The hosts of "the queue now," Mark Bland and Jason Cole, marked their show's 15th anniversary, with Bland announcing the retirement of his traditional intro for a more free-flowing approach. The main topic of discussion quickly became "Liberation Day," which coincided with the implementation of new tariffs by Donald Trump. The hosts expressed significant concern about the economic fallout, drawing parallels to the historically damaging Smoot-Hawley Act. They highlighted the negative reaction in the stock market and the potential for job losses in sectors like automaking. The tariffs were portrayed as illogical and harmful to US allies, potentially driving them towards alternative partnerships, such as with China. The conversation also touched on Elon Musk's waning influence after an unsuccessful political investment and his reported upcoming departure from Trump's administration. A significant segment focused on Laura Loomer, who allegedly presented Trump with a list of disloyal government officials, leading to the firing of several individuals based on loyalty. The hosts deemed this a dangerous precedent. The latter part of the show featured an interview with Dr. Julie Scott, the current vice president running for re-election to the Wentzville School Board. Dr. Scott advocated for the importance of local elections, the Propel proposition to fund schools, and a focus on students' needs over political agendas. She voiced her frustrations with the current board's functionality and discussed the negative campaigning she had experienced. Bland and Cole strongly endorsed Dr. Scott, encouraging listeners in the Wentzville district to vote for her. The hosts identified themselves as "Midwestern moderate liberals".

Do you frequently feel spiritually "weak" or unworthy? Like you're getting it wrong in God's eyes no matter how hard you try? What if the divine ground of your being was always there, unshakable and unchanging, no matter what you did or didn't do? If you've struggled with feeling spiritually flawed, this episode will be a balm for your heart. Immersive Meditation expert Julie Scott (@itsabouttimebaby_julie) vulnerably shares her journey from religious [Catholic] dogma and self-doubt to spiritual freedom. After decades of trying to be the "good girl", a series of profound awakenings, including the sudden loss of her sister, catapulted Julie into a deeper exploration of her own soul's truth. Through meditation and A Course in Miracles, she discovered that love and worthiness were her birthright all along. Julie's "5 New Truths" offer a powerful framework for remembering our divine essence.    The liberating realization that WE ARE NOT OUR BODIES, (but rather the consciousness or awareness animating our physical vessels) Challenging the concept of SIN and recognizing it as wrong thinking and misdirected meaning assigned to ourselves How SPIRITUAL AWAKENING transforms the ways we view ourselves & others (leading to greater self-forgiveness, self-love, and self-acceptance, which naturally extends to others)   WATCH this episode on Cherie's YouTube channel: https://www.youtube.com/@SoulRoseShow .. We're going to talk about the most important thing you can do to sign more clients.   It's kind of obvious… and yet… it's THE THING that most of us go out of our way to avoid.  I have a little confession for you about today's episode…but first, let me introduce our guest.  Julie Scott helps stuck, uninspired, people pleasing women infuse their lives with optimism to find new meaning & purpose so they can confidently make the rest of their life the *best* of their life. v And a couple of months ago, Julie inherited a robust FB group filled with 6000 members of her target audience.  Yet, Julie hadn't quite figured out how to convert these engaged FB group members into clients and she wanted my help.  Now for my confession…  Prior to recording, my brain was popping with marketing ideas I could share with Julie. I honestly came into the session ready to basically blow her mind with my savvy marketing ideas.   And then… once we started coaching, I realized that Julie was pretty much doing most of what I had planned to suggest.  Huh…  But when we dug in just a little deeper, what we discovered was that while Julie was doing an excellent job of nurturing her group.. She wasn't actively selling. She wasn't inactively selling.  She wasn't really selling at all.  In fact, in a lot of ways, Julie was making it HARD for the women in her group to hire her.   You see…  Julie fell victim to Wishful Marketing… the unconscious idea that by offering up super valuable content… people will just automatically reach out and ask you if they can hire you.  This… doesn't really happen.  Like… ever.  So, after Julie and I uncovered that the missing link in her FB group strategy was simply making an offer, we created a schedule to help her step into her Brave Boots and actually invite members of her group to actually become clients.  Quick update before we dive in… Julie posted in our Hive FB group about a week after we recorded this conversation and guess what… she our plan into place and already have two sales calls booked.  So there… if you find that you avoid making offers or even if you subtly mention your offers without really leading with them.. You're going to love this conversation.  Let's get started shall we?  Here's Julie Scott.  TIMESTAMPS: 00:02:00 - Julie shares how she hopes to walk away with a marketing plan that doesn't leave her feeling slimy 00:05:45 - Dallas asks Julie to share the current purpose of her facebook group  00:08:00 - Julie shares what she did to introduce herself when she took over the facebook group and what she does now 00:11:00 - Dallas shares the three things they will put together during the conversation 00:15:00 - How to create “buckets” of content topics that Julie can use to go live and increase engagement 00:19:00 - Dallas walks Julie through the 6-S system that she can use when going Live on facebook 00:31:00 - The Five Person post, and how this can plant the seed for sales before the sales call 00:39:00 - The big reason why people aren't booking free calls with Julie and some strategies to change this up 00:50:00 - Dallas and Julie dig into a next level DM strategy she can implement CONNECT WITH JULIE: FACEBOOK: https://www.facebook.com/pilatesgirlsocal/ INSTAGRAM: https://www.instagram.com/itsabouttimebaby_julie/ WEBSITE: https://www.itsabouttimebaby.com CONNECT WITH ME: INSTAGRAM:  http://instagram.com/dallastraversbizmentor FREE TRAINING: https://watchthecoachclass.com/

