Future Trends in Leadership: The End of Alpha Leadership & Pathways for Visionary RebelsIn this installment of our Future Trends series, we dive deep into how leadership is experiencing a seismic shift. The outdated, "alpha," command-and-control model is rapidly collapsing—making way for a new paradigm fueled by intuition, collaboration, energetic presence, and soul-led authority.Tune in as we unlock actionable insights on leading powerfully within today's rapidly changing business and spiritual landscapes.Key Episode HighlightsThe Collapse of Alpha LeadershipThe era of "top-down" control, ever-hustling workloads, and performative visibility is ending.Alpha leadership thrived on dominance, hierarchy, and charismatic but exclusive leadership—but these systems are no longer sustainable or rewarding.New leadership models prioritize resonance, alignment, and presence over volume, force, or status.Rising Trends: Intuitive & Collaborative LeadershipLeadership is moving towards intuitive, energetically embodied authority. The most powerful leaders now anchor their vision in both soul and strategy, focusing on community, recognizing individual energy, and creating environments of belonging.Integration of both masculine and feminine energies is critical for shaping dynamic, innovative teams and businesses.Astrological Influences Shaping LeadershipPluto in Aquarius (2024–2044): Decentralizes power, supporting networks and micro-communities over rigid hierarchies.Neptune in Aries (2025–2039): Invites embodied, self-trusting leadership and ends illusions around hustle culture.Uranus in Gemini: Fuels cross-community collaborations and new problem-solving frontiers, stressing the synergy between diversity and innovation.Powerful Quotes“You don't have to become someone new, you have to become fully you. And that's the leadership that the world is begging for.”“Leadership, true leadership is being rewritten... it's a deeper, more intuitive power that already lives inside of you.”Key Questions Answered1. Why is traditional alpha leadership failing?[0:45–3:03 & 8:49-10:25]Traditional alpha leadership, built on hierarchy, dominance, and relentless hustle, is failing because it creates environments of exhaustion, broken teams, and a lack of true collaboration or personal alignment. 2. How do astrological influences like Pluto in Aquarius impact the future of leadership?[15:49–18:15]Astrological trends such as Pluto in Aquarius decentralize power structures, encouraging the rise of niche communities, collaborative pods, and interconnected networks instead of traditional hierarchies. This cosmic influence pushes leaders to value technology, intuition, and diverse relationships as key to effective influence and impact.3. What does it mean to “lead with presence” versus “lead with status”?[9:11–21:02]Leading with presence means guiding through energetic alignment, intuition, and embodied awareness, rather than relying on authority, volume, or outward status. It involves constantly recalibrating with your team or audience, fostering environments of trust, psychological safety, and genuine connection instead of simply commanding or performing.Join the Conversation! If today's episode inspired you or offered new insight into your personal leadership journey, make sure you subscribe, rate, and review on your favorite podcast platform.Share this episode with visionary friends who are ready to lead from truth, resonance, and aligned power!

Try breathwork free: https://www.brendawinkle.com/breathe In this episode of the "Your Yes Filled Life" podcast, host Brenda Winkle explores the significance of intuitive leadership and self-leadership. She shares how intuition can enhance decision-making and innovation, emphasizing the need for leaders to trust and adapt using their inner guidance. There are 5 benefits to intuitive leadership and Brenda outlines three methods to cultivate intuition. She also includes a testimonial from a client named Deepa, who has benefited from somatic coaching and breathwork. Brenda encourages listeners to embrace their intuition to lead effectively in today's dynamic world. Here are the takeaways... What is a leader? You are a leader, we all are. Self-leadership is where all leadership starts. Congruence is created when leaders do what they say and say what they mean... even if it's only to themself. Challenging traditional views of leadership The benefits of leading with intuition include: easier decision-making, creating more trust, fostering adaptability, connecting with your vision, and inspiring innovation. It's been a while since I dropped a podcast as I've had a number of other priorities these days, but I do promise to keep it going.I wanted to share a rich and challenging conversation we had in a recent Clear and Open webcast. This was the 8th session in a course we're currently completing called Intuitive Leadership and Living. Some interesting things came out about challenging values, which in most circles would be considered taboo. Unfortunately, this enables people to stay comfortable and not grow.I'm a business coach, spiritual educator, and therapist and I specialize in helping leaders get out of their own way. For more information about what I do or to become part of the conversations you hear on this podcast, please visit clearandopen.com. My next course, Revealing Your Unconscious, begins September 23, 2023, and this podcast actually serves as an intro to that course. It's going to be very much a workshop like what we did in this session, with a focus on outlining and mapping aspects of your unconscious and related principles. This will include the different types of childhood wounding, compensation styles, finding your hidden medications, how to make your unconscious conscious, and much more. For more information on that, go to courses.clearandopen.com

