November 2025 arrives as a month of depth, renewal, and profound truth. It is the descent before the rise—the sacred passage where veils thin, intuition heightens, and the unseen becomes illuminated. This month carries the potent vibration of Master Number 11 within a 9 Universal Year, blending illumination with completion. Together, these numbers open pathways of divine awakening and karmic resolution, guiding us to release old patterns, deepen our spiritual alignment, and recognize the wisdom that has been unfolding all year. November invites reflection, surrender, and a courageous return to authenticity. The Full Moon in Taurus on November 5, anchors this intensity into the physical realm. Taurus energy grounds the spiritual lessons of the year into embodied truth—asking us to harvest what's real and release what no longer nourishes us. With Uranus stirring transformation and Venus urging harmony, this lunation balances our desire for stability with the call to evolve. It's a time for gratitude rituals, reconnection with the Earth, and reassessment of what true abundance means—not only in wealth but in spirit, love, and peace.Later, the New Moon in Scorpio on November 20 ushers in the “Phoenix Rising Within.” This second New Moon of Autumn burns through the remnants of illusion and calls forth rebirth from the ashes of transformation. Deeply connected to Neptune's mystical influence, it thins the veil between worlds, enhancing dreams, visions, and spiritual downloads. As Mars and Jupiter bring passion and emotional courage, this lunation marks a powerful renewal of soul purpose. November closes as it began—with depth and truth—but also with luminous hope, reminding us that every ending contains the seed of new light.Listen as Laurie walks us through this powerful month's energies and touches on its impact for each sign. This week-ahead reading for Oct 20-26, 2025 is an excerpt from this week's Somatic Space class with Renee Sills. For the full-length forecast and embodied practice for this week, purchase the recording here. In this week's session, we engaged in seated meditation with the Brahmaviharas, or the four immeasurables, as points of contemplation for what, to Renee, feel like the most healing potentials of Libran energy in their guidance on equanimity, compassion, loving-kindness, and joy for others.
On this week's episode of Cosmic Cousins, Jeff Hinshaw is joined by Rebecca Scolnick, writer, witch, numerologist, and author of The Witch's Book of Numbers. Together, we dive into the Libra New Moon at 28°, exploring the healing intersection of astrology, numerology, and personal myth. Rebecca shares how her relationship with numbers began as a form of reclamation, transforming math anxiety into a practice of meaning-making, and how her recent healing journey through cancer has unfolded in rhythm with Jupiter's transit through Cancer. We explore the Sabian symbol for this New Moon, “Handing down wisdom from generation to generation,” as an invitation to bridge knowledge and lived experience, weaving ancient insight into modern healing. If you've been feeling the call to restore balance, listen deeply, and find beauty in transition, this Libra New Moon conversation offers emotional medicine and actionable ritual for the weeks ahead. Tune in for reflections on synchronicity, name magic, and New Moon wishes for inspiration to honor your own cycles of renewal. Big love!

The dark Moon on October 21 marks the darkest period in the Indian astrological year, though the literal darkest days of winter come later. In India, this time is celebrated as Diwali, the festival of lights. The Sun, Moon, and Venus are all in their signs of debilitation — the Sun in Libra, the Moon in Scorpio from October 24–26, and Venus in Virgo, making this a low point. Yet there's a blessing amid the darkness: Jupiter has just entered exaltation in Cancer, casting its uplifting influence toward the dark themes of Scorpio, as well as Saturn and Neptune in Pisces and Pluto in Capricorn. This suggests that, even in times of chaotic change (or because of them), we can better perceive the Divine. Jupiter in Cancer inspires faith, growth, and purpose born from having been lost in the world. The New Moon falls in Citrā nakshatra, meaning brilliant, symbolised by a shining jewel. Its bright star, Spica, reminds us that stars are only visible in the dark. Likewise, our own light often reveals itself through struggle. Citrā, ruled by the celestial architect, encourages us to refine our craft, master our skills, and share our creative gifts (Libra), to sometimes put aside our own needs for others.Though the weather ahead may appear gloomy, Mars and Mercury in Scorpio strengthen courage and determination, helping us dig deep and persevere. Remember: it's always darkest before the dawn.
The New Moon in Libra will bring with it opportunities for major healing, but it will also trigger major feelings. The astrology of this week stays intense with Jupiter and Chiron forming a square after Mercury and Mars meet up in very intense Scorpio. By the week's end, the Sun and Pluto clash, and it's a real recipe for intensity and drama—if you're not careful. Per usual, Jessica gives her practical advice for coping with it all.

