Hi Everyone! Welcome back to another episode of the M.E.O.W. Podcast! In today's episode, we will dive into our Karmic Relationship Series and the repetitive cycles in which individuals get stuck. This chat is directly sourced from the book ⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠The Inner Work of Relationships by Mat & Ash⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠⁠. In today's chat, we will explore the wound of Distrust. At the heart of a relationship struggling with the wound of distrust lies the emotion of fear. A fundamental aspect of the human mind that can trigger various extreme behaviors. The constant worry about potential adverse events and whether the partnership can withstand such challenges undermines trust. It breeds paranoia and suspicion, casting a shadow on our relationships. Recognizing that behaviors exhibited in survival mode do not reflect each other's true self or the relationship's inherent potential is crucial. Maybe you overcompensate for past fear and stresses; our wounded inner child seeks to prove its ability to conquer fear by deliberately challenging it and engaging in unnecessary risky behavior to prove our fearlessness. When we undercompensate our feelings of fear, uncertainty, or trust issues, we often exhibit behaviors marked by anxiety, suspicion, paranoia, and a tendency to close off or become overly controlling in our relationship. The ability to navigate the pains of loss and regret is foundational for building relationships anchored in trust and loyalty. When we successfully process and communicate these difficult emotions, we create a safe space for genuine trust. This means genuinely believing in our ability to handle whatever comes our way, and it's all made possible through open and honest communication. In todays episode we have Leanne joining us from Australia . We talk about all things twin flames , soulmates and karmic relationships. What are they ? How can we recognise them ? As well as the things we need to do in order to not repeat the same patterns . This may be doing the inner-work , shadow work and healing. As well as forgiving in order to move on. Leanne talks about her gifts , growing up and learning how to navigate her gifts. We then go on to touch on empathy being an empath , as well as being an unconscious empath which are the individuals that do not know they are empaths. We then go on to touch on challenger for empaths which can include taking on pain that is no longer ours and the things we need to do in order to return the pain and the hurt that does not belong to us. One of the reasons why this is important is because by dealing with their pain we are removing the lesson from them . In order for them to learn the lesson and their journey we have to send the pain that is not ours. Boundaries is very important as this is what is going to protect us and let us know when we are doing too much . Another important lesson is balance and in Leanne's case is balancing between the spiritual world and the real world.
