules must be broken down to include more adaptable frameworks, for example, rewarding team members more on merit rather than just accomplishment. [10:41] In Tom’s episode, Sophie learned that there’s a lot of awareness about the initial bias, but we also need to account for how algorithms need to adapt and change over time. [12:59] In our rapidly evolving economy, it’s too slow to take certain feedback all the way up to the top, wait for a strategy change, and take it all the way down. Trying to work out which pieces can be taken care of closer to the front line requires trust and faith in your employees, but it can be effective and productive. [14:10] It is a shift of ego from the leader to spread responsibility across the organization instead of taking it all on themselves, but this can help prevent burnout which inevitably leads to negative feelings and lower productivity on both sides. [15:36] When Sophie emphasizes the importance of culture, she stresses alignment rather than fit. She points to the episode with Ginny, where she discusses that leaders must be self-aware in order to hire people to know where their blind spots are and hire people that can help. [16:28] When leaders and managers are showing their vulnerability, that will encourage employees to have open dialogue with their leaders, opening up more space for creativity and connection. [19:11] Empathy is called for in the biggest way when it comes to speaking up about racial injustice and showing up as an ally. Empathic leadership means knowing your employees and responding to them in a way that works best for their individual needs. It does not mean trauma sharing. [21:43] Many of us are still learning how to be better allies, and diverse leadership can provide both support and instruction. Sophie feels hopeful for the future, but we continue to need to step back from our assumptions and be more thoughtful about who we are trying to hire and their skills. [23:40] The way we work bleeds into the fabric of our societies. When we bring more inclusivity and diversity into the workplace, hopefully, that will start to ripple more social justice out into the world. Quotes: “Flex work can help remove structures that exclude people, like old boys networks. Empathy is the foundation of inclusivity.” - Jo “Empathy starts with self-awareness, and awareness about other people.” - Sophie “A more diverse workplace can better represent the preferences and opinions of consumers, and can reward the best individual ideas and contributions over groupthink.” - Jo “Having empathy to try and understand each other is going to be really critical for moving forward.” - Sophie “You need to have people with different cultural backgrounds to bring the correct perspectives. The real perspectives, not imagined.” - Sophie Continue on your journey: https://www.pega.com/ Mentioned: Transforming Work With Sophie Wade Sophie Wade www.flexcelnetwork.com

This “Tom & Emma” episode of Mind the Gap begins with a recap of their recent interview with Doug Lemov (1:00) featured in Episode 16. The hosts discuss the pieces of the conversation that stood out to them, including the way Doug communicates his key ideas; their enthusiasm looking ahead to “Teach Like a Champion 3.0;” and how Doug's approach to feedback relates to their observations in the profession. Next, Tom and Emma answer some of the questions they're frequently asked in their work (7:25). Emma shares her thoughts on early career teachers, and in particular how they'll be supported once they return to the physical classroom. In Tom's segment, he discusses teacher development and whether schools should launch new initiatives over the remainder of the academic year. Emma and Tom then share their recent reading lists. Emma has been reading The Feedback Pendulum by Michael Chiles and she describes how the book exceeded her expectations and opened her eyes to what the word “feedback” actually means. Tom then describes the different types of feedback he often receives, and why it's important to get feedback that's relevant and which you can actually use. From Tom's reading list, he references Leverage Leadership by Paul Bambrick-Santoyo and John Tomsett's Cognitive Apprenticeship in Action. In the next segment, the hosts share advice for teachers (23:30). Emma explains why she recommends primary teachers should integrate more non-screen-based activities all these months into remote learning. Tom then shares why he advocates for “cold calling” in the classroom, and why teachers should understand that it promotes a dynamic of inclusivity. Finally, the hosts wrap up by sharing advice for school leaders (30:40). Emma's advice centers on leadership well-being and Tom's is focused on developing agency in all the people involved in the learning process, especially students. After years of trying to lead individuals through change by telling people what to do, how to do it, and why to do it, Tom received feedback that shook his world. He realized he was doing it all wrong. Although the teams he led were getting results, one thing was obvious, they weren't having fun and there was no passion. By committing to starting with why and helping people to experience joy at work, Tom has been blessed to see transformational change happen at the individual level and organizational level. As Tom puts it, "change is a personal decision to do something different. “ Tom shares that he is completely addicted to seeing the lightbulb go off