Subscribe and LISTEN to the FULL episode“You can't believe everything you think” When Wendy McWilliams was 49 years old, she felt like she needed a hobby. What started as a search for a simple past-time hobby, quickly evolved into her life's passion - a thriving art career her work sought after for private collections around the globe. After working through 22 different jobs including for Calvin Klein & Revlon in Europe, she finally landed on what she was meant to do in life - painting. It's hard to not be skeptical about ourselves and our abilities. Art allows us to channel a source of energy, of inspiration, and opens us to become a vehicle for creativity to create beauty through our hands. We are meant to create, to allow creativity to flow through us. Our job is to remain open and to make sure we do not believe everything we think - especially when it comes to limiting beliefs. “You hate your own creations because you think they look too much like you made them. You think if you keep trying you can make your work look like some other, better person made it. But there is no level of skill where you transcend yourself. The thing you hate about your art, is the most valuable thing about it” (paraphrased from Elicia Donze) In this encore presentation, the episode revisits Wendy McWilliams' inspiring journey, originally featured in Season One. Wendy, who started seeking a simple hobby at the age of 49, eventually discovered her life's passion in painting. Despite going through 22 different jobs, including roles at Calvin Klein and Revlon in Europe, Wendy found fulfillment and success as an artist with her work sought after for private collections worldwide. The central message of the episode is encapsulated in the phrase "You can't believe everything you think," emphasizing the importance of overcoming limiting beliefs.EPISODE NOTES:Wendy McWilliams, a guest from Season One, is reintroduced in this encore presentation.Wendy's journey began as a search for a hobby at the age of 49, ultimately leading to a thriving art career.Despite navigating through 22 different jobs, Wendy found her true calling in painting. The episode highlights the skepticism we often harbor about our abilities and the role of art in channeling creativity and inspiration. The quote "You can't believe everything you think" serves as a guiding principle, encouraging listeners to challenge their limiting beliefs.Wendy's story reinforces the idea that we are meant to create and be open to the flow of creativity. The episode emphasizes the importance of remaining open, having fun, and being curious in one's journey.Wendy's transformative experience occurred when she allowed herself to be guided by what would be fun and enjoyable. The episode underscores the power of letting go of self-imposed limitations and allowing enjoyment to guide one's path.Wendy's journey is described as a powerful reminder of the significance of remaining open and lighthearted in pursuing one's passion.

Bibby spills the beans on leveraging email, social media, and the power of community. I love Christmas, but I'll be honest, I have conflicting emotions. I want salvation to be bright and loud! I want the world to be all better, and I want it to be all better now. And yet, the Lord asks us, especially during this season, to trust in his slow work and maybe to slow down a bit ourselves. So, spend 10 minutes with me today and discover: * The unexpected joy hidden in the small and slow aspects of Christmas. * My honest reflections on grappling with the desire for immediate, grand transformations. * A prayerful invitation to trust in the slow and small salvation of God.
Was kennzeichnet eigentlich Alter? Vielleicht magst du dir darüber einmal Gedanken machen. Unhindered Woman | Female Christian Entrepreneurs, embracing their unique path of intimacy with God.
On this episode of Unhindered Woman, I am continuing to unpack the complexity of receiving and exploring how positioning ourselves can lead to receiving what God has in store for us.In recent episodes, I delved into the importance of trust in God and how positioning ourselves in a posture where He can show up is crucial for receiving His blessings. In this episode, I share my reflections of addressing deep-seated issues within my heart, and that I recognize this will be a lifelong process. Throughout the podcast, I emphasize the need to confront uncomfortable feelings and trust in God's support. I also highlight the importance of going through emotional journeys for personal growth. As a leader, it can be difficult to ask for help but there is great significance to be found in having support. Remember that God will perfect what concerns you, allowing you to relieve others from the pressure of meeting your every need. Ouch...
“Lighthouses don't go running all over an island looking for boats to save; they just stand there shining.” Anne Lamott It was these words that produced a seismic shift in this week's Fearless Singer Podcast guest – Karen Gunton. Also studierte sie erst einmal Pädagogik.

Mein neuer Podcast „Inspiration 2 go“ ist online! This week we answer your questions, share some of our favorite moments from previous episodes, and share an inspiring story of transformation from a former U.S. Marine. We've also selected 2 questions for our Podcast Payout!
I hope you enjoyed yesterday's first round of #HouseCalls and now we're back with 4 more of your questions today! Enjoy the Q&A and all the tips added along the way - Let's get started: Anonymous: Hi Stephen, how do you go about getting rid of mold based issues and what if you constantly live in a mold based environment? P.s. catching up on all the great podcasts noticed you changed the intro music, preferred the old one but as always great, great podcasts!! :) Marie: Hello Dr. Cabral! I love your podcast and am so grateful for the way you share your knowledge so freely, as well as your heart to help people! I was wondering if you have read the new book, "Eat Wheat: A Scientific and Clinically-Proven Approach to Safely Bringing Wheat and Dairy Back Into Your Diet" by John Douillard? As someone who has been off of wheat and dairy for years now (and go to great measures to keep my 3 children and husband away from it as well), I was skeptical of the title. But after reading the summary and the many rave reviews on amazon, I feel inclined to read it. I'd love to hear your thoughts on it! Thank you, Marie Ava: Hi Stephen! Keep up the good work - I love your podcasts. Please can you tell me what podcasts you listen to and recommend? I'm interested to hear what inspires you as you inspire me! Thanks x Susan: Hi, My 4 year old won't stop biting her nails to the point they are very sore. Please can you advise how I can help her? I've tried the stuff that tastes horrible but that didn't work, rewards etc. I don't know why she does it; usually when bored or nervous sometimes excited. Any advice would be most welcome! Thanks Thank you for another great week and I look forward to speaking with you tomorrow on our "Motivation & Mindset Monday" show! - - - Show Notes: http://StephenCabral.com/366 - - - Get Your Question Answered: http://StephenCabral.com/askcabral

The gift… The gift I’m offering is about what inspired me to bring one of my very own ideas and dreams to life… This is actually a true story… So, what is that gift? You gotta take inspiration from wherever and from whoever you can find it.
