Listeners of Journey to Personal Excellence that love the show mention:Both emotion and logic have a role to play in helping us make positive decisions. If we understand where our emotions come from and start to notice how they affect our thinking and behavior, we can practice managing our response and learn to make better choices. Being in emotional balance and knowing yourself at this deeper level means you can trust your instincts. So sometimes paying attention to our emotions can be a good thing. If you have a regular mindfulness or journalling practice, you probably know yourself well and enjoy a high level of self-awareness. You might be better off listening to your intuition when it comes to considering whether a romantic partner is right for you or whether you should change careers. When you're faced with a big decision, do you go with your gut feeling, or do you make a careful list of pros and cons? Following your intuition can be a great way to tune in to your true desires. But even when you think your decisions are based on logic and common sense, they are often steered by emotion. By understanding how emotions play into our decision-making process, we can learn to find the perfect balance between reason and intuition, and to make choices that serve us in living the best life we can.

As humans, we often have a tendency to mistake the loudest person in the room for the most confident person in the room, and aggression or being outspoken for strength. As such, extroverts often have an easier time rising to the top of an organization because they typically thrive by putting themselves at the center, and enjoy the attention or accolades. Once at the top, however, I've found that the traits and behaviors most often associated with introverts are the ones that separate successful leaders from failures. The key for introverted leaders, then, is to take the things they're naturally good at, like deep thinking, empathy, and the ability to listen - and augment those skills with a strategic dose of extroversion. If you're able to find the right balance, you'll develop a leadership style that is uniquely set apart from others in your industry and will likely rise to the top as the trusted authority in your niche. Changing the way I show up in social and professional situations dramatically changed the rest of my life. You see, for most of my life I have been very quiet, shy, and very introverted - especially around new people. This really hindered me most of my life from making quality connections and building a solid professional network. I desperately wanted to change this. I knew I needed to change this aspect of who I was for the sake of my career's success. So I began learning how to EMBODY the characteristics of the most charismatic and influential people. And within a matter of months, I dramatically up-leveled: ➡️ My Public Speaking + Networking Abilities ➡️ My ability to hold a higher capacity for better quality relationship ➡️ My ability to show up as a leader ➡️ How I show up in my biz and for my clients ➡️ My personal standards and boundaries ➡️ The quality of people being attracted into my business It sounds BIG, but it's true. (That's why it's now so important to me to help others learn to be more impactful and influential leaders.) But the embodiment didn't come easy to me, at first. I was so afraid to BE SEEN which really highlighted my imposter syndrome + extreme fear of public speaking. In this episode, I dive into how I rapidly transformed my fear of public speaking in just 9 months, and I am now getting paid to speak!

We all have a definition of success. The life we are *hopefully* actively in pursuit to achieve. But is this vision you have of success actually aligned for you?? Or is it something you have been pressured by the outside world and indoctrinated to believe you think you want?? During the first coaching session I have with all of my clients, I want to understand their desires, including their definition of success, and why. I dig deep into understanding what it is that they value and desire out of life, why these things are so important to them, and where these desires came from - do they actually align with what is true for my client, or are my clients aligning their desires out of the pressure of what others think? Inside this episode, I break down what SUCCESS really is, the 4 ways to identify what success means for you, and how in alignment you are with this definition.

The lessons I learned through this process aren't specific to the development of this academy but can be applied to so many different big life goals. I hope you learn something from this episode and can apply these learnings to your journey to ultimate success. www.kollectiveconscious.com
I believe that people of all industry levels, personality types, and personal or professional backgrounds and experiences can be great leaders, and that they can lead quite differently from one another and still be successful. But I also believe that the highest level leaders have a few qualities in common, on of which has to be integrity. To be trusted and followed as a leader, you must excel in three key areas. These three key areas are what separate leaders from influencers, managers, dictators and any other position that might be mistaken for being a true leader. This episode goes into the 3 key ways to measure leadership, and how you can begin to develop your leadership skills. Leadership is certainly a skill set that we can all learn, and when done effectively, can greatly impact and influence the world in a profoundly positive way. There is a clear difference between Coaches, Leaders, Managers, and Influencers, but there are also many similarities between the four as well. This is where we can introduce the five levels of leadership. There are five different levels to Conscious High-Level Leadership, and each level builds upon the next. It is necessary to master each level of the five levels before moving on to the next, higher level. Also, note that you are not on the same level as every person. And each person will “level up” at a different rate than you. Some things come more naturally than others. Just because you may have similar leadership experiences does not mean that you are on the same level as someone else. High-Level Leadership and the particular level that you are on is also relative to each person, each leadership opportunity, and each relationship. Leadership is dynamic. It changes from relationship to relationship. And that is also subject to change over time.

Emotional Freedom Tapping, otherwise known as EFT is an alternative therapy for anxiety, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and other conditions. According to the developer of EFT, Gary Craig, tapping on different parts of the body helps balance energy and reduce physical and emotional pain. It's a 5 step technique that helps you to identify challenging thoughts or emotions that are not positively serving you, and allow you to move through these thoughts or emotions without having to suppress them, ignore them or numb them. This can be deeply healing and empowering for all different types of life's challenges. The intended use for EFT is to overcome negative feelings, but Coach Kael has been utilizing it for manifestation purposes for several months now and has seen significant transformations.