in people's heads when they realized they have had the answer all along. It was just buried beneath a bad process and a lack of tools and supportive culture to bring the idea forward. In Tom's experience, empowering people to share their ideas and to get behind other people's ideas is the secret sauce to organizations achieving breakthrough outcomes. In organizations where the best idea wins, good things happen for everyone involved. It all starts with giving people the tools, the skills, and the confidence they need to make and lead change. As a senior non-commissioned officer of Delta Force, Command Sergeant Major Tom Satterly fought some of this country's most fearsome enemies. Now, he sits down to share his story with The Warrior's Journey! Over the course of twenty years and thousands of missions, Tom became a legend even among other Tier One special operators. Yet the enemy that cost him three marriages, and ruined his health physically and psychologically, existed in his brain, and the fallout from his battle with PTS nearly led him to kill himself in 2014. With the help of his wife, Tom learned that by admitting his weaknesses and faults, he sets an example for other combat veterans struggling to come home. He has since embarked on his most important mission: saving the lives of his brothers and sisters in arms who are killing themselves at a rate of more than twenty a day. In Tom's words, "You have to be vulnerable to be courageous" – and he encourages listeners to lead with love, not fear. [11:46] Within the first few years of running their newsletters, Tom started licensing the Towne Post platform to other communities who were interested in bringing a similar concept to their area, but he began running into a few issues with this model. [17:26] Tom shares about what his first year in franchising looked like and how they determined who their ideal franchisee candidate was. [22:30] COVID-19 has had a brutal impact on print media, and now many businesses are faced with the decision to adapt to digital media or go under. [25:08] In Tom’s opinion, the top performing franchisees in this industry had previous “B2B” (business to business) sales experience. [29:05] Tom explains what their digital integration concept is all about and what type of support you would receive as a franchisee. [36:29] Towne Post has launched a new CRM program and found based on the timing of their submissions that people are buying products at night and want instant graitifcation, which led him to launch TownePost.Direct. In today’s discussion, Tom Vander Ark is speaking with Dr. Eric Tucker, the co-founder and Executive Director of the Brooklyn Laboratory Charter School. Brooklyn Labs is a next-generation college-preparatory 6–12 public charter school that prepares scholars with the academic foundation, digital literacy, and leadership skills necessary to succeed in college and professional life. Recently, Eric created a 10-point plan based on insights and resources from practitioners and experts to help educators reimagine and strengthen education systems. In particular, it was created to encourage school and system leaders to consider how the needs of people of color and individuals with disabilities will be affected by re-entry. In Tom and Eric’s discussion today, Eric recalls how debate changed his academic trajectory, as well as how he overcame learning disabilities and earned a doctorate at Oxford. They also discuss how Brooklyn Lab responded to the closure of schools and, of course, their 10-point plan for reopening schools with safety and equity in mind! (If you want to tune in specifically for the 10-point plan you can jump forward to minute twenty!) Key Takeaways: [:10] About today’s episode! [:43] Tom welcomes Eric Tucker to the podcast. [:50] Eric shares why he studied Africana studies at Brown University in ’98. [2:22] Where did Eric’s appreciation for debate come from? And when did it start? [5:30] How and when did Eric end up at Oxford getting his master’s in education research methodology and his doctorate in measurement? [7:23] After leading the National Debate organization and doing a few other things, Eric had an idea of starting a new kind of school in the heart of Brooklyn. Eric tells the origin story of Brooklyn Lab. [10:44] Now a well-known school, Brooklyn Lab serves a diverse group of students. Eric touches on this fact and elaborates on the unique needs of the student population. [15:44] Eric speaks about how they make 1:1 and small group tutoring a priority at Brooklyn Lab. [18:15] Jessica shares an important resource with listeners: the Getting Through microsite. [18:55] Eric provides some reflections on what’s currently happening at Brooklyn Lab concerning the COVID-19 pandemic. [25:50] Eric begins to speak about their 10-point plan for reopening schools with safety and equity in mind. [30:14] Eric highlights some of the permutations that they’re looking at, at Brooklyn Labs, in terms of potential reopening scenarios. [34:49] Eric summarizes their approach to budgeting and staffing when it comes to reopening schools. [39:42] Eric speaks about what the first week back at school might look like and what he encourages school leaders to be thinking about. [43:29] In the 7th and 8th point in the plan, they speak about using data to improve continuity as well as reimagining approaches to core services. Eric further elaborates on these points. [47:52] In the last two points of their 10-point