How fast can you grow? How do you grow? What is growth? As we dive into this topic, I want you to really think of what “growth” really means. Does it mean a broader income? Or growth in your skills? Because you can do both and you need to focus on one to grow the other. The cool thing about freelancing is that you can grow as big as you want. If you're an employee, you get the same number of income doing things at the same number of hours but it's going to make you stuck. In freelancing, you can grow, grow, and grow if you wanted to.Other Means To Make Your Business GrowYou can also grow in your skillset. As a freelancer, you can always grow your skillset in every area of writing, or you can specialize in one area over another to have a little more in your pocket with the services that you can offer. On the employee side, you can't. You get stuck at the bedside. Unless you're in a leadership role or whatever but really you can't grow your skillset like you can as a writer. Two Types of GrowthGrowth in incomeGrowth in skillHow can you start to grow? The biggest thing that was harder for me to make my business grow was to delegate. Delegation is something we need to start getting comfortable with. As a bedside nurse, I hate delegating because if I can do it myself, then I want to do it myself. I do not want to say I need help, but I also do want to say do something for me.When it comes to freelancing, there are things that you have to delegate.1. Personal LifeI talked about time in one of my episodes about how to make the best of 168 hours in a week. We are all given the same amount of time but we need to be mindful of what we do in those hours.2. How to Give Yourself Permission to Want More and Become a “Feel-Good Junkie”

Many of us are familiar with messages that we should be grateful for what we have, and we may even believe it's greedy to want too much. But is it fair to limit ourselves just so we avoid rocking the boat? Maybe we actually should want more out of life, should aim higher, and should stop settling for less. We spoke with Julie Scott, a life coach and “feel-good junkie” who wants all of us to give ourselves permission to want more. It's an inspiring conversation that may push you to reach for a new goal.Julie Scott is a life coach who thrives on helping mature women prioritize their needs and gain confidence so they can stop worrying about “being enough” and start living life. A self-proclaimed “feel-good junkie,” Julie is someone who personally experienced decades of struggling with people-pleasing, over-giving, and low self-esteem, and the end of her marriage was the wake-up call she needed to change her future. By uncovering unhealthy beliefs and patterns, Julie has learned to accept, trust, and love herself, and she's helped hundreds of other women do the same through her free Facebook group and private and group coaching sessions. She also wrote the book, This Time, It's About You: A Journey From “No I Can't” to “Yes I Can!”With the pandemic and never-ending quarantine, a lot of us feel compelled to “look on the bright side” and focus on what we have instead of what we don't. This is definitely a good thing to do… to an extent. But it can also make us feel limited and prevent us from going after bigger goals. Julie encourages women to want more. What does she mean by that? How does wanting more improve women's lives? Our podcast starts with Julie's explanation. But many of us are probably thinking: Does wanting more ever lead to guilt? Indeed, with the messages we've gotten throughout life, we can feel a bit guilty for wanting too much. Julie describes some of the ways that guilt shows up in women's lives and the ways it can hold us back. Sometimes, we strive to keep others happy, even to our own detriment. As Julie discusses here, some of us become people-pleasers, valuing others' happiness over our own. How can this help us… or hinder us? How does this relate to the guilt we have about wanting more? Ultimately, we must give ourselves permission to want more. Julie has three methods for achieving this and outlines them here. After listening to this podcast, consider how you can incorporate these methods into your own life and start reaching for the stars. Once you've allowed yourself to want more, you may become what Julie calls a “feel-good junkie.” She details how wanting more led her to seeking out good feelings and how this had such a positive impact on her life. This isn't about feeling good at the expense of other important values; responsibility and care for others don't need to go by the wayside. But searching for our own joys will put us on the path to greater happiness, and we'll then spread that positivity to others. Julie offers ideas on how you can pursue those feel-good moments and experiences. Near the end of our conversation, Julie describes the value that being a “feel-good junkie” adds to her life and the lives of the women she coaches. Indeed, this mindset has resulted in Julie and her clients letting go of the things holding them back, forging ahead to learn new things, grow in their careers, and more. Imagine how open your life can be by following this mindset. After listening to this podcast, you'll want to become a feel-good junkie too!Support the show (https://p2q.link/donate)