This is the exaltation of Jupiter—an energy of light returning after the mental busyness and overstimulation of Jupiter in Gemini. This week also brings a New Moon in Chitra Nakshatra (Libra) on Tuesday, October 21st, marking the perfect time to begin new chapters in your relationships, goals, and personal balance. Chitra is the architect, the builder—so this lunation invites you to design your next chapter consciously. What kind of love, collaboration, and harmony do you want to create? You'll also feel Mercury entering Scorpio on Friday, October 24th, deepening communication, self-inquiry, and emotional intelligence. Conversations go beneath the surface. It's an ideal time for therapy, astrology study, or journaling—anything that helps you understand yourself and others at a soul level. This episode explores how to work with all three of these energies: Jupiter's long-term expansion, the Libra New Moon's creative rebalance, and Mercury's dive into emotional truth. I'll share how these transits activate the relationship axis of Libra and Aries, the depth-seeking nature of Scorpio, and how the coming weeks can help you heal old relationship samskaras—those karmic patterns that repeat until they're made conscious. If you're ready to bring awareness and intention into your love life, friendships, and inner balance, join my free Relationship Astrology Workshop on October 20th at quietmindastrology.com/relationships. You'll learn how to read synastry charts, understand compatibility, and work with the current Jupiter-in-Cancer and Sun-in-Libra energies for lasting growth in love.5 Key Ideas from the Episode• “We just had Jupiter move into Cancer—the most optimistic, nourishing transit of the year.”• “The New Moon in Chitra is your chance to architect a new chapter in your relationships.”• “Our samskaras—the creases of our life patterns—repeat until we make them conscious.”• “Mercury entering Scorpio helps us get to the heart of what's really going on beneath the surface.”• “Relationships aren't meant to be symmetrical—they're meant to be balanced in a way that works for both people.”Links & ResourcesFree Vedic Birth Chart & Training: quietmindastrology.com/freebirthchartInstagram: instagram.com/quietmindastrologyYouTube: quietmindastrology.com/youtubeMentorship Waitlist: quietmindastrology.com/mentorshipQuietmind Yoga: quietmind.yogaYoga Teacher Training Podcast: anchor.fm/yogateachertrainingKeywords:Vedic astrology, weekly horoscope, Libra New Moon 2025, Mercury in Scorpio 2025, Jupiter in Cancer 2025, Chitra Nakshatra, relationship astrology, samskaras, Libra season, Quietmind Astrology, Jeremy Devens

This week on AstrologyNow, we explore the New Moon in Libra within the brilliant star of Chitra — the celestial architect. This new moon invites us to see beyond our limited experience and embrace our full potential. We discuss the evolutionary strategy of confirmation bias — how the mind clings to what's familiar, even when it limits growth — and how this New Moon invites us to step into the vastness of new possibilities.Libra reminds us of justice, fairness, and the art of relating, while Chitra adds creative brilliance and structure — the ability to turn ideals into tangible reality. There will be calls for peace and connection, though there may be some hurdles or challenges to move through. Plus, a look at Jupiter in Cancer, and its influence on themes of security, homeland protection, and even collective systems like digital IDs. What does this mean for personal and societal evolution?YOUTUBE:Mars + Ketuhttps://youtu.be/J_gnbbOmqe8D9 exploration:https://youtu.be/HTgYcjltyasCharacteristics of Your Spouse:https://youtu.be/i_cOvdSbjy0Soulmate Astrologyhttps://youtu.be/ExnDysvjzUwChristine:website: innerknowing.yogainstagram: astrologynow_podcastpatreon: patreon.com/astrologynowpodcast keywords: astrology, jyotish, Vedic astrology, sidereal astrology, nakshatras, spirituality, Christine Rodriguez, aries, libra, scorpio, libra, capricorn, Nakshatra, new moon, taurus, Venus, Jupiter, Pisces, Spirituality, horoscope, retrograde, eclipse, solar eclipse, new moon, lunar eclipse

Let's Talk About Myths, Baby! shares the most entertaining and enraging stories from 'Classical' mythology (and, often, ancient history of the wider Mediterranean!) casually, contemporarily, and (more often than not) sarcastically. Creator and host Liv Albert is author of Greek Mythology: the Gods, Goddesses, and Heroes Handbook, Nectar of the Gods, and an upcoming children's retelling of the Odyssey.Photo of Liv by Stef Martin. This week, a nostalgic Cancer Last Quarter Moon is a time to reflect on what we've accomplished in our recent New Moon goals. Venus, the goddess of love and beauty, glides into her elegant home sign of Libra, and promptly meets up with idealistic Neptune, unpredictable Uranus, and probing Pluto. Power issues rise to the surface as Pluto stations direct. The Sun and Jupiter bring a fresh start, but might bring up conflicts in all types of relationships. Words can get a little hurtful as Mercury and Mars come together in Scorpio. And a listener question about houses in the horoscope that are ruled by the same planet - how are they connected? Plus: Calming tea, an autumn leaf, and a trip to Disneyland. Read a full transcript of this episode. It's eclipse season! Order your copy of my “Followed by a Moonshadow” eclipse report!