plan, Tom and Eric encourage school and system leaders to iterate and communicate and to consider the worst but model the best. Eric elaborates on what he meant by “consider the worst” and gives his thoughts on how we should think about future possibilities and factor them into our plans while continuing to forge ahead. [52:40] Tom thanks Eric for taking the initiative to launch the 10-point plan and for joining the podcast! [53:22] Eric signs off the podcast and shares his appreciation for Tom’s leadership and the Getting Through microsite. Tom Rath is an author and researcher who has spent the past two decades studying how work can improve human health and well-being. Tom served 13 years at Gallup, where Tom led the organization’s strengths, employee engagement, and leadership consulting worldwide. He is the author of 10 books and has sold more than 10 million copies. Tom’s first book, How Full Is Your Bucket?, co-written with his grandfather during his last year of life, was an instant #1 New York Times bestseller and it is used in classrooms around the world. He is also the author of StrengthsFinder 2.0. Tom has two books out in 2020, Life’s Great Question and It’s Not About You. Key Takeaways [3:50] Tom shares the evolution of his literary work. [8:40] At Gallup, Tom asked people all over the world what a good life looked like for them. Relationships, what you’re doing in your community, and your health came back to be the top most important things. [9:25] Tom shares what he believes a great life is... [12:10] Your life is better off and other people’s lives are better off because of the work that you’re doing. [15:00] In Tom’s books, he encourages people to take a survey or a quiz at the end. He has learned that if you give people something to do after they’ve read your work, they’re more likely to incorporate your lessons or principals into their lives. [18:40] What people really want from leaders is trust, compassion, stability, and hope. [20:25] Leaders need to push their efforts outward and think deeply about what the world needs. [22:55] It’s in everybody’s best interest to bring humanity back into the work. Human connection leads to better quality work. [28:45] We should challenge ourselves to be better strength-finders for other people. [31:20] Tom has noticed executive teams are woefully deficient in the area of building strong relationships. He believes there are not enough women on leadership teams. [33:10] It’s human nature to surround yourself with people who act and think the same way. Tom believes it’s important to get people to think about how they can uniquely contribute to making a difference in the business from day one. [39:15] When it comes to the future of work, Tom hopes we can develop ways where humans can find their work passions and meanings a lot faster. [41:40] Tom would like to be remembered as a very caring dad and husband, first. Second, he would like to leave a legacy that lives on for years to come. [42:15] Tom’s challenge: What’s one thing you can do today that will continue to grow in your absence? Quotable Quotes “What’s one thing you can do today that will continue to grow in your absence?” The key to leadership is trust, compassion, stability, and hope. “So many times we’re looking for answers in the wrong places and it seems counterintuitive to say look for happiness outside of you.” “My hunch is that over the next 10–25 years, just standalone narrative books, especially in non-fiction, are going to be harder and harder for people to read through and apply that knowledge.” “The part where we’ve fallen short in helping leaders is to turn a majority of their efforts outward and to think, not only about who they are, but what the world needs.” “The more leaders can draw direct connections with the way their employee’s daily work serves specific constituencies and needs, the more meaningful it makes the work and the better people feel about it, and the more likely they’ll stick with it.” “Life’s most persistent and urgent question is what are you doing for others.” — Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Resources and Books Mentioned Tomrath.org Tom on LinkedIn Follow Tom on Twitter @Tomcrath Tom’s Latest book: It’s Not About You: A Brief Guide to a Meaningful Life How Full is Your Bucket? by Tom Rath & Donald Clifton Life’s Great Question: Discover How You Contribute to the World, by Tom Rath Strengths Based Leadership, by Tom Rath and Barry Conchie Strengths Finder 2.0, by Tom Rath Creating the Good Life: Applying Aristotle's Wisdom to Find Meaning and Happiness, by James O'Toole Essentialism: The Disciplined Pursuit of Less, by Greg McKeown The Leadership Podcast is Sponsored by: Cultivate Grit. Topics discussed: In the old fable The Tortoise and The Hare we find this classic tale of the slow and steady vs. the erratic and volatile. This fable lends itself well to many financial analogies, and rightfully so. Looking back at my personal investments over the years, I am pleased with the prudent, tortoise-like decisions I’ve made yet I still experience some level of disappointment as I reflect on a few emotional, hare-like choices that I now regret. As an analogy for much of life, investing is a marathon, not a sprint. In TOM this week, let’s examine the nuances of taking one’s time when investments are involved and how easy it can be to rush toward a fast buck. And off we go… Links mentioned in this episode: http://thoughtsonmoney.com http://thebahnsengroup.com

