Episode 470 / Lucio Pozzi Lucio Pozzi was born in 1935 in Milan, Italy. After living a few years in Rome, where he studied architecture, he came to the United States in 1962, as a guest of the Harvard International Summer Seminar. He then settled in New York and took the US citizenship. A pioneer in working concurrently across different media, Pozzi has presented videotapeworks at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and watercolor landscapes at the John Weber Gallery in New York, regarded in its day as the “temple of Conceptualism.” He has shown work in Documenta 6 (1977) and at the Venice Biennale (U.S. Pavilion) in 1980. He occasionally writes and has taught at Cooper Union, the Yale Graduate Sculpture Program, Princeton University, School of Visual Arts and Maryland Institute College of Art, among other art schools in the US and Europe. His work is included in the collections of major international museums and private institutions and collectors. Kia, lives in Rockland Illinois and has film footage on her TikTok - @grandmakia8716 of being pulled over for honking her horn at a police car from Winnebago County, Illinois. Kia said that they wanted to, 'steal her phone,' and that her 'fork was a weapon' as well. Kia repeated back to them what they said. She was trying to find her insurance card. After being yanked out of her vehicle they took her phone immediately. Officer Pozzi repeatedly stated, "I'm going to beat you and drag you." Kia was held for 14 hours shackled at ankles and wrists. Later Kia was  fined $700.00 in which $350.00 was reimbursed at  a hearing in the morning. Kia spoke up in court after the clerk read off the charges but not the one that had been listed, that she was charged for "Improper Use of a Horn."     Kia Walker explains how this abuse unfolded and how it has affected her life and explained that she should have asked for names and badge numbers. Kia is looking for a Civil Rights attorney, Pro Bono, to get the body cam footage that shows Officer Luciano Pozzi stating, "I'm going to beat and drag you." According to Universe Website Builder, Pozzi, a Rockland Police officer was involved in the beating of protestors on May 30th, 2020. Almeno un paio di generazioni di tennisti che meritano di essere ricordate per quello che hanno dato al gioco e allo sport italiano, senza dimenticare, in molti casi, il loro contributo anche come allenatori o formatori. Antibodies are an essential part of our bodies' defenses against diseases. They are specialized proteins that attack and kill foreign invaders like infectious bacteria and viruses. Antibodies are normally naturally produced by our immune system in response to an infection. However, in recent years, scientists have learned to produce antibodies in a lab to treat a variety of diseases.  Several Antibody treatments have been investigated in ALS, including tegoprubart, which was invented by ALS TDI and recently successfully completed a phase 2a clinical trial. Dr. Silvia Pozzi is Assistant Professor at the Université Laval's Brain Research Center in Quebec City specializing in ALS Research. This week “Here's The Scoop”: with Vessels and Pozzi goes on the road for the second time. We take you to a town of champions. Norman, Oklahoma — home to University of Oklahoma, and its seven National football Championships, ofcourse. Also(just a few miles south across the Canadian River) it is home to the elite of the elite equine champions and Stallions. The Quarter Horse world's “Gold Standard in Stallion Farms, and racing breeding operations is unlike any other. Taped last Thursday, our own Colt Vessels tours what is the farm that is the gold standard in American Quarter Horse Breeding. The place that stands the AQHA's leading sire: Apollitical Jess, also stands: FDD Dynasty, Flying Cowboy 123, Mr. Apollitical Dash, and Hes Relentless.Colt also sits down with Phillip Stewart, a man who went to high school with Kristi Peterson, the famous world champion barrel racer. Phillip would go on to start at the adjacent, Moore Family owned Broad Acres Polo Club, as a polo field mower in 1982, in 1985 he began cleaning stalls at Bob Moore Farms and then became manager. Phillip is according to the farm's site “one of most respected individuals in the Quarter Horse Racing industry. He sits on the AQHA Racing Committee, Racing Council, and Graded Stakes Sub Committee. A former OQHRA President, he remains a director emeritus for the association and is on the board of directors for Heritage Place Sale Company. Phillip is well respected in the breeding business for his knowledge of pedigree and commitment to providing the best mare and foal care around.”Moderator and Host Penn Little said, “I've known Phillip Stewart since I was a freshman playing polo at the adjacent Broad Acres Polo Club, just adjacent to the farm, he was as willing to provide advice, assistance, and still does today. Co-Host Rachel Pozzi, while on the way to Whitesboro, Texas, stopped for a few days in the Cowboy Capital of America: Stephenville, Texas. In that time, she took the opportunity to sit down with Mr. Sid Miller, Texas' 12th Commissioner of Agriculture, 21x World Champion (in all breeds, 20 of which he was the rider) calf roper (tie-down & breakaway). Penn hosts and introduces the taped interview from Memorial Day 2022.
