City life can often feel frantic, loud, and cut off from natural beauty. It's not often we slow down and take in all there is to experience. But even in urban areas, if you pay attention, you can hear the call of a bird, notice your favorite color in shop windows, and look up at the vast sky above. In this guided meditation, we slow our roll and take in the beauty of our surroundings, no matter where we find ourselves. Kazumi Igus is a Los Angeles native, science teacher, and trained meditation facilitator through UCLA's Mindful Awareness Center. She currently serves as a WholeSchool Mindfulness Director at one of the few predominantly Black high schools in the Los Angeles Unified School District. Her mission is to transform education into a system that is inherently responsive to students' social and emotional needs, explicitly fosters focus, and empowers students to develop emotional resilience in an increasingly challenging world. Walking Meditation in Vienna A Journey of Breath and Presence Today I want to invite you to walk with me. Not just metaphorically, but quite literally. Recently I found myself walking through the beautiful streets of Vienna, Austria. A city rich with history, music, architecture and quiet moments of life unfolding all around you. But what struck me most was something much simpler than the buildings or the culture. It was the opportunity to stop… and breathe. So wherever you are right now, if it's possible, I'd love you to join me on a walk. You might be outside. You might be in a park. You might even be walking through your own neighbourhood. And if you're not walking, that's okay too. You can simply sit and listen. For the next 40 minutes, we are going to do something incredibly simple. We are going to walk… and breathe.

Have you ever wondered how to calm your mind while walking, reduce stress naturally, and reconnect with your spiritual awareness through simple daily practices? In this episode, we explore the powerful practice of mindful walking meditation for inner peace, emotional healing, and spiritual clarity. Walking meditation is one of the most effective ways to reduce anxiety, quiet negative thoughts, and reconnect with the present moment. Unlike traditional seated meditation, mindful walking meditation allows your body to move while your awareness deepens. This practice is used in many spiritual traditions and is now widely recognized for its benefits in stress reduction, emotional balance, and spiritual grounding. As you begin your walk, gently bring your awareness to your breath. Notice the cool air entering your nasal passages and the warm air leaving your body. Listen closely to the natural rhythm of your breathing. This simple act of breath awareness meditation while walking helps anchor your mind in the present moment. If your thoughts wander, gently guide your attention back to the sensation of your breath. Each breath becomes a reminder that healing, calm, and clarity are available in this very moment. As you continue walking, begin to observe the world around you with a deeper sense of curiosity. Look at the landscape carefully. Notice the patterns of light and shadow, the movement of leaves in the wind, and the subtle beauty that surrounds you every day. Mindfulness teaches us to shift our attention between the vastness of the environment and the small details of life. This practice helps awaken our sense of wonder and reconnects us with something deeper than everyday stress. During your walk, occasionally pause your thoughts and simply notice moments that inspire awe, gratitude, or emotional connection. These moments might appear in unexpected places—perhaps through a piece of music, a meaningful conversation, the sound of nature, or the beauty of sunlight filtering through the trees. These experiences are what psychologists and spiritual teachers often call “awe moments.” Research shows that experiencing awe can significantly improve mental well-being, increase compassion, and create a sense of spiritual connection with life itself. When you encounter these moments of awe, slow down and listen inwardly. Ask yourself what these feelings might be guiding you toward. Often, these subtle experiences help us reconnect with our intuition, purpose, and emotional healing. Mindful walking meditation is not just about relaxation—it is also about learning how to listen to your inner guidance and reconnect with the deeper wisdom within you. By practicing daily walking meditation for stress relief, emotional balance, and spiritual awareness, you begin to notice that life starts to feel lighter. Problems become clearer, decisions feel easier, and your mind learns how to move out of cycles of worry and into a place of quiet observation. This simple practice can become a powerful tool for spiritual growth, self-reflection, and emotional healing. In today’s episode, we explore how mindful walking can help you: • Reduce anxiety and mental stress naturally• Strengthen your awareness of breath and body• Experience deeper emotional clarity• Discover moments of awe and gratitude in everyday life• Reconnect with your intuition and spiritual awareness When practiced regularly, mindful walking meditation becomes more than just a technique—it becomes a way of living with greater presence, calm, and spiritual connection. Take your time on this walk. Let your breath guide you. Let the beauty around you awaken your awareness. And most importantly, allow yourself to listen deeply to the quiet guidance that emerges when the mind becomes still. Sometimes the answers we search for are not found through thinking harder—but through walking slowly, breathing deeply, and paying attention to the small moments that reveal life’s hidden beauty.