Today, I have the good fortune to chat with a fabuous guest, Karin Lubin. While there is so much that Karin and I can focus on in today's chat, we connected due to my interest in the book, THE PASSION TEST, by Janet Attwood and Chris Attwood and we'll start by delving into how THE PASSION TEST can lead you to a more fulfilling life - actually a life that embodies the very core values that Karin espouses in her work: connection, wisdom, integrity, leadership, and of course my personal favorites: adventure and fun. But first, a little bit about Karin: Born in NYC, Karin was raised by her Norwegian mother who fought in the Resistence Movement against Hitler and her Jewish father, who was born and bred in Queens. A powerful combination. Karin currently characterizes her work as that of a Transformational Trainer, Journal Creator and Wisdom Healer. This description however doesn't truly reveal her broad business background. Having received a PhD in education, her business leadership roles have included that of a Public School Education Administrator for a period of 15 years and the Global Director of The Passion Test Facilitator Programs (essentially training the trainer), a role that she has held for over 30 years. Her real-life experiences working with teams in both the public and private sectors have given her a unique vantage point for the work she is currently focused on: creating teams based on the concept of INTUITIVE LEADERSHIP - of course, a systematic approach inherently yields results and Karin's approach does just that - she has proven that creating invincible, synergistic and empowered teams is not difficult, you just have to have an open mind, be willing to dispel limiting beliefs, and of course, be schooled in the tools required for a green light. Karin is also a journal creator of two series of wisdom journals, one focusing on the seasons using self-help themes, and another on Internal Family Systems and the 8 characteristics of Self. As in her work with Intuitive Leadership, Karin brings her core values to all of her teachings and programs: connection, wisdom, integrity, leadership, and again my personal favorites: adventure and fun. About Kim Woods: Kim grew up in a family that kept astrology books on the coffee table. If it involves cards, crystals, or flower essences, she's certified in it. However, she didn't come fully out of the intuitive closet until her son was born with significant issues and she walked away from a highly successful corporate career to focus on healing. Now, she weaves strategy with intuition to help clients restore their intuitive knowing, earn more money, and claim their brilliance. She loves to sew and weave threads and tapestries together. Yes, there's a metaphor there. She's got the credentials – an MBA and countless master-level intuitive certifications paired with 25+ years of C- suite business experience. She has built multiple 7-figure brick & mortar businesses and is a former business consultant at Oracle. Key Takeaways:Practical and intuitive are two things that don't belong in separate worlds. They can be melded together and you can benefit from both at the same time if you allow yourself to. If you're a worker in the nonprofit space, a good energy practice is to allow yourself to receive the energy of gratitude from the recipient and the giver so that you could be filled. Find ways to fill yourself up with energy, take care of yourself and double that. Intuition is a muscle that you could build through practice. Listen to your intuition and build on that through experience and practice. Instead of being overly concerned about how you'll be received or perceived by others, think about how you'd like to show up for yourself. This means answering the question of how you'd like to show up in a way where you'll like yourself, instead of thinking about how you can make others like you. “You talked about practical and about intuitive. Well, if I marry these two, the eastern and the western, I wonder what type of results we'll get? Well, amazingly, we got unbelievable results.” You have the recipients who are their clients, but you have the donors who are the customers - understanding you're giving on both sides. That's another reason why in the nonprofit world, it is so critical to find ways to fill yourself up.” “Instinct is the doorway. And the intuition is the house.” - Kim Woods Access Kim's “3 Powerful Secrets to Bust through the Blocks to Your Success” by clicking on this link: https://bit.ly/kims3secrets Reach out to Kim Woods at:Website: https://www.kimwoods.com/YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCXht7r3yCKU991YJZtv9nfgFacebook: https://www.facebook.com/KIMWOODSCHANNELInstagram: https://www.instagram.com/kimwoodschannel/?hl=en LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kimewoods/ Be more confident, credible & convincing to your board & supporters without feeling rejected, ineffective, or pushy. Your Circle Is Critical To Your Success To achieve what we want in life we often must consult with our