To save energy and to efficiently use resources, we often need to monitor and to sense, we need to communicate and to process data. To make this possible the Internet of Things promises the realisation of dense sensor networks. But sensors consume energy and cannot always be wired for power. In the EU project LoLiPoP-IoT, 38 partners from across Europe develop Energy Harvesting and micro-power management solutions for Wireless IoT edge devices that enable long battery life sensors to be retrofitted on, in or near equipment and infrastructure. Wireless sensors are the key technology platform to enable us to collect data that will be used for anomaly detection, efficiency and performance monitoring. LoLiPoP IoT creates an ecosystem of developers, integrators and users to develop these platforms thinking about power/battery life, ease of installation and maintenance. The project is driven by 12 laboratory- and field-based use cases to initially demonstrate their technical viability and then potential impact. Büyüklerinin ellerinden öpsün, kızım bu sene LGS sınavı denen akıl ve izan dışı sınava girdi. Ayıptır söylemesi, 491 puan aldı sınavdan. Bu puan ona hedefindeki bir okula, uzak ara Türkiye'nin en iyi imam- hatip okulu olan Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi'ne kaydolma şansı tanıdı. Anlayacağınız, bizim evde telaşlı bir heyecan yaşanıyor şu ara. Hayır, ben imam hatip mezunu değilim ve hayır, kızıma okul tercihi konusunda hiç karışmadım. İlk tercih olarak Kartal Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi'ni yazdı ve kazandı. Uzatmayayım. Gülşen isimli yeteneksiz popçunun imam hatiplerle ilgili o sözlerini kızı bu sene imam hatip lisesine kaydolacak bir baba olarak izledim anlayacağınız. Ve şöyle düşündüm: Yazık, bunun da büyüttüğü bir evladı var ve yine de milyonlarca evlada hakaret etme özgürlüğünü kendisinde bulabilmiş. YETENEKSİZ EVET AMA BİR SOR NİYE? Önce Gülşen'e mesnetsiz ve hatta öfkeyle “yeteneksiz” demediğimin altını çizmek isterim. Pijamalı klipli ilk şarkısından neredeyse çırılçıplak klipli son şarkısına kadar bütün müzikal yolculuğunu bilirim. Tuhaf ilgilerimden biri de budur çünkü. Türk popu denilen “düşüş biçimi”ni senelerdir takip ederim. Gülşen'i “yeteneksiz kılan” iki husus var. Birincisi, Türkiye'nin vasat pop müzik ortamının görece en yetenekli isimlerinden biriyle evli olmasına rağmen yaptığı müziğe bir “derinlik” katamayacak kadar sığ bir müzik yaklaşımının olması. “Dan dan” ile başlayan feci düşüşü “Lolipop” isimli şarkısıyla iyice dip yaptı. Özellikle “Lolipop” ile “kadın iyi yorumcu ama” algısını da yerle bir etti bence. Bıraktık kenara Deniz Seki'yi, Sertap Erener'i falan, Demet Akalın'dan daha kötü söylüyor artık şarkıları. İkinci husus ise daha derinde bence. Sezen Aksu, Nazan Öncel, Aysel Gürel, Meral Okay, Yıldız Tilbe gibi “sofistike söz yazarları”nın yanına bile yaklaşamadı Gülşen'in yazdığı tekerlemeler. Bir türlü “söz yazarı” olamadı Gülşen'den. Bunun basit, çok basit bir izahı var malum. Şarkı sözü ancak “içselleştirilmiş, hazmedilmiş bir kültürle” yazılabilir. Gülşen'de