The practice of walking meditation is explored as a powerful method for developing Vipassana insight. By mindfully observing each step—lifting, pushing, and dropping—the meditator begins to notice the intentions in the mind that give rise to physical actions. Through careful observation, the relationship between mind and matter becomes clear: intention is the cause, and bodily movement is the effect. As mindfulness deepens, practitioners may experience the subtle arising and passing of movements, revealing the fundamental characteristics of existence—impermanence (anicca), suffering (dukkha), and non-self (anatta). Walking meditation becomes a practical way to cultivate insight, accumulate wholesome merit through mental development, and gradually free the mind from delusion and defilements. This teaching encourages meditators not to underestimate walking meditation, showing how even simple mindful steps can open the path toward wisdom and liberation.YouTube Video LinkYouTube Channel Link Website:www.satipatthana.caDonations and Memberships

This is a raw recap of what it looks like when you're expanding, even when it feels uncomfortable. We then dive deep into frequency and vibration — the true drivers of manifestation. I break down how the beliefs we repeatedly feed (often without realising it) keep us stuck in negative, stagnant cycles… and how shifting what we feed our mind and nervous system can completely change the reality we experience. We talk about: How we let our current reality control us — when reality is actually shaped by our perception How we unknowingly create distance between ourselves and our desires Why feeling the emotions of your dream before it happens is so powerful The difference between hoping and truly believing with conviction Overthinking, self-sabotage, and the Law of Rhythm And a very personal realisation: how constantly telling people how scared I was of this tour was actually blocking what I was trying to manifestThis episode is for you if you feel like you're doing “all the right things” but still feel stuck… or if you're on the edge of something big and fear keeps creeping in. ✨Let the magic begin,Cleo xxVisit Pass Around the Smile here!Join my Facebook community group here!Find me on Instagram@passaroundthesmile@cleomasseyFind me on Tik Tok@cleomassey_The Pass Around the Smile podcast is recorded on Bundjalung Country, in South East Queensland, Australia. In this gentle installment of the Winter Soul Care series, Alexander Blue Feather invites you into a shared walking meditation—recorded live along the shoreline at Huntington State Beach. Drawing inspiration from the teachings of Thích Nhất Hạnh, this episode transforms the ordinary act of walking into a practice of presence, grounding, and return. You'll explore core principles of mindful walking—walking without arriving, uniting body and mind, and noticing the here and now—followed by a simple, embodied walking practice accompanied by the sound of the ocean. This episode is an invitation to slow down, reconnect with your body, and remember that every step can be a homecoming. Best enjoyed with headphones, outdoors if possible, or wherever you can safely walk and listen.
Are you living the life you want, or the life others expect of you? One father's choice that changed everything. Troy Horne went from driving to work in tears—seeing his 2-year-old only an hour a day—to asking for what seemed impossible: a spot on Broadway's Rent that wasn't a tour. As the Lunar New Year shifts from the introspective Year of the Snake into the bold, forward-moving Fire Horse, Adrienne, Natalie, and Nora pause—before picking up the reins. This isn't about starting over. It's about shedding what no longer fits and trusting the growth already in motion. In this opening episode of 2026, the three reflect on the wins, adaptations, and intentional discomfort of 2025—and how honoring what already happened creates steadier, more sustainable momentum moving forward.Together, they explore:What it meant to shed the Snake—old patterns, over-functioning, and quiet resentmentHow intentional discomfort became a practice of presence, not pressureSaying no sooner—and why that matteredListening to the body before the mind rushed aheadMeeting moments with awareness instead of reactionWhy 2026 doesn't require reinvention—just continuationWins aren't just accomplishments. They're adaptations. They're moments of staying present when it would've been easier to push through or check out. This conversation marks the shift from reflection to movement—without bypassing the pause.Nothing resets on January 1.But with the Fire Horse, we move forward clearer, more embodied, and a little more honest about what we're carrying with us.A grounded, honest beginning to 2026—together. In this episode, I'm sharing one of my recent realisations….the magic we crave isn't something we wait for, it's something we create. And when we make that decision, the universe responds.I talk about my birthday and how I made it my mission to notice and celebrate every little moment…. the tiny things that made the day feel magical. Then I realised… why don't we do this every day? It's our perception that alters our energy, and that energy dictates what we manifest.I also reflect on