Hello and happy Thursday! Tom is hoping this finds you healthy, happy and being the best you! On today's episode Tom continues sharing his walk, his path, his tests and his triumphs. February definitely had an affect on how deep Tom sat in his canoe. If you are a listener of PYPO you know what that means. Tom has always believed in it is not how you begin but how you finish, no matter what that entails. In Tom's most peaceful moments he realizes how small his world gets focusing on that which he truly can control and that which he truly cares about. A Pro You tool box is another fruit of one's labor along a Pro You path. One of Tom's best tools, one that makes him most present and centers him is when he focuses his time and energy on Zen, his best friend. Tom shares how that transcended into a great ending to February. Enjoy and as always thanks for listening! Today, and for the next three weeks, the Getting Smart team is going to explore a new initiative from Education Reimagined. Education Reimagined recently released a paper entitled, “School’s Out,” which set out to explore how we could alter our perspective on the meaning, feel, and delivery of learning. This is part two out of three. For the first episode in the series, take a listen to: “School’s Out: Engaging Families and the Community,” with Amy Anderson and Scott Van Beck. In today’s episode, Tom interviews Nate McClennen, Vice President for Education and Innovation at Teton Science Schools; and IT Consultant, Oscar Brinson. A couple of weeks ago, we had the pleasure of traveling to Chestertown for a live broadcast of our show from historic Sumner Hall, a building that was for many generations central to the lives of African Americans on the Eastern Shore. One of our guests that afternoon was a community activist and former member of the Kent County Historical Society, Airlee Ringgold Johnson. She told us a little about Legacy Day, an annual celebration of African American history on the Eastern Shore that takes place in Chestertown on Saturday. This is the fifth Legacy Day celebration in Chestertown. Every year, there’s a different theme. This year, Legacy Day will examine the desegregation of Chestertown public schools. She joins us today from Washington College in Chestertown.Bill Leary joins us as well. He is a historian who offered the first course in African American history at the University of Virginia in the late 1960s. He also worked at the National Archives and on the staff of the National Security Council. He’s also on the line from Washington College. And with Tom in Studio A, Vanessa Issacs Ringgold. A native of Chestertown, she currently lives in Owings Mills. She was among a group of five students who integrated Chestertown High School in the 1960s. ------In Tom's conversation with Lt. Governor Boyd Rutherford on Tuesday's Midday, the Lt. Governor mentioned two public officials: Baltimore City Health Commissioner, Dr. Leana Wen and Baltimore City Councilman Ryan Dorsey. Following the interview, both Dr. Wen and Mr. Dorsey contacted Tom to take issue with the Lt. Governor’s assertions on two issues.

Extreme Genes - America's Family History and Genealogy Radio Show & Podcast
Fisher opens this week’s show with David Allen Lambert, Chief Genealogist of the New England Historic Genealogical Society and AmericanAncestors.org. David begins by sharing great news from FamilySearch.org. The Freedmen’s Bureau records have been completely digitized and presented to the African-American Museum. David has the details. Next, the alleged “Canal Killer” of the 1990s in the Phoenix area has been caught thanks to the help of a California genie. You’ll be amazed by the details. Then, cremation ain’t what it used to be! Learn about a company that’s doing more with ashes than just spreading them around. David then shares his Tip of the Week, and another NEHGS Guest Member Database. Next, Fisher opens the next segment with a West Virginia woman who was determined to find her Slovenian ancestry. Nancy Moore went with a Slovenian genealogy group to her ancestral home armed with an ancestor’s address. She and a translator knocked on the door and learned…. Well, you’ll want to hear it all from Nancy. Then Fisher visits with Bernice Bennett, host of a podcast on research in the National Archives. (blogtalkradio.com/bernicebennett) Bernice shares her insight on preparing for your trip to the Archives and what you might expect to find there. She also talks about her latest genealogical “passion project.” The techniques she uses are something we can all learn from. Tom Perry, the Preservation Authority, returns to talk about what appears to be the introduction of Virtual Reality to family history! How will it work? Tom explains. In Tom’s second segment, he reminds us the rules of copyright when it comes to reproducing commercial disks. Can it be done, legally? No. And Yes! Tom will explain. That’s all this week on Extreme Genes, America’s Family History Show.

In Tom’s situation, the podcast was not his original brainchild as we are most often accustomed to hearing about on Profitcast. The podcast came after Tom worked his butt off to build up his reputation as a leader in free-market thought and libertarian philosophy, politics and economics. The podcast came after he’d authored 11 books. But it did come, and for the last two plus years he’s put out 5 shows a week, every week, interviewing a vast array of political faces and analysts.