o “içselleştirilmiş kültür” hiç olmamış anladığım kadarıyla. Şarkı sözleri hep “plastik bir tatsızlık” barındırıyor o yüzden. Eh, Gülşen de hemen tüm “öfkeli yeteneksizler” gibi başka şeyler yaparak gündem olmayı seçti. Günün sonunda geldiği yerse “istediğim yerimi de açarım tamam mı?” zevzekliği ile konserde adamların kucağına oturma ucuzluğu oldu. Sonunda da işte imam hatiplilere “sapık” dediği video ortalığa saçılınca “düşüş” tamamlanmış oldu. TUTUKLANSIN ÇAĞRISI DA YANLIŞTI TUTUKLANMASI DA O video ortaya çıkar çıkmaz başlatılan “Gülşen tutuklansın” kampanyasına asla gönül indirmedim. Bunu kayda da geçirdim. Hukuk burada bize yardım edemezdi zira. Değil Gülşen, bu millet hassas olduğu konularda ileri geri konuşan hangi kevaşe, hangi kepaze, hangi bit yavrusu olursa olsun hesabını kesmenin bir yolunu bulurdu çünkü. जुमलाजीवी, बाल बुद्धि सांसद, शकुनी (Shakuni), जयचंद (Jaichand), लॉलीपॉप (Lollipop), चाण्डाल चौकड़ी…जो मैंने ये शब्द बोले हैं वो कोई गाली नहीं बल्कि असंसदीय शब्द है। संसद (Parliament) के दोनों सदनों लोकसभा (Lok Sabha) और राज्यसभा (Rajya Sabha) की कार्यवाही के दौरान सदस्य अब चर्चा में हिस्सा लेते हुए जुमलाजीवी, बाल बुद्धि सांसद, शकुनी (Shakuni), जयचंद (Jaichand), लॉलीपॉप (Lolipop), चाण्डाल चौकड़ी (Chandal Chaukadi), गुल खिलाए, पिट्ठू जैसे शब्दों का इस्तेमाल नहीं कर सकेंगे. मगर क्यों? और ये कैसा रूल है, कब से है और क्या होता है इसका नतीजा, आज जानेंगे इस एपिसोड पर।   तो जो शब्द अभी मैंने बोले हैं, उन शब्दों के प्रयोग को अमर्यादित आचरण माना जायेगा और वो सदन की कार्यवाही का हिस्सा नहीं होंगे, यानी कि उन्हें एक्सपंज। दरअसल जब सदन में कोई वाद-विवाद होता है, या कोई स्पीच होती है, तब उस स्पीच को साथ ही साथ एक written format में डालते रहते हैं ताकि एक रिकॉर्ड बना रहे कि किसने कब क्या कहा। संसद में जो भाषा इस्तेमाल करनी चाहिए उसकी भी सीमा है और इसलिए कई बार जब लोग मर्यादा से बहार जाते हैं , तब उन्हें चेताया भी जाता है और उनकी टिप्पणियां को सदन के रिकॉर्ड में नहीं रखा जाता। अभी फिर से लोकसभा सचिवालय ने असंसदीय शब्द 2021 शीर्षक के तहत ऐसे शब्दों और वाक्यों की नई लिस्ट तैयार की है, जिन्हें असंसदीय अभिव्यक्ति यानी कि unparliamentary expression की category में रखा गया है.   तो संसद के मॉनसून सत्र से ठीक पहले सदस्यों के लिये जारी किये गए इस संकलन में ऐसे शब्द या वाक्यों को शामिल किया गया है, जिन्हें लोकसभा, राज्यसभा और राज्यों के विधानमंडलों में साल 2021 में असंसदीय घोषित किया गया था. इस के अनुसार, असंसदीय शब्द, वाक्य या अमर्यादित अभिव्यक्ति की श्रेणी में रखे गए शब्दों में कमीना, काला सत्र, दलाल, खून की खेती, चिलम लेना, छोकरा, कोयला चोर, गोरू चोर, चरस पीते हैं, सांड जैसे शब्द शामिल हैं .   कुछ pharses भी आप संसद में use नहीं कर सकते। इसमें आप मेरा समय खराब कर रहे हैं, आप हम लोगों का गला घोंट दीजिए, चेयर को कमजोर कर दिया है और यह चेयर अपने सदस्यों का संरक्षण नहीं कर पा रही है, आदि शामिल हैं.    छत्तीसगढ़ और राजस्थान में भी हटे असंसदीय शब्द   असंसदीय अभिव्यक्ति के संकलन में छत्तीसगढ़ विधानसभा में कार्यवाही से हटाए गए कुछ शब्द या वाक्यों को भी रखा गया है जिनमें बॉब कट हेयर, गरियाना, अंट-शंट, उच्चके, उल्टा चोर कोतवाल को डांटे आदि शामिल हैं. इसमें राजस्थान विधानसभा में असंसदीय घोषित कुछ शब्दों को भी रखा गया है जिसमें कांव-कांव करना, तलवे चाटना, तड़ीपार, तुर्रम खां तथा झारखंड विधानसभा में अससंदीय घोषित कई घाट का पानी पीना, ठेंगा दिखाना आदि शामिल है.   