inner circle to find support and guidance when we feel lost or confused. Conversely if these people do not encourage your personal success and drain you it is time to shed these people and seek out those who will grow with you. In this episode Sarah Elkins and Jennifer Jane Young discuss the importance of one's inner circle and how these people encourage growth and make you feel appreciated. Highlights The importance of treating others like they're human and making them laugh. Thoughtfulness and compassion can shape and inspire. Slow down and enjoy the privilege of selecting what you want. Quotes “We don't realize the impact we have on others just by honoring who we are and showing up as ourselves.” “When someone holds space for you in a way that makes you feel safe, seen, heard, understood, and with someone who can show you a path forward -your path forward- magic can happen.” About Jennifer Jane Young Jennifer Jane Young is an Intuitive Business Advisor, Founder of The School of Intuitive Leadership and United Nations Consultant. Check out her Instagram, LinkedIn, and her websites Jennifer Jane Young Say Yes to your Yes The School of Intuitive Leadership and her Podcast Finding Your Flow About Sarah Elkins "Uncovering the right stories for the right audiences so executives, leaders, public speakers, and job seekers can clearly and actively demonstrate their character, values, and vision." In my work with coaching clients, I guide people to improve their communication using storytelling as the foundation of our work together. What I've realized over years of coaching and podcasting is that the majority of people don't realize the impact of the stories they share - on their internal messages, and on the people they're sharing them with. My work with leaders and people who aspire to be leaders follows a similar path to the interviews on my podcast, uncovering pivotal moments in their lives and learning how to share them to connect more authentically with others, to make their presentations and speaking more engaging, to reveal patterns that have kept them stuck or moved them forward, and to improve their relationships at work and at home. The audiobook, Your Stories Don't Define You, How You Tell Them Will is now available! Included with your purchase are two bonus tracks, songs recorded by Sarah's band, Spare Change, in her living room in Montana. Show notes by Chinook Bromlie

After spending 25 years in a corporate career that blessed her life with financial freedom and reaching a networth of nearly $2 million, Lisa's goal is to empower, equip and inspire 1 million to hire themselves! Perfect Side Gigs' coaching and business pursuit platform helps those interested in pursuing the path of business builder and entrepreneur, equips people with the tools necessary to make the shift and provides a variety of vetted business platforms to consider. Lisa has been blessed with a successful sales and recruiting career for over 27 years. After nearly 3 decades of market ups and downs, she found her learning curve had waned and was feeling less joy in her day to day life of match making. The politics of corporate life got more complex. The clients she was working with seemed to also be asking, "is this all I am meant to do?" She wanted to offer more than just a job. Lisa took the advice she had given countless others and went on a journey to find HER passion and what she would do next in life. Through that journey Lisa entered the world of business builders and entrepreneurs. Lisa has taken the skills she mastered in corporate America and has shifted to helping others find their true passion and business pursuit. One of Lisa's passion is financial education and that topic and business will always be at the core of everything she teaches. Financial wellness is key to success in any business. It also happens to be the most lucrative business in the world in a time where the demand is at the highest and supply is at the lowest. On a personal note, Lisa is an Alaska girl born and raised, married with three kids, is a life-long learner, loves to travel, and sings in a praise band. Those that know Lisa remember a time she helped them and would agree that Lisa's faith is the biggest part of her life. One of her “whys” is that her children will never have an employee mindset, will be life-long learners and continue to find the next version of themselves. The mission at Lisa Williams Co is to bring joy and passion to people's lives through the principles of business building and entrepreneurship. The pillars of her company are faith, family, finance and “Filanthropy”! The “why” behind Lisa's own shift is simple. She was living life less than she knew she was capable of living. She was meant to use her gifts to help others discover theirs. The firm is dedicated to the memory of Lisa's mom Sue Wiese and her dearest friend Elizabeth Meier. She lost both of them to a horrible battle to cancer in the span of 10 months. These were two of the most inspiring and God loving women on the planet. They lived their lives with purpose, a heart for serving others and were lifelong learners until the day they went to heaven. From Lisa: “I won't know until I am up there with them why they are no longer with us, but I will make sure that I live the rest of my life with intention, purpose and discovery. I will grow into the women I was meant to become and my prayer is that our company can help others do the same!