my 32nd year and read something I came across on social media and found SO powerful:“What a privilege to be tired from the work you once begged the universe for. What a privilege to feel overwhelmed by the growth you used to dream about, what a privilege to be challenged by a life you created on purpose, and what a privilege to outgrow things you used to settle for.'This episode is full of stories, lessons, and synchronicities, from manifesting my incredible tour manager Ainslee (who was manifesting me too!), to the moment I switched from fear to trust and watched the ideas, help, and inspiration start flowing through others around me. IT'S AN EXCITING ONE!I also share a story which reminds us that often the help we've been asking for has already arrived, just not in the way we expected. This episode is a reminder that… ✨ You don't have to wait for miracles, you can create them. ✨ It gets to be easy, it gets to come through others, and it gets to feel good. ✨ The Universe responds when you choose to create the magic instead of waiting for it. ✨ Abundance of opportunities, great people, experiences, travel, money ~ it's all there, you just have to be open to receiving it. How? I tell you in the ep!Whether you're manifesting a big dream or just trying to bring more joy into your daily life, this episode will inspire you to shift your perspective, open up to help, and start building your own magic today. Coming into 2026, I want this episode to feel inspiring and exciting. I want you to (and you can) create positive change in 2026. I want it to be a year of expansion for you, and IT CAN BE! We live in a world where mirrors multiply — in studios, selfies, and in our own minds. From leggings designed to contour every curve to the endless scroll of “post or it didn't happen,” movement has become something we perform instead of something we feel.In this episode, Adrienne, Natalie, and Nora get real (and a little ridiculous) about gym culture, mirror obsession, and the “booty-era” of social media. But beneath the laughs is a deeper reflection:What happens when the mirror stops showing us who we are and starts showing us who we think we should be?Through the lens of yoga and self-study, we explore how to move from self-display to self-expression — to reclaim movement as something sacred, soulful, and deeply personal. Because just because it looks like you're doing it… doesn't mean you are.Send us a textWanna be on the show? This episode is a little FUN & different! I'm taking you behind the scenes of my own September challenge. I set myself three personal goals around career, money, and meditation, and created journal prompts to help me call these manifestations in within the month. Throughout the episode, I share openly the ups and downs I experienced, the changes I made when I realised I was stuck in negative ruts, and how quickly everything shifted when I decided to take aligned action. (P.s. I've ended up breaking this episode up into parts, as you'll see from the title! Part 2 will be coming soon and is me only a few days after this episode!)My hope is that this inspires you to create your own version of this challenge for October (or whatever month you're listening in). There is something transcendent in the simple act of walking—a primal rhythm that reconnects us to the very essence of what it means to be human. Each step becomes a meditation in motion, a silent conversation between body and earth that has remained unchanged since our ancestors first stood upright and gazed toward distant horizons. The cadence of footfalls creates a heartbeat with the world, synchronizing our breath with the whispers of wind through leaves, the distant calls of birds, the subtle symphony of existence that often goes unheard in our hurried lives. In walking, we discover the perfect pace for wonder. Not so fast that beauty blurs past unnoticed, not so slow that we lose the momentum that carries thought forward into new territories of understanding. Our minds, freed from the constraints of stillness, begin to wander paths as unpredictable and miraculous as those our feet might discover. Ideas connect that previously stood apart. Solutions emerge to questions long pondered. Creativity flows not despite our movement but because of it—as if each step generates the electricity of inspiration that illuminates corners of consciousness previously shrouded in shadow. This activation is specifically engineered for forward motion. Whether you're walking through a park, cycling down a path, or driving along a highway, that physical momentum creates neurological conditions impossible to replicate in stillness. The rhythmic pattern of your steps, the synchronized breath, the horizon constantly revealing itself—these elements combine to create the perfect neurobiological state for timeline shifting. With each step forward—each literal movement through physical space—you are not just moving symbolically toward your future. You are literally walking into the optimal timeline where prosperity flows naturally, where love surrounds you effortlessly, where happiness isn't something you chase but something you inhabit. The mechanics of reality respond to intention paired with physical action in ways science is only beginning to understand.