सभापति के आदेश से बाहर किए जाते हैं ऐसे शब्द   इस संकलन में अंग्रेजी के कुछ शब्दों एवं वाक्यों को भी शामिल किया गया है जिनमें आई विल कर्स यू, बिटेन विद शू , बिट्रेड, ब्लडशेड, cheated , शेडिंग क्रोकोडाइल टियर्स, donkey, गून्स, माफिया, रबिश, स्नेक चार्मर, टाउट, ट्रेटर, विच डाक्टर आदि शमिल हैं. संसद के सदस्य कई बार सदन में ऐसे शब्दों, वाक्यों या अभिव्यक्ति का इस्तेमाल कर जाते हैं जिन्हें बाद में सभापति या अध्यक्ष के आदेश से रिकॉर्ड या कार्यवाही से बाहर निकाल दिया जाता है.   Lok Sabha में Rules of Procedure and Conduct of Business का नियम 380 के अनुसार speaker को ये अधिकार है कि वो वो शब्द और वाक्य एक्सपंज कर दे जो उन्हें मर्यादा के बाहर लगते हैं।   Speaker उन टिप्पणियों को हटाने का भी आदेश दे सकता है, जो "अपमानजनक या अपमानजनक प्रकृति की हैं या किसी बड़े अधिकारी या इंसान या बड़ा ओहदा प्राप्त इंसान या संगठन के खिलाफ कोई आरोप लगाती हैं"। या फिर किसी के धर्म की तौहीन करती हैं, अगर सेना पर कोई सवाल उठाये और उसे बदनाम करने की कोशिश करे, या फिर सदन का ही मज़ाक बना दे, इन सब चीज़ों को स्पीकर record से हटवा सकता है।    जैसे जुलाई में समाजवादी पार्टी के सांसद Azam Khan ने BJP की सांसद Rama Devi पर कुछ सेक्सिस्ट टिप्पणी कर दी थी और फिर उन्हें माफ़ी भी मांगनी पड़ी थी   2015 में लोकसभा स्पीकर सुमित्रा महाजन ने आम आदमी पार्टी के भगवंत मान की पम्म Modi पर की गई एक टिप्पणी भी expunge कर दी थी। भगवंत मान ने प्रधानमंत्री के रेडियो शो मन की बात पैट अठास करते हुए कहा था कि इससे अच्छा किसानों के लिए बेहतर पॉलिसियां बनाने में समय लगाना चाहिए।    फरवरी 2017 में जम्मू कश्मीर असेंबली के स्पीकर Kavinder Gupta ने मुख्यमंत्री मेहबूबा मुफ़्ती के Article 370 पर की गई टिप्पणी को expunge कर दिए था।    पिछले ही साल अगस्त में खुद प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी के B.K. Hariprasad पर की गई टिप्पणी को expunge कर दिया गया था. कभी-कभार कई टिप्पणियाँ सन्दर्भ में देखने के बाद expunge कर दी जाती हैं जैसे अगर आप संसद को market place या बाजार बोल देते हैं तो उसे भी मर्यादा के बहार मन जाता है।     मगर ये टिप्पणियाँ कैसे होती हैं expunge?   टिप्पणियों को उसी दिन सदन में ही या फिर बाद में हटाया जा सकता है।   अध्यक्ष, उपाध्यक्ष (Speaker, the Deputy Speaker or the Chairperson) उन टिप्पणियों के निष्कासन यानी expunging की प्रक्रिया की पहल कर सकते हैं जो मानहानिकारक यानी कि defamatory हो, अभद्र, असंसदीय या अशोभनीय हो सकती हैं।   कोई सदस्य या मंत्री कुछ टिप्पणियों की ओर भी अध्यक्ष का ध्यान आकर्षित कर सकता है जिसके आधार पर अध्यक्ष ऐसी टिप्पणियों को हटाने का निर्देश दे सकता है।   ज़्यादातर होता ये है कि जब टिप्प्णी हुई, तब ही Speaker उस टिप्पणी को expunge करने का आदेश देता है, हाँ मगर अगर किसी ने बाद में कहा कि ये सही नहीं है, मर्यादा में नहीं है तो आप बाद में भी उस टिप्पणी को expunge कर सकते हैं।    और हाँ, किसी भी मामले में, स्पीकर को निष्कासन का आदेश देने से पहले एकदम verbatim स्पीच सुननी पड़ेगी और फिर ही वो शब्दों य स्पीच को expunge कर सकतेहैं।    Speaker का फैसला यहाँ आख़िरी फैसला होता है। उसके खिला आप नहीं जा सकते न किसी अथॉरिटी को complain कर सकते हैं।    एक बार टिप्पणियों को हटा देने के बाद क्या होता है? हटाई गई टिप्पणियों का  शब्द कार्यवाही के रिकॉर्ड में शामिल नहीं होते है और जहाँ से वो शब्द हटाए गए हैं वहां ...