Nathan is back to discuss the upcoming draft and player freezes. Welcome to season 9 of God Bless Jai Alai.
Spiritual life is unbelievably simple. It is essentially all about single-pointed, sincere, intense love for God, by whatever name you want to call Her! It's about obsessions and absorption, about losing yourself in love for that which is most love-able, Love Itself. It's all about just choosing one Ideal and like a moth into flame, plunging recklessly into it! It should be fun! It should always be fun. It's the most fun! But, part of the fun is that we tend to make things very complicated for ourselves! Especially given how maximalist the Tāntrik tradition can be with all of its concepts, tools and techniques, we tend to ask somewhat unimportant questions and focus on peripheral, non-essential, and often unhelpful priorities. There is a great temptation and proclivity in Tantra to overcomplicate. As such, the so-called left hand path of Tantra (Kaulamārga, Vāmācāra etc.) has always emphasized intensity and sincerity over rules and purity, force and feeling over form and finesseecstasy of feeling over technicality and thought! Let's fucking lose our heads and go crazy for Mā already! What the fuck are you waiting for? The world is mad! Let the dead bury their dead. Fuck 'em. Lets go dance mad with joy in the smaśāna with our friends, the ghosts and drink deep the liquor of devotion! Here are the 3 simple, direct, no-nonsense, single-syllable mantras to do just that! ^ Jai fucking Mā! *premiered on Patreon December 3, 2021We're talking one of the most emotional television episodes we've ever seen. Just saying 'The Christmas episode' out loud makes me tear up.We learn that Rickie has been kicked out of his home has no place to go and Angela wants to help. There are so many layers as to why and how he doesn't want to tell his closest friends exactly what is happening. To our surprise Jordan is there when Rickie needs him. We have an amazing guest star in musician Juliana Hatfield and I tell the story of her Kurt Cobain connection. Angela's parents mean well as they are trying to best handle the situation. Brian's family left for 10 days and of course he wanted to stay home alone. And Sharon and Rayanne become my new favorite comedy duo to lighten a very heavy episode. Our story only gets darker from here and it's riveting and important television.for the complete My So Called Life recaps join the Patreon!---Get BONUS episodes on 90s TV and culture (Freaks & Geeks, My So Called Life, Buffy, 90s culture documentaries, and more...) and to support the show join the Patreon! Around the year 2000, keyboardist Jai Winding decided he didn't want to be a hugely successful musician anymore and traded in his rock star life for real estate. He made the right move for him, but boy was it fun while it lasted. Some of the collaborations we discuss this week include the Pointer Sisters, George Benson, Don Henley, Jackson Browne, Bonnie Raitt, Olivia Newton-John, Howard Jones, and more. Unfortunately, Jai's home, and the homes of many of his clients, were destroyed in the fires in the Pacific Palisades earlier this year and he lost everything including his entire community. Jai fills us in on both sides of his life in this fascinating conversation. Enjoy and Merry Christmas! Be grateful for what you have! The Hustle Podcast | creating podcasts | Patreon

Nathan takes a victory lap on the takes he got right this year, then breaks down all the Battle Court Playoff action.
Pol' and Patrik are BACK from New York with returning guest and beloved Real Housewives of New Jersey icon Teresa Giudice—the platinum-blonde Jersey bombshell diving into BravoCon madness, family healing, and a stunning new coffee reading. The episode kicks off with laughter as Patrik hilariously butchers Teresa's last name (“Jai-deuce!”). Teresa recaps BravoCon chaos: Gia's dehydration scare, paramedics rushing to the Four Seasons, recycled Vegas air, exhaustion, and why she avoided cast drama by staying at the Encore—right above Delilah's, where Pol' and Patrik partied. But the real jaw-dropper? Teresa and Joe Gorga secretly reunited weeks BEFORE BravoCon at their parents' mausoleum. She shares the full emotional chain: Gia urging her to let go in Marrakesh, her breakthroughs on Special Forces, Adriana's teary hug with cousin Joey, and the first brave text she sent Joe: “Never say never.” Joe initially pushed for a four-way sit-down with Melissa and Louie, but Teresa insisted on meeting him alone. At the mausoleum, Joe immediately hugged her, admitting he missed her. That led to a quiet park meetup and then a surprise family dinner arranged by Louie—where everyone laughed like old times. Teresa shuts down critics claiming it's “for show,” insisting she would never fake family reconciliation. She opens up about Louie's pain from the show, how he lost his job, his deep love for her daughters, and why public perception of him is so wrong. Today, Louie and Joe talk daily—“bro to bro.” Pol' and Patrik revisit last year's coffee reading—when Pol' predicted someone from her past would return. Teresa swore “never”… yet here they are. This year's cup is lighter, peaceful, and shows Teresa at the center as the matriarch—the exact role Joe called her during their reunion. The reading encourages her to lead with heart, unite the family before year's end, and enter 2026 with clarity. They touch on Housewives rumors, Melissa, Jennifer Aydin cheering their reconciliation, the infamous pizza-oven drama, and even joke about RHONJ women holding tomatoes or spaghetti as tag-line props. Teresa closes with reflections on her unbreakable bond with Louie—how he's always put her and the girls first—and the divine way they met. Pol' and Patrik celebrate her honesty, strength, and the powerful new chapter she's stepping into. A funny, raw, emotional, deeply human episode—the Teresa Giudice everyone loves, finally undressed.