….(Expunged as ordered by the Chair) लिखा होता है।    अब आ जाते हैं एक  ज़रूरी सवाल पर - कि कुया media उन शब्दों या टिप्पणियों को दिखा सकती है जिन्हें exounge किया गया है ?   हटाई गई टिप्पणियों की रिपोर्टिंग पर में मीडिया पर कुछ प्रतिबंध हैं।   मीडिया से ये उम्मीद की जाती है कि वो expunge किये गए शब्द पब्लिश न करें या उसकी न्यूज़ न बनाएं। जो भी शब्द या वाक्य expunge हुए हैं उनकी सूचना लोकसभा सचिवालय मीडिया को भेजता है। हालांकि, यह भी साफ़ तौर पर कहा गया है कि अगर मीडिया कहता है कि उन्हें तो ये information मिली ही नहीं कि फलाना शब्द या वाक्य expunge कर दिया गया है, तो इसका मतलब ये नहीं कि वो इस से बच जायेंगे।   लोकसभा की वेबसाइट यह साफ़-साफ़ कहती है कि प्रेस अगर expunge की गई detials पब्लिश करती है तो हो सकता है कि वो "इससे सदन की तौहीन कर रहे  नियमों का उल्लंघन”   और अंत में जो हो गया सो हो गया वाला केस हो जाता है   मतलब अब तो बोल दिया, रिकॉर्ड में वो भले ही नहीं लिखा जायेगा मगर हाँ मीडिया को उसे कवर करने से बचना चाहिए।   तो दोस्तों ये होता है expunging और ऐसी हटाए जाते हैं सभा से शब्द। AG Noorani ने Asian Age के एक आर्टिकल में कहा था कि शब्दों को expunge कर देना एक abuse of power है। क्योंकि आप कैसे फैसला कर  सकते हैं कि क्या अपमानजनक है और क्या नहीं। ख़ैर ये debate तो सदियों पुराणी है और हम इसे ऐसे ही छोड़ देते हैं। मगर शब्दों पर लगाम लगाना भी कई बार ज़रूरी हो जाता है, उसके exmaples तो आप देख ही चुके होंगे। फिलहाल मैं चलती हूँ, मैं हूँ साहिबा ख़ान

After years of writing about music, Taleen Kali decided to create it. She began performing live sound collages, before heading in a more rock oriented direction with the quartet, TÜLIPS. Hoy nos ocuparemos de un tipo de formación muy común en EEUU en los años 60 y que se han seguido manteniendo con mayor o menor incidencia a lo largo de los años. Son los grupos vocales, que, para esta ocasión, serán femeninos. En la década de los 60, Estados Unidos soporta uno de los momentos de mayor tensión política de su historia: la Guerra Fría frente al bloque Sovietico, la guerra de Vietnam, la carrera espacial, los asesinatos de políticos de la talla de John F. Kennedy, Malcolm X, Martin Luther King y Robert Kennedy, en fin, un largo etc. En este contexto aparece el conocido como sonido “girl group”, que de eso vamos a hablar hoy, y que no es otra cosa que “grupos de chicas”, como ustedes habrán adivinado. Se desarrolló fundamentalmente en Estados Unidos durante la primera mitad de la década de los 60, coincidiendo su declive alrededor de 1965 con la llegada de la invasión británica comandada por The Beatles y The Rolling Stones. Básicamente consistía en grupos formados por cantantes femeninas, con una solista principal y el resto ejerciendo de coro. Se rodeaban de músicos de estudio y de un destacado equipo de compositores y productores. El resultado eran canciones sencillas y muy pegadizas, con ritmos bailables y letras generalmente simplonas e ingenuas, cuyo objetivo era alcanzar el éxito inmediato en las listas de ventas. Como anécdota, Bob Dylan comentó que “las canciones de Bril Building (este era el nombre del edificio donde se cocía este movimiento y que se encontraba en la calle Broadway 1650) se reducían a “tralari, tralaró, me quieres tú, te quiero yo”. Lo cierto es que fueron canciones de gran éxito y que esconden armonías vocales que ya me gustaría oirlas hoy. Las primeras en llegar fueron las Shirelles, por cierto con una cancion compuesta por Carole King, Will You Love me tomorrow Este cuarteto vocal se creó en el 58 y desapareció en el 82, dejando tras de si un buen puñado de éxitos. Exitos que hicieron escuela ya que, a su sombra, nacieron numerosos grupos que explotaban la misma fórmula, aunque no por eso dejaban de ser grupos de una gran calidad como lo demuestra nuestro siguiente grupo invitado: THE CHORDETTES Esto que están oyendo es Lolipop, una de sus grabaciones más conocidas. Otra que les aupó a las listas y les supuso unas ventas de más de un millón de copias fue el conocido Mister Sandman Otro grupo importante de la época, con el sello inequívoco MOTOWN, fueron THE MARVELETTES. De alguna manera, tuvieron la “mala suerte” de coincidir en el tiempo con artistas como THE SUPREMES, circunstancia que les impidió alcanzar un mayor éxito en su carrera. A pesar de esto, consiguieron números uno tan recordados hoy como Mr. Postman Las neoyorquinas RONETTES fueron otro grupo de la decada que cosechó grandes éxitos bajo la tutela del famoso productor Phil Spector. El grupo estuvo formado hasta su disolución en 1966 por Verónica Bennett, su hermana Estelle y su prima Nedra Talley. Entre sus grabaciones más famosas tenemos WALKING IN THE RAIN. Y, como no, su archiconocido Be My Baby Otro grupo de la factoría Phil Spector, o sea, Philles Records, fueron las CRYSTALS. THE CHIFFONS. El grupo se fundó en 1960 en Nueva York. A George Harrison se le acusó de haber plagiado esta canción en su sencillo My Sweet Lord, por lo que finalmente tuvo que abonar dos terceras partes de las ventas del tema al escritor original de la canción, Ronni Mack Y para muestra, la versión de THE CHIFFONS. Y la de Harrison Pero seguimos con otro gran grupo: THE SUPREMES. En 1961, la discográfica Motown lanza al mercado un nuevo grupo femenino: The Supremes que, aunque al principio era un cuarteto, pronto, con la salida de una de sus componentes, quedo definitivamente configurado como trio. Las primeras grabaciones del grupo para el sello Motown fueron mucho más que una sucesión de temas orientados dentro del girl group o el pop soul. Aunque la solista original era Ballard, Ross fue seleccionada como cantante principal del trío, lo cual ocasionó disputas en el grupo, ya que en algunos momentos también Wilson hizo de voz principal del trío. Tras varios singles sin repercusión, a finales de 1963 llegó su primer top40, con el tema When the Lovelight Starts Shining Through His Eyes. Berry Gordy, creador de la compañía Motown, volcó mucha de su atención en el trío, y finalmente en 1964 consiguió que Where Did Our Love Go se convirtiera en un número uno. El tema estaba escrito por Holland-Dozier-Holland, y se convirtió en el patrón a seguir en varios de sus siguientes números 1 durante 1964 y 1965: Stop! In the Name of Love, Come See About Me y como no, el famosísimo Baby Love. Con unas coreografías estilizadas junto con un estilo muy visual, triunfaron en las televisiones y conciertos en directo. Pero el triunfo no les dio la felicidad. Durante esta etapa muchas estrellas de Motown se quejaron de la atención que Berry Gordy daba a Diana Ross. A mediados de 1967 Florence Ballard es expulsada del grupo. Ballard terminó retirándose y, en la pobreza, murió de un ataque cardiaco en 1976. Tras la expulsión de Florence Ballard, el grupo pasó a llamarse Diana Ross & The Supremes, iniciando los rumores de la carrera en solitario de Diana Ross. Y así fue en 1969. Diana Ross empezó su carrera en solitario, siendo su última actuación con el grupo en enero de 1970 en Las Vegas. Jean Terrel reemplazó a Diana Ross y el grupo se mantuvo hasta 1977 con éxitos como Up The Ladder To The Roof, Stoned Love, Nathan Jones y una curiosa colaboración junto a The Four Tops: River Deep, Mountain High. La grabaciones de Las Supremes, con o sin Diana Ross, continúan gozando de gran popularidad y son reeditadas constantemente. Vamos a terminar este programa con un grupo que, aunque no pertenece a este periodo, fueron pioneras del género, y no son otras que las Andrews Sisters. Especializadas sobre todo en el swing y el boogie-woogie, estuvieron en activo entre 1925 y 1967, eso sí, con algún parón que otro debido a las inevitables rupturas por desavenencias entre las hermanas. Our first perm, Akton played by Marjoe Gortner is also in one of Dan’s favorite bad movies, Food of the Gods. According to Paul’s research on the Starcrash imdb page all the dialogue in the entire film was replaced. Is this why everyone is so cheery? It turns out Elle’s voice, Hamilton Camp is also the voice of Gizmoduck from Darkwing Duck. He did voices for The Tick and many more shows. Chris wonders if Elle is short for Lolipop? He is an Android. Christopher Plummer IS THE EMPEROR. Dan tells us, “It’s not the Force.” So what are Akton’s powers? Limitless? Is it all about the full body perm? Sally & Paul think Akton could be a Time Lord. Ele beaten like the fax machine in Office Space. Is that Zardoz shooting lasers at the cavemen? Akton not using The Force, is also not using a lightsaber. Maybe? Dan thinks more movies should feature cavemen beatings. Unless of course it’s the friendly Captain Caveman. Best answer to how main characters inexplicably survive “We’re not like most people.” Why is Christopher Plummer in this film? His answer, Rome. Dan relates similar stories about why actors do bad films from Elijah Wood and Bruce Campbell. How Star Wars Episode IV should have ended. Sally was very excited to see The Hoff in “his pretty lady makeup.” Sally & Dan think this movie feels much longer than it is. Yet, they both felt that it was so bad it was good. Chris & Paul agree. Dan recommends Galaxy of Terror and Chris says you should check our Forbidden Planet. Sally needs more recommendations! Paul suggests Logan’s Run while Chris & Dan praise Attack The